Ellie shrugged, finishing up the last delicate curl, beginning to arrange them artfully in a beautiful bun, "My mother was firm believer that every girl should wear makeup and take pride in their appearance,"Ellie laughed, stepping back to examine her handy work.

The sound of growing agitation made Jun sit up straighter, completely disregarding those who dwelled outside. "If the tree's decision ended poorly," he began, speaking slowly, posing a hypothetical scenario, "and you ended up eloping together, do you believe your nations would turn entirely against you? Akira is the sole leader of her kingdom, due to the loss of her parents, while you oversee the welfare of your own people. It puts two nations at risk should the tree deny your marriage. Simply because of that fact, wouldn't it overlook your past corruption?"

"She was..." Raya muttered, not to keen on talking about her parents, "Now remember, if Shadae comes crashing in -and I doubt she will- she's not the one who has a demon, witch, imp, shade, protector and Alexander -Who would probably be scarier then us all if something happened- on her side as well as 2 armies combined and a slew of guards." She stated, tossing Ellie a can of hairspray so Akira's curls stayed in place, "So who's your flower girl? Are you tossing your bouqet? Who am I sitting beside at the reception? What food is being served" She asked. Those questions had been burning in her mind for the past few minutes so she just asked.

Ellie blinked at Raya's questions"Flower...girl?" she asked, finishing of Akira's hair. "Is that like a giant monster that's made of flowers and shoots poison at people who talk during the wedding?" Estelle asked, looking curiously at Raya.

"No! Who the heck would want that at there wedding!" She squealed, "It's a girl -usually a child, who scatters flower petals on the isle." She asked, wondering how Estelle even came up with that question in the first place. She smiled then looked at Akira who looked positively beautiful, "Ellie, which one of us should make sure Alexander doesn't faint when Akira walks out?"

Akira giggled "I have multiple flower girls. I got the children from the orphanage to do it. Yes I'm tossing my bouqet into the arena I was told it was a battle afterall. We all shall be sitting at the same table during the reception. Though you'll sit on my right, Ellie on your right Alexander will be on my left. Vincent will be right next to Ellie, then Jun will be next to Vincent then Oliver then Estelle though beside Estelle will be two empty seats as that was to be Maria and Graeme's spots. I have no idea where Graeme has been lately.


Also Alexander won't faint" she laughed lightly at that" A servant walked in "Your highness the others are ready. Its time."


"No" Alexander responded "The Tree unfortunately would not care about that." with that Alexander had gotten dragged away from the others to the alter.


Another servant led all the guys to their seats in the second row. A bunch of old men and women sat in the front row sour looks on their faces eyes narrowing in a judging / critical manner.


Akira sighed. "You should go take your seats. Looks like this is really happening" Music started playing it sounded like a different version of human's wedding music that was more soft. Pixies showered sparkles down as a bunch of adorable little girls rushed out in dresses with baskets of crystal flowers throwing the petals. Akira walked out behind the girls a smile came to her face when she met Alexander's eyes him having a slightly stunned expression on his face. When Akira got close to the alter Alexander grabbed her hand as she walked the last few steps before they were across from each other.

The person marrying them was Akira's adviser. He went through the usual speech humans did then Akira and Alexander said "I do" then it was on to the fairy traditions. The Advisor spoke in a different language in the tongue of the Ancient fae. A chalice filled with water was between the two, they added a bit of their magic to the chalice then walked over to the tree dumping it on the roots kneeling before the tree as the Adviser continued to speak. He stopped speaking and everyone was immediately on the edge of their seats. Alexander held Akira's hand as they both waited heads down hoping for the best. The ground started to shake and everyone started mumbling to eachother. Then instead of what people expected after the shake the leaves did not blacken no instead they fell rapidly one by one though if blessed only one was supposed to, Radiant light shined from all the falling leaves.


Everyone just sat staring in shock. Its not something that had happened in all the lifetimes the kingdom stood. Alexander and Akira grinned as the Adviser's face lit up and he motioned them up. They stood and went back to the alter he spoke to everyone "Now there is only one last thing to be done as the wish of Akira and Alexander a tradition we long ago abandoned. Anyone who reads up on their history would know what i'm talking about. They wish to bind their lives. If one dies so does the other, once this was considered the ultimate act of love amongst the Fae."


Cries of outrage were heard from the council. Akira opened her mouth to calm them Alexander looking ready to kill them when there was cries of a different cry of anger and fear from the guards. Cloaked figures surrounded the Barrier it dissinigrating at their finger tips. Luke quickly moved towards Akira and Alexander as the crowd panicked all of them standing and pushing eachother trying to escape. the barrier shattered and they ran leaving only the guards, Council, the couple and all the others from the cafe. Shadae chuckled as she walked by casually throwing spells at some of the guards knocking them out or killing them. "They all truly are pathetic and weak" she mumbled


Akira's eyes widened in fear and Alexander stepped infront of her Luke finally managing to get to where they are and standing infront of her aswell. Shadae smiled sweet but sinister "I'm wounded you didn't Invite me to the wedding Akira, I would have loved to watch you make a fool of yourself. Really a human and fairy mix wedding? Humans are nothing but dirt, trash." Akira glared "Humans aren't that bad" she said coming to the human's defence. Shadae scoffed at that.


Shadae then smirked "Also I brought you a wedding gift Akira" she hissed she snapped her fingers and a bunch of butterflies carried out two figures, corpses. Dressed in royal garb Akira's eyes widened "Y..you dug up..their graves?" she was horrified. Shadae smirked "Yes I did, I think you need a reminder of how weak and pathetic your parents were. Really, You need to be taught a lesson. First you disrespect me infront of all those pieces of trash. You refuse my kindness my love my care then you don't invite me to your wedding. Your real parent! I'm wounded Akira" she walked forward slightly mock sadness on her face anger in her eyes "You wound your mother your REAL mother" Luke unsheathed his sword "Stay back Shadae!"


Shadae raised an eyebrow "Oh please like that'll do anything." she waved a hand and crystals coated the sword shattering it into pieces. she leaned down next to Akira's father scratching her nails against the corpses face. Akira screeched and tried to get past Alexander and Luke who kept her back Shadae smiled cruelly "This reminds me of the day I killed him. You're looking at me the same way as then and those two are stopping you keeping you away. I could do anything to these corpses and you couldn't stop me now could you? If you weren't being so cruel to your own mother it would not have come to this would it have?"


Shadae reached down once more and pulled Akira's mothers necklace off her neck, the present she made her mother that she asked her father to deliver when she thought her mother was away. "get your hands off of that!" she screeched Shadae glared at it "If they hadn't kept you from me this would have been mine" she mused. Shadae raised an eyebrow looking down at the necklace "No" and she crushed it in her hand the pieces of it littering the ground.


Shadae smirked at Akira's enraged expression "Hate me?" she hissed. Akira glared "Yes, I do" she responded coldly. Shadae smirk widened "I can fix that. I will fix that. You will come to see that I know whats best for you" she ground her shoe into the broken pieces of necklace "and all this garbage you surround yourself with isn't."


Akira's glare deepened "You don't know anything about them Shadae! You misjudge them, they are worth a lot more than you are. You have no right to look down on them!"


Shadae sighed "You're so delusional my dear, do you really think a single one of them cares for you? I mean look at you even now you have a hard time keeping control, you were born evil, bad, wicked its who you are meant to be a strong cold cruel warrior and leader. You only fool others and yourself into thinking you're good, weak, pathetic like them." she waved her hand in Vincent and the other's direction. Raya had been watching the ceremony in complete awe, her mouth making a "o" shape at the glow of the cascading leaves, but that, was when everything went wrong. People -who she could only assume were the council- where shouting over eachother in a choir of angry voices but then Shadae strolled right in like she owned the place. Raya was already creeping up by them, just with in ear shot and was left this at the horrible things she was saying to Akira. When she insulted each and every person who had come from the cafe as well as Akira and Alexander, it was one of those 'boom' moments. Raya was in the front of both Alexander and Akira in a split second, "Your the delusional one." She hissed, shoving Shadae back with a clap of fire. Raya's powers had surfaced when Shadae had killed a guard, then another and another... That was a mistake.


She would have burned Shadae already had the couple not been behind her, if she used that amount of flame near them she could hurt the couple. She frowned then raised a small wall of vines between them and ushered Akira and Alexander back, before turning and taking a defensive stance.

Shadae raised an eyebrow at Raya. "Why do you stand in the way? You're nothing just a pesky little fly, still you stand in my way when I could crush you? Such a foolish little fly" Akira glared when she heard that "Shes not a fly! Raya is a wonderful girl whos upbeat, funny, energetic and kind! She's much better than you!" Shadae gave a small glare at Akira then turned to Raya "Yes yes, Thats what she makes you think but is that really her true personality? She could be waiting to gain your trust so she could backstab and hurt you. Really I've been watching you Akira ever since you had left the castle. I watched you go town to town as Alexander hunted you down. I watched how your so called friends treated you. Really now not a single person here is worthy of you besides me of course."


She stepped forward crystals crawling up the vines destroying them opening the path she kept walking past the vines close to Raya. She smirked when she was beside Raya she blasted Raya with crystals throwing her to the side pinning her to the ground with crystals. Akira's eyes widened and she pushed past the shocked Alexander and Luke running to Raya's side dropping to her knees "Raya are you alright?!" Shadae watched on with amusement and disgust "You really are a fool Akira, caring about the wellbeing of those who never cared about yours."

Oliver, who had been struggling to break out of Buckley's grasp, sunk his sharp, pointed teeth into his arm as he heard the crazy woman's last comment. When she had first arrived, the imp hadn't understood a thing, but it had become more and more apparent that this was the woman Luke had told him about, back when he had checked his room for intruders.


The imp had nearly rushed into her, only stopped by the demon's sharp reflexes, grabbing him by the shoulders and nearly crushing him to get him to stay. Oliver had kicked and flailed, but Buckley had been to strong. Until now, of course, as the demons arm-blood filled his mouth and he was forced to let go.


Oliver grabbed to opportunity, his light-up-shoe clad feet banging against the ground as he sprinted over to Akira and lady crazy, his yellow eyes flashing up with rage as he promptly ignored the shouted protests of the demon, positioning himself in front of Akira like a guard dog, his chest nearly vibrating with a growl.

Shadae raised an eyebrow at the imp "Another little pest...oh wait is that the imp you're so dearly fond of?" she scoffed Akira stood up as Shadae took a couple steps toward Oliver, Akira quickly moved inbetween them "Don't touch him, I'll kill you if you dare lay a hand on him" she sneered. Shadae's eyes lit up a smile appearing on her face "Good good! Killing intent ,that'll make you a stronger warrior!" she said creepily gleefully. Akira glared harder backing Oliver up near Raya.


Akira kept glaring Shadae chuckled "Really now, you could save everyone so much trouble if you just accepted my help. Then I might let your little...friends.. live!"


Shadae's eyes flicked to Oliver "I'll even let you keep your 'little brother' he could be useful" Akira looked ready to kill Shadae but she did not wanna leave Oliver unprotected "Hes not something to be used, hes a living being! A person! A Kid! I won't let you touch a hair on his head!" Shadae rolled her eyes "Really you make everything a bigger issue than it needs to be. Hes just an imp hes worthless." Akira had enough she rushed forwards swords in her hands, Shadae quickly created a scythe blocking both "Temper temper" she smiled "How wonderful! Who knew insulting trash would make you an even better daughter for me!" she said gleefully.

The imps whole stance went rigid rigid as Akira pushed him back, his eyes trained on the woman whom he really didn't care to know the name of. His tail was swinging stiffly back and forth behind him, and his fists were clenched.


He tried to force down the irrational actions caused by his growing fury, he really did, but the woman's incessant taunting, her arrogant and pompous behavior reminded him all too much of his many previous masters, and the thought of the possibility that Akira, his sister, would be doomed to the same fate as he should he not act was to much of a horrifying prospect to deal with.


Oliver attacked.


His movement was a blur, only a slight flash of the red lights of his shoes, and he went for the throat. The scent of wilted flowers filled his nostrils as he knocked the dark fairy backwards, the force of his small form connecting with hers sending them both crashing backwards with enough force to make the imps breath knock out on impact. Oliver didn't care however, his mind was too overclouded with rage to take notice as he sunk his teeth into the woman's jugular, the bitter taste of her perfume mixing in with the overpowering, spicy flavor of her tainted blood.

Shadae growled and blasted Oliver off her him being flung into a pillar of the arch above the alter his arm hitting the pillar with a loud crack she put her hand to her neck and focused one of her followers fell to the ground and bursted into butterflies which flew over and coated Shadae's neck healing her. "Damn Imp made me waste one of my own. Though I'm pretty sure with the force I flung him I broke atleast one of his bones." she chuckled.


Akira's eyes widened "OLIVER!" her scream was loud, sharp and horrified, filled with fear and pain. Shadae's eyes widened her face full of glee "How wonderful, are you finally realizing the mistake you're making child? Do you finally-" she didn't get to finish because crystals were shot at her from Akira. Akira's eyes were glowing and she was growling the runes appearing on her skin her wings pitch black. Shadae smiled laughing "Come, try to kill me" Akira rushed forward creatures made of dark crystal appearing around her rushing behind her. Akira attacked again with two swords her creatures trying to tear Shadae apart who laughed dodging every attack or blocking them only a few cuts and scrapes getting her. "You can do better than that Akira!" She screeched blasting Akira away her rolling on the ground before hitting the alter it breaking with the impact.


Akira shakily made her way to her knees and got up. She was lucky she didn't take much damage her shoulder was dislocated however. She braced herself grabbing her own shoulder and putting it back into place with a sickening sound ringing out through the Area. Her lip was busted aswell. She wiped the blood off of it and charged forward again. Shadae blocked her attacks all the while laughing. She smirked as she hit Akira with the handle of her Scythe butterflies formed around Shadae and flew down to Akira who was trying to get up with the handle jabbing into her back. She froze as the butterflies surrounded her.


Akira didn't know what was going on she could hear so many voices telling her things, things she was insecure about. All her bad memories were brought up all her past pain and insecurities and blamed / pinned on the others from the cafe. Akira tried to defend them but she couldn't she was starting to think the voices were right.


Shadae smiled as Akira got up her hair pitch black her eyes empty, dead. More runes littered her skin her eyes completely purple her wings black. Her skin had a bit of an ash tone on it now.


Shadae spoke to Akira motioning to Oliver "Now Akira, how do you feel about that imp being injured over there." Akira looked at Oliver emotionless "Why what should I feel? I shouldn't care should I? I don't care. It is just an imp afterall and one of those traitors from the cafe." Shadae's smile widened as she put her hands on Akira's shoulders and addressed everyone "Looks like I win. Its really easy you know, All I had to do was make her lose most of her control out of anger and then fill her up with her own negative thoughts and bad memories. Now Akira, what am I to you?" Akira turned her head slightly to Shadae "What do you mean mother?" Shadae smiled "Never mind child. Mother would be proud of you if you got your revenge." Akira smiled cruelly the first bit of emotion showed on her face for the past few minutes."I'd gladly do so Mother"

Ellie watched the whole scene turning paler and paler by the second. When she had called that Shadae woman her mother, Ellie knew that this girl standing front of her was not the Akira she had come to treasure as a friend. She look over at Vinny, her eyes wide with shock, gripping Estelle's hand so tight the girl let out a small yelp of pain before Ellie let her hand go, pushing the younger girl behind her as she looked back at Akira.

Jun watched helplessly from the side as Oliver's form tumbled through the air, slamming into the stone masonry. The sound of his impact alone made Jun cringe in response, the brickwork splitting beneath the force, watching as the imp crumbled senseless to the floor and onto the petaled dais. A tension so profound blanketed the scene, every nerve strung tight by those present, every breath drawn with caution, and Jun could feel his blood thrumming through his body as he watched Akira's features configure into something darker.


Her face grew blank like a sheet of untouched paper, wings darkening to shadows as the strange patterns continued to twine down her limbs. His breath hitched at the sight and when he thought to take a step forward, one of the hooded figures intercepted him, nearly half a head taller than himself, his robes making the grass whisper beneath him.

Shadae smiled "I'll leave them to you my dear. I'll just be nearby so I can watch the show"


She walked off not bothering to walk around Akira's parent's corpses some of the bones in the corpses broke with


how much pressure she decided to put on them. She looked over her shoulder seeing no reaction from


Akira she chuckled walking off Dissapearing with most of the hooded figures only a couple were left behind to help Akira.


Shadae hid in the shadows of the trees watching waiting to see what Akira would do.


Akira smirked turning to the others, Alexander rushed forward and grabbed her wrists when he noticed her creating a weapon


"Akira please, come to your senses. Don't do this. I know you don't want to do this! Whatever shes shown you, said to you is not as it seems!"


Tears rolled down Akira's cheeks but her eyes were still empty pain on her face. When she noticed her own tears it stopped a smirk overtaking


her features again as she blasted Alexander away him flinging a ways away and crumpling onto the ground disorientated and in pain.


A bow and arrow formed in Akira's hands and she pointed it at Ellie and Estelle a cold cruel expression on her face.


She drew back the bow ready to let the Arrow fly. She spoke her voice filled with anger and pain


"You'll all pay for everything I've gone through, for the times you weren't there when I needed you. For the times you didn't protect me. You'll pay."


Crystals spread out around her on the ground everything it creeped towards it destroyed.


(Hows that? Shadae can still be attacked but I still got her to crush Akira's parents bones *squeals* god I'm a horrible person xD )

Ellie let out a small gasp, shielding Estelle further as she looked at Akira pointing at arrow at her, "Akira please...This isn't you! That Shadae woman is controlling you! Please fight it, were your friends!"Ellie cried, trying to reason with the fairy girl, although her pleas seemed to fall on deaf ears. "Akira...Please I can't loose you too, You've become to important to me,"Ellie cried, tears beginning to roll down her face.

Akira hesitated staring at Ellie her bow starting to go loose she started lowering her arm when she heard Shadae's voice in her head


'What are you doing?! Kill her!' Akira shook her head slightly at the command 'She is crying.' she responded not knowing if Shadae could hear her


Shadae responded 'Shes just trying to trick you so they can kill you. You must kill them before they kill you, do you not remembering when they looked at you in fear?


they think your a monster and what do people do to monsters?' Akira flinched 'they kill them Akira, they kill them! If you wish to live do as I say'


Akira brought the bow up again her eyes once again hardening drawing the bow back once more she hesitated but this time she let the arrow fly it only flew by Ellie cutting her cheek


Alexander had finally gotten up "Thats not right.. she never misses. Shes the best archer I've ever seen." Luke was kneeling beside him "you okay?" Alexander nodded

Ellie flinched, letting out a sharp cry as blood began rushing down her cheek. "Akira please, fight her! Your stronger then she can ever hope to be! Please fight her!"Ellie cried, as her tears began mixing with her

"Snap out of it!" Vincent shouted, drawing the shocked Ellie behind him, positioning himself in front of her. He had remained frozen as he watched the exchange between Akira and the woman she called mother, but Ellie nearly getting pierced with the corrupted fairy's arrow had been to close a call, and the demon had felt his breath hitch in his throat, unable to react fast enough, "You have to fight it, Akira!"


Meanwhile, Oliver shakily got to his feet, blood running down his chin as he watched the blurry visage of his sister stand ready to kill his friends. He began stumbling towards her, his arms hugging his body tightly to minimize the pain shooting out from the nerves around his broken ribs. It took some time, but he finally managed to wobble his way over, placing himself in the direct path between Akira and Ellie, holding out his shaking hands as he watched her.


"I-I said I would... never hurt you," He gasped out, falling to his knees as a stabbing pain shot through his chest, "Pl-Please don't make me break t-that promise."

"Oliver!!" Estelle screeched, jolting forward to the imp before Ellie grabbed her, holding her tightly as Estelle fought against her hold, her hair wriggling with fear. "Let me go! Let me go!!"Estelle cried, tears running down her face,

Akira glared pulling back another arrow "Oh Just shut up! Stop trying to trick me! Those fake tears won't do anything! Is it so funny to play around with me? Oh ha ha look we are making the monster look like a fool. You got me okay? so just drop the damn act. Really I was so damn stupid wasn't I? Trusting you trash?! Mother is right thats all you are is trash!" she sneered. She flinched when Oliver was infront of her. Her eyes softened the bow lowering as she reached out a hand to him when one of the minions left behind rushed forward kicking him out of the way "You can fight me instead imp"


Akira's eyes stayed on Oliver another minion came up behind her "What are you doing? Aren't you going to get your revenge?" they hissed. Akira's attention snapped from Oliver back to the others she brought the bow up again drawing it back "Do you wish to die Vincent? I have no problem in making that happen. Really what did you all think would happen once I got my head on straight huh? Once I realized your game?! You all have only been playing around with my feelings! Friendship? I've started to wonder if I ever knew what that really meant. I sure as hell don't have any friends! You all always ALWAYS just stand by and watch me suffer!" tears were once again streaming down from her lifeless eyes.


Shadae stood watching she had been panicked when Akira reacted to the Imp but luckily the few minions she left with her acted quickly. "Just kill them" she mumbled her nails digging into the tree bark.

Ellie flinched, her eyes going wide, "Akira...You aren't a monster, your Akira," Ellie smiled kindly, stepping out from behind where Vinny was blocking her, walking slowly closer to Akira, "A wonderfully kind, caring, funny, sensitive, thoughtful girl who is honestly a better person then I can ever hope it be," she smiled, standing by Oliver's side at this point, "Please, fight her, this is what she wants for you to destroy yourself, to make you feel worthless and lonely and unloved but your not," Ellie smiled gesturing to everyone around her. "All of these people love and cherish you and wouldn't want to live in a world without you, so please,"Ellie smiled, hugging Akira tightly. "Come back to us," Ellie murmured, hugging Akira tightly.

Oliver yelped in pain as the boot of the minion collided with his chest, sending what felt like thousands of poisoned needles shouting through every nerve in his body. The imp curled up, breathing heavily as he tried getting to his feet again, only to find the same minions boot pressing down on his chest, making his already cracked ribs cave in even more.


The pain this time, was ten times worse than what it had been when Ase's sword had done it, and Oliver couldn't understand why. It felt as if someone had stabbed him through the heart with a dull blade, twisting it around, the stinging, burning pain of betrayal hurting far above that of the physical.


With a small, inaudible sigh the imps eyes fluttered shut, the strain of his injuries finally making his body shut down as the minion once again stomped his boot down, hard, and his vision faded to black.

Akira's eyes widened when Ellie hugged her the bow fell from her hands she just stood still frozen for the longest amount of time before she hesitantly wrapped her arms around Ellie. The two minions who had been left behind spoke "Are you really going to listen to her? Are you really that stupid? After everything they've done are you really that easy to charm back for them to just use and betray you?!" Akira's eyes widened her arms drawing away from Ellie she pushed Ellie back and took a few steps back away from her. "You're lieing" she hissed.


Alexander stood clutching his side "No shes not Akira, don't you realize how much they care for you?" Akira turned her eyes to him her eyes flicked to his side "Don't worry Little bird, I'm fine this is nothing." he chuckled acting completely casual like when he was bantering with her. A tiny bit of life entered Akira's eyes at that a small barely noticeable smile on her face "Alex"


Alexander sighed "Really you always create trouble for me y'know and for them too" He nodded in the direction of the others.


Shadae hissed and stormed from the trees to them "Don't listen to them!" her voice boomed "Don't you remember all the times they could have comforted you but never did?!" Akira flinched at that turning her eyes to Shadae. Shadae smiled "I'd never do that to you Akira, I'd never leave you to be hurt by anyone" Akira's eyes flickered over to Oliver when she noticed what the Minion was doing she rushed over and pushed him away from Oliver "Stop!" Shadae's smile fell and she glared at the unconscious imp as Akira lifted his head into her lap "Oliver..."


Shadae moved towards her "Akira leave that imp alone! Listen to me! Obey me! I am your mother! Hes dangerous, trash do not associate yourself with him!"


Akira turned her head "Dangerous?" Shadae nodded "Very, you have to kill them Akira. If you trust them again they'll hurt you." Alexander scowled "Shadae I've had just about enough from you" Luke nodded in agreement and they started to fight Shadae drawing her away. 'We'll leave Akira to you. We'll keep Shadae occupied as long as we can.' Alexander said in his mind to the others.


Akira stood up gently laying Oliver back down the minons stood back again out of the way as she stood and grabbed her bow once more.
