"Yeah... I think i can figure something out," she murmured. Ellie sighed, placing her head on Vinny's shoulder, watching the bird with a vacent expression on her face.

 

[Cryobionic]

"Are you..." okay, was the unspoken word, but Vincent caught himself. Of course she wasn't okay, not after everything she had just experienced. The demon instead opted for just wrapping one arm around her waist, continuing to sit in a comfortable silence.

The bird spoke "Message Received" then took off back through the portal, the portal closed behind it shortly after.

Alexander sighed as the bird came back "Thank god they got the message." he took another bird and sent a message to Luke "Meet me tomorrow, Akira is in danger. We don't have much time. We must prepare or we'll lose her soon." he sent it off to Luke.

Luke walked into Oliver's room to check on him, not seeing him in the bed he began to panic when he heard snoring coming from the closet, he smiled and opened it up. He picked Oliver up carrying him over to his bed when the bird flew in squawking for awhile his Name loud enough to wake anybody, Luke winced hoping Oliver wouldn't stir as he gently placed him down on his bed. The bird then delivered its message Luke listened his eyes widening. He was worried for Akira, he quickly stood up watching as the bird left now having delivered its message

Ellie layed her head on Vinny's shoulder, not breaking her gaze from the bird. " I'm glad I didn't go Paris..... I got to meet you..." She murmured softly.

 

[Cryobionic]

"I can't pretend I'm not happy about that," Vincent admitted quietly, "But I wish it was under better circumstances."

Oliver moaned softly and rolled over on the bed, his tail twitching ever so slightly as he curled up, drawing his jean clad knees to his chest with a small sigh, "Sausages m'de... from birds... no..." He murmured, reaching out and grabbing the pillow, hugging it to him before falling still once more.

Luke smiled chuckling before exiting Oliver's room.

Alexander walked back in to the bedroom after the bird returned and layed down next to Akira pulling her to him, she woke up her eyes only open a crack "Alex?" she said sleepily


Alexander smiled "Go back to sleep little bird" Akira's eyebrow furrowed in worry for Alexander before she went back to sleep thinking she would talk to him about it in the morning.


"Goodnight Alex" Alexander sighed burying his face in her hair "Goodnight Akira"

Ellie sat next to Vinny for a few more moments in peaceful silence, before getting up pulling him to his feet lightly too. "Come on," she instructed, leading him to the stairs up to the apartment. Once they were safe from the curious stares of the few remaining costumers behind the door, Ellie raised up on her tip toes, kissing Vinny deeply and passionately. "I wanna forget," she told him, burying her face in his neck planting soft kisses there, "Please," she murmured softly, almost like a whimper, her hands gripping his shirt lightly.

Raya's fingers slowly moved as she kept her grip on consciousness, fragments of what happened popping in and out of her mind as she cracked an eye open, wincing as a bright light hit her eyes. She heard a scramble of feet then the light above her was blocked by a face, leaving familiar grey/brown hair and piercing green eyes in her line of vision, "Your awake." Her aunt said quietly, leaving Raya scrambling to recall words, "I noticed..." she mumbled then frowned as trying to move resulted in a burning throat and a throbbing arm.


"Do you want some medicine?" she heard her aunt ask, then nodded in response. Hearing the tap turn on and the rattling of a jar just before downing what was offered to her, frowning at the pain it caused on her throat, "Aunt Merle, go to bed." she whispered, fully opening her eyes to see Merle about to object, "I wasn't the one abducted, I'll be fine. You need your sleep." she said noticing Pops come in and sit down beside her as Merle silently walked to the stairs and into the house, "Don't scare me like that." he said sternly even though she could hear the fear laced in with his voice, "Says mister has powers and didn't tell me." she answered sarcastically, earning a soft laugh from her relative.


She jumped when she saw a glowing hand but calmed as it touched her leg and healed her, "Thanks Pops." she said then sat up as he followed Merle upstairs, frowning when she realized Pops healing couldn't do anything about her obviously gone powers which left her dizzy and disoriented, as well as a horrible headache. She had felt worst and easily got up, wobbling out of the backroom and looked around the store, she noticed Jun, who had his face in his hands well slumped against a wall. She tilted her head, then straightened it when it caused her neck to hurt -clearly she hadn't been fully healed- then snuck over beside Jun and plopped down beside him, "Hey you still up for that pizza?" she asked, trying her absolute best to sound cheery so Jun didn't worry.

Vincent only nodded with a faint smile, not saying anything as he wrapped his arms around her waist, gently lifting her from the floor. His lips connected with hers in an instant, and he wasn't sure who was drawing the most comfort from their closeness, but in all honesty, he didn't much care. With a small sigh he buried his face in her hair, carrying her over to the bedroom, before kicking the door shut behind them.

Not expecting to be requested any time soon, especially not within ten minutes of arriving at the shop, it was even more stunning when Jun lifted his face away to find Raya sitting beside him. Aside from the slight rasp that followed her words, she still appeared to speak with her usual sprightly nature - and yet Jun noticed how much it cost her.


"Wouldn't you prefer pudding or something softer to eat?" Despite his attempt to keep matters light, as she no doubt was trying for, it was hard not to notice the bracket of welts that now circled her neck. They were a visible improvement from before but based on how stiffly she carried herself, it was obvious they still bothered her. His smile died somewhat, eyes dulling just a fraction from what they were before. "Will you be alright?" he asked sincerely.

"Well ya, I'll get myself something soft but I'm pretty sure you -and everyone else, would still like pizza. It's pizza." she said then raised an eyebrow at herself and wondered if it sounded as weird in her head as it sounded out loud, then she concealed a frown when his smile died down, "I'll be fine! I promise." she said, this little tidbit completely true, "Did you get hurt at all?" she asked then looked at him, frowning as she realized her stupidity in letting him come.


She quickly changed her train of thoughts then thought up something to support her previous statement, "Pops healed me so I'll be okay." she said then stuck her tongue out, "Since when are you so worried about the girl who calls you a bunny daily, Hmm?" she asked, hopping to her feet then smiling, "Now I have to grab something. If your not standing by the time I get back I am pranking you." she said then ran upstairs to grab a sweater.

While Raya skirted up the flight of stairs - as fast as her neck allowed it - Jun straightened from the floor and waited patiently beside the door. He reached up naturally to tilt his hat by the brim but found it missing. A small moue carved its way to his face as Jun searched around a bit, then remembered where it had last been. When she had arrived, Raya's head had remained bare of any adornments, which gave Jun the idea it was still left in the backroom.


Crossing behind the counter, the door was cracked open with caution. Jun peeked inside, then glanced at the stairs, hesitating. Though he was aware it would technically be considered trespassing, it would be a shame to leave the cap behind, for Alexander had been thoughtful enough to purchase it for him earlier. And besides he had grown a little fond of it. So, with a look of resolve and swallowing down any rising guilt, he stepped inside long enough to retrieve the cap from a coat hanger before whisking back to the entrance door. He waited for her while securing it back to his head, feeling much more comfortable.

Ellie stirred in bed, opening her eyes slowly. She smiled softly laying on top of him, kissing him lightly."Vinny," she murmured softly, nuzzling her face in his neck. "Good morning," she smiled happily, lifting her self above Vinny.

Akira woke up to find Alexander missing, she looked around only to find a note saying he had something important to do and to go on to the cafe. Akira found it strange and sighed "Guess asking him whats going on will have to wait." she sighed and got dressed going to the portal room. Once she stepped out of the portal she entered the cafe. She hadn't noticed cloaked figures had been following her the whole time not a single one friendly.


She sighed walking up and brewing coffee for herself and for Vincent and Ellie when they woke. "I can't wait until the wedding but...maybe Alexander is getting cold feet..hes been acting strange." she mumbled to herself.

 

[Uasal]

Ase sat up in the bed sighing quietly to ensure she didn't wake Marie. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes before standing up and stretching her arms ,and wings, while making her way over to the on suit to brush her teeth and wash her face. After a while she returned to the bedroom and got dressed , the beast was still on her mind from the night before she was one of twelve Archangels so why did she feel like this beast was her burden to carry ? Maybe she should take the day off and let Excalibur finish the paperwork . She sighed and sat on the end of the bed deep in thought.

Scarred arms snaked upwards, wrapping themselves around the witch's slender waist lightly, as the demons lips tilted upwards slightly, "Morning," He murmured huskily, feeling all the familiar signs of his body starting to wake up fully. One crimson eye opened, staring up at her tiredly, "Wh't time 's it?"

Oliver's eyes shot open, and he sat up in his bed, looking around confused. The first thought that came to mind, was that he was cold, and not in the same place he fell asleep in. The imp rubbed at his eyes, clearing them of their sleep ridden blurriness and peered towards the closet, from which he could see the edge of his duvet sticking out. A confused frown made it's way onto his pale features as he swung his legs over the edge of the bed, how the hell did I make my way from all the way over there, to all the way over here?


......


Light tapping sounds echoed down the hall as the nightmare skipped along, his hands clasped tightly behind his back, a smile on his face. It had been quite the eventful night, and while he hadn't stumbled upon anything even near as entertaining as the young witch from earlier, he had managed to find the promised souls withing one of the many broom closets. So, okay, maybe it hadn't just been in there to begin with, but after Quincy had kicked a stray mouse into the closet, and snapped it's neck, it had been. And really, how much more could one ask for.


Quincy hm'ed to himself, spinning around in circles as he continued to dance down the hall, quite content with the nights happenings. As he passed a young, human maid, no doubt one of Serathi's personal 'assistants', he lifted his hand to wave playfully at her, much to the girls horror. She scampered around the corner with a squeak, reminding the nightmare of the late mouse.


Blinking, he tilted his head, and started to lower his hand, when something caught his attention. "I spy with my little eye..." He murmured, pulling at his sleeve curiously. There, on his wrist, among many others, was a group of oddly shaped scars he hadn't noticed before, staring up at him with an angry, red glow. Raising an eyebrow, he thought back, trying to remember when he could have possibly gotten them. Nothing came to mind, and soon they were forgotten completely, in favor of a rather fat spider that caught his eye, distracting him completely.


"Stay still, you tasty, eight-legged treat, you."

This was absolutely unacceptable, the small, black creature decided with an indignant huff. It's tail curled around itself in annoyance, claws tapping impatiently against the floorboards. Three moons, it had been now, and not a sign of food anywhere. While the creature didn't expect to be fed all the time, for it had certainly seen it's share of hunger, it had come to expect to at least get a meal once a day, and this simply wasn't adding up at all.


The black creature jumped elegantly and gracefully forwards, it's tail swinging daintily back and forth as it began to make it's way out of the food room, the one place it had thought the chances of something tasty seemed the most likely. But to no avail, it seemed. The creature hadn't seen her manbeast in a while either, which to her, was almost as unacceptable as not receiving any food.


With a peep of surprise, it's yellow eyes spotted another being, tall and imposing, and smelling of something sweet standing just outside of the food room. Thinking this to be a nice chance of actually getting something, the creature sprinted up to the giant being, rubbing itself against its legs in a gesture that clearly said 'feed me now, or taste the consequences!'


Letting out a loud meow just to be on the safe side, though, Bratwurst stared up at Akira expectantly, tilting her head to the side in inquiry.

"Who knows..." Ellie yawned, cuddling closer to Vinny. She let out another small yawn as she buried her face in Vinny's chest," Can we not go to work today?..." She whimpered, looking up at the deom with big, blue pleading eyes.

Vincent chuckled, shaking his head with a smile, "I wish that was the case, I really do," He murmured, "But remember our promise to Alexander?" He gently poked her in the side, "Don't look at me like that, it's not my fault!"

Ellie sighed, rolling to her side," Alexander owes us," she whined, pulling the covers over her head." Five more minutes!" She demanded.

 

[Uasal]

Ase got up from the bed and into the hall quickly unlocking the door.It was seven a.m 'is it to early for a drink?' she thought to herself 'nah surely not' she reassured herself before making her way down the elevator ,and out into the busy streets. She then began walking towards the cafe shuffling through the sidewalk traffic.

Ellie peak her head from under the covers when Chomp started screeching for attention and or food." Yes, yes," she sighed, picking him up from his spot on the nightstand behind the bed. She placed him gently beside her as she picked up Vinny's discarded shirt from last night , slipping it on," Your luck your cute," she yawned picking Chomp up as she walked downstairs, carrying the plant close to her chest.

(We didn't go out for some reason and then I slept in) Akira giggled at Bratwurst "Hey there I haven't seen you in awhile. You're probably hungry aren't you?" she smiled and walked into the kitchen coming back out with milk and fish "How about this? Do you eat this stuff? I'm pretty sure we don't actually have that cat food stuff Humans make here."

Akira heard footsteps she turned to see Ellie coming downstairs "Goodmorning Ellie! I made up coffee. Hey do you know what cats like to eat, bratwurst seems hungry but I don't know if Fish and milk are given to cats." @Elfia Nightwing

"Cats are lactose intolerent, they can have very little milk," Ellie yawned, as Chomp nibbled on a strand of her noted hair," I know your hungry!" She exclaimed, walking to the kitchen, bring back a packet of meat, sitting down at the bar as she began feeding Chomp,crossing her bare legs absentmindedly.
