Fantasy Magic Brew Cafè (CLOSED)

"i don't really mind but i guess a girl would be nice" Ase smiled fondly looking out the window at the star filled sky "what do you want to call it?" she asked quietly.

Ellie smiled, "Ollie...You had trouble handling a 5 foot blonde forest nymph who wanted a dry martini," she laughed, pulling the twigs out of his hair. "That hardly counts as anything," she smiled.

"Diane, after my mom," Maria smiled softly, rubbing her stomach

"hmm i like it" Ase smiled resting her head on the witches shoulder. she closed her eyes and relaxed "wheres Estelle , i don' want to go to bed only to find out there's a warded pot of fire crackers underneath the frame"

"and to think shes just a witch ..... this child will be the death of me" she sighed slowly getting up from the chair moving towards the bedroom door "i think i might just go to sleep now while i still can"

Oliver's cheeks reddened a little and he looked off to the side sheepishly, "Yeah... well... shut up." He mumbled, rubbing his arms uncomfortably. Glancing up at the clock hanging on the wall he looked up again with a faint smile, "I think I'm going to head... home." He said, hesitating a little at the unfamiliar word before grinning. He wasn't really sure when he had started thinking of the kingdom as 'home', but he found that he didn't mind. In fact, he didn't mind at all.

The imp stuck his hand into his pocket, rummaging around, before a frown of realization came over him, as he thought back, "Oh right... my key." A flash of the golden object came unbidden into his mind, still lying on Graeme's kitchen table, after the dispute he had had with Akira. With his shoulders now slumping, he made his way to the other side of the bar, flinging himself down in a barstool.

"huh" Ase said turning to the girl as she got dressed "what for .....its not twins is it!" Ase said quickly stopping what she was doing. one child was bad enough but two children could take shifts ultimately destroying her !

"Is something wrong Oliver?" Ellie asked, tilting her head slightly as she saw the imp's crestfallen face, "Can you not go home or something?" she asked curiously.

"What?! No! well, I don't know! We won't know for a few more months!" Maria sighed, "I just feel like, this baby...it's giving you a lot a stress, and I've been wondering if that's why you've been staying late a work lately," she admitted, avoiding the angels eye contact.

"oh thank god! Marie you scared me for a minute" Ase sighed in relief continuing with what she had previously been doing "and there's no need to apologize Marie i have been working late due to the time of year it is , nothing more or less you know" she smiled laying down on the bed "that and i still haven't done the paperwork for spring and summer" she sighed quietly to herself.

"i don't know but Excalibur is grate she finished off last Christmas's reports and all so i'll just get her to do springs tomorrow" ase laughed

Ase smiled hugging the girl lightly "its one of the more attractive aspects of me don't you think" Ase laughed closing her eyes as she tuned to face the window. "well good night Marie"

Akira sighed unable to fall asleep Alexander cracked an eye open "Little bird why aren't you asleep?" Akira sighed again "I'm worried about Oliver, I just..want to make sure he got back to the kingdom in time." Alexander sighed "You can always send a bird Luke's way." Akira's face brightened "You're right" she hopped out of bed "I'll be back" she rushed out of the room in her nightgown surprising the guards. Alexander heard flustered guards and just chuckled waiting for Akira to come back.

Akira entered one of the towers and climbed the stairs higher and higher until at the top where she whispered words into a crystal birds ear and sent it off to Luke.

Awhile later she got one back Luke's voice came out of the bird "No Oliver has not come back yet and the portals are already closed" Akira sighed sadly at that a bit worried so she sent another bird Luke's way asking him to fetch Oliver another bird came to her awhile later "Don't worry, I'll find him and get him home, he'll be okay Akira" Akira smiled feeling a little relieved at that.

Akira walked back down the stairs of the tower and went back to the bedroom

----

Luke sighed shaking his head at how worried Akira was as he walked to the portal room it was a hassle getting them to open the Portals for awhile.

He set the portal and stepped through to the cafe walking inside looking for Oliver. "Oliver?" he caught sight of one imp looking quite upset sitting on a bar stool.

He walked up tapping Oliver's shoulder "Oliver, I've come to take you home."

@Cryobionic

Oliver, who had been preoccupied with tracing circles some water left over from the 'riot', jumped a little at the shoulder tapping, spinning around wide-eyed. His yellow eyes narrowed a little, the imp remembering all to well what had happened the last time he had been in the presence of the imposing looking fairy. "Okay," He said hesitantly getting off the stool, his shoes flashing as they made contact with the floor, "Thanks." He said quietly, shoving his hands into his pockets, staring up at him, "I still don't like you, though."

Luke nodded "Fair enough. You know if it wasn't for Akira being so worried as to contact me to ask of your whereabouts I would not have thought to come get you and you would have been stuck here, shes the one you really owe your thanks to." Luke pulled out his key and threw it leading Oliver through back to the castle.

@Cryobionic

"And if it wasn't for you literally manhandling me and my cat, leaving the key on Graeme's table, I wouldn't be stuck here in the first place." Oliver deadpanned, walking through the portal, smiling as they entered the now familiar portal room, "So I'm really the one you owe an apology to."

Ellie blinked looking at Vinny as Oliver and Akira's friend went through their portal, "That was pretty weird," she murmured, tilting her head slightly.

Luke smirked at Oliver "Well I wouldn't have manhandled you as you so put it if you hadn't run off making Akira so distressed and tired she fell ill. I am sorry for manhandling you. I was worried about Akira and was only really thinking of her." he reached into his own pocket and handed Oliver a new key "This is my backup key, you can use it since you lost yours. Now I need to send a message to Akira to tell her you are alright, Do you wish to send her a message aswell?"

@Cryobionic

Oliver, still a little unsure about the whole situation, accepted the key before dropping it into his pocket, the weight of it replacing the other one perfectly. "Thanks." He murmured, shuffling about a little awkwardly, the thought of Akira having fallen ill because of him not sitting well with the imp at all.

He looked up at the fairy's next inquiry, tilting his head with a confused frown. "Sure," He shrugged, briefly wondering why they couldn't just walk over to her, as he was sure she was still in the castle somewhere, "What do I have to do?"

....

Vincent chuckled, shaking his head, "Yeah, I agree," He told her with a grin, filling up a glass of beer for a sweet looking young ghoul, "But when Akira and Oliver are involved, what do you expect?"

Luke smiled "Just follow me" he made sure Oliver was following as he walked leading them up one of the winding towers to the top a bunch of crystal birds in cages around the room. "Just take one of the birds out tell it your name and message and hold it out the window and it'll track the recipient. Don't worry even though Akira is in Alexander's kingdom these birds can cross realms and kingdoms easily." he picked one out of the cage speaking to it before sending it off it dissapearing in a portal in the air.

----

Akira waited sitting on her bed with Alexander a crystal bird flapped its wings flying through the castle soon Akira heard a pecking sound on the door she got up and opened it for the bird to fly in.

Luke's voice resounded through the room from it. "Oliver is back at the castle, he is safe." Akira sighed in relief and flopped onto the bed "Thank goodness hes alright." Alexander smiled "You really care about him huh?" Akira nodded "I've said before, hes like a little brother." she smiled brightly Alexander's eyes softened as he seen her face light up.

He found Raya's topic of conversation a rather odd choice, especially since she sputtered the words in such haste as if to rid them of her mind. But when it came to speaking, Jun didn't do much of it himself. And for that he appreciated the girl's input, otherwise the shade would have spent most of the walk in calm silence. Seeing that she had been so eager to list off her thoughts, it was only fair for him to answer her the best he could.

Jun held up a hand before him, the fingers curled in a fist. As they made their way down the rest of the alley and onto the streets, Jun kept track of his ideas and held up his pinky finger. "Since the shop has just opened, I suggest we bring it through the back door." His ring and then middle finger followed as Jun tried to answer in order. "Yes, I do find pizza tasty. But I've never had artichokes to form a correct opinion of them." His face turned into one of concentration as he began to struggle at recalling what she said, soon scrambling his answers. "Mm...I didn't know fish ate pineapples, and I'm not sure why people put pizza on top of broccoli."

The boy paused with all five fingers extended in the air. His last two responses didn't sound right, and to avoid confusing himself further he responded to Raya's last question, settling into his usual serene faced visage. "Pizza would sound nice after this."

As the butterfly continued to lead them further into the city, the irregular flapping of its wings making it bob up and down in a drunken fashion, Jun was beginning to wonder if it were leading them in circles just for fun (for he was sure he had spotted that rose bush before), when he noticed Raya's hair reflected in a shop window. "How do you intend to fix that, by the way?" he asked and pointed at the bright colored strands."I feel like the other color suited you better."

Oliver walked after the bigger man, listening intently as he followed him into the towers, a disbelieving look on his face. While he was accustomed to the act of sending messages through other beings, him being an imp meaning that that task usually fell on him, he had never heard of birds being used for such an important task.

He had always seen birds as lesser beings, unintelligent feather creatures with tiny brains, so when he observed Luke talking to one of them, the disbelief on his face increased by a tenfold. Not wanting to appear disrespectful, though, he walked up to one of the cages, opening it slowly.

"Hi," He said awkwardly, holding out his finger as he had seen Luke do, flinching ever so slightly as the bird perched himself on it, "Um... could you tell Akira that... I'm fine and that she should stop worrying so much. It'll make her sick again. Oh, and... that I," Oliver lowered his voice, the ridiculousness of talking to a bird being outmatched by the embarrassing fact he was about to tell it, "... that I kinda miss her."

With that, he shuffled over to the portal Luke had conjured, watching the bird fly into it curiously.
