Akira turned to Maria after having raised her hand to slap Ase surprised "She was looking down on Oliver disrespecting him insulting him saying hes NOTHING after going at me for me trying to be your friend! This fight is not on me. Shes trying to prevent me from befriending you and keeps either physically attacking Oliver or trash talking him and I'm sick of it! You are a saint putting up with her. Ase smiled and waved lamely at the witch as she entered the cafe flinching somewhat as she screeched. " good morning Marie " she said softly drinking once again from the bottle "and as for why i'm fighting its because the pixie here called you rough and then started talking about an imp as if the creature actually mattered !"

Maria eyes narrowed dangerously like a snakes about to strike, "Excuse me?" she asked, raising her eyebrow at Akira. "At least Ase has never locked me in a room and throw away the key to 'protect me' like your precious Alexander, Ase hasn't kidnapped a extremely powerful leader and almost cause a political war, Ase hasn't been corrupted by her own selfishness and pretentious ideas!!!!!!!!!" she turned to Ase her face still red with anger, "AND you!!!!! I told you leave Oliver alone!!!! Do you have fucking feathers in your ears!? I don't care what kind of weird problem you have with imps, and I can't take anymore!!!!!" she screamed, glaring daggers at the angel.

Akira glared at Maria "Alexander may have been an idiot getting corrupted but he ended up that way trying to protect me if its anyones fault its my fathers and mine! If I wasn't born none of it would have happened NONE OF IT! And no Ase only almost killed Oliver and went at me for me trying to befriend you and give you gifts! Really why did I go shopping with you, why did I think you were nice? You obviously hate me and don't want to be friends. No one ever stops Ase EVER." she screeched with a sob rushing to the cafe door tears in her eyes "Ellie even got angry for some unknown reason earlier when we were talking! I don't know why I'm even here anymore! Alexander is keeping something from me and I can't help him. I've got some evil B*tch after me too. I can't take any of this anymore!" with that she opened the door walking out slamming it behind her walking away tears streaming down her face.


@Elfia Nightwing @Mr Swiftshots (*cringes* Really Maria, bringing Alexander into this and his corruption that Akira thinks is all her fault? Thats pretty low)

Maria glared at Ase, running after Akira,"Wait!" she called out, running behind the retreating girl,"Akira!!" she screeched, taking deep breaths, as she began to wobble, soon collapsing in the street.

Oliver stumbled forward, almost faceplanting into the dirty concrete of the alleyway. Really, he needed to get a better hang of those portals, or he'd end up drowning in the Atlantic ocean some day. The imp giggled at the thought, dropping his golden, new key back in his pocket. After waking up and thinking over the mystery of how he had teleported from one place to the other in the span of the night, he had gotten pretty bored. Deciding that he could just as well go back to the cafe, for really, wasn't that were all the action happened, he had began to make his way through the big halls of the castle.


After a few run-ins with some suspicious looking guards, he had finally managed to scamper his way to the portal room. And now, here he was, spat out of the thin air and almost stumbling over his own feet.


The imp began walking in the general direction of the cafe, his hands still stuffed inside his jeans pockets. He was just about to look up, when he crashed, horns first, into something soft. Letting out a squeak of surprise, he stumbled backwards, gripping his head, before looking up in shock.


"A-Akira?"

Ase sighed as Marie bolted after the girl , it would probably be best to follow suit. She sealed the bottle and placed it back on the shelf before following after her. She made her way casually down the street until she seen Mari hit the ground "Marie!" Ase shouted now moving quickly towards the girl.

Akira kept running even though she heard Maria 'She'll just yell at me more, she hates me. Why was I even born I only ever bring everyone misery!' she wasn't watching where she was goin when she bumped into someone she heard the voice of Oliver she fell to her knees crying pulling him to her in a hug "Oliver, Don't ever leave me please don't ever leave me, Please don't hate me." she repeated it over and over sobbing trying to find some sort of comfort from Oliver "Maria and Ase hate me, I've tried to befriend Maria but..but Ase is trying to ruin everything and..and" she hiccuped still crying not taking enough air in feeling light headed from her crying sounding heartbroken "Maria...Maria doesn't really want to be my friend and Ellie yelled at me then stormed off and I don't know why" she continued sobbing

Maria stirred slightly, her face ghastly pale as she took shallow breaths, running a slight fever.

The imp let out a sound of startled protest as he was suddenly forcefully pulled into an embrace, his yellow eyes wide with confused surprise. At first he thought the fairy had completely lost her mind, but then, as he listened to her sobbed explanations, and felt his rainbow clad shoulder begin to get wet with warm tears, he understood.


That didn't make the situation any less uncomfortable, though, and he awkwardly patted her head, trying to figure out what to say. "I'm not gonna leave," He told her, trying to give his words a reassuring tone, "Because I'm done with leaving. You know that, so you don't have to worry about it."


This, though, didn't seem to quell her leaking eyes and Oliver suddenly felt his heart break just a little bit as he watched her shaking shoulders, "I'm not gonna hate you either. That's just stupid." He added lamely, continuing to pet her head, hoping it would have some sort of effect.

Akira hiccuped at Oliver's words. "But being around me just brings misery and death. Look at Alexander he got corrupted because of me, Father and Mother both died because of me. I'm a horrible person how can you not hate me?" she sounded scared, sad and lost as she clung to Oliver.

Oliver's eyes flashed with sudden anger, and it confused him, because it wasn't directed at Akira. Or himself for that matter. With one swift motion, he had her knocked to the asphalt, him sitting on her stomach, frowning down at her, "I'm not getting off until you get this through your head," He hissed, cutting off her startled exclamation, his button nose only inches away from hers as he glared down at her, "You always tell me not to put myself down, that I'm better than what I've been told," Oliver could feel a dog like growl rise up in his chest, but this time he didn't force it to go away, and the rumbling sound of it began to echo of the brick-walls of the alleyway.


"But now you're doing it to yourself, and it pisses me off!" He told her, his voice even, not even rising one octave, "You're not 'lowed to do that! I won't let you! You say you only bring about misery, but you gave me a home and a family! Before you forced yourself into my life, I didn't know what those two words even meant, 'Kira!"


The imps horns ignited, the strong emotions now coursing through him sending them into flame as he continued staring down at the woman he had now began thinking of as a sister, "So don't you go tearing yourself apart, because if you do, I'm going to sit on you until you fucking stop. You know I will, because I did it before."

Ellie stepped from outside of the bathroom, walking back down to the cafe. She started looking around for Vinny, fiddling with the hem of her dress nervously.

Akira's eyes widened as she listened to Oliver her tears had stopped half way through his little speech only a sniffle, hiccup or two now. A small smile appeared on her lips her voice hoarse as she spoke "Thank you Oliver. You're such a sweet brother" her eyes shone with happiness even with the tears that pricked the corners. "I'm sorry, I guess I really need to take my own advice my own words don't I?" she gave a slight giggle at that. Not far off the same figures that had been following her stood enraged their chance to strike was now gone because she ran into Oliver.


Akira smiled slightly "Anyways why are you here? Shouldn't you be at the castle or cafe?"

"You may be a crazy, bipolar sister," Oliver murmured, as he straightened, getting out of her face, "But your my crazy, bipolar sister, and I'm not going to let anyone hurt you. Not even yourself. You better remember that, the next time you want to start saying stupid things." The imp got off of her, after one hesitant glance, making sure she was done having her panic attack. His horns stopped their burning, and his growl quieted.


"I haven't really gotten the hang of the portals yet," He murmured in response to her second question, "So I tend to miss the destination sometimes."

Vincent looked up from his spot on the couch as Ellie exited the bathroom, placing the book he had been reading in his lap, "Hey," He called out, getting her attention, smiling when she looked at him, "You ready to head downstairs? Have you even eaten yet?"

Akira smiled standing up and giving Oliver a hug "I won't let anyone hurt you either Oliver" she spoke softly "You're my little brother, I won't let anyone touch you or disrespect you!" She gave his head a slight pat before pulling away "Also I used to have the same problem with portals." she smiled brightly "Eventually it gets easier to use for locations you go to regularly. I could put presets in the portal for you so you can get around easier. I'll put in Alexander's castle and the cafe later." she sighed sadly when she spoke of the cafe


"I don't think I can go back. I don't know where to go anymore."

"Course you can," Oliver scoffed, looking up at her like she was mad, "You're the assistant manager, aren't you? You're basically the one who's s'posed to be in charge when Buckley's not around. What happened in there, anyway? You said something about Maria and Ase?" He questioned, leaning himself against the wall, crossing his arms over his chest while looking up at her expectantly.

Akira sighed "Ase..Ase was there going at me for me trying to befriend Maria and was trash talking you, she even went so far as to insult..insult your mother. I was furious seeing red, I was about to slap her when Maria came in. Maria yelled at us I told her what was going on and said she was too good for Ase that she was a saint and She brought up Alexander, brought up how Alex treated me in the past, I've blamed myself for Alex for so long and she had to bring up his corruption" her breath hitched as the tears started to gather again "She was defending Ase, No one ever stops Ase and she..she almost killed you before, shes always insulting you. I want to KILL her!" she screeched her arms wrapping around herself her eyes wild in anger, fear, pain.

The imp frowned, rubbing at his left arm awkwardly, not really knowing what to say. "What..." He began, looking up at her, his eyes filled with a mixture of uncomfortable curiosity, "What did Ase say about my mother, Akira?"

Akira glared at the air "She said your mother was either a whore or desperate to mate with a Hellhound" she seethed as she clenched her fists @Cryobionic

"She wasn't wrong..." Oliver murmured, his yellow eyes now downcast, shoulders slumped, a long forgotten feeling of shame welling up within him. Blinking furiously, he looked up again, all traces of his sudden uneasiness gone, "You cannot take what either of them said about you to heart," He said sternly, grabbing her hand, "Maria's pregnant, and pregnant ladies often act out on ways they don't mean. I've read about it. Ase is just acting like any other with experience with imps would, so what she said about me is to be expected, really. Besides," He shot her a grin, beginning to lead her back in the direction of the cafe, "If you kill her, who will I have to dump apple martinis on?"

Akira grinned slightly at what Oliver said "If she ever touches you again though I will make sure she suffers before she dies" she said coldly. "I don't care what experience she has had with imps either, it gives her no right to trash someone for their race, she sickens me." she scowled before she schooled her expression back to normal sighing. She smiled "Oh.. also Maria was calling me when I ran. Probably to yell at me more" she said with a sigh "I guess I must have outrun her though because she stopped yelling after awhile."

"Yeah but..." Oliver turned to face her, looking up at her with an unreadable expression on his freckled face, "That's the way imps are treated everywhere, Akira." He murmured, wanting to make her understand, "She's not acting out of line, or even trashing my race, it's just the way things are. I grew up with the knowledge that my race was an inferior one, and Ase probably grew up with the knowledge that imps are disgusting creatures that doesn't mean nothing." He tried to explain, his face twisting into a thoughtful expression as he struggled to find an example the sheltered fairy could understand, "And she's not wrong for thinking so, it's like... humans training dancing monkeys to do their bidding. Humans have always found convenient ways to do things for themselves, and demons are no exception, imps are like the dancing monkeys of the demon realm."


Letting out a sigh, knowing that his example was a stupid one, he decided to just let the matter go, "Let's just get back to the cafe, alright?" He smiled faintly, grabbing her hand again.

Akira sighed figuring it was no use arguing about it with Oliver. She nodded following Oliver "Oh, did you sleep well last night?" she asked smiling @Cryobionic

"I did," Oliver replied, smiling a slightly, before remembering the strange circumstances surrounding his awakening that morning, "Only... I fell asleep in the closet, and when I woke up I was in my bed. It was strange, and I've never sleep walked before..." He trailed off, looking up at her, "D'ya think I might have sleep walked?"
