Katashi And Akemi
Akemi sat at the very back of the class alone. She is listening to her music through some wireless earbuds. She has found that the music in this generation are quite good! Well, the ones that she listens to. She knows there are terrible genres... Katashi sat in another chair by Kagami. He's made friends! Katashi sat there waiting for something to do. He is excited to learn and or fight.

Luxor and Christina

Luxor listened to Cicero's ability to rebuild any part of the school. That meant more money going to the school rather than paying for damages." Thanks Cicero. You have my gratitude." He did have high hopes that their relationship would improve. Hundun had been on his best behavior recently and could influence Ryo to be the same. It would be a challenge but not impossible.

"I'm kind of new. I mean...I've been here for a month. I was the one who gave you a can of tuna... ya..let me just shut up." Christina lowered her voice as she continued to speak to the small creature. She paused for a moment . The witch began speak to again but stopped as she saw Cicero begin to vanished into a bright ball of light.
~~
"That is really bright!" She raised her right arm to block the light from the vortex. Of course, the archangel was unaffected by the brightness. Luxor turned to the new arrival. He felt the slight dark aura from the way the white haired man smiled. That wasn't exactly unusual from him. " Understandable. They are certianly troublesome." Luxor said, giving Samson a slight apologetic look. The Thrones were a epitome of sin as well as one many students to get dozen reports on his desk.

Christina narrowed her eyes slightly. She liked Samson and all, but he gave her the hibby jibbies."I'm going to get my class ready for today." Christina said, wanting to return to her dark security of her room. She had a whole lesson about summoning that needed to be planned out. Christina brushed her fingers through her pale blonde hair and with a snap of the finger she was gone.

Cicero ~ Assistant Monster Teacher
  • (Location: Luxor Academy, Monster Hunting 101)(Mood: Determined.)
    (Interactions: Monster Hunting Class 101)
    (Mentions: ??? )

One by one, Students continued to pile into the decently-sized room before taking a random seat of their choosing. Inquisitive pupils of all shapes, sizes, and origins patiently kept their eyes glued on Cicero whom at the time was filing all of the paperwork on his desk, frequently checking on the scholars at intervals which made a few a bit nervous of the intentions that this brand-new teacher held and what mysteries he had in store for them. Decorative chandeliers hanging above their heads aimlessly drifted from the wind, the whistling breeze wandered throughout the room, flowing in from the opened windows to their right and caressing those unprepared with a chilling touch that induced strands of hair to stand on end. Cicero's class looked-on in a muffled room surrounded only by their thoughts and apprehensive worries, for those not familiar this was a significant change opposed to their everyday life but one they'd eventually get used to in due time.
    4ae8bb98eb53a52195c7b09b23bf957a-d9cfgro.jpg

Upon further investigation Monster Hunting 101 stood out from a regular classroom. Benches instead of chairs, Expensive decal, and a marble-floor that meagerly reflected the scenery. For those just arriving to Luxor Academy, bearing witness to such a sight was jaw-dropping! This must've been one of the richest schools they've ever been to! Making them ultimately wonder about why they haven't heard of this place sooner.
Cicero felt some relief at noticing some distinguishable faces from the sea of students crowded around including Kagami, a year two student known for having a remarkable skill over 'Vrykolakas' otherwise known as vampirism, a unique 'disease' that infected the host with a set of supernatural abilities that vastly improved conditioning and making them stand out from the ordinary human counterparts although this strange ailment requires the user to sustain themselves with blood and gives them unnatural weaknesses that most humans aren't effected by. Lastly there was Aiko, in all honesty he was unsure about this young creature, she seemed to resemble an android of some sort but was still different from than your regular automaton due to the powers she had been given. Cicero believed that she was some kind of extraterrestrial of some sort, or a creation that was manufactured by an intelligence far greater than what this world had to offer. Nevertheless, Cicero was impressed at this year's line-up and in all honesty it was probably one of the most promising batch of students he'd ever come across when it came to those that stood out from the regular crowd. "Heh, i'm frankly astounded! I have never seen anything like you five before." Cicero leaned his body over his desk, giving an obvious stare at those who mentioned. "As for the rest of you, i'm sure you'll do wonderfully." He cleared his throat, removing his rear-end from the homely cantilever chair from behind his desk before moving himself to the front of the polished desk while reading off a list of names of all the students and making sure that attendance was cleared. "Check.. Now that's out of the way! Welcome to Monster Hunting 101 Class as some of you already may know, my name is Cicero. I'll be substituting in for Hundun's position who would otherwise be your regular teacher for today but being the humble soul I am, I gave him a bit of a break." With that being said Cicero threw back the stapled sheets of attendance papers over his shoulder and leaned himself up against the border of the desk, crossing his arms comfortably while briefly summarizing the introduction of his class.

"You might be wondering why you're taking this class, alike any other it's to hone your skills as an individual and as a team. Stalking, Hunting, and Tracking are three of the main things that i'm looking for! It doesn't always matter if you catch the prey, what does is how you do and how practical it actually is. Some may feel that this isn't necessary but in truth this might actually save your life one day, or help another who is in need of the training you've learned here." Skepticism was felt in the atmosphere, a handful of students seemingly looked uninterested but Cicero knew that would change in the long-run. Even if they were bored now, they'd have to do everything in the power just to survive the brutality this class had to offer to them, in spite of the lack of motivation by some there were a few that were just excited in generally, whether it be to exhibit their strengths or to improve! It was refreshing to see such optimism. "Let me make myself clear that this is to be taken seriously, you may act however as long as it doesn't jeopardize anyone's safety including your own. Two years ago a student had passed away in this very classroom after being fatally wounded on one of our trips, I do not wish for anymore accidents to happen again so i'd like for you to understand what's at risk here... Once class begins you'll all be equipped with an emergency panic button that'll contact Hundun or I for assistance but I doubt it'll come to that." Cicero stepped away from his workstation, nonchalantly walking up to Tobin in a leisure-stroll before halting in-front of him and looking down at him with a raised brow as if something was puzzling him about the student. "Tobin is it? I seem to can't get a reading on you.. Hm, i've guessed at everyone else's powers but yours? They're unclear to me... I'm interested to see what you can do. Anyways... Does anyone have a question before we begin?" Cicero said as he walked to the center of the classroom.

Delora listened intently as the professor talked. She jotted down some of his main points as he talked. She raised her hand, asking, “What will our lesson be over today, sir?”

Faraday was excited and nervous for what lay ahead. He hadn’t opened his notebook and was tapping his desk, his black claws clicking against the wood. Thankfully another student had asked the question which was on his mind. Hopefully it wasn’t too difficult.

The Gardens

A mix of frustration and aimless fury covered Judy's gaze the same way her bangs did. She was bound to get late for class and she knew so, but honestly, she couldn't care less about that right now. It was such a primordial cauldron of rage, a flame so unstable that even her, whose new existence had been forged from nothing more than hatred, contempt and curses, could not understand it. How could the presence or not presence of one.single.individual throw her in so easily disarray like this?! After centuries devoid of any emotions! That tree was lucky that Judith had no more scissors to throw at it, because it seemed as if anything could prompt her to lash out right now.

"What's gotten you so angry?"

Annnd someone hadn't gotten the memo.
The boy's sheer intromission had done it, with the woman instantly sending him a piercing glance, the crimson of her eyes burned with a plethora of hatred that made it almost seem as if they were actually burning. A lot of her hair had also instantly taken to defy gravity as Judy's gaze had met that of the newcomer's:

"It is none of your business and if you had the faintest self-preservation instinct you'd go be noSEY AT SOMEWHERE ElsE!!"

Huffing in anger, the Rusalka had moved away from him, stepping heavily as she went to encounter the tree she had assaulted earlier. With a satisfying 'thack' sound, Judith had pulled the pair of scissors from its bark, leaving a deep puncture wound where the tool had once been lodged.
After regaining her weapon back, the woman had been ready to head to a new location, especially before the other student said anything that would make her want to choke him where he was standing, but then he had done a commentary about the bagels... Judy could only turn back as she laughed at the teen's stupid assumption:

"Bagels you say?!", she kept laughing loudly, her expression now one of pure sadistic delight, "I crUSHED those peasant pastries below my boot without ever thinking twice! I don't take nicely to being misunderstood. Serves that lighthearted fool well~!!"

She had let out an amused giggle and then turned towards the exit, calling after him without looking back, with a soft tone of her voice that was very unlike the message:

"I'm leaving. You may choose to come if you want, but annoy me and you're dead. Rozumiesz?" (Understand?)

"Oh, apologies. I was dealing with the thrones."

Against common sense and biology laws, Judy's unbeating heart did, in fact, skip a beat.
Like magic, Samson's voice had drained the woman of any confidence she had been showing thus far, causing Judith to panic and duck behind the first object she saw that could serve as cover. Oh nooo, or, oh yes! Ahhhhhh, it was so complicated! What should she do? Go there? Nooooooo, what would she say?! That was too embarrassing!!!! Oh no, she hoped the survival teacher had been too busy with the headmaster to notice her presence!!

While the two staff members had conversed to each other, the love-stricken Rusalka couldn't help but constantly peek from her hiding stop, stealing glances of Samson in all his brilliant, inspiring, flawless, slightly threatening glory. Ahhh~! He really was something else~~

Judy had completely forgotten that there was another student near her in the vicinity at this point.

Lu/Ciel
Location: Luxor/Monster Hunting 101/LATE AS FUCK.
After the opening ceremony the two had pretty much just wandered around a little to try and familiarize themselves with the school-grounds. They had seen several interesting students they'd likely talk to at some point but for now Ciel insisted that they try and get good at navigating the school. Which...resulted in them ending up lost. "Dammit Ciel this is your fault you know that?" Lu whined, sighing heavily. "How is it my fault?" He questioned, arching a brow. "You're the one that can't read the map." He pointed out. She glared up at him, "'Cause if you hadn't of put me up to this we wouldn't of gotten lost!" She shouted. "...Besides that why doesn't this dumb school have some kind of tour thing? It's so freaking huge they should.." She said, pouting a bit. "Annd aside from that if you're so good at maps why didn't YOU read the map?" She asked, forcing the map to his chest. Ciel chuckled, "You never asked me too. Last I checked the one time you did ask you said 'I can do it myself!' and proceeded to get us lost." He countered, smirking at the girl. Lu narrowed her gaze and stared intently at him for a few minutes before huffing. What could she say, it was true.

The demon man looked at the map for a few moments before humming softly, looking at a nearby clock shortly after. "Wait...aren't we supposed to be in class now?" He asked. Lu blinked, bringing out the schedule, eyes going wide as she noted the time. "We are! We're super late too...well...not too late I guess.." She stated, panicking a little. "Come on lets go, it's this way." That said Ciel led the pair to the class-room, where of course most everyone had already gathered. They silently, or as silently as possible, walked into the room. Of course it was really surprising to them both how beautifully decorated the room was for a class room, though not entirely unexpected going by the rest of the school. However still...it was just a mere class room, and not really a room of importance. To spend this amount of money on such a simple room...they had to be very well off. Which made them wonder just how and why they were admitted.

They sat in the back just in time to hear Cicero ask what questions the students had, if any. Lu timidly raised her hand, "I do...I uh...what did you say before that...basically everything..?" She asked. Ciel stared in disbelief. So much for stealthily sneaking into class, eh?

Kagami Enoshima- Monster Hunting 101

She remebered the small text that was on her acceptance letter. The school was not responsible for death. That reminded Kagami would to make sure her kept heart beating.
The red eyed girl look back and forth at her newly made friends. " I hope we get to stick together. We would make a good team." She whispered. "And maybe keep each other from being killed."Unlike other vampires, Kagami couldn't be killed by some ordinary piece of wood. It had to be ehcanted to cause her some serious damage. That didn't deter from the fact that she could die if her head got chopped off or if her heart was ripped out of her chest. Kagami made a small groan of disgust as she imagined the many ways she could die.Snapping out of her thoughts, Kagami looked to the back of classroom to get a look at the late students. The girl was adorable. Cute enough to bite. She was not actually going to bite her since it was expression rather than a thirst of blood. The boy next to her was cute as well. She wondered if the two were related due to their similar appearances She gave a small smile to the new arrivals and turned around to give Cicero her full attention.

Tarrare Tantalus
394b878a367769646e79cd91e7bcf789.jpg

Famine had been wandering around the school searching for Gluttony everywhere. But to no avail. So he rolled his eyes with enough attitude to piss off the Pope. Before Heading to the first class of the day. One of his personal favorites, monster hunting. His tongue felt across his jagged teeth. Licking them in place or the lips most people had. He could wait to sink his teeth into those fat, juicy, monster meat. His stomach roared in excitement at the idea, and as he contemplated how best to prepare the meal. He eventually decided he'd just eat it raw, after all manners didn't matter when on the hunt.

Before long his hunger had begun to rise. A sign he was close to making lunch out of one of the students. He should have eaten, or taken some of the potion he had been given. But he was more concerned with finding his lovely tart Gluttony. He fantasized about her luscious curves, her delicate lips, and finally her appetite. The thing that made him love her most of all. Anyone who could appreciate food on the same level as him was great in his eyes.

Tarrare stopped at the classroom door. It seemed two others had also just made it. Of course unlike him, they were students. Tartare did this mostly to pass time between cooking, resting, and his other hobbies. He observed the tardy students, his eyes scanning over them. Although his presence would be undetectable as he stood there. The smell of fresh meat had only increased his hunger. Sending his growing hunger skyrocketing. Suddenly his pupils shrunk, and he went full predator mode. He walked past the students in his way. So silent, swift, and without presence that he'd easily pass them without being noticed. He spotted the teacher, and slowly approached him from behind. Slightly salivating as he got closer. He was so close to going on a massacre. But he was restraining himself, even if his attempts were currently failing.

Samson Hearts

Samson chuckled at Luxors response. "Oh no really. They were no trouble at all, " He lied. "Just excited about my class is all. Speak of which, I do look forward to another year of teaching. I hope I don't get anymore complaints though. I shall not go easy on any student no matter who they might be. It's my job to make sure they're prepared after all." He said with a stern expression on his face, almost as if he was scolding Luxor. His eyes widened and he blinked a few times, clearly surprised by his own attitude. "Oh, I do apologize Luxor. I wasn't trying to snap at you or anything. I'm just so passionate about my students. I should be going soon. I'll be seeing you then. "

With that he walked way, waving at Luxor as he was seemingly going to walk straight into a wall. But he vanished just before reaching it. Suddenly a hand would be felt tapping on Judy's shoulder from behind. "Hey.... What are we looking at? "
A suspiciously familiar voice asked from behind Judy, with his normal award winning smile. "You know, you really should be getting to class. Otherwise you'll get in trouble, and we wouldn't want that now would we? "He gave her a somewhat mischievous laugh, giving her what was basically a pet on the head.

Aiko paid no attention to the late coming students. She clasped the edge of the beige paper and flipped the page to continue reading the next page. She didn't really need this course being able to defend herself without doing much of anything really but Kagami was here so she decided to just join in on her for Kagami's protection. She kept track of all the possible threats subconsciously as she continued reading her book. She of course was listening to the teacher however distracted she looks.

Katashi listens to the teacher, he knew he is in charge of if he lives or dies and nobody can be blamed. Akemi on the other hand isn't. She's ignoring what the teacher is saying because she isn't scared of anything and already knows how to fight... A man dressed in black armor entered the room. He held a rifle and had a sidearm to his hip. The sound of high heels hitting the hard school floor gets closer and closer, until a paleish woman in military dress stood at the front of the class. Making the girls asked question void... "Hello students. I am Elena Anderson. The academy's lead security officer. Along with rescue... Now. You might be asking why does this academy need security." she paces back and forth. "Well... It doesn't, but the city a little ways out does. You see... Me and my security firm are here to make sure you ALL stay in line, and don't go crazy and start attacking people. And YOU YOUNG LADY BETTER TAKE THOSE DAMN EARBUDS OUT BEFORE I COME OVER THERE AND YANK THEM OUT MYSELF!" she shouts and points at akemi who listened like a well trained dog. Elena is also watching Akemi more so... "Ahem... We also lead the recovery teams, for when students don't return from hunts. Those who wish to join will have to ask luxor himself. We might. Just might, allow some students to assist in recovery efforts if need be" she stated. Katashi galces at the girl the security officer screamed at. Akemi was blushing and keeping her head down. "Now.. I will be taking questions as well!....Sorry Cicero" she said with a blankish face. She kinda just stole the show.

Cicero ~ Assistant Monster Teacher
  • (Location: Luxor Academy Forest)(Mood: Relaxed)
    (Interactions: Monster Hunting Class 101)
    (Mentions: ??? )

Looking around, Cicero patiently selects a handful of students asking questions although trying to pick one at a time in an organized fashion as to swiftly and accurately answer each question being introduced even if it regarded things completely off-topic such as when they'd be having lunch or asking the professor about himself like his experience teaching at Luxor Academy, Specialties including powers, or just miscellaneous queries that pertained to him. "Ha, inquisitive I see. I am a Psionics user, a very experienced one not to toot my own 'horn'! You'll get to see my abilities soon enough." Letting out a quick giggle at the curious pupils, Cicero gave a flashing smile to those arriving late as to not worry them too much considering today was simply a beginning to the course at hand. Unlike Hundun who was primarily in-charge of the classroom moreover establishing restricting guidelines that involved not eating unless told, interrupting, and anything that just pissed off the grumpy man, Cicero was a more lenient instructor that gave his students a little freedom time to time but still keeping an eye on trouble-makers, often being dismissive of them after getting 'puppy-dog' eyes from them being sometimes gullible to those underneath his instruction.

"Ah, don't worry..Today was just a prelude to our studies so you made it just in time. I just mention what we might be doing in the future events to come, if you're a bit concerned all of you can read through the pamphlets located on the face of your desks." Concluding his last question Cicero promptly felt a tingling sensation in the ambiance around him, increasing in intensity as the time passed forward until it became unbearable to stand causing Cicero's brow to furrow and confront the source of this ghastly 'odor'. Columns of honed fangs aligned a beam on the individual's face in-front of him, filling his imagery of the drooling threatening figure was Luxor Academy's finest chef otherwise regarded as Tarrare Tantalus who was recently hired and assigned to prepare extraordinary meals for the students and teachers during lunch period, in spite of being an unpleasant sight to look at he was actually well received as being an excellent cook by Cicero. "My, Tarrare... Aren't you blessed with padded feet! Barely noticed you if it weren't for that rumbling in your stomach." Suppressing his annoyance for being snuck up on, Cicero was slightly impressed by the aptitude of this mysterious chef who crept along through without even being noticed by anyone except for Cicero who only noticed him once he was in a six to eight foot radius of him furthermore being distressed at the idea of having someone with stalking skills far surpassing his own. "Odd, I thought you'd be in the cafeteria after all food will be served right after we're done with first period but i'm sure a chef such as yourself has already prepared for this! Feel free to stay Tarrare, i'm sure our splendid class doesn't mind."

He stated, believing that having a second-hand to assist him for now would prove to be useful. Straightaway Cicero's expression flourished with displeasure as he shot an impatient glare at various heavily equipped soldiers tromping into the room making him believe this was a part of Lyssa's shenanigans until he quietly observed a uniquely dressed woman parading a onyx-hued coat weave between the line of armed guards, giving off a brief presentation of who she was and the band of soldiers unintentionally scaring students. "You're quite alright, she can have those earbuds for now until next time." Cicero couldn't exactly remember who these people were, all he knew was Luxor hired them for extra protection which was odd knowing the teachers were entirely capable of snatching students up by themselves but then again it must've been demanded by Edenia's government, after all they wouldn't want some supernatural psychopaths trying to create mayhem for innocent bystanders even though Ryo was doing that by himself. "Elena, I wish you would've done this at a more... Appropriate time." He sighed, clearing his throat momentarily before speaking to Elena. "I do understand you have orders, so I accept this apology. You and your guards may stay if you so choose but please do not interrupt the lesson, if it were Hundun teaching i'm sure this conversation we're having wouldn't be so pleasant." Cicero stated, warning Elena about the furious temperament of the current monster hunting professor before carrying on with the lesson. Not wanting to be interrupted again, Cicero immediately snapped his fingers which made the four inside walls of the room collapse to the ground, revealing a new scenery beyond them.

    29072016_ruin.jpg

Winds howled through the tops of trees while small critters scampered atop the trunks, beautiful sounds of exotic animals enveloped the minds of students as Cicero straightened his tie, gesturing his arm to the new environment showed to them. "Welcome to Luxor Academy's forest! I brought all of you here to give you something more practical, an exercise to get you all amped for the future ahead! Most of our lessons do not require essays or anything as trivial but instead something more hands-on. So i've given you all a fun little test, you will not be graded but a the end there is a prize of your choosing! Today you will all be hunting chickens." Never in all of their lives did they think they'd be hunting chickens of all things, some students even chuckled at the idea thinking that it was some sort of joke but little did they know it wasn't. "Do not worry, things will get a lot more interesting in the future lessons but as of now you'll be chasing these chickens but not ordinary ones! Ones created by my mind, real illusions that can actually hurt you if they peck you. Upon killing one of these creatures they'll award you with a small crystal ball, collect as many as these as you can and whomever has the most at the end will win the prize! Remember to sneak up on them, these chickens are a lot faster than you think! Now, any other questions before we begin our little competition?" Cicero was eager to begin the lesson! There sure were a lot of unique powers that had yet to be seen.

Katashi, Akmei and Elena
Illusion forest/Monster hunting 101

Elena didn't have the time to leave before she and her two guards were caught in his illusion. The guards stuck to protocol and took defensive stances near Elena. Even elena had her weapons drawn. Never know if the chickens will get horse sized and start breathing fire with eye lasers... Ahem. They didn't shoot any chickens. Just stood there in their own little spot away from the group of kids. Akemi facepalms. Why chickens? Goblins would have worked too... She shrugs and drew her sword, then stealthily kills three chickens using her speed and light feet to her advantage..Taking the crystal balls and putting them into her pack, then goes for more... Katashis demon side comes to life and he starts to catch fire. Luckily his clothes didn't burn. He killed five that were in a small group with a small fire bomb. Cooking them all alive. He laughs and looks at the charred remains of said chickens. Hes a bit hungry now, he continues hunting for chickens..Elena and her guards keep stepping away from the group until they were at a safe distance away from the group now.

Class was interesting. People could arrive late, people could destroy the people's concentration with ideas of student recovery, and interesting beings could attempt to feed off of the teacher. Partly it was funny to Tobin, and he only watched in amusement as the monstrous looking person tried to eat Cicero but failed. It was also kinda amusing how Cicero seemed to have a sensical understanding of everyone's ability but Tobin's. He decided not to comment on it, partly because he had none. Tobin, the great mastermind, a mundane human, performing at levels seen only with the supernatural! It was a dream come true, and Tobin decided he would wait until the optimal time to reveal it.
But everything else was plain annoying. Arriving late and destroying concentration was not something that Tobin liked. Both disrupted Tobin's rare flow of energy for work, and could really damper his performance. No matter, the disruptance today didn't do too much harm. All it did was make Tobin space out until suddenly the walls fell and Cicero announced there would be chickens trying to kill them.
"Why the hell chickens?" Tobin asked, voicing many of the students' opinions. He didn't wait for an answer, as he suddenly realized he was ill-prepared. His suitcase only had enough parts to create five turrets, and the gun on Tobin's belt often malfunctioned (read: Tobin doesn't know how to shoot) and Tobin would be at risk of shooting himself.
"I don't assume I can go back to get my stuff," Tobin mumbled to himself, then dropped to the ground, opening up his suitcase and frantically began to assemble.
All of Tobin's stuff was made to be easily assembled, with necessary parts attachable and less important parts detachable depending on the situation. A screen at the hood of the suitcase held all of Tobin's codes, which he could quickly implement onto the machines.
The fact that they were hunting chickens was a severe disadvantage to Tobin. First of all, Tobin didn't have his full potential available to him. Second of all, Tobin was a defensive person. He wanted people to come at him, not for him to come at them. So, therefore, Tobin decided he would have to figure out a way for the chickens to come at him.
Done with the turret, Tobin stood up and closed his suitcase. It was a simple but powerful turret, taking the form of a tripod with an SMG barrel mounted on it, able to swivel around towards any movement. A sensor that detected Tobin prevented the gun from actually hitting Tobin.
As Tobin ran awkwardly to a position away from the others, he deployed the tripod turret, and immediately, it began to give off a horrid, screeching mating call, meant to call for the hearts of the chickens and to bring them to a quick demise. Though for a moment, Tobin wondered if it would scare off all the chickens or attract them. Only time would tell. Tobin sat down on the ground near the turret, waiting to see if any chickens arrive.
For the people that couldn't see the turret, all they would be able to hear would be the horrifying and devastatingly loud cry of a nonexistant mating call.

Aiko sat on a root of tree uninterested. Depending on how Kagami reacts, she will follow. So if she wants to catch and kill those chickens, Aiko is more than willing to aid her do so. But until that decision is made, neither timelines can exist. She waited for Kagami while flipping a page and continuing her reading. The change in location didn't seem to surprise her. She was however slightly curious of the prize but the achievement is more of a side quest.

Kagami Enoshima- Monster Huntimg 101

Kagami shrugged off Elena as she went off on a rant. The girl seemed to be a superhuman. Her scent didn't seem as different as many of the other humans. That didn't make Kagami underestimate the girls capabilities.

Kagami was suprised how the walls fell, revealing a forest instead of the school. It was certianly magical. "Wow! This reminds of a game I played." Kagami exclaimed. She stood silently to listen to Cicero's instructions. The vampire turned her thoughts to how she was going to terminate the chickens. Her main weapon was scythe while her blood manipulation was her second choice of fighting. Kagami decided it would best to use blood projectiles on the speedy chickens. That would allow to stealthy kill targets from a hidden distance. The vampire brought her fingers up to her mouth then bite down on them. She drew her hand away from her fangs, allowing the small droplets of blood to slowly rise and harden into a spherical shape. "Blood manipulation. A perk of being a pureblood." She stated. Kagami flicked her hand at the tree infront of her, causing the floating beads of blood to quickly hit the bark of the tree. " It does not seem to be a partner assignment but anyone is welcomed to join me in the hunt." Kagami then skipped futher into the forest as Tobin's turret played the mating song of a chicken. She wasn't exactly aiming for the special prize. The sparkling red eyed girl just wanted to have fun.

Aiko Kirishima

Aiko closed her book once Kagami's mind was made up following her. She will be quite helpful to Kagami for killing chickens. She tugged on her shirt. "I'm coming." She said soft and monotonic as usual. She was fascinated to observer her blood manipulation powers. Of course She had not revealed what powers she had as she hadn't said a word and is as noticeable as a Lampshade. She left the group to be with Kagami.

Katashi and Akemi

forest/monster hunting 101

Katashi watches as tobin throws down a turret that gave off an annoying screech. He decides to follow Kagami and the semi-mute girl, Aiko. Anything to get away from the sound of that turret. "Coming with too Kagami!" he said. darting off after them. Akemi darts off into the opposite direction. Killing five more chickens as she runs. Elena and her guards follow Akemi. God knows how this illusion works. For all they knew, the forest is real.. LSRT have issues with extradimensional students and beings in general. They stop.. Realizing she's too fast to follow...(sorry for short, didn't know what else to add)

Delora almost sighed in annoyance at the assignment given by the professor. She put away the materials she had gotten out for the class and stood up. It didn't take her long to find one of the creatures that were doomed to be the prey of her and her classmates. In the most commanding voice she could muster, she looked the bastard straight in the eye and told it, "Come here." She pointed at her feet. "I know you can understand what I'm saying."
The creature tentatively approached her, eyeing her cautiously. When it finally closed the distance, she picked it up, cradling it in her arms like she would a child. It seemed alarmed at first, but she hushed it until it calmed down. When it finally believed it could trust her, she viciously snapped it's neck. It awarded her a crystal globe, small enough to fit in her hand.
When she found another chicken, it seemed to have wizened up to her tactic and it teleported away. She cursed under her breath. Caesar certainly wasn't going to make this easy. Deciding to pull out all the stops, she crouched down near the ground and evened her breathing. Taking one final deep inhale, she allowed the process of her transformation to begin. Although she had done it many times before, it always felt like she was letting a part of her loose, a deep primal instinct clawing it's way to the surface. Her skin began to itch as feathers started to emerge, her bones creaked and snapped painfully, joining back together in different forms and becoming lighter. She felt her skull elongate and her skin split open as two horns sprouted from her head. She felt her shoulder blades begin to ache as her wings started to form. When the change was complete, she released her breath (as you can likely imagine, breathing while your organs are all changing can add on quite a bit of pain to the whole ordeal). She kept low to the ground, prowling for another of her prey, making sure her taloned feet weren't making any noise.
A few minutes later, she found another one of the chickens. She had to restrain herself from pouncing on it and devouring it, as it would likely just disappear and she would have to find another. She must be tactful in this situation. She extended the shadows she was hiding in, hoping the chicken wouldn't be able to teleport out of them. Just before she snared the chicken, she felt a familiar feeling in the back of her mind. Opening her consciousness to it, she received a flash of a vision. So the chicken would be able to teleport out of it's restraints, but she now knew where it would teleport to. She continued her plan of trying to trap it, preparing herself to pounce on the spot where it would reappear. The chicken squawked as it was grabbed by the shadows, and teleported away. Right into her trap. She mauled the poor creature mercilessly as it reappeared. She gained another crystal ball as it died. She might actually have fun with this. Once it was dead, she went in search of more, repeating her procedure of tricking the beings into her clutches.

Faraday watched as the other students departed without the go-ahead from the professor. He raised his hand and put it back down quickly. Since the others were already on their way, he didn't want to fall behind and get a bad grade on the first day. He stood up slowly and trudged off into the forest. It didn't take too long for him to find one of the creatures he was charged with hunting. Remembering the professor's words, he got low to the ground, trying to avoid making any noise. Although his clothes limited his mobility to a certain extent, he crept up behind the feathery creature as quietly as he possibly could. He grabbed the small bird quickly, and before it could react, he filled it with enough electricity to kill it. As his lightning coursed through it's body, in his mind he could almost see it's every nerve light up as he fried them. He had experienced similar things before, but it was always a bit harrowing to feel something's body with his power and take it's life. He let go of the smoking corpse and it changed into one of the crystal spheres that were mentioned. He stood back up, going off in search for more.

Tarrare was close to snapping and indulging his ravenous appetite. But snapped out of it when Cicero noticed him. He was shocked at first, he knew the man was good, but very few could match his stalking skills, making him spotting him very impressive. His eyes widened simply because he was astounded, but quickly went back to their grumpy, annoyed glance when he found out his stomach gave him away. "Ah, excusez-moi, I did not mean to sneak up on you. I seem to have let my mind wander. It happens at times. "He informed Cicero bowing in apology. Tarrare wasn't technically lying about his mind wandering. Although it was more peer pressured into wander how Cicero tasted by its stomach, the rascally pest that it was. Tarrare gave Cicero a solemn nod, his eyes like daggers as he replied. "Ah, yes. You see I have prepared a fine banquet for the students today. I do hope they enjoy till they're unable to eat another bite, for fear of exploding. It is very nice to meet you all. I'm overjoyed to see both new, and old students. I always enjoy proving my talent as a chef, so I hope to impress you all. "Tarrare kept his Stoney expression. He had learned from experience that most people were more uncomfortable by his attempts as smiling, than they were his normal grouchy appearance.

Of course Tarrare didn't really get to say more, not that he had anything else to say, as some armoured people entered the class room. The fear of the weak never ceased. It seemed the city had hired some new manpower. Either that or these were the newest school uniforms.

Tarrare simply stood back silently watching all the happenings around him. When the classroom suddenly changed he couldn't say he was very shocked. At this school something like this was easy. He listened to the activity, chuckling after the orders were given, and the students sent off. "Ah, I remeber when I was but a petit garden, running about chasing the chickens who's heads had just been cut off by my Papa. " He sighed heavily as he recalled a time long past.

When the hunting began he watched in amusement as the students scrambled to catch their prey. Some faster than others, and some deploying odd machinery to do their dirty work for them. Tarrare turned to Cicero, holding a hand out as if he was holding a door open for the one eyed feline friend. "So, shall we go do some hinting of our own? I'm sure the students will be done on their own. It looks like quite the promising group this year. I especially find the garçon with the odd toys fascinating. I do hope he can last, this school is tough if you only rely on your wits, and gadgets. "

Akari Sen

Location: Monster Hunting 101 || Interacting with: - || Mentions: SidTheSkid SidTheSkid

"A supernatural school eh?" Sousuke eyed the application form, it was obvious he was hesitant to sign it. It was understandable. He doesn't know anything about it after all. Akari has slammed the papers down on his table while her adoptive father was polishing his personal stash of treasures. She had a wide grin on her face, excited to find treasures from their world. Ever since she found Muramasa in that cave, she couldn't stop piping about the supernaturals.

Sousuke couldn't help but mirror his daughter's smile, he was glad that she wanted to pursue something in her life and signed the forms. "Well, as long it will get your dumb ass smarter." Even if he got hit or was a target of flying objects, he couldn't help his teasing.

Akari was snoozing up a storm at the back of the lecture theatre. She was leaning back on the benches with her arms crossed and her head drooped slightly. A snot bubble already formed and followed her quiet breathing. It was only when her head subconsciously rolled to the back that her eyes shot open and the bubble popped. Her eyes were still in a daze as she recollected where she was. She doesn't even remember when she fell asleep. There were quite a few people in the class, but not at all what she expected. Where was the monster hunting when all the teacher in front did was talk? As if on queue, her unspoken question was answered. And her surroundings changed to one of a forest with ruins. She couldn't help but awe at the magic. She was still pretty new to all this, only having gained her powers just 6 months before.

For the first time since setting foot in the class, Akari listened attentively. Hands on kinda classes definitely suit her! Though she was visibly disappointed when the teacher said they would be hunting chickens. But a reward to the one who gets the most crystal things was enough to spur her on to action. She pulled her long brown locks up into a pony tail and secured it with a hair tie. Since this seemed like it was an individual assessment, Akari stuck to herself. Deciding introductions could be done later. Without another word, she sprinted off into the bushes to find her some magical chickens. Heeding the one-eyed teacher's advice, she hid within the bushes when she found three pecking at the green floor. She needed some sort of silent weapon to snipe them or something, but she didn't have any of the sort. Only a demon sword that let her manipulate hellfire secured at her hip. Which was definitely not inconspicuous.

She looked around her, the forest had plenty of resources indeed. Akari picked up a handful of pebbles and twigs, large enough to scare some chickens. She threw a pebble near them to observe their reaction. When the mysterious stone landed, rustling against the ground, it startled one chicken which led it to run away from the sudden noise. The other two following their friend. She silently moved to another spot so she was behind them, still hidden within the bushes. Akari threw three pebbles quickly and as high as she could so that they landed around the same time in a circular fashion around the chickens and herself. Like before, they ran from the source that was disturbing whatever they were doing, and making them run towards her.

Simultaneously pulling out her sword and jumping out from her hiding spot. The chickens could only cluck in surprise before they poofed into air from Muramasa's sharp blade and hellfire. Expertly sheathing it back to her hip, she picked up the three crystals with a smirk, throwing one up and down with a hand. "I wonder what the reward's gonna be."

Cicero ~ Assistant Monster Teacher
  • (Location: Luxor Academy Forest)(Mood: Entertained)
    (Interactions: Monster Hunting Class 101)
    (Mentions: ??? )

By the time Cicero was nearly finished explaining the rules a majority of the students had already grew bored, taking it upon themselves to go and decrease the chicken population one feathery fowl at a time which he simply shrugged off as eagerness for the hunt even if it involved shadowing a bunch of brainless animals for a good hour or two. Sitting himself on an old tree-stump nearby, Cicero thoroughly studied each of the students traits, techniques, and abilities as the chaos ensued around him. "Hm, I see. Oh, how interesting!" Preoccupied with jotting his notes down, he was completely distracted with his own work to be aware of the alarming dangers being flung across him like he were in the middle of a battlefield. Shrapnel from turrets kicked up some dirt a few feet away from him, only making him mumble a bit of profanity under his breathe because of the underbrush it was flinging onto the back of clipboard, fortunately the small tremors that were induced into the ground by the powerhouse students only made his rear-end bounce into the air for a few seconds before being planted back down onto the surface of the stump. Chickens rustled past his legs, squawking in a panicked frenzy as fireballs were hurled past causing Cicero to flick up a cigarette near the ground making the floating ball of fiery death light the very end of it, Cicero humorously gave off a grateful wave to whomever lost control of their pyrokinesis as he analyzed a few of the gifted pupils who were excelling marvelously, unlike most Tobin managed to lure a herd of chickens by setting up an odd gadget that slightly puzzled Cicero until it discharged a rather painful noise making it obvious of his ingenious plan.

Katashi on the other-hand went into a more direct approach with the litter, enabling a side of him which hasn't been seen as he caught the poor buggers on fire with a bunch of fire bombs, at-least the smell wasn't too horrendous! Suddenly arcs of lightning quaked the brush surrounding Cicero, provoking him to instinctively turn towards the opposite direction to observe chickens being electrocuted by Faraday's shocking powers! "That's one way of doing it..." He said, looking at a shadowy glimpse of Kagami taking a bite out of one of the creatures like it were an uncooked chicken nugget, Cicero was also impressed to see weapon-users like Akari Sen using their signature blades to dispatch of the critters even though it made for an ugly scene at the end. "Brilliant work everyone, you're all doing great." Perhaps too great, first-year students were actually surpassing his expectations by dwindling the numbers of enemies down from one-hundred or so to absolute zero, it was only a matter of ten to fifteen minutes and they've already covered the bed of the forest in a feathery blanket. Unfortunately for them there was twenty minutes of the first period to go and Cicero wasn't going to let them leave so easily. "Congratulations students, you all did it! All of you have done such a good job that i've decided to award you all instead of individually! Prepare yourselves, you've earned it!" Letting out a roar, Cicero edged himself off the timber stump before swinging back his heel and knocking the hunk of wood away from the cavernous hole underneath. With little time to draw up what their professor was actually doing, Cicero cheekily placed his hands inside his pockets and wandered off, whistling as an enormous man-eating spider scampered out from the hole, tearing apart large chunks off ground as it pulled itself out.

    ekTO8Jhh.jpg

Carnivorous-looking babies sprung off from the monstrosity in excitement, seeing such a large array of food quickly made the eight-legged freaks speed towards them with their fangs drawn in delight. "Oops." Cicero looked over his right shoulder with an amused glimmer in his eyes as he saw a glimpse of the pandemonium unfold before yelling back to them "Do try to have fun! I swear that i'll give you all real prizes at the end!" He was a unsure whether or not to feel bad for them or to be happy that they have something a bit more intimidating to fight instead of chickens, oh well! It was their problem now and not his. Walking in Tarrare's general direction, Cicero was amused to notice the grinning fellow spring out in a pose, offering to have a hunt of their own while the students were distracted with the living nightmares crawling behind them, seeing that he had a whole bunch of time to spare Cicero willingly accepted. "Of course, I do wish to see your hunting skills in action Tarrare... Lead the way if you may!"

Lu/Ciel
Location: Fuck you, Chickens/Monster Hunting 101/HOLY SHIT SPIDERS AHHH
Lu was rather relieved they hadn't missed anything important, and further relieved that Cicero wasn't mad. Truth be told the man looked somewhat intense and intimidating, despite him not actually doing anything to indicate such. She blinked as she saw, apparently the schools' chef? Sneak up on the teacher and act as if he was his next meal. "Uhh...-" She began, though didn't have time much after to speak before a literal small army waltzed into the room. She blinked a few times, slowly shrinking away from them. Who the heck were these people, why were they here? She subtly glanced to Ciel and wondered if, somehow, he had done something wrong and they were here after him. After all, he was the demon. Not her. Luckily the leader of the group soon explained the situation...though that didn't make her any less uneasy. She saw no reason for an official security group to be here either. She was already a little wary of people. Guards? Yeah they sort of pinged all of her 'Get the hell out now' signals after several bad run-ins in various towns.

Nonetheless, that whole ordeal over and sorted by Cicero, she focused on the fact they were warped to the forest. Her eyes went wide, the petite girl in awe of the magic. For the most part, most magic she wasn't aware of. So she was a bit amazed by....almost everything, really. Ciel chuckled, while it was rather impressive, he wasn't entirely freaking out like Lu was. That said, he didn't say anything against it and just let her have her fun. Both would listen to Cicero as he explained the challenge, neither really have questions. It seemed simple. Kill chicken, get orb, get prize. That said, Lu sort of sat back. "This is all you Ciel." She spoke, Ciel arching a brow. "Why me?" He asked. "'Cause you're the one with a gun." She pointed out. CIel sighed heavily, drawing the rifle from his back. "..I guess you're right." He said, starting to take aim and fire at the chickens. "Why the hell are they so fast?!" He shouted to himself.

By the time the chicken portion of the test was over he had killed a grand total of fifteen chickens and nearly shot Lu and the rest of the students about the same amount. "...We need to work on your aim." Lu spoke. "Next time you try. They moved too damn fast...wouldn't matter if I was a master marksman, they still would of been hard to shoot." He said. Lu shrugged, "Sure.." She said. Luckily according to their rather benevolent teacher they'd all get a prize...and that prize was in the form of giant man eating spiders. "WHAT THE HELL!?" Lu squealed, immediately standing to run away from the spider. Ciel did the same, however he had retreated to a more advantageous spot to begin picking off the giant spiders babies. Lu on the other hand had quickly scaled the nearest tree to avoid the spider apocalypse. "THIS IS NOT A GOOD PRIZE!" She squealed, the girls' eyes going wide at all the spiders.

Tarrare Tantalus

Tantalus looked pleased at Cicero's response. So he left the students to their "prize" Almost jealous of the man eating spiders. He only hoped the furry arachnids wouldn't eat any of the students. That would hurt his food supply greatly. "Hoihoihoi, très bien Monsieur. Let us go deeper into the woods, so we don't interfere with the others shall we?"
He suggested, making his way farther in the lush green forest, and away from the turbulent destructive sounds behind him.

He talked to Cicero as he walked, his arms crossed behind his back in a dignified manner. His every movement was silent, as if on mute. "So, tell me about yourself, that is if you'd be ever so ebliged to let a humble chef as myself know a little about yourself. "He asked as they continued their path, seeming to pass the same tree's on several occasions." If you're worried about me telling someone something you don't want other to know. Then worry not, my mouth may be large, and full of razor sharp teeth. But I keep secrets like they were my own. "He said smiling, well at least with his eyes, a hint of amusement amongst the sincerity in his voice.

Delora approached Caesar when he began speaking to the class again. She had been having trouble finding more chickens, so she wasn't surprised when he said they all completed the assignment. Either all the chickens were gone or he made them disappear. She sat down as he said they would all be receiving prizes. That took a bit of the fun out of the lesson, as the competition asspect gave it a bit more of a challenge and almost seemed like a participation award, she didn't necessarily see it as bad. She tilted her head to the side in curiosity as he let out a shout and kicked over the stump he was sitting on, revealing a pit. And he simply walked off. He was a curious man, she'd give him that much. She could feel the ground tremble slightly as a large spider crawled from the depths of the earth, followed by many of it's brood of spiderlings.
Reacting on instinct, she raised her wings to make herself appear larger and more intimidating and began flicking her tail. She made a slight hissing sound and clicked her skull-like beak at the arachnid. It didn't seem to be that scared of her. She crouched low to the ground, preparing to attack the creature if needed. Considering the name of the class, it would be. She didn't know much about them, but she had learned that most spiders have a weak spot in the center of their mouths ((ooc: I researched the weak points of spiders, just in case you think I'm full of shit)). For once her mother's extensive collection of seemingly pointless knowledge might prove useful. Her family library wasn't known for being entertaining.
She inhaled, and screeched at the eight-legged monstrosity. At her command, shadows rose behind her, separating into large tendrils with sharpened points at their ends. The spider snapped it's chelicerae at her threateningly. She charged forward, hoping this would cause an opening to appear. Thankfully, this caused the creature to expose itself to her attack. She commanded the shadows to charge with her. They gained speed, passing her as she ran towards the beast and stabbed into it's vulnerable mouth. The creature recoiled, shrieking in pain. Delora howled her victory in wounding the monster. Her own inner beast wanted to fight more, running her long black tongue over her beak, but her more rational side decided it was best to let the other students have a chance, so she fell back, allowing the others to strike.

Faraday panicked when he saw the spiders emerge from the abyss. He scrabbled backwards a bit before regaining his composure. He was a bit startled as a large bird creature began to attack the largest spider. Deciding to follow one of the other student's example, he started attacking the smaller spiders, throwing lightning at as many as he could as small bolts arced around his arms, small sparks falling off of his body. He gathered his focus for a moment, preparing for something bigger. He gathered the electricity in his hand as it crackled and jumped between his fingers. He released the energy, making one large bolt that hit one of the small spiders, then jumping between them, frying their little bodies before rising into the air and striking the ground with enough force to create a small explosion. He felt a small bit of pride in seeing that move in action, as he'd never actually tested it. That pride didn't last long though, as more of the small spiders surged forward, replacing their fallen comrades with ease. This didn't seem to be going well.

Kagami Enoshima- Monster Hunting 101

"Alright darlings, let's hunt a lot of chickens." The vampire exclaimed as she lept into the air. Kagami noticed a chicken was close by. Her previous hunger from before caused her to pounce on the small bird and bite it. The deceased chicken changed into a orb then fell to the ground. " I got one." Kagami picked up the orb. She waved the orb in the air so she could show Katashi and Aiko. Suddenly, Kagami coughed up small white feathers . " I would think the feathers from the illusionary chicken would disappear along with the body." She said, wipping strands of feathers from her mouth.

Kagami eagerly turned around as Cicero announced that everyone will get a prize. Her eagerness turned to disgust as a large spider appeared."That was not the prize I was expecting." Spiders. One of the top things she did not like."Can someone kill it with fire." Kagami yelled to the others. She stumped on the smaller ones that start to creep on her. Kagami would like to stay away from the spider as far as possible but getting up to the spider would guarantee better damage. The vampire brought her fingers up to her already healed hand and bite down so she can draw more blood. She maneuvered her hand in the air to enable herself o draw a strange symbol. The blood sparkeled then compacted together to make a scythe.
