"I did a bad." xD hahaha. June won't forgive him right away, but she'll be too tired to say anything else about it, so she'll just accept it like "okay whatever leave me alone."


But when he buys her that pastry she'll actually forgive him then, since she really wanted it, and he actually noticed which actually managed to touch her a bit but she won't ever admit that.


I'm already starting to ship them xD

Nartai would try to make him buy her flowers as well but then he'd be like "I DON'T LIKE LIKE HER I JUST DON'T LIKE HURTING HER FEELINGS STAHP"


and when he does buy her flowers after some other royal comes over and is really nice to her and kisses her on the hand or whatever, he's like "IT'S NOT LIKE I LIKE YOU ARE OR ANYTHING BAKA"


Just denying it to the extreme because he swears he doesn't.

Pfft oh my goodness, it's insane how alike they are xD Because June would do the same thing if she were on the other side xD


AND YES. A royal should totally do that, I would love that. June wouldn't know what to do, she'd be so confused and be just like "uh uh uh thanks" and blush all awkwardly.


She should not be a princess OTL


June would just smirk when he gives her flowers and look up at him like "then why did you buy me flowers, baka?" xD

Pfft can you imagine them both dealing with feelings like "Mom mom what are these mom take them away from me MOM." And Naomi's like "They're going to make it easier in the long run gdi at least there's a higher probability that you two will have kids now" and he's like "WHAT IF SHE DOESN'T LIKE ME. MOM I DON'T LIKE THESE FEELINGS I FEEL ALL WEIRD AND NIECE AROUND HER."


That'll make them confessing a lot more sweeter and then getting ripped apart a whole bunch more painful lol.


I was thinking that perhaps the war isn't their two kingdoms fighting against each other? Like, June's home forms another alliance with a different kingdom much faster and that kingdom's like "oh no, Vanguard is very bad why would you ever send your daughter there because xyz" and they snatch June back and are like "lol naw Vanguard".


And then the third nation declares war on Vanguard because of xyz and they meet on the battlefield and pain.

Pfft ahahaha! I can so imagine that xD While June is just running around freaking out like her heads been cut off because she doesn't even have anyone to confide in and she's so confused xD Perhaps her and Auria could become friends, and she could end up confiding her?


Their way of dealing with their feelings is just like poking them with a stick and being like "wHAT ARE THESE GET THEM AWAY FROM ME NO."


It really will, I can't WAIT until they do I think they should confess that they have feelings for each other first so they actually have some time to properly date before actually saying that they love each other. At least they will have a little bit of happiness then before the gutwrenching heartbreak //sobs//


I like that idea I like that idea a lot. And after seeing Vanguard for herself, June would be the only one who knows they're not like that anymore and its actually a nice place, but her father won't listen and sends her onto the battlefield as well and they meet on the battlefield and PAIN SO MUCH PAIN.


My heart... it already hurts... T.T

Ooo yeah! June can befriend Auria and maybe hang out with the babies to figure it all out after she and Barrin get into a fight! Or get to know Casimir and Galene better!


( Yeah, Vanguard's used to be a very militaristic state. It had no council or Parliament and had several violent revolutions to overthrow the really bad governmental system a couple centuries ago, the most recent being nearly two centuries ago. At one point, they just shut their doors down because oh my god there was so much fighting and blood everywhere and they had to rebuild pretty much from the ground up.


The Primordials were never officially overthrown though they have considerably less power now. They only reopened their doors about a century ago so a lot of places are like "eeeeeh" about Vanguard still.

She will do both! xD But she'll definitely befriend Auria I think, since they seem alike in some ways and she loves babies :3 And perhaps one day she can try and help Galene with her gardening and go with her to see Casimir and bring him flowers :3 She'll want to get to know everyone better, but she just doesn't know how to go about doing it.


Oh wow. That's actually really sad June would feel really bad about making it so hard on them when/if she learns about this. Perhaps her father could tell her after she demands to know why she was snatched up and brought back home, and then she'll try and convince him its not like that anymore and he doesn't listen.


Baka father... >.<


Yeah, I can see that though. I can see June's father being that way too, but her mother would have convinced him to do the alliance. But since her father has the final say in things, when he hears that from the other country he snatches her back real quick like "uh uh no way not happening."

I'm sure Galene will make it very easy for June to get along with her. Perhaps July can come and mention "hey both of our names sound similar haha" and then she can meet Marceline. At one point, they're going to end up having to have June follow Raleigh around to see her future duties and I think that's when she'll really start to see Vanguard for what it is.


Pfft, I'm imagining the meeting on the battlefield and Barrin's like "alright, we can both run and not tell the others, yeah?" because he doesn't want to hurt her but doesn't want to watch his home fall either.

I'm sure she will too They can play pranks on Barrin together when shes feeling particularly angry with him. Like put honey in his shampoo xP hahaha.


Pfft June would laugh at that xD "we both have a whole month dedicated to ourselves how awesome are we" xD


And of course she will love Marceline. A cute little 3 year old, how can she not? xD


That will definitely be interesting. Her father is far more distant than Raleigh seems to be, so it'll bw interesting to have them interact and have June see what Vanguard is really like.


Ahaha, June would readily agree to that in a heartbeat xD


Buut in all seriousness though, how are they going to get out of that? Because neither will want to see their home fall, but neither will be able to hurt the other either. Perhaps they could run but to Etaleth so they could try and convince June's father to stop the war?

IDK how they're going to get out of it. :/ I would think Barrin wouldn't want to leave his regiment for long but realizes that if he takes June with him, that would be seen as a hostage situation and no he's not dealing with that. Perhaps in the end, someone gets captured from the Vanguardian royal family like Galene or Casimir and the rest are forced to show up at the castle of the third kingdom to surrender or something and death threats and bad times ensue?

Oh gosh, if any of them were captured, June would be so incredibly pissed. She'd be like "oh hell no" and punch the king of the third kingdom in the neck xD Not really, but you get the point.


That would definitely be a turning point though, and June's refusal to obey her father and her obvious affection for the royal family of Vanguard would seriously make him rethink things.


So yes, that sounds like a lovely idea xD

Actually, I do have an idea for the third kingdom :3 What about the name Elysian? I was thinking it could be a kingdom trying to attain peace and perfection, and is thought by the others to be a peaceful paradise. (hence the name) However, that's only how it looks from the outside, while within the kingdom there is a lot of division and tension. The new rise to power only made it worse, and the new King made some bad decisions (idk what i'm just brainstorming here). But instead of trying to fix them, he tried to cover them up, intent on making sure the Kingdom kept up its appearances. This only made things worse, and the King was forced to make an alliance with another kingdom to try and smooth things over and fix the growing chaos within its walls.


Again, feel free to add/take away anything, this is just a really rough idea I only just came up with.


And okay! I shall go take a look at it now I'm still working on Etaleths description, just so you know I haven't forgotten. Its just a lot -.-

Ooo, that sounds like an interesting idea! Perhaps it had some old Vanguardian families that eventually fled during the bloody revolutions and as a result, they spread the ideals that Vanguard is a very corrupt place and as a result, they heavily dislike Vanguard.


Perhaps the bad decisions include getting rid of a few of the inner circle of the old king and levying higher taxes to help pay for the military in preparation for a war so that he can "protect the people more". Or perhaps he raises the taxes for the poor more than the rich, or vice versa? He raises the taxes for the rich in order to make the poor happier, but the rich have more political power and are angry as a result.

I think those are both great ideas! He could get rid of a few of the inner circle of the old king and raise taxes for the rich to both help pay for the military, and to help the poor, however this of course angers the rich like you said, and since they have more political power, they could start to make it difficult for the king, which in turn affects the kingdom. Kind of like a domino affect.

I think in the end some of the royals get angry and make up their own regiment with their own loyal soldiers and are basically like "King do something or a coup will happen". Vanguard hasn't had good relations with Elysian and the two of them have had some rocky trading patterns. Perhaps after one noble gets snuffed at the ports for some reason (their price demand was too cheap, they were selling faulty merchandise, etc. etc.) they return angry.


Later on, a bunch of indignant nobles come back and in true medieval fashion challenge the merchant for his dignity in a fight. Barrin is like "This is my kingdom and no blood will be spilled over pointless arguments" and then the noble's like "Do you mock me, boy?"


And fighting. Barrin injures the person but doesn't want to kill him but the other royals are a bit peeved so there's a scuffle before they head off and there goes that war.


Or something along those lines.

June would just be watching and when the noble speaks so rudely to Barrin, she'd just step back like "oh he's gonna kick your butt now" and watch in amusement as Barrin takes the noble down so easily.

I didn't think about their symbol though... hmm. Perhaps something peaceful and paradise-like? I'm not sure, I'll have to think about it.


Although I did have an idea for right now. Maybe Auria and June could bump into Barrin while at the ports, perhaps because he had to run an errand of some sort? Then we could Barrin and June talk more and get to know each other a bit better and have some one on one time. Even if they don't want it. xP
