Fantasy Love Love Love! Quest

Greysen nodded at Lucius' plan, playing with the bladed part of the axe that was given to slaughter pigs with. It was more or less effective but worked either way. The axe's wooden handle had been stained with the blood of pigs and so where her hands that now shown a light pink tome even after washing them for who know how long. Followed by the dance, Greysen decided she would wear her general armor in the last battle that seemed to travel to this world with her but make it more feminine for her rather petite statcher. "I don't need to go to such places, I've already situated my costume. Also Izaria, try not to vomit too much on the ride there." Teasing Izaria knowing that it was one of her weaknesses, especially from the way she reacted the last time round. "I'll stay with Lucius to help for now." Looking over to him with a natural smile, something she'd been doing more often in this world than in Sofya.

Elle quietly walked over to Esther at the willow tree. "Umm Esther? Do you know where I can get a really pretty, formal dress for the dance? I need something that will look good if I attach flowers to it." Even though she didn't technically have a date to the dance she wanted to dress her best and her regular adventure clothes just wouldn't do. She needed to create all the beauty of the Faery Courts in her costume. "By the way this is a beautiful tree," Elle commented running her fingers over its bark. "It's very old and has I bet seen many things," she wanted to continue but thought it best to stop there so Esther didn't think she was too weird going on about a tree. Elle shifted nervously her thoughts going back to her costume and her need for the perfect dress.

@Rida

Isis, Daughter of Egypt:

Isis would not need to purchase a dress for herself, however it would be fun to go to the shopping centre to see their guests look for their outfits for the evening. In fact the dance gave the perfect chance for everyone to gather to attempt to send them home. She hoped it would work as her necklace had been giving her cryptic warnings if the way between their worlds remain conflicted because of their visitors.

She did not share any of these visions with the others as the plan was on track and looked like it would work. Shaking her head slightly, she looked down at her cup of chamomile tea and looked thoughtful. Once they went home she would return to Egypt. It was an interesting journey but then again how many people could say that they had experienced this.

She had sent a letter to a confidant about what had happened. She may need more power than she had and the only way to get more power is with another relic and the only person who had a relic like this was her brother Marik.

Esther Bellerose

Suddenly Mayella became articulate. "I got somethin' to say," she said.

Atticus raised his head. "Do you want to tell us what happened?" But she did not hear the compassion in his invitation.

"Umm, Esther? Do you know where I can get a really pretty, formal dress for the dance?"

Esther jumped at the sound of Ellowyn's voice, To Kill a Mockingbird flying into the air and landing on a branch above her. Eyeing where the book had landed, she stood on the tips of her toes, trying to retrieve it, but all her attempts were futile--the lofty branch sat just out of reach from her small frame. "Eh, I'll worry about it later." she resolved, focusing her attention on Elle. "Well, if you're just looking for a dress to attach flowers to, I happen to know a boutique that my cousin works at. She can give us a discount, so I'll probably be able to pay for it instead of forcing Theo to." Esther replied, looking back to the tree that Elle had just complimented, a look of melancholy replacing her happy expression. She sighed, slumping against the thieving willow. "It's hard to admire its beauty when it's holding your book hostage."

The chicken is baked.

Theo almost burst into laughter at the phrase, slapping his hand over his mouth to contain his amused snorts. Turning to face Izaria, Theo whipped out his phone and scrolled through his messages. "Looks like Mrs. Bellerose can give some of us a ride!" Theo exclaimed, giving Izaria a thumb up. Squinting as he looked back at his phone, Theo pursed his lips. "Ah, well, they can only fit five of us so the rest can hitch a ride with my chauffeur." Being the filthy rich kid he was, Theo had a chauffeur. Sure, he didn't use their services much but they could still drive the remaining two.

"Alright, so we only need to stick two people in the chauffeur's car." Nodding at Greysen, Theo glanced out the window to find Elle and Esther staring up at a tree. "Hey, Elle! You, Izaria, Takao, Aurora, and Isis." Frowning when no one replied, Theo jumped out the first story window and jogged over to the willow tree that seemed to hold all the answers to the universe. "What's going on? An Entmoot?" Laughing at his Lord of the Rings joke, Theo meandered up to the two girls, hands linked behind his head.

Looking up at the tree, Theo spotted what they were looking at; a poor little book stuck in a tree. "Oh, that's what we're looking at. How'd it even get up there?" Eyebrows shooting up in disbelief, Theo glanced between Elle and Esther. With a semi-smug expression slapped on his face, Theo reached up easily and snagged the book out from the branch's grasp. "How to Kill a Mockingbird, eh?" Theo held the book out for one of the girls to take it, obviously very proud that he did something without fate coming in and punching him in the gut.

"Anyway, speaking about seating arrangements for the ride," Theo continued, right in time with his little beat.

Lucius nods to Greysen, leading him toward the basement.
"What we'll need to do first is lay down - with pencils or pens or whatever we find - an outline of the sigil. Then we'll have to do the dirty work and move the microwaves into a loose decagon shape around it. Finally, we'll need to place the sacks of pig blood in the middle of the sigil." He pauses. "I'll have to wait until during the dance to actually draw the sigil, since after the blood dries it's less effective." Lucius slowly steps down the wooden steps, flipping up a light switch to reveal the school's basement with one hundred microwaves and a contraption plugged into the wall to turn them all on.

Takao Kieran: Hero of Sofya

Takao was planning this event all week. On top of the portal back home he was preparing for tonight..he wanted to take someone with him, and it was going to me Elle. Takao never really thought about her before such as this..but the weeks of working with her and getting to know who she really was. He wanted nothing more than to accompany her on this little soiree. Takao had his costume complete, the only thing still needed was to actually ask Elle to go with him. His head laid in the grass of the yard looking up at the cloud above. He had to act now. Standing up and brushing the dirt away from him, Takao walked toward the tree where everyone was, nervous as all hell. "Why am I so nervous about this..I'm a Hero..I shouldn't be nervous about asking a woman out to a party."

"Thanks for getting the book down Theo," Elle told him. She could have easily climbed the tree to get the book if she wasn't wearing a skirt, so it was a good thing he was around. "I'm ready to go to the mall whenever you guys are," she said stepping closer to Esther because she needed her help getting a dress. Elle felt that Esther was trust worthy and would understand the kind of gown she needed. She also hoped there would be enough time to attach the flowers she had picked earlier, to the dress before the dance started. Elle smiled when she saw Takao wander over to the group, he seemed to be hesitating a bit, "You look like you're on a mission Takao, is everything alright?" She was instantly concerned about their plan and the possible things that could go wrong. It was her job to help Takao succeed in defeating the Demon King and they couldn't do that here in this world so of course getting home was the most important thing right now.

Esther Bellerose

"My hero!" Esther sighed, placing a hand against her forehead and playfully fainting against the tree as Theo retrieved her beloved book. She mimicked his previous gesture, blowing him an exaggerated kiss as she took the book and plopped back down to her spot on the ground.

Esther opened back up to her page, her eyes glued to the book as she said,
"'Ight, so my mom should pull up soon; it's about a half-hour drive there. Elle and I will head over to a boutique on the third floor, and Theo'll lead the rest to Beyond Costumes Inc. on the second floor." She cast Theo an apologetic look, hoping he'd be okay with buying a couple costumes--then again, his family was loaded.

"We'll get some teriyaki or sushi to eat before buying our passes and catching a bus to Vitalia's. Sound like a plan?" Esther asked, looking around to the group that had formed under the willow tree. Takao walked towards them now, the confidence she always associated with him now replaced with some form of...anxiety?

She noticed that the sky had already begun dim, and knew that once they reached Theo's house, she'd be walking home in darkness.

Fintastic...

Izaria narrowed her eyes at Theo, who had just informed her that they'd be driving in Esther's mother's car. Groaning in exasperation, she turned to look over at the tree where everyone was gathering and walked over there. The first pangs of homesickness and anxiety showed up in her stomach when she looked at the tree. It reminded her of her father: stoic, lanky, and multi-armed. Of course, she didn't feel any sort of bond toward her parents. The only thing they put on her was a burden to rise in rank and bring glory to their family. That's the way it was in most large families in Rugia. She didn't mind though. In her demon form, it was physically impossible to really love someone the way humans did. She only really 'felt' pride, loyalty, and anger. Realizing that she was staring at the tree, she shook her head, clearing her train of thought, and leaned against the it waiting for Esther's mom to show up and bring her demise.

(Comment: BBCode is really hard on mobile, especially if you're using the rich text editor but I tried.)

Widely grinning like the Cheshire Cat, Theo twirled his hands in a mock bow, taking off his imaginary top hat while he was at it. "M'lady," Chuckling as he straightened up, Theo caught the exaggerated kiss blown in his direction like it was a baseball and pretended to tuck it into his pocket.

Looking over at the obviously nervous Takao, Theo stared at him with a curious expression. "You okay, Taks?" Theo asked, smiling like he usually was. "You look like you're about to ask a girl to the Halloween dance!" Laughing at the thought, Theo was completely unaware of the situation and might have just unintentionally called Takao out. Theo didn't do it on purpose; Takao just looked extremely similar to middle-schooler-Theo, trying to ask a girl to dance. Oh man, those were some awkward times that will paired with too much Axe in the locker room.

"Teriyaki?" Theo's attention was immediately caught by the heavenly word. If you can't tell, the narrator is very biased as teriyaki is my shit. Back to the IC post, Theo quickly filled in the information he missed by guessing and threw Esther a thumbs up. "Any plan with teriyaki is a good plan." Unfortunately, the time Theo was aware of someone else's feelings was when the very annoyed Izaria didn't seem to be very fond of carpooling.

Shooting the small girl a semi-apologetic look, Theo rubbed the back of his neck. If you haven't noticed by now, he does that a lot. "Sorry, I know our meager earthling transportation isn't as advanced as your alien spaceships."

Alayna walked out of the gym a tenser bandage gracing her foot with its presence and a support snapped pointe shoe in her hand. She knew she needed new pointe shoes soon, but she didn't know it was this soon. She trotted down the hall -throwing her beloved demon shoes in the garbage along the way- to meet up with her friends.

When she saw a crowd around a tree she cautiously made her way over, not exactly sure what they were doing, once she saw what was happening she laughed, "Theo quit annoying Takao, that is the Demon Dorks job." Still smiling she plopped down beside Esther, who's face was stuck to a book, "Whatchya reading, a classic or a comedy disaster?" She asked, trying to read the page. Apparently the word "a" was the only thing she could read at the moment.

After deciding she'd wait for Esther to tell her, she held up her latest english test, "Okay, since the teacher likes to write in caligraphy can someone tell me if my grade is a C- D or F?" She asked, not even the slightest bit phased by the big fat F she was oblivious to on her page, "Also when we're at the mall I'm dragging someone with me to grab some new pointe shoes. Any volunteers or shall I tap dance on someomes feet?"

Under the willow tree?

@ZaiKai @Defective Kitten @KroNicc115 @Lithia @DestinyRed @Nikolajsen @verifiedkat

Lorelei nodded to herself, determined to find a nice padded bra at the mall. Climbing out the window after saying a rushed farewell to Lucius and his general, Greysen, Lorelei hurried over to Takao's side. "A date to the Halloween dance?" Lorelei looked up at Takao and pursed her lips. Who was he going to ask? He seemed to be attracted to Alayna but Elle and Lorelei were by his side the entire journey.

"You know, Theo," Lorelei began, not wanting to seem like she was eavesdropping on Takao and Elle's conversation. "If you buy me
something, I'll let you ride in one of my spaceships when we open the portal." Smiling cheekily, Lorelei didn't specify what she needed to buy but let's just say that a good quality bra cost a lot of money. "Right, Izaria?" Lorelei was about to tease Izaria about her distaste of earthling transportation when she saw the look on Izaria's face.

Shutting her mouth, Lorelei knew that look of reminisce. She had worn that look a lot while they were gathering the microwaves and studying how to put the magic portal together in a non-magic world. Lorelei just didn't understand why Izaria was looking at a tree. "I guess she must have had some experience with a tree..." Lorelei mumbled under her breath.

Turning to look at Alayna, Lorelei squinted to read the scribbled letter but instead found herself gasping and ripping the paper out of Alayna's hands. "That's a bad luck piece of paper, Alayna. It had the ancient rune for
failure." After ripping the part of the paper that had the F on it, Lorelei calmly handed the test back to Alayna. "You're welcome."

Alayna burst out laughing standing up with the slightest wince and pointing at her paper, "Well your ancient rune is also means failure here." She said. Thinking a bit, she'd laughed so much lately she was surprised she hadn't lost her voice yet. I swear I'll have laugh lines when I'm twenty. The teen thought, "So are you asking anyone to the dance oh mighty breastless warrior?" She teased, "Or will you be like me and get the most epic costume ever so you wont need a date?"

Of course, she had always thought of all the girls that hopped out of the portal as incredibly independant, but maybe they had a crush on Takao or the Demon Dork. Or maybe Theo. NOT!

Izaria Aschubel

Izaria sighs and shakes her head. "I didn't get motion sick at all in demon-form on any mode of transportation whether it be by portal or...spaceship? We didn't have spaceships to get sick on in the first place." She mumbles under her breath, knowing that it would be futile to try and explain that to him. "Though we'll be gone by tonight, so I'll bear with it." Changing the subject she turned to Lorelei, deciding to comply for now to see if she could get something out of it. "Y-Yeah. It won't be a problem. I have a personal one at my estate in Rugia." Of course that was a total fib, but what harm could it do? They'd be gone by tonight.

MEET ME IN THE PIT, BRO.

@DestinyRed @Nikolajsen @verifiedkat

Lorelei's eyes widened in horror at the thought of going alone to the Halloween dance. She never went to a party alone. She was Lorelei of the seven seas for Neptune's sake! "Wh-what?" Lorelei fumbled around, desperately trying to find the right words to say. "Me? Ask someone to the dance?" Breaking out into nervous laughter, Lorelei felt anxious sweat drip down her face. "Th-that's silly! Ahahahaha!"

Flipping her hair over her shoulder, Lorelei did her best to lie but her fidgeting may have given it away."I've already been asked out!" Face turning red as she laughed loudly, Lorelei's eyes dashed around the school, looking for a someone she could use as a date. "B-b-by Theo!" Lorelei exclaimed in a panic, shooting Theo a murderous glare as she turned around to gesture to him.

"R-r-right, Theo? Ahahaha!" Lorelei scurried over to Theo's side, linking arms with him. Grabbing the collar of his shirt, Lorelei pretended to kiss him on the cheek but instead whispered into his ear. "Go along with this and I'll even let you take a picture with our king," Pausing in her fib, Lorelei sighed before adding, "Our
alien king."

Grinning nervously at the group, Lorelei made a note to buy some sort of Japanese candy for Izaria. Her total fib sure did help fooling Theo. Not that he was difficult to fool. Slap the word alien on anything and that boy is more gullible than the person beside you.

Alayna, bit her lip and choked down a laugh, she knew Lorelei was lying but she didn't really care, "So! Theo, how did you ask our mighty warrior lady? Did you rent a spaceship that said Come to the dance with me my Alien princess or something else completely ridiculous?" She questioned, "Or did you go in more of a romcom direction and finally admit your longtime love for her!" She said, dramatically swooning then falling flat on her back so she could look up at the pair and make kissy faces. Hey! Saying a lie like that to Alayna face was like putting catnip infront of a cat.

@Sen Pai @Nikolajsen

Surprised by the sudden linking of the arms, Theo raised his eyebrows in confusion at Lorelei. He clearly wasn't getting the message that Lorelei was trying to send him with a glare that sent shivers down his spine. He was about to ask Lorelei what was going on when she whispered the promise of meeting, no, taking a picture with the alien king.

"I asked her after a romantic first date at the aquarium." Theo answered back smoothly. He'd have to apologize to his ma when he got home for lying but this is the alien king we're talking about. "But a spaceship would've been pretty cool." And Theo would do anything to meet the alien king. He wondered how long the king's beard would be...

YOU KNOW THAT EVERYTHING AROUND WAS LIKE A LITTLE BITTY TOWN

@DestinyRed @Nikolajsen

Lorelei started to panic when she saw Alayna fall to the ground, laughing. Face turning as red as a tomato, Lorelei knew that she shouldn't have chosen such an unlikely target. Lorelei almost fainted from the shame when Theo lied smoother than a Dairy Queen milkshake. Eyes brightening like her soul was renewed, Lorelei beamed cheekily and pat Theo's arm.

"Haha! Yup! That's us! The romantic new couple from the aquarium!" Leaning down to Alayna, Lorelei covered her mouth with her free hand like she was telling a secret. However, her voice was too loud to be considered a whisper. "He sure was persistent to go on a date with me." Flipping her hair back again, Lorelei fell back as if she was in a drama.

"Men just can't resist my charm!" Throwing a hand over her forehead, Lorelei sighed heavily. Getting up again, Lorelei grinned and placed her hands on her hips. "Theo, darling, where's the chauffeur?" Searching around for what she expected to be a limousine, Lorelei flinched when a group of students passed by.

"Oh, please! No pictures, no pictures!"

Alayna raised an eyebrow at Lorelei, "He's Theo, i could give him 20 bucks and he'd go on a date with me -not happening by the way-" she said, then rubbed the back of her head, regretting her swoon-fall combo "That actually, really hurt."

After standing up she looked at the pair, "If you two are so in love then kiss. On. The. Lips." If Lorelei was going to lie to her face and somehow get Theo to play along she could at least have a little fun with it.

Theo frowned at the accusation. "I wouldn't sell myself so cheap." Feeling almost insulted, Theo muttered something about self worth and how all the money in the world can't buy true happiness. Then again, meeting the alien king was priceless and, as bad as Theo felt for betraying his mother, he had to do it. He'd be seen as a hero in the alien-believing community.

"Oh, are you alright? Would you like an ice pack?" Theo offered to run to the infirmary and grab a pack of ice for Alayna. It wasn't just to get out of the awkward situation. However, when Alayna suggested that he and Lorelei kissed, Theo wished he had taken that opportunity to bolt out of there.

Not entirely comfortable with that, Theo glanced down at Lorelei, hoping she could do something about it. "Uh, we're saving our first kiss for sometime special..?" Now it was Theo's time to panic. What would they do if neither of the two wanted to kiss each other? Not that kissing Lorelei would be bad, Theo just wasn't that kind of person?

OPERATION FENDS HIP

@DestinyRed @Nikolajsen

Grimacing only for a second when Alayna mentioned paying Theo $20 to go on a date, Lorelei folded her arms over her chest and huffed in annoyance when Alayna told them to kiss. Kissing wasn't a big deal to Lorelei but it sure did seem to rattle Theo. Poor guy must be a kiss virgin. The only thing he'd probably kiss would be an alien when it lands on earth. Oh wait.

Rolling her eyes at Theo's blabbering, Lorelei forcefully grabbed onto Theo's collar and pulled him down to her level. Smashing their like together, Lorelei held him there for a few seconds, don't want to get into the kissing details, and pushed him away like it was no big deal. "We kiss all the time, right?" Smiling smugly at Alayna, Lorelei had to go through with this act. She just prayed to Neptune that Theo would follow along.

He wanted to take a picture with the alien kin, didn't he?

Alayna stared blankly at Lorelei, suddenly regretting teasing her. She probably just stole Theo's first kiss.... but at the moment it seemed they actually liked eachother, "Well you two do realize that Lorelei, as well as the other Sofyan's are heading back to Sofya tonight. Right?" She asked, realization suddenly hitting her like a brick in the face. She'd never see any of the Sofyan's again

The thought made her quite upset. Her previously cheerful mood turned somber, forgetting about her teasing all together. Well not like they'll miss me, especially Lucius... His foot is probably still messed up, she thought to herself. Without thinking, she stood up and walked over to Lorelei giving her a hug, "It sucks I won't see you again." She said, then gave Takao a hug, "If you want I'll get you some pointe shoes to stab Lucius with." Of course she sucked at being emotional so humor was her way to go. Then she turned to Izaria, "And I know you hate me so I'm giving you a hug just to piss you off." She said then gave the girl a quick hug, "Now that I'm done with the emotional crap -since your leaving at freaking midnight and I can't keep composure when I'm tired- I wanna say you guys are the most awesome pains in the ass ever. Now lets go to the mall and let you try icecream!"

@Sen Pai @DestinyRed @Nikolajsen

Izaria gawked at the scene Lorelei had gotten herself into, with poor Theo caught up into it too. "This is getting out of hand." She muttered. Alanya didn't even believe them, she was just messing with them. Her reaction time was too slow to keep up with Alanya approaching her and- hugging her? That was unexpected considering that Alanya would be considered a 'Enemy-Of-State' when they got back. Before Izaria could react, Alanya pulled back.

"What's ice cream?" Izaria asked. She had heard of the cold treat, but had never been explained to what it was.

Demon King Lucius Virgil Rugia

@Defective Kitten

Lucius sees the box of permanent markers in the corner of the room. He takes one, and tosses another to Greysen, handing him a copy of the sketch of the sigil.
"You draw the circle on the outside, I'll draw the symbols on the inside," he says, kneeling down and beginning to draw a series of swoops, loops, and shapes to create a pattern too complicated to guess at but simple enough it wouldn't drain him completely to draw it with his blood. Then again, he figures he'll probably be pretty drained, but it won't matter too much once they're in the portal... Lucius looks over a bit, trying to see Greysen's progress.
