Ash sighed, running a hand through her hair as she tried to give him a consoling smile. She didn't know he liked Lindsey, that made it even more akward. But luckily for her she hadn't said anything so she didn't have to feel to stupid. She took a drink from her cup, leaning against the couch as she grabbed her lighter from her pocket. She flicked it with one hand and grabbed her phone with the other. She shot a quick text to Bri.

 

[Arael]

Austin looked up once Ash and Aubria as they walked back into the room and everyone started speaking different languages which made it a little difficult to follow the conversation but he understood them completely " so many languages could we all just put it back into English or I swear I'll go crocodile dundee on all of you".

 

[Keiser]

''Heh. I still don't get over the fact what she did to me was just... ugh. You know, can we do something else? Play truth or dare or another cheesy game? Wanna forget all our high school drama.'' He laughs slightly, waiting for a response from the pack.

Ash, James, and Tai go about in German as I can't understand any of it. My phone vibrates to two new messages: Ash, and my Cal swim teammate Celina. Obviously I check Ash's first. I send her a reply and then proceed to Celina's message.

I jump up and grab the remote and turn the tv to ESPN. "Sorry guys urgent, no one was watching anyways..." On tv it shows the article about the world dominant, world renown Cal swim team and how we came up short this year at national championships. It also shows my picture and discussion of my national Freshman award.

''Wow, great job Aubria, never expected that of you, be on the news! Wow, be proud. Heh, I've only won one championship in my life, it was in Muai Thay and it didn't show on the news, consider yourself lucky!''

Taisuke laughed. "Yeah great work Aubria but really James you have only ever won one championship I've won several but none of them where on the news all were on TV." Taisuke said giving a little clap to Aubria. "O and James I think truth or dare would be fun." Taisuke added.

Ash was watching the TV still when her phone vibrated. She read the message from Aubria and responded back before looking around and realizing Lindsey was indeed quite gone. She frowned a bit, deciding to shoot her a text as well since she was a bit weird for her to just vanish like that. Rubbing the back of her head as she typed one handed she took another long drink from her cup.

 

[Arael]

"Congratulations Aubria, yeah truth or dare might be fun"he said as he got ip stretching as he walked into the kitchen grabbed a beer and walked back out just as fast as he went in "anyone have any idea what time it is?" He said as he sat down on the couch and looked around at everyone else.

 

[Ch0sen1]

"Guys....I didn't win the title it's just an award...." I was very modest, but now I was also irritated. Media always finds ways to spin things around to some negative connotation. Then the Pack spoke of all things truth or dare.


"I had actually planned that for later when everyone is in here at the same time. And it's a little after 8 AJ. Why, somewhere you gotta be?" I look at Austin with dead eyes, while turning the tv down, but still looking at the braodcast.

Nick was sitting in the living room with everyone and smiled "congrats aubria about time someone else besides me in this group won a national award." Nick laughed as he also won the national freshman of the year award but for ice hockey.

Austin shook his head "no I was just curious "he said as he sat down and looked back at the tv screen he actually didn't have plans at all this week so he'd be pretty much open to hang out with the gang whenever.

I began to contemplate on Lindsey. She hadn't made any noise or even came in the den yet. "Has anyone seen Lindsey?" I then kick my feet up on the edge of the sofa near Austin.

"You know I have won several national award right." Taisuke said laughing. "You really don't know much about me do you." Taisuke said still laughing. Well to be honest no one knows much about me since i'm barely ever here.He thought to himself . "I haven't heard a thing from Lindsey." Taisuke said tilting his head.

 

[Arael]

Austin laughed slightly "I don't think you get rewards for being a lawyer"he said smiling as he grabbed a couch pillow and rolled onto the floor "so what're we gonna do now?" He asked honestly a bit curious about their slight change in plans.

"Oh my god Tai, YES we know of your accomplishments!!! Haha goodness!" Taisuke was a showoff for sure, and that's what made me laugh. As far as Lindsey, I was starting to worry about her.... @Bills352


"So, can we please get people in here and watch a movie please?" I look at AJ, trying to hint to him to find everyone. I give him my concerned and impatient face to try to get it through to him. Austin knew I could be a bit....domineering. @EclipseRising

" Don't ever call me a lawyer I don't think I could just sit behind a desk all day waiting for someone to call me." Taisuke said laughing. "My accomplishments are great." Taisuke said still laughing. "O and Austin I think that was Aubria nice way of saying get up and find everyone just in case you couldn't tell." Taisuke added since you can never be to sure if people understand or not.

Austin nodded and stood up "wanna stop by Lindsey's place and see what's up?, she did take off earlier for some odd reason"he asked Aubria quietly as he pulled out his keys and waited for her answer, "I was talking about myself Tai " he said shaking his head laughing at his friends reaction

"Yea taisuke I know you have it's just that you don't really hear anything about your sport. My sport is one of the 4 major sports in the country so you hear about it and my self and my accomplishments more." Nick smiled. "Nothing against your sport just don't hear about it much."

"Wait she LEFT!? What the heck is up with people leaving and being all secretive and what not!? Ugggh...I have to stay here AJ I have a house full of guests she'll be back maybe she went to the store for veggie stuff..." I grab Austin's keys and I set them down on the table in the den.


I listen to Nick and Tai rant on about their sports with ego. Men.


"We should just....chill, ya know?" I say looking up at Austin, right under his chin.

"I knew that Austin." Taisuke said scratching his head awkwardly. "Well Nick good for you I won forty-four grand during one event so you'res maybe bigger but mine makes the more money and doesn't have to share nothing against you're sport an all but you have to split it in a team." Taisuke said smiling he would admit that hockey is bigger but money wise maybe not.

 

[Arael]

"Alright sounds like a plan"Austin said as he sat down on the couch and listened to Nick and Tai talk about their sports "anyone know any party games?" He asked pretty much everyone maybe that would help pass yhe time for them while they waited for their friends.

Nick laughed and smiled "fourth four grand is not bad at all tai and even though I don't make many in college. When I go play professionally in the NHL after college. The league minimum contract is $750,000 a year and that's the league minimum it just keeps going way up after that." Nick sat there and looked around and looked at aj " I know let's play beer pong!"

I watch as Austin goes to sit, I was expecting a bit more than that but then again all we had done was patched things up.


"Beer pong is cool....except I don't drink...." I reply to Nick. Not all the Pack knew I didn't drink or smoke, only Austin, Ash, and Tai.
