Lindsey
The drive to a small coffee shop on the outskirts of town was a quiet one. Lindsey had tried to make small conversation, by pointing out the radio was playing songs she like or commenting on the scenery, but all Philip did in response was roll the roof up and turn off the radio. The worried feeling inside of Lindsey grew just like it always had moments before he would hit her. Her phone buzzed in her lap and it made Philip turn his head, "Who is that?" He asked with a cold voice. Trembling Lindsey looked at her phone and in a soft voice responded, "It's Ashtin...A childhood friend." "Don't answer."
Lindsey dropped her phone in her lap without replying. She felt bad for it, but she knew what happened when Philip got mad. When they pulled up on the parking lot of the coffee shop the sight of several people there calmed Lindsey down. She knew Philip wouldn't hit her if others were watching. "Coffee break?" She asked trying to break the awkwardness, but Philip remained silent. Her phone buzzed again, but Philip took it before she was able to see who it was. "Who's Bri Bri?" "She's another one of my friends. I was at her-" "Shut it." Philip took the phone and threw it out of the car. Lindsey stared wide at Philip. Coming here had definitely been a mistake.
Lindsey took off her seat belt and opened the door of the car, but Philip grabbed her arm and yanked her flimsy body back before she was able to swing her foot out the door. Philip pulled her towards him and planted a kiss on her lips, but unlike the kiss from before this one was forced not gentle. Lindsey began to push Philip away, but he wouldn't budge. His hands slid down her back and reached the hem of her sweater. He pulled it off despite her protests and leaned himself on her. Lindsey yelled for help, but with the windows up and the roof up, she couldn't be heard. Philip grabbed her arms strongly to stop her from fighting leaving red marks. There was only one thing that Lindsey thought of doing.
When Philip's lips were back on hers she bit down hard making him scream and backing off. She quickly opened the door, jumped off of the jeep and ran into the coffee shop not caring that she was topless. The manager ran towards Lindsey who looked like she had just wrestled a bear and gave her a jacket to cover her. The manager than ran outside the shop to stop Philip, but he had already made a run for it on her jeep.
Lindsey was now sitting down at the coffee shop, stranded. She waited for the manager to bring her a cup of coffee, on the house, and a phone for her to call for a ride. When the manager arrived, Lindsey noticed that she didn't know any phone numbers. She had thought about calling Ashtin, or Aubri who had both texted her before Philip threw out her phone, but she only knew the first 3 digits of their numbers. Lindsey thought long trying to remember a number to call, until she finally remembered one. It was a risky shot, but it was better than calling a taxi. She punched in James's number on the phone and hoped that he picked up unknown calls.

He heared the phone buzz, he gently took it from Aubri's hand and saw it was a unknown number. He stopped crying and awrnsered with again, his cold, usual voice, in case it was some of his friends. "Hello? "

There was a small spark of hope hearing that James had answered. Lindsey was so happy she forgot how to speak for a minute. When she regained her speech ability Lindsey was only able to mutter a few words. "James, It's me...Lindsey." She didn't know where they stood. There had been some weird tension between them that she really didn't understand, but right now she needed a friend. Hopefully he would be able to put what ever happened between them behind for a moment and help her out.

Ash sighed to herself as she took a seat on the arm of the couch to half listen in on the phone call. She was gently scratching Roma's back since she had gotten up to retrieve the tarantula in the first place. Giving the large arachnid a good petting always soothed her since it required a gentle touch and the soft clicking sound she made when pleased always made Ash smile. The spiders front legs twitched happily as she began to make that very sound. A faint smile curved her lips. She was really worried about Lindsey but she was a bit mad as well. You shouldn't just bail out on your friends like that, but that was pretty much what had been happening with the Pack lately.

"Aubri...? I need you." Lindsey's voice was beginning to crack. So James' couldn't get over what ever 'it' was. Could I have done something so bad he doesn't want to talk to me? It was getting late she didn't like the looks she was getting from the old man across the shop. Lindsey pushed the thought of James to the side and continued to talk, "I would have called you, but Phi... I don't have my phone. This was the only number I remembered...Aubri can you pick me up?" Lindsey was trying really hard not to cry, but tears were already forming in her eyes. She pushed them back not wanting to make a scene in the middle of the coffee shop. She could hold just a little in order to finish talking and make a run for the restroom.

"Uhhh., Lindsey finish your sentence....you would have called me but what now? And of course I will baby" I hear the cracking in her voice. That made my heart drop. Was she in a wreck!? Robbed!? I began to worry.
"Lindsey are you okay? que es problema amiga?" I talk to her as I dart upstairs past James who's zoned out and grab the keys to my car. I throw on some flip flops and my purse and begin back down the stairs.

Taisuke noticed the panic and ran to the bottom of the stairs to meet Aubria . "Is everything Okay?" Taisuke asked with a hint of worry in his voice looking at Aubria who had her keys in hand.

" Yeah I'm fine. I'm in the rusty old coffee shop outside of town that we pass to go to your aunt's house. Remember?...Oh and...umm Aubri...Can you bring me a shirt?" Lindsey was a embarrassed by the last part, but she knew that she had to return the manager's jacket. Lindsey had been in such a rush of getting out of her Jeep she hadn't even thought about reaching for her shirt. She just hoped Aubria would understand and not ask her too many questions.

Austin looked a little concerned Lindsey was never really involved in any bad situations so this really had him worried "ya want me to come along sheila?" He asked as he looked over at her.
