Realistic or Modern Love, Live, Life

I watch as AJ turns and just starts walking ahead, leaving Blake and I behind, but eyeing him sharply. I shrug it off. "Well, I'm pretty sure you don't want to go back to that chaos....are you going to go home? Not that I'm trying to run you off or anything just asking." I say as I begin to walk back the way I came.

"Can I tell you something? Something I can't tell them?....I feel like I'm not good enough at times. It's like the Pack is my family, the first thing I clung to when I moved here...but no matter what I do it never gets taken into appreciation. Sorry I had to get that out, can't tell them that because then they'd ramble about how they do appreciate me and blah blah but....I'm an actions girl ya know? They speak louder than words...[sighs]" @Arrow

Lindsey

Lindsey saw as James followed Ash into her car(tree?). She gave a small frown. She had tried to talk to him, but with the bickering going on between James and Aubria it was almost impossible to say anything. Lindsey set quietly in her jeep for a few more moments until she decided she was tired of being alone. Lindsey got up and returned to their spot on the park. Lindsey sits back down near the campfire and just waits for the others to return while she roasts a marshmallow.

Ash slipped from the branch, quickly making her way back to the ground. She wrapped her arms around his waist, smiling at him. She knew how he could get a times, temperamental over the slightest things. But when you didn't exactly trust people that's how it was. Always wary of the next time you would get hurt. It was one of the reasons Ash had learned to have thick skin. Sometimes you gotta let things just slide off your back.

"Don't be so hard on them yea... Bri is just a bit more trusting than the rest of us... Always so willing that girl... Don't take it personal... By the way I think you look utterly adorable right now..."

He just calmed down everything Ash talked to him, even if she did it in a cold tone, it made him feel relaxed, he hugged Ash very tightly. She always got him out of his emotional shell, and that made him very happy. He sat down in the tree, bringing her with him, just passing his hand trough her hair. ''Just noticed your beautiful new hair, couldn't quite distinguish since the nights were so cold. You look cute and beautiful.'' He forgot about everything, he was just thinking about her. But, he suddenly remembered something.

''Ash, i don't know if you mind, but i was talking with Lindsey a moment ago, just that all the drama interrupted our talk. Can i go talk to her ago? She was going to tell me something.'' He asked in a shy tone.

"I don't think it's because you're not good enough. I think everyone is just wrapped up in their own heads they can't see what they're missing out on." Blake smiled as he walked beside her back towards the camp where the rest of the Pack were.

"I'll probably head back, check on my Ma. If you ever need anything doing let me know, I'm quite the handy man." He left her side to say goodbye to Ash and Celeste, and anyone else who would receive his farewell and started to head back to his motorcycle.

"Bye Blake, and I can see that you're a handyman haha. [waves] you take care now." I smile at him and then I turn back towards the camp and slowly walk back and sit down looking at the campfire. I just stare into the flames, thinking of everything, and nothing. Whatever happened at this point happened.

"Ah thanks... I just got sick of the silver and blue... It didn't match up with my mood any more... And yea... You can go talk to Lin... I'll chill here in my tree like the faerie I am..."

Ash tilted her head to the side, kissing him on the cheek before clambering back up into the tree branches, settling somewhere in the middle. She went back to her smoking, looking up at what little bits of the sky were visible through the thick branches.

Lindsey

Lindsey smiled when Aubri sat down around the campfire also. She seemed sort of dazed and didn't notice Lindsey sitting there also, so lindsey cleared her throat and spoke up. "Hey Bri!...What's on you mind love?" Lindsey scooted next to Aubri and handed her she mashmallow she had just roasted. Although they had been together for the past few days, Lindsey hadn't really talked to Aubri much. Well they've talked, but just superficially. Not like old times. They used to be so close like a fat kid and cake, but now they hadn't had much time alone to talk. Lindsey wanted to change that.

Once they made it back to their camp Austin went right back to his spot sitting on top of the picnic table, his only movement was when he reached over to grabna beer from the cooler he looked around and caught a glimpse of Ash climbing a tree, james walking off most likely to talk to Lin, and he saw bri sitting by the fire just staring into it.

He was going toward the campfire, to talk with Lindsey, but he saw Bri sit down. He sighed and sat inside his tent. He laid down and just stared at the roof of the tent. Waiting for Bri to go away so he could talk with Lindsey.

I heard Lindsey talking, but I just kept staring into the fire. If I told any of the pack what I was thinking right now they'd tear me apart. So I kept looking into the fire, not saying a word. I seen James approach then walk past into his tent. Figures, running. Again. My so called 'brother'. Anyone that would deliberately hurt a family member like that was effed up. Sad part was no one would probably even check him. I shook my head at Lindsey but never took my eyes off the flame.

Lindsey

Lindsey let out a sigh at Aubri not wanting to speak. Have I lost her too? She didn't want to push her though. Lindsey would respected the decision of Aubri not to talk, but she needed to do something for her friend. Aubri had always been there for her and now Lindsey was going to be there for Aubri. "You know you can talk to me love. I'll always be here to listen." Without another word Lindsey wrapped her arms around Aubri and gave her a tight reassuring hug. "I'm here for you Bri...Always"

"You should go talk to James before he has another bitch fit...." I say to Lindsey. Still, my eyes never move from the flames.Lindsey was trying so hard but I couldn't escape my thoughts. I didn't want to be alone, but it was better than me spilling what was on my mind.

Lindsey

"And leave my best friend alone so she can destroy herself with her own thoughts. Tempting, but...how would you say it...ni que estuviera loca." Lindsey smiled at having perfectly massacred the spanish line, but hoping that it would atleast get a smile out of Aubria. If she didn't want to tell her what was going on in her head then Lindsey was fine with that, but she wasn't going to sit around and watch her friend sulk. Lindsey was a bit disappointment, by the lack of trust. She knew that if it was Ash here instead of her, Aubria would already be crying on her shoulder letting go of all her feelings. Lindsey felt very jealous towards Ash at that moment, first James now Aubria, she knew she wasn't doing it on purpose, but Lindsey couldn't help but feel a dash of hatred towards the girl. But that was something she wasn't going to bring up.

@Ch0sen1

"You butchered that Lin....." I say to Lindsey, still staring ahead. I wanted to open up, to everybody, but I wasn't going to. James went way over the line, putting words in my mouth, calling me out of my name like a piece of trash. Not once did I do that to him and never would, because I loved him. For the first time I questioned if he even cared about me, which he said he didn't even care about anything I said. That in turn has me thinking....maybe this Pack doesn't care like they say. Of course I'll never say it aloud, I'll just take the burden for everyone else like I always have.

Afyer a few minutes of just sitting Austin decided to get up and go into the tent, on the way there he saw Lin and bri talking well it looked like lin was doing most of the talking but it wasn't his business once he was in the tent he laid down on his side and just stared up at the top of the tent.

Lindsey

Lindsey didn't get the reaction she was expecting from Aubria and it was getting really irritating to just be shut down. Lindsey was trying to be there for Aubria, but she wouldn't let her get close. Lindsey frowned and looked up frustratingly. She took a deep breath and tried once more. She had to get through to Aubria somehow. "Aubria please... You don't need to hold on to what ever it is you're holding on to. It isn't healthy. You can talk to you Bri...I wont judge." Lindsey was pleading with her friend to let her in. Lindsey hated seeing Aubria so detached not just from her, but from herself also.

@Ch0sen1

Ash sighed, slipping from the tree, landing with a soft thud in the grass. Shovving her handds in her jean pockets she walked across the park. Stopping by the campfire she grabbed Bri by the arm, lifting her off the ground with her usual ease. Locking her arm through hers she gave her bestfriend a look that invited neither argument nor protest. Turning her toward the tree she had just climbed down from she indicated that as her destination.

"Lin, go talk to James and see what he wants please... I would like to get to the actually fun campy stuff soon... Bri, you come with me..."

Turning fully she inclined her head towards the tree nodding her head at Bri. She let go of the girls arm as she wasn't going to drag her along. Hopefully the girl had enough respect for their friendship to abide by her wishes. Adjusting her beanie she headed towards the tree.

And just like that Ashtin took someone away from her again. Lindsey was getting really tired of that bitch disappearing and then jumping in like she owned the place. Lindsey stood up in protest, "You can't just take her away like that Ashtin. I was talking to her." Lindsey didn't want to be told what to do, especially not from Ashtin.

@X3 Infernal Infinity

I had a choice.....follow Ash to that tree for some usual counseling, or stay here and keep what I had to say to myself. I loved Ash more than life itself, but what I had to say would only dampen things. I seen Austin go in his tent and lay down, James doesn't give two shits about me, Lin was trying but I wanted her to stay happy and not be burdened with my mess. Now I want the same for Ash. I take two steps towards the tree, and then stop. I see Lindsey getting rash, so I did what only I could.

"Guys. I'm fine. So when are we going to begin this shindig huh?" My tone was nowhere near hyper, but maybe I sold it just enough.

"Where are the smores? Lin, Ash come roast with me." I sit down and grab marshmellows and place them on a stick and begin roasting. @NessieAlways @X3 Infernal Infinity

"Talking at someone and talking to them are two different things... Try to remember that won't you..." @NessieAlways

Ash didn't even bother to turn around though she did stop for a moment. When she did look back the expression on her face was equal measures calm and cold. While she didn't feel like more problems she also had little patience for people who were clearly to stupid or to proud to see when they were in the wrong, which was Lindsey all the time. Ash had very little patience as it was and Lin took up a good deal of that in the past couple of days. What she had left she was trying not to wear away. Her eyebrows rose at Bri's false cheerful tone and she made a soft clucking noise with her tongue.

"Bri... Are you really going to try faking it... With me...? Really..." @Ch0sen1

Lindsey

Seeing Aubria take those two steps was all Lindsey needed. Lindsey's throat closed up and her eyes began to water. She was going to follow her. She was just going to leave without saying a word. Lindsey looked down at the ground letting the tears fall out of her eyes. I'm done with this. Lindsey looked at Aubria, the girl who had been her friend longer than she could remember, and all she saw was a pretty face, not her best friend. Lindsey shook her head and wipe the tears away. "I can't...I can't do this anymore." Lindsey walked away from the duo towards the parking lot. Only she didn't get into her car, Lindsey just kept on walking up the side walk.
