After breaking out her box of tools, Jasmine got to making adjustments to her Honda. For someone so young, she did have quite a bit of experience with Auto Mechanics. At the same time, she decided to look up parts that she may want. Even though the parts were expensive, Jasmine did have plenty of money to throw around, because not only she had a high paying job, but she participated in street races as well. "Might race again tonight, but I don't plan on cutting loose any of my rides..." Other cars she had included a 1991 Toyota MR2, 2010 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and a 2013 Scion FR-S, all of which she has poured money into, but not as much as her Honda S2000.

Lindsey

Lindsey woke up to a wonderful smell. Her eyes pried open slowly as she gave a cat like stretch and a loud yawn. She had had a good dreamless sleep. She felt well rested and ready for whatever life threw on her. She looked around her not recognizing the place she was in, but after a few moments she remembered that she had slept over at Tai's.

Lindsey hopped off of bed and made her way to the kitchen where she found Taisuke whipping up something that smelled delicious. "Morning Tai...What are you making? She said with a sleepy voice as she grabbed a glass and poured water on it.

Nick sighed as he looked down and the back at aub. "I have no idea how I even feel about it so I have no idea how he feels. I still cant believe it really happened. Like me and carter both have so much going for us and we let that happen."

He hears Austin come home. He turns and hears the words "smells good in here who's in the kitchen today?'' He rapidly says ''NOBODY AUSTIN, MICROWAVE YOURSELF SOME PIZZA, NO FOOD TODAY.'' James simply loved Ash's cooking, of course, he was always a wall to talk to, but he just didn't like expressing his feelings today. And Austin, ugh, Austin. A dude who always was the ''hotshot'' stealing peoples crushes. I remember about everyone hated him in school, but i never told him.

"Yo Austin you lame... I got one hell of a punch waiting for your rib cage..."


She frowned her nose wrinkling slightly with irritation. She grabbed a plate and made one for James, handing it over to the tall boy before standing up on her tiptoes to lick his cheek. She grinned darting out of the kitchen before making her own plate and went in to the living room, sneaking up on Austin from behind. Popping up over the edge of the couch she punched him in the ribs twice before putting him in a headlock. She grinned choking him slightly.


"You ever text me some lame ass "okay" shit again and I will kick your shinbones..."

James got REALLY happy when she gave him a plate with chocolate chip pancakes. He started dancing with it in hand, looking like an idiot, but he was still really happy. He grabbed a fork and went to eat it on the living room. He saw Austin get punched in the ribs. He giggled and when he passed trough Ash he gave her a quick peck on her lips, sitting down and starting to devour the pancakes.

"Morning Lin good sleep?" Taisuke answered with as he continued to stir the pot. "Miso soup you ever tried it?" Taisuke asked taking the pot off the cooker and pouring the soup into two bowls. "If you're wondering it if vegetable I know how you don't like meat." Taisuke added smiling picking up both of the bowls and putting them on the dining table sitting down and using body language to get Lindsey too.

Austin almost fell over from the surprise attack but ended up laughing once he realized it was Ash playing aroundm he knew this little "beating" from her was coming he moved his arms back and tickled her sides as she put him in the headlock "alright I won't do it again just let go Ashy" he said as he tried to stop laughing.

"You can't help how you feel Nicky....feelings are feelings" I say looking up at Austin. Staring at AJ, I reply to Nick: "Sometimes they consume us when we least expect, but the fact the other person doesn't return it to you shows that either they're not ready for your love yet, or they don't deserve it. "

Lindsey

Lindsey shook her head no since she had never tried Miso soup. She had heard about it though. People would eat it at Japanese restaurants before a meal, but since Japanese food was mostly raw fish, Lindsey wasn't a number one fan. "I did sleep well actually. Thanks for asking! How about you? Did you stay up late? I don't really remember at what time I crashed out. I just know I was extremely tired. Lindsey sat on the empty chair and took a whiff of the soup. It smelled delicious and she was glad Tai remembered she didn't like meat. She took a spoon and tried the soup loving the warm taste in her mouth. "This is so good! Tai...I didn't know you cooked this well.

Ash blushed bright scarlet when James gave her a brief peck on the lips. Letting go of Austin she giggled nervously before fleeing to the kitchen. Sliding on the the floor behind the counter she tried to calm her rapidly beating heart. Grabbing her phone and a strip of bacon almost simultaneously she began nibbling and texting at the same time.

"I went to bed soon after you I don't know what time to be exact but yeah I had a good sleep." Taisuke smiled. "I aim to impress and also it came for japan so I need to be able to keep a little bit of my culture." Taisuke watched her eat still smiling. "Itadakimasu" Taisuke said aloud which was more of a force of habit whenever he was going to eat even if he prepared the meal himself, Taisuke then picked up the bowl and drank the Miso soup as if the bowl was a cup he finished it quickly. "gochisosama." He said after finishing the soup.

I jump as my phone vibrates and I get a text from Ashhy. I read the message and immediately dart to where she is. "Hey, what happened??" I look at her with a shocked smile. Did James do something? I was going to find out. "Did flagpole do something??"

Lindsey finished her soup little after Taisuke and she headed over to drop the dish in the sink. "When are we supposed to be at Bri's house? Is that 'intervention' still happening?" Lindsey grabbed the sponge and soap and began to wash her plate like she had been taught to do when she was in someone else's house.

I yank Bri down on to the floor beside me popping up to grab another piece of bacon. I nibble the bacon again and look at her, my face still a bright pink as I have yet to stop blushing. I sigh softly wiggling a bit as I grab Bri's arm.


"I don't know what's going on with James today... He's like super affectionate...and he umm...totally just mini kissed me while I was choking out Austin..."

"I don't know you got the message remember." Taisuke said smiling since he gave her his phone which had the message on it. Taisuke then stood up and walked over to the sink and standing behind Lindsey. "I got it the chef's job to clean up not the consumer." Taisuke said with a smile on his face since he knew what he would do if she said I got this or something along those lines.

"Oh. My. God, are you serious!? Duuuuuuude!" I say, clutching Ash's arm and moving side to side. "Why? How? Did you like it

"Right...I better check that out then." Lindsey handed Tai her plate and dried off her hands before skipping over to the spare room and grabbing Tai's phone. She unlocked the phone and looked for Ash's message. So she wants us to meet at five Lindsey suddenly felt very insecure about going over. She knew she would get chewed out over her silly mistake. Not to mention James would be there and she would have to face whatever it was that was going on. With a small sigh Lindsey replied

James had finished his pancakes. He saw Bri and Ash staring at him. He just closed his eyes and gave a big smile. He felt his phone vibrate, he checked it and saw the message of Tai, he could see it, since it was a group chance. When he saw it, he just put a serious face and started rubbing his chin.

Taisuke took the given plate and began cleaning both of them glancing at Lin as she walked out of the room. "So what time do we need to be there by Lin?" Taisuke shouted so Lindsey could hear him.

Ash giggled as Bri shook her in her excitement. She tried to still her overly energetic friend who was, as always, asking her a million questions per minute. She was preparing to respond when her phone vibrated, taking it out she looked at the message from Lindsey. She could feel herself getting angry again but she was pretty happy and she didn't want to be angry right now. Instead she just sent a simple text in response, one that was uncharacteristically short for her. (@NessieAlways )

Dropping her phone beside her she grinned at Bri.


"I don't know why... But I do know that my heart almost gave out on me... I am most definitely crushing..."

Lindsey

"It says to be there by five, but I'm guessing we could be there earlier if we want. Lindsey threw the phone on the bed and grabbed her clothing to go change. Lindsey washed her face with a bar soap that was in the spare room restroom and then slipped into her jeans. She kept Tai's shirt so she could return Aubri's and then brushed her hair. Once Lindsey was done getting as ready as she could without her own toiletries, she grabbed the phone once more and read Ash's text. "Fine."

Feeling completely hopeless, Lindsey sat on the edge of the bed and stared at the phone. They can't really be that mad at me right? It was a mistake. I'm human too. Am I not allowed to make mistakes? Lindsey kept thinking about the night before wishing things had gone differently. She replayed the events over and over making herself sad again. She felt like the only person who could understand her at this moment was Opal, but she was half way across the country. Lindsey knew that she had to trust her friends, but they hadn't been there while she was in college. She had tried to keep in contact, but everyone was always too busy with their lives to talk to her. The only person she had talked to while she was at college was Carter, but he was drunk most of the time. Lindsey just didn't know what to make of this anymore.

I look at the message on Ash's phone to see a message asying Lin and Tai would be there around 5. I thought of Lindsey. Yesterday was just effed up and I just wanted everything to go smooth, but I was so caring for everyone it'd always get to me if they did something.





"Yeah you are girlie! James wouldn't just kiss for no reason, heck he's NEVER been that way with Lin, with any of us. Now maybe he's just emotional and trying to find an escape, either way you'll never know until you talk to him."


I had to be encouraging, but I had to be rational also. This could be a fling, or maybe not. I raise up and wink at Ashtin. I go to the living room where the men are eating.
