Just make sure to post your OC form at some point in the sign up, if you don't mind. It can be brief if it's easier for you: Name, Age, and a picture for appearance. I posted mine. :)

I posted it :) intros coming

Girls were disappearing in the neighboring towns and that had everyone on edge. Most parents were keeping daughters close to home and often girls were staying in groups to make sure they weren't the next to be found without any blood.

One girl was sitting out in the hall way after getting get out of class for saying something that was deemed out of line. So Sonya Valken sat outside her class room reading the Amtiyville Horror waiting for the day to end. It was the family poker night and Jacob and Billy were going to be there. She couldn't wait to see Jacob...her wonderful werewolf boyfriend of two years. She started to dig through her bag looking for her phone. She was kicked out she couldn't possibly get introuble for being on her phone in class. " Are you still coming over tonight?" she sent to the male who...was really her everything but he couldn't let him know that. It was better to keep him on his toes.

Once the bell rang for school to end she bounced up from her spot and got to her locker and started to get whatever she needed to get for the weekend. Oh man she couldn't wait to just get away from this school. There was some who scared her abit and that was the Cullens. Jacob had told her about them...what they were and what they were doing so she like Jake and the others in La Push thought it was the Cullens who were taking the girls. After she gathered everything and waited to see her best friend Rae hoping beyond hope that she wasn't with the vampire.

Things were tense...really tense and it caused everyone's mind to race. Sometimes it bothered him well when you could hear everyone's thoughts anything big could cause someone to go alittle on the nutty side of life. Edward was working abit of ahead of his classmates soon he and his family would be going "camping". He needed it he needed to get away from all the fear and worry that was going on. When the bell rang he closed his book and started to back up his warm gold eyes went to Rae before making his way to her.

" Do you need a ride home?" he asked looking at her. " My brother has his jeep so he can take the others home" he offered as he put his bag over his shoulder before holding his hand out for her to hand him her bag. He was a gentlemen....that was how he was raised. There was something about this human girl. He wasn't sure what it was she was something that brought him to her. She seemed older than most....in the ways she spoke or did things. Whatever it was he wanted to make sure she was safe. Her friend was "close" to the werewolves and no doubt at some point Rae would be around them and that worried him to no end. " You are not going to be alone this weekend are you?"

Over in La Push, Jacob was hard at work underneath his car. He didn't have all the parts he needed, so, whilst he saved for what he didn't have, he worked with he did, cause he was just that resourceful. He'd been so lost in his work he'd nearly missed the vibration of his cell phone in his back pocket. But know it could be Sun, he didn't hesitate to answer.

Wouldn't miss it! ;)

And he meant that, more so now than ever with all the murders going around outside of Forks. Luckily, nothing had hit this town yet; but that dread, that suspense, was setting him just a little on edge. Capable as he knew his girlfriend was, a human was no match for what could be out there, and judging from the coroners description, he was convinced, as was the rest of his pack, that it's a vampire that's been causing all the chaos. Not just a vampire, however, seven of them, more specifically? The Cullens. Even mentally, he hissed the name. His family had been on edge since they'd moved this way, and now, he knew he had good reason to be defensive. Like his father said, the treaty was they'd never cross their boarders, or bite, another human. And just how many women have gone missing and, for those bodies that have been found, with not a drop of blood in their system?

He felt a ripple down his spine, but even against the fire pulsing through his veins, he tried to stay calm and collected. Sun was his priority along with the pack, and he didn't want to show up tonight steaming over something she had nothing to worry about. As long as he was there, and he'd always be, she was the safest person on Earth. His only opposition would get what's coming to them.

"Jacob! Leave that car alone and come eat," Billy yelled to him, his wheelchair parked at the front door.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm comin'," he groaned, slipping out from underneath the vehicle and wincing at the grease that lined his exposed chest.

"And shower, too! You're not showing up at the poker game covered in oil!"

---

"Hmm?" Rae turned around, greeting Edward with a grateful smile as he held out his hand to take her bag. At his question she looked visibly relieved, her mom wasn't able to make it today, and their place wasn't that close to the school. Considering all the horrid stories she'd read that week about the missing persons cases, and the bodies showing up outside of town, the thought of walking home unnerved her to no end. "That would be lovely."

"Home alone? I usually am. My mom's got to work this weekend, and my sisters going to a slumber party. I know, I know, I have no social life. Why do you ask?" She inquired, and started to walk down the corridor, assuming Sun was waiting for her. She took it slow, though, enjoying the walk beside him. Considering her empathetic nature, his calmness put her at ease.

She smiled at the text just sending a simple I love you before leaning against her locker looking at things she would have to do before poker night started. Maybe she could get Rae to come and get her away from that monster. Sun stood straighter seeing her friend but made a face seeing Edward with her.

" You shouldn't be alone not with everything happening" he stated cooly trying to think how to make sure she was safe and not sound to creepy. " I'm sure that Alice would like to stay with you if your......"he paused hearing the Romanian's angry thoughts towards him. " Is to busy tonight" he said pausing. " You should not be alone"

Jacob smiled and responded with the same thing to his girlfriend, ignoring the taunting gaze from his father, who knew exactly what Jacob was doing.

"You always get that look on your face when you text her."

"Do not."

The old man simply chuckled, returning his piercing gaze to the television screen where it intensified, as he tried to engrossing himself in sports news again. Though Jacob git defensive, he was thrilled to know his father actually took a liking to Sun. She's wild, he says, and laughs a little, and she's fearless. Just like your mother.

Don't forget beautiful,
Jake always responded, blushing heavily afterwards, even through his bronze complexion.

---

"Sonya has a family and boyfriend thing going on." Rae told him, silently wishing she had that. Any of it. She perked up at the mention of Alice, though; she just loved her! "Mmm, well, if she wants to hang out tell her she's more than welcome to come over to my place this weekend, okay? She knows where I live. Don't worry, Edward, I'm a big girl. I make my own pancakes and everything," She winked his way, gently punching his shoulder as if that proved her strengths, though in reality she couldn't even cross the monkey bars. Had she n it always been cold herself, she'd have noticed just how icy his skin was. But she didn't, they'd hardly ever physically interacted, after all.

"Hey, Sun!" Rae greeted the lovely young womam warmly, well aware of the dislike between her closest friend and the Cullen boy, but she always tried to ignore it, hoping it'd fade out eventually. It never did. "So, Edward is dropping me off at home, okay? I just really don't want to walk back by myself, and I don't want you to have to walk me there. I know you live even further out."

" Are you sure?" she asked looking at her friend. " It's no trouble to take you home" she was about to say more when Edward cut her off. " I am going that way as well it will be easier if I take her" he said as Sun rolled her eyes abit. " Let me know when you are home Rae...call me don't text" she said shooting a look to Edward before starting off to her sage green mustang. She made a stop to get a Monster energy drink before heading to her home to start making food for poker night.

Edward shook his head when she rolled her eyes. She was gone thank God. He looked back at Rae. " I am sure Alice will be happy to stay with you. And it will put me at ease knowing you are not alone" he said as he started to walk with her to his car. Like always he opened the door for her and helped her in before going to his side and start the sliver car. " Do you need to go anywhere?"

"I will! Talk to you soon!" Rae said with a half smile, feeling slightly guilty she'd not taken up Sun's offer. Surely her friend understood, though, that Rae didn't want to put her out. That, and Rae liked the car rides with Edward, they were speedy, but calm, and he always played the music she liked.

"Aw, thanks," She told him, melting into the passenger seat she'd grown accustomed to. Hid car was just how she liked it, high class, lightning fast, and spacious enough for her long legs to be comfortable. She loved Sun's car, too, but Rae was a champagne girl on a beer budget.

What's for dinner gorgeous?

Jacob texted Sun, knowing her well enough to be certain she was preparing something mouthwatering. He was idly lounging on the couch as he waited for his father to finish getting ready for tonight. He didn't want to sound insensitive, but man, Billy really took his sweet time!

"Jacob, what time is it!"

"Four," He called, kicking his legs over the arm rest, his body having outgrown the sofa long ago. He stared at his phone and waited for texts, shivering as he heard howls in the distance, just his brethren speaking to one another.

" If you want we can go to Port Angeles and have supper" he offered looking over at her as he pulled out of the parking lot and started off already heading towards the small tourist town. " How is your family doing?" he asked looking back at the road. " You moved around a lot before coming here didn't you?"he asked as he started to pick up speed. All the Cullens where known for their speeding. Though he was sure Rae didn't mind it.

" Well I'm making bacon and cheese stuffed mushrooms, hot wings, fried tomatoes and my Aunt Caroline is bring her chicken and dumplings and a bunch of other stuff" she sent to him before going to change into a her new shirt. It was a maroon off the shoulder that said " Save the Olympia wolf" a small joke. Soon after changing her shirt she sent Jake a pic of a large wolf spider in her bath tub. " Come kill it!"

"Really? I'd love to. My mom won't be home till late, and my sister's at a friend house," She elaborated, lips twitching upwards at the thought of a longer drive. She contently settled back in the seat, turning on the heater lightly as a light rain sprinkled along the windshield.

She was a little surprised he'd asked, then again, one of the things she really liked about him was that he actually listened to what she was saying. "Oh... You know, dealing," her voice faded a little. "We moved all the time... It's tedious, and..."

Lonely.

--

Yum!! ...Oh, thats nasty. On the way, babe!

Within half an hour, Jake and his dad were pulling up in their little black car, parking along the curb just outside of Sonya's family's house. It was like a second home to them, honestly, he knew the places almost as well as his own, and he and Billy were basically relatives.

He helped his father out of the car and into his wheelchair, wheeling him up the driveway and onto the porch, where he knocked a knock Sun would recognize. It was almost musical.

"Sun! We're here!"

Billy chuckled at his sons enthusiasm, offering an elderly smile as they awaited granted access. The smells from the kitchen wafted through the house and outside, causing Jacob's stomach to audibly growl and rumble.

Edward nodded softly as he listened to her saw that her mother would be home late. Well hopefully she wouldn't be alone. That seemed to be a ever present thought in his mind. The need to protect her he had no idea why...he just wanted her safe. Human truly knew nothing of loneliness though he couldn't blame them though. He had lived more than 3 of their life times. " It will get better" he said his eyes going around. " We have moved around alot" he stated. " and atleast you are not being homeschooled"

~~~~~~
Sonya bolted for the door hearing it. She happily greeted them giving Billy a kiss on the cheek first before greeting Jake. " Dad is on his way with more snacks." she said than pulled away from Jake. " You can eat later go kill the spider" she siad pushing him to go kill the evil creatures. Here was the girl that would openly scream and yell at a vampire or put Paul in his place without blinking an eye but a spider? Hell no. She looked over at Billy. " Can I get you anything?" she offered." I just pulled some mushrooms out" she added. She had been raised that you are not just dating or marrying a boy but his family and you take care of them like their own.
"Mmm, I guess so," She hummed mallifluously in response, her head lulling to the left as she gazed out of the window, foliage and highway whizzing by as they gained speed. She didn't like the subject of school, there was a lot of backstory and it always made her anxiety kick in. After a few moments of debating, she finally found a subject change.
"How's your family?" She asked, but it was a gentle question, as she knew it was a trigger for some people. Edward had mentioned little of them other than Alice, and Rae was okay with just what he revealed to her, but she didn't want to make the whole car ride about her. It usually was.
"I haven't seen Alice in a while. I miss our bad movie nights at the cinema." She laughed lightly, remembering the few times she'd gone out with his sister.
---
Jake audibly groaned at the thought of waiting to eat, he was always starved! Once he got Billy over the threshold, he left the two to go get rid of the insect in Sun's room. It made him laugh incredulously every time; she'd date a wolf, but the sight of an oversized bug, like this wolf spider he found nestled in her bathroom, was like straight up apocalyptic panic.
--
"Mushrooms... You're quite the chef, I wish you'd lend some of that skill to my son," He laughed, politely refusing any food. "I'll wait till your father arrives. Don't worry, Sun, I'm alright."
He was really fond of her, she made a perfect match for his son, and Billy himself admired her unique personality, enough to see wild as enticing.
---
"You're a nasty thing, aren't you?" He crouched down to get a better look at it, unable to hide his appreciation for it's size. His expression turned pensive as he watched it inch along its expanding web, snatching up a gnat that'd fallen prey to the sticky silk. The way it devoured it's meal was gruesome, but Jake couldn't help relating to the spider as it returned to it's spot, only to nestle down in the silk once more. It made his thoughts drift to Spider-Man for a minute there, and he had to laugh- now there's something he could relate to! Not some ugly, furry arachnid.
"Alright, come on," He grabbed a little cup on the counter and scooped the spider up, one hand over the opening to keep it inside. He trotted back into the living room, holding up his captured insect and grinning to Sun. "Couldn't kill him, he's innocent!" He laughed heartily, "Open the door for me, will you? I'll let him outside. Something this size doesn't deserve to be killed."
Edward nodded abit looking at the road...just looking he didn't seem to be watching it much. He never did he was to fast. Moving his shoulders and neck as if to pop his neck he thought about is family. " They are fine. My mother is loving this small town" he said gently. " She always has." he said with laugh. " My father is keeping her and my sisters close" he stated. Ok he lied his mother and sisters were far better at protecting themselves than anyone knew.
" Alice is doing some early college classes online" he said shaking his head. " She wants to be some sort of artist" he said not able to remember what she said she wanted to do this time around. " Mom is excited about that wanting to put some of Alice's art work up in the house somewhere" he said shaking his head.
~~~

" I have no idea why he didn't have me go and get everything for tonight when I go out of school" Sonya fussed about her dad Ivan. Though most likely it would because of Sonya's driving and wanting her off the road. She was wild even when driving...a drunk bat out of hell with a cell phone was what Quil and Paul called her when they drove with her once.

" Jacob cook? ummm I'm a hellion not a miracle worker" she joked than jumped back. " Why!?! are you letting it live!" she nearly shrieked as she opened the door for him to let it. " Shift and take to La Push or something" she said her hands up. " And wash your hands cause you are not touching anything after touching that demon"

"I think that's a wonderful idea. Maybe she'll elaborate if she comes over this weekend," Rae wondered thoughtfully, brown eyes trained on the window still. "They sound lovely."

When they drove, she liked to focus on specific feelings so she wouldn't forget them while they're here: the way his car glided over the road, the light classical pieces that resonates from the speakers, the twitch of the speedometer as he drove faster and faster, but never with any consequences; most importantly, however, was his voice.

It was nostalgic, like she'd heard it before, and his presence brought about a sense of security, as if, even though they'd known each other for merely a few months, she could be assured she was safe, like in the company of a life long companion. Safe from expectations and obligations, manipulation and foreshadowing. But he also represented a challenge- would she ever know Edward past the Cullen reputation? Not for his name, his looks, his class- but just to know the man who had taken an interest in no one on campus, but her?

She chided her thoughts. He wasn't a puzzle. He was a person. She needed to just appreciate his company, before he left, just like everyone else. College wasn't too far away. If he didn't leave now, she'd probably never see him then.

---

Billy snickered at her comment, knowing all too well what she meant.

"Demon? Sun, that's harsh," Jacob retorted as she addressed him, but his pearly white grin showed he didn't really mind. He knew how she was, and honestly, he just liked getting a rise out of her. She'd get him dir that, later.

"Alright, alright, I'll find a spot." He headed outside and held up the cup to a towering evergreen on the neighbors lawn. Slowly but surely the wolf spider inched its way out, feeling the bark with its furry legs before it scurried up and into a squirrels hole.

"Don't go creating any super humans now," He joked, and then jogged back into the house, noisily washing his hands to make sure Sun knew he was 'clean'.

"All gone," He chirped, and then with one, swift notion pulled her into a hug, sweeping her off her feet and hugging her tight, but he tried not to hug too tight. "I missed you," He whispered to her, ignoring Billys lingering gaze.

" If you can understand her" he joked knowing that his sister tended to talk fast some times to fast that humans couldn't understand her. He pulled into the small sea side city. " What do you want to eat?" he asked as he stopped at a red light. The Cullens were all on a special diet well atleast that was the school and everyone else thought.

They had something most didn't. They could sit in silence for a long time it was nice...a simple thing most wouldn't like but Edward loved it. Most people...well everyone he could hear their thoughts but hers...hers he couldn't hear hers. " I am sure she will be over soon to tell her all about it"

~~~
She watched him fussing at him in Romanian mostly saying something along the line of how can he touched that thing he should have killed and he better not think about touching her after touching that thing. " Smart ass" she said hearing him wash his hands shaking her head. " How do we put up with him" she asked looking at Billy.
But her fussing ended when he hugged her. She wrapped her arms around him happily and hide her face in the crock of his neck for a moment. " I missed you too" she said gently pulling away from him hearing her father pull up. " lup meu" she said before pulling away. Ivan was a tall man who even though he was 5 when he moved to the states had abit of an accent in his voice. " Bout time you two go here....someone needs to talk sense into her and tell her to join a sport" Ivan fussed as Sonya took the bags from him. " I can't handle another year without her doing something"
*Lup meu is Romanian for my wolf)
"How about Bella Italia?" She suggested.
"I've heard so much hype about it, but... we never eat out, which leaves me
oh so curious," She said dramatically, a coquettish smile and the batting of her eyelashes hinting she really wanted to go.
It seemed like a place that matched them both: Candlelight, old town style, refreshingly mature compared their usual high school setting.
---
(Gotcha!)
"Hah, Sonya in a sport? I can't imagine her not getting bored." Jacob confessed, smiling at his nickname and taking a seat on the arm.of the couch. Well, he tried to, but when did so, he nearly tipped it over. He huffed irritably and took to standing instead.
"You might like basketball, though," He murmured, he knew she wouldn't really want to have this conversation.
"Or soft ball," Billy added, which surprised me, but then again, he did know his sports for someone so reserved and native.
"Or cheerleading," Jake snickered, knowing he'd get an earful for that suggestion.
He nodded as he turned the car gliding into a parking spot infront of the restaurant. He stepped out of the car in a swift yet graceful montion. She would pick a place like this. A place that if he was human he would enjoy...if. He ws putting his family at risk with this. If soemthing happened to her the wolves would say for sure that it was them. Rae hung arounf with the Cullens the Cullens were vampires so it had to be them. He had to stop himself from rolling his eyes at his thoughts before going and hoping the car door for her.
" I hope you enjoy this place" he siad with a smile.
" I'll do volleyball" Sun already plotting against Jake. She did one of two things gave you an ear full or did something to you. When she got mad at Paul she painted all his bars of soap with clear nail polish so they wouldn't lather when he took a shower. " I played volleyball at St. Francis and the coach here as been begging for me to join. I just have to get cleared by 2 doctors before I can play. Damn ACL" she huffed. Sonya for the first few years of her school life had gone to a private school but switched her the middle of her freshmen year.
" Well I'll call and see if I can get Dr. Cullen to see you next week' he father said than Sonya whined speaking in Romanian before saying the word strigoi. It was a word she always called the Cullens. " They are not strigoi you talk to your grandmother too much" Ivan said before going to get the poker table ready.
It didn't take long for the two to be seated, Rae had requested a booth near the back, beside a large window so she could checking the sky change colors while the time passed. It was a quarter till six, which meant the sky was just shifting from sunset gold and orange to an indigo blue. She propped her chin on her palm and gazed longingly through the glass, the rain seemed to have let up, but the clouds still lingered. She knew Sun would love to watch this with her, and suddenly she was frowning as she wondered why her friend disliked Edward so much. He was... lovely, to her.
"Hey, Edward... Why-"
"-Welcome to Bella Italiano, I'll be your waitress, Holly. Can I get you anything? Drinks maybe?" She asked, but completely ignored Rae, directing the questions to Edward with googly eyes.
---
Though Jake initially wanted to make a remark and agree with Sun, Billy had specifically said not to seem so against the Cullens to other people. It'd be suspicious, and eventually, they'd ask questions.
"I think I like your grandmother," Jacob snickered, agreeing with whatever the older woman might have said. "You'd be great at volleyball. Just hope you don't make the other girls too jealous," He winked her way, to which Billy clocked him on the back as he wheeled by. Course Jacob hardly felt anything.
"Jake! Go help her set the table!" His father told him firmly.
"Alright, alright, geez..." He headed into the kitchen, offering to help Sonya with whatever he could, which wasn't much considering he was kind of a big dork in the kitchen.
Edward really didn't notice the waitress much. He was more focused on Rae. " Coke" he said not even looking at the waitress his his on Rae. " Order whatever you want" he said hanging off the menu to the girl not even going to act like he was going to look at the menu. She knew his diet...well she thought she knew. " What were you about to ask me?" he questioned as he started to play with the cloth napkin that was on the counter.
~~
Sonya smiled as Jake started to help her get the food set out on the table. " You just like her because she thinks the Cullens are weird" she before moving and kissed him happily her head pressed against his for a moment before pulling away. " I guess you can eat because you got rid of the spider." she teased as she made him a plate. She checked her phone sighing seeing nothing from Rae. " Are you alive?" she sent. It was meant to sound like a joke but..." Send pic of you alive" she added.
"Oh... Alright," The waitress sighed, sending an icy look towards Rae before she headed off to give their order.
"Well..." She started with a silvery tone, lilting a little as she continued. She didn't really know how to ask him what she wanted to, she didn't want to pry, but she was curious. "I was wondering if you could tell me why you and Sonya seem to have this unspoken animosity between each other. Did... anything happen? Or is it just... natural distaste?"
She felt comfortable enough to ask him; Sonya never gave her an answer when Rae asked about her dislike towards the Cullens. She always just mumbled in Romanian and then changed the subject. But Rae liked them, all of them, and considering how ostracized she was from every school, the siblings made her feel like she... belonged. Even Rosalie, Emmett and Jasper greeted her, rarely, but they did!
She felt her phone buzz and laughed when she read the text. "Am I alive? Really?"
'Course I am, Sun! Edward and I are eating dinner. How's the poker game? Say hi to Jake for me' She responded. She rolled her eyes and held the phone over to Edward, "Can you take a picture of me? I need to send it to my body guard."
---
"Oh, thanks," Jacob rolled his eyes, kissing her back, but sighing when she pulled away. The whole high school scene kept them apart longer than he'd like, even when he rode his motorcycle over to break her out of there some days, that was a full six hours they didn't see each other. And when he watched Sam and Emily be affectionate and spend the evening together, he always felt a little... jealous.
He watched her expression changed to slightly worried as she pulled out her phone, texting lightning fast to he assumed Rae, the girl he'd only met a handful of times, but she always had the musky vampire scent on her, so he couldn't hang around her much. He frowned, "Is that Rae? Everything alright?"
Billy's head seemed to slowly turn at the mentioning of Rae, the young woman that Sun had briefly mentioned as a close friend of hers. But from what Jacob had told the old man, the girl was gradually befriending their enemies, and it always interested him on how that was happening, as well as why they even took the time to be around her.
(Beautiful!)
Edward shook his head and gently took her phone and snapped a picture and handed her the phone back. He sighed thinking about it. He couldn't just say Oh I am a vampire and one your friend comes from a country that still worry about their dead coming back and sucking their blood and her boyfriend is a werewolf who fills her head with lies. " I am not fully sure...I guess we just go off on the wrong foot and someone is to stubborn to try again. Plus La Push hates my family. Emmett got into a fight with someone out there and it went from there" he lied cooly. Well that part sounded better nad Emmett looked like he could have a temper.
~~~

She knew Jake hated that Sonya was in high school. But once she was done she would be going to a local college get her nursing degree and move to La Push. It was just a matter of time. She handed Jake her phone to read the text. " And yes I have told I don't know how many times to stay away from them" she added as she made herself a plate as her family started to fill in. " So over the weekend I get to g finally get Loki" she said happily. Loki being the husky puppy Sonya wanted to adopt and was just waiting for him to be old enough to come home." I'll bring him over" she said trying to keep the mood light before taking her phone. " Well my uncle Chris just got her...with melons an shotguns should be fun..sure you don't want to come?"

"Oh, that's a bummer. Yeah, her boyfriend... He doesn't really like me either," She admitted, remembering how he didn't even shake her hand. Sonya said he didn't mean anything by it, but the way his nose crinkled told her she wasn't his friend.

"Can't be helped, I guess," She shrugged, and then smiled at the mentioning of Emmett. She admired him for his obvious strength.

"So-"

"Two cokes," The waitress said abruptly and set them down. "And here's that pizza you ordered."

Rae sighed and thanked her, returning her gaze to Edward. She offered him a timid smile, her big, brown eyes on the window again.

'Next time, I swear. Love you!' She texted, genuinely sorry She couldn't make it. But... it was Edward she was eating with, and she just couldn't not be with him.

---

Jake scoffed and handed her phone back to her, shaking his head in response to Rae's whereabouts. He didn't mean to seem like he disliked her, but anyone who had a Cullen preference made him instantly defensive.

"Whatever, her loss she's missing out on a Hell of a good time tonight."

"Oh, really? Aweeesome," He said, eager to change the subject as well. Though the thought lingered, his interest for her soon to be pet changed his tone. "Can't wait, babe. I love dogs. Don't know why," He said jokingly, and Billy audibly laughed as well.

Edward nodded as their orders were brought. " some people just can not get along" he said gently. " It is nothing against the other but still. Some people are not meant to be friends" he said as he leaned back in his seat. " Have you started your college apps?" he asked knowing some JR's were wanting to get out of Forks so badly they were already applying to get out. " Any thoughts what you want to do?"he added playing with his drink not really drinking.

~~~
" No idea" she teased before kissing his cheek. After awhile poker night was pretty much over and after helping to carry some of her smaller cousins who had fallen asleep to their parents cars she walked inside looking at some of the late birthday presents she had gotten. Her birthdau had been last month...her father swore up and down when you have a child born in the summer they were meant to be wild. Sun was happily hugging her stuffed Toothless the dragon build a bear she had gotten. " Billy what will it take to trade Sonya for Jacob?" Ivan asked asked as he started to clean up.
Her face visibly fell at the mentioning of college, but her eyes remained glued to the windows, taking in the scenery as if just the mentioning of that would take all her freedom away.
"No..." She sighed. "I... Really don't want to spend the next four to six years in a classroom. It's miserable, confining... I mean, I could apply, but... why? There's a whole world out there waiting for me, and life's so short, I don't want to waste time. I wanna make the planet my classroom, and God my teacher."
She oozed with passion, a certain spark to her eye as she spoke. But as soon as she said it all, that flame fizzled out, upon realization that a dreamer only got so far in a world full of rules and critics. "But... I'll probably send in one or two. Sun's going to nursing, then off with her boyfriend. I don't know what I'll do.."
The night had gone on without worry, distraction or oppression. Rae hadn't texted back, which delighted Jacob as it meant he'd finally have Sun's full attention. He knew it sounded a little clingy, however, they had been wrapped up in each other since the start, so it wasn't anything new, either.
He came up to his girlfriend and hugged her from behind, grinning in a way that nearly mirrored her plush. He pecked her cheek, but dramatically rolled his eyes at their fathers conversing.
"Trade? Ohohoho," He laughed, genuinely amused. "I think you'll find Jacob is no less a handful. Stubborn as a bull, wild as a dog, and temperamental."
"Thanks, dad," Jake scoffed.
"And so is your daughter." He laughed, but with approval really.
"Sun? Stubborn? Nah," Jacob teased, snatching her plush and disappearing from view, eager to leave that conversation behind and start a game of cat and mouse....or dog, if you wanted to be accurate.
