For my Terrean character, I'm thinking about making him a human who is cursed to be a tree-spirit. And even though he's technically connected to a tree, if he steps outside the forest it's in, he becomes a ghost and cannot physically touch anything in the world. Would this be alright for the RP?

I like the idea, although being physically unable to touch anything might be a bit difficult xD
Especially since I expect the group to go traveling and all. So that'd mean you would be a ghost for the largest part of the RP, and I don't think that's a lot of fun to play. Maybe an alternative solution could work out?
(I'm too tired to think of anything now though. Hurray for getting sick~

Alternatively someone could carry a sprig of his tree around (yay curse loopholes). It'd be like Rocket and the little Grootling. When the Grootling was a stick. (Honestly I just find it super hilarious if of one of the party members was basically a ghost bound to a twig but ins)
Something that might work better is that he could be a river-spirit, but instead of being attached to a specific body of water (because it's sometimes really hard to tell where one body of water begins and another ends), he needs to rest in water of some sort to replenish his energy. He could probably go a day or two without water, but his strength will decline rapidly turning him more ghost-like until it kills him?

All we need to figure out is which character would be carrying your twig around. And it could be funny if they accidentally lose it at some point. The side-quest to find the stick back!
If nobody has a good reason to carry the twig with them, for example not having met your character prior to the game (or maybe we could play it out, why the hell not), the river spirit alternative can work out just as fine.
Don't worry too much about me :3 I just somehow managed to catch a cold. The weather was nice so I started wearing shirts again, but it might have been too chilly for that, I don't know. But my head is a bit stuffed. Not as bad as yesterday (hence the delay), but a bit annoying still.

I wanna do like a thousand things right now. Write, draw, whatever... But... I don't have the inspiration to write any of the stories I'm working on, and all my things for drawing nice stuff are at my room/apartment/place... I have a few more days of vacation left before my clasess start again, and I've spend the largest part of my vacation at my friend's house. She's away with her family, and I get to watch the little monsters adorable fluffballs (kittens)
