Lies of the Beautiful People

Yuka smiles, slightly, as she says, "Thanks, Rose..." She turns to the teacher. "I'm Yuka...Ootani Yuka..." She then thinks of something... "Do you know where the nurse's office is? I need to head there..." She shows her wounds to the teacher, which have darkened with bruises by now. She said, "They've gotten worse...not what I needed..." She looks at the teacher, waiting in pain

Emory was sick of waiting for Connor to take her where she needed to go. She turned to him "Connor, I am sick of waiting, take me to the principle or something." she said in a sturn voice.

"Fine, I will take you to my
leader,"Connor said. He got up with Emory and lead her down the hall, a sour glance at Alex and James before entering the school's main vein.

Antonia jumped up at the bell and gathered her things, shoving them into her bag. She slung it over her shoulder and looked at Micheal. "Keep up, boy," she said with a smirk, and spun around, weaving through the crowd that flowed out of the room and into the hallway, dodging the new current of students flooding into the classroom for their class. Toni maneuvered the school's foreign labrynith and emerged in the yard. She sat down at the fountain and released a breath, putting her bag down. Antonia looked at the door, waiting patiently for Michael. She couldn't remember the last time she flirted so vaguely yet wildly. It was fun, even though it meant almost nothing.

Alex returned Connor's bitter stare and rolled his eyes. He collected his sheet music and tucked it into his folder, then closed his notebook and put it into his bag, his folder next to it. He slung it over his shoulder and followed James out the door and into the hallway, not looking forward for the next class that was after the brief teacher break. At all. In fact, he hated it...

Chastity had just stared into space the whole time during music class. Ugh, it is finally OVER, she thought to herself. She just hated all of her classes. But, as all do. She rolled her eyes at Emory and Conner. When Conner came here, everything was fine. Then he comes skipping into the school, breaking all those pathetic girl's hearts. Not like she cared. But, deep down inside of her, there was a hint of gold. Maybe, she would make one friend here. Maybe. Well, she wanted just one. But, who would be her friend? Huh, nobody, she thought.

Michael kept up with ease, of course he couldn't weave between the students as well as she did, but the rest just got out of the way.

except for the most stuck-up of the students, who wanted him to move for them, and they just got floored.

he got out to the fountain barely a second after her.

as she looked at the door, he stood just behind her

"whatcha waiting for?"

(sorry for the long wait, i couldnt post for some reason *shrug*

"Oh, some whack-job student here," Antonia said with a sly smile. She scoot over and moved her bag for him to sit. Michael was interesting - she still hadn't figured him out. Maybe this "hang out" will help. She couldn't help but wonder again what he was thinking...

"huh yeah, i bet he's some loser anyway.. nothing like me" he said, jokingly

".. says the man who plays "fallout" every night" he never hesitated to make fun of himself.

at this time, his mind was focussed on 2 things.. finding those pricks who threw rocks at that japanese girl, and the fact that one of the streams on the fountain behind them was off-target and wetting the path.

he sat where her bag had been, he sat nothing like many of the others there, he sat hunched forward, with his legs apart and his elbows resting on them, this showed he wasn't one of these "tan salon and anorexia" students, his "beauty" was a combination of good genes and a good, hard life on a farm.

he smiled and nodded at a rather sad, nerdy girl walking past, she blushed and hurried along, now with a smile on her face.

"a smile can light up anyone's day, that's what my dad always told me"

Antonia only understood about 60% of what Michael said, but hesitated to ask. He was quite possibly destroying her English, she thought with a small smirk. She rolled her eyes when he smiled at teh nerdy but pretty girl in a flirtatious way - flirtatious in Spain, anyway. "That is a good thing to tell people," she agreed, and smiled a small smile. She wasn't really in any mood to smile wide, her mood a mixture of exhaustion, curiosity and low patience. She adjusted her position, sitting with her feet flat and back straight. Her belly dancing teacher would murder her if she didn't work on her posture - that could easily affect her muscle movement. Antonia rarely slouched - it was, for her, uncomfortable.

Cat walked out of the classroom quietly. She was the last one to get out. There was really no reason to rush. She started walking to her next class, rummaging around in her bookbag to make sure she had everything. Yep. Everything was in order. She shoved through the crowd of students, pushing her way around.

Rose waited until Yuka had complete directions and was on her way before walking up to the desk. "Do you mind directing me to the Main Office?" she asked. The woman nodded and pointed her in the right direction. As she milled through the hallway she spotted a boy and a girl walking in the same direction as her. Where they going to the main office too? Where they new like her?

Name: Brian Denley

Age: 16

Personailty: Brian is laid-back, if not slightly awkward. His sheepish but cheerful attitude had made him the apple in his parents' eyes. Although he may seem relaxed most of the time, Brian secretly seeks attention from those whom he loves. His optimism can be misleading; he is actually rather selfish and would lie to achieve what he wants.

History: Brian was born to a decent, loving family. He was a darling to his parents, with his charming smile and sheepish attitude. He had had a joyful and easy childhood, until his little brother, Matthew, was born. The attention that used to be his was transferred to Little Matt, and Brian's jealousy kept growing in secret. He hated his brother, until one day, he dropped Matt off a cliff. Reality of what he had done hit him hard the moment his baby brother slipped out of his hand. Unable to face his parents, Brian ran away in panic.

Appearance:

Crush: It is ridiculously easy for Brian to become attracted to a girl, being a boy with teenage hormones he is. After seeing Emory around Connor for a short while, he quickly became attracted to her appearance and the air of dominance about her.

Talent (s) : Brian's talent lies in sports. He is a natural athelete and enjoys almost every kind of sports,

Secret (optional) : He killed his little brother.

Other: none.

(Pleba you are approved.)

After talking with the princible, Emory was still a bit confused and scared, but shook that off, ditched Connor, and headed to her first class. All she wanted to do is keep a low profile, but that was very hard to do when a everyone you pass wave and call you the new girl. Walking down the hall to her dance class, she was as nervous as ever and was dreding dancing in front of a bunch of strangers. When she came to the door of the room, she took a deep sigh and gentally pushed the door open.

Brian has been here for a few weeks, but honestly, the place has never failed to excite him. Everything was brighter and prettier than usual, especially the girls. Gosh, the girls. They were one of the best things here. Of course, all the boys were gorgeous as well, which means a lot of competition for him. Especially that douchebag Connor. Seriously, the guy's got to stop hogging all the beautiful women.

He was in the dance class. He's not good or anything, but dancing is far more interesting than science and stuff. Then, at the corner of his eye, he saw the door open. Standing behind it was a girl - no, wait,
the girl. The new one. He's been watching her for a little while now, but Connor was always around and he didn't have a chance to talk. Now, though, Connor wasn't here. Maybe he could attempt a small talk or something. She's really pretty and all, and since she seemed to be outright annoyed by the famed heartbreaker, it should be worth a try, right?

Alex returned Connor's bitter stare and rolled his eyes. He collected his sheet music and tucked it into his folder, then closed his notebook and put it into his bag, his folder next to it. He slung it over his shoulder and followed James out the door and into the hallway, not looking forward for the next class that was after the brief teacher break. At all. In fact, he hated it...

With a sigh, Alex walked into his dance class. What was the point? He couldn't dance, he couldn't even

walk

right. He sighed and put his bag down, brushing hsi darkj bagns out of hsi eyes. That guy, Brian, was here....he was pretty cool, although Alex had never really talked to him. That new girl, Emory, was here....She was, in a word, stunning. However, she wasn't really Alex's "type", and he didn't he was her's. Alex sighed and decided to sneak in some writing before class started, pullinhg out his notebook and scribbling edits into his song. Maqybe he could work James's music into this one, somehow....

Emory sighed once again and stepped into the room, her heels making a lot of sound as she walked into the room. She looked around and settled on the chair next to a cue blonde boy. He was not anything special, but seemed sweet. She set herself in the chair and crossed her legs. Looking around she spotted the Alex kid she had met, she was shocked that he was taking dance.

Brian was elated when Emory took a seat next to him, and began tapping his foot eagerly. "Hey," he tried to give her his best grin. "You're the new girl, right? Having a good time? Um, I'm Brian. What's your name?" He asked, while his eyes took in her appearance. No kidding, the girl is gorgeous. Now, if Connor would only back off, he might actually have a chance with her.

Alex tried to bite back a grin. He could see poor Brian's desparation. It was easy to see, really, if you were like Alex on an emotional level. He couldn't really blame Brian - Emory really was aq beautiful girl. And, she independant, which was something all guys liked. However, Alex was not a "Connor" - he knew when to back off. Emory may just have shooed him away, anyway. Uh, who is this pathetic emo kid talking to me? Alex sighed and rolled his eyes at himself, then went back to scribbling down lyrics. If he was lucky, he wouldn't have to dance in this damn class, anyway,....

Emory looked up "I'm Emory." she said as she stuck her hand out for him to shake. "I was wondering do you know antone that can show me around?" she asked not even considering that maybe Brian could. She was used to boy hitting on her, but this guy was so all over he place, it was kind of cute. Smiling sweetly she waited for him o answere.

Brian took her hand without skipping a beat, giving it a sloppy shake. He was positive that his face must be flushed with eagerness when he replied, "I can. Show you around, that is. I've been here for a few weeks, but I still get lost sometimes. That's fine, though, we'll manage." His hand lingered on hers just a little longer than necessary, but he finally let go.

Emory giggled a little "Okay, so afer class then." she said with a sweet smile, as she genally swipped some loose hairs out of her face. Starting to fiddle with her neckless she hummed to herself.

(Sorry for short post, bit of writer's block."

"After class ends... yeah," Brian agreed absently; his mind was more focused on her giggles, and he secretly wondered what touching her hair might feel like. Suddenly, he realized that he was staring a little too much and was extremely close to outwardly drooling. Coughing awkwardly, he just scratched the back of his neck and looked away. Alex was beside him, scribbling away in his notebook. They haven't talked or anything yet, but he knew him because they have some classes together. Brian made a mental note to invite him to a game of basketball or something (later, maybe, after he showed Emory around.) He still hasn't made a lot of friends yet, and Alex seemed like a cool guy to befriend.

Alex gave a small smirk as he scribbled. Poor Brian, already wrapped around this girl's little finger. Hopefully, Emory wouldn't spit him out or mooch off of him like a lot of girls crawling around here do. His flirting was a bit secondary, but at least Brian was better then Alex at it.

Okay....Back to the song....Stop stalking people....

"Back to the abyss I must have crawled out of....Wont some one tell me it must be okay..." Alex read aloud quietly, as was a habit of his. He couldn't help but hate iut, but he was sure people would tell him it was actually really good. Like James. Bleh.....
