Sub. I mostly watch anime in sub aside froma very select few that I actually prefer in dub. Like No Game No Life, Pokemon, and Naruto

I usually try to find the dub for stuff but lately I've been watching a lot of sub. I prefer the sub for Demon Slayer. I started watching Dororo recently because of a sub clip I watched. Heard both and decided I preferred the sub. Then with Spy x Family I watched when it came out so before it was dubbed and now I can't watch the dub without feeling off. For me its what I first hear I think. Because then I associate the characters with those voices and it just feels off when hearing different voices. Or I just find one is better than the other. I'm not one of those sub vs dub people but I do find the original voices for Demon Slayer hold a lot more emotion in them than the English voices do.

But damn Pokemon was my whole childhood. I remember watching the anime on netflix when I was home from school one day. Think my favorite was XY and XYZ. But I really couldn't get into Sun and Moon. It felt too goofy despite being targeted towards a younger demographic. Like XY was a good balance of fun kid adventures and story but Sun and Moon just wasn't good at that. And that's the league he won too. Thinking about it again I think I always liked Indigo League better. That's the one I would watch over and over again on netflix because I considered it the best series. Loved the ditto episode when they copied team rocket. Still get all the games too. I seriously need to finish Legends Arceus. lol

I prefer the Demon Slayer sub too, they do have more emotion even though the Dub has some well-known anime VAs.

I have yet to someone who's childhood didn't involve pokemon in some way tbh

I'm not a sub vs. dub person either and I think I'm a little like you when it comes to that.
 
I've got a fun twist when the posts come out. So I can't wait to get that reveal out!

I got sword and shield too, though I never ended up doing a playthrough of shield. I think the plastic is still on it too lol I also got both of the diamond and pearl remakes. I barely got through diamond because then I got Legends Arceus and was hooked on that for a while. My brain just hyper fixates on stuff for a while I then I forget about all my other games. The only thing I'm doing right now is Stardew Valley on my switch. Meanwhile I've got a bunch of pokemon games to do.

They really do get you though with the two different legendries. I think for my first copy of the game I do just a normal playthrough of what I want, then with the second one I'll do a themed team. Only did it once with Let's Go and never finished it. I'm starting to see a patern with me and pokemon games lol

But I started doing a Let's Go Eevee playthrough with a Hawaiian themed team. My Eevee was named Lola and I wanted to give her a little hibiscus flower clip if they had something like that in the store. If I ever decided to do art of my team, she'd definitely have the hibiscus whether it was in the store or not.

I tried a themed playthrough of Sword. I did a playthrough where I played as an Electric type gym leader. My team consisted of, Galvantula (Replaced Vikavolt cause Galvantula is better, dont @ me.), Toxitricity for G-max and cause Toxitricity is just all around a strong Sp attacker, Alolan Raichu cause speed and psychic typing, becuase it had Surge Surfer which was a semi vital part of the team, Arctozolt, Magnezone cause holy sp attack Batman!, Luxray cause its just a cool pokemon and has decent coverage and could set Electric Terrain for Raichu.
 
In regards to Galvantula though and why I think its better, Compound Eyes + Wide Lens makes a Galvantula with Thunder hit like 97% of the time. Paired with Electric Terrain and STAB and its good Sp. Atk stat makes it a very good special sweeper.

Hey, I'm not arguing here. Its from Gen 5 and Black and White were my first pokemon games. I had White at my dad's place and sadly lost it because I stopped doing visitations with him. I had a 2ds and games that I lost. Wish I could've gotten that stuff back but I mean I've got consoles here so I guess its not too bad. But I got Black for my birthday here and that was the first one I did a full playthrough with. Galvantula was on my team for the whole playthrough. And in terms of looks, I like Galvantula's design better than Vikavolt.
