That's not a bad idea. I still want to treat it as a whole, of course, but if that's what we're down to do, I'm up for it. And I'm assuming you're talking about when we're on a bit of a plateau in posts?
Yeah. Like when we're waiting on someone else to post and stuff.

I hate reading my old writing so much 😢

Just went back over what we have in Intergalactic Feuds, and I'm dying of cringe. What in the world was I thinking 😭

My reply is ready! If we're deciding to continue running both roleplays alongside each other, then I'll post it.

wait for alpha to respond. No point continuing if she's not on board.
Hell yeah I'm on board! lol

Hate seeing rps die, especially when they were really fun.

Honestly, just same right there. I can never go back on my old work without cringing even a little bit.

now i have to go back and grab the posts from Serana and Joker lol

The Battle of Ironshire is finally happening! I'm really excited to see where this will go! We got a full on assault, all sides bro. And props to you for a great selection of theme music. God Shattering Star really helped to invoke a feeling of what was happening as I read the post. Felt like I was actually immersed into the moment.

And we can't forget the Death Knight casually dropping one of the coldest lines said in the entire role-play so far. Like c'mon, man. AMAZING scene, Kumii.

Not to distract from the amazingness, and I am pumped as well, but does this mean it happens like next post? Because we still need Finch, Serana and Joker to get to blacksmiths and to set everything up with Aiko and Lloyd.

Hmm, it could've but getting there in the craziness is better.

Everything can still happen in that way but now they have to contend with the invasion, makes for a more action packed scene.

The rp has lacked any true action sequences thus far, this invasion is supposed to supplant that as the first real action sequence

I can drag it out though if you really want it. Use the extra time for some exposition

Honestly, I would rather drag it out. Because I feel like if the full invasion happened, then it would make more sense for the gang to drop the idea of blacksmiths right now entirely and head into battle. Especially for Finch and Joker. Finch's literal job entails fighting the invasion and defending Ironshire, and he's not the type of person to just shrug it off for his own personal goals, and Joker is a vigilante type of character. Serana is really the only 'civilian' with them who wouldn't have ties to it, though I'm using that word very lightly when it comes to her because she can fight damn well. But from everything Serana's presented, it doesn't seem like she'd shrug off the invasion either. Knowing the three, it would be more likely and realistic for them to immediately jump into the fray instead of going to blacksmiths, but we still do need them to get there for the entire plotline we have planned to happen.

well then, it has to be quick. I can only drag it out so much.

We have the Lloyd saves Aiko plotline to do to introduce their characters, as Joker, Finch, and Serana heading to the blacksmith. I think that how fast we complete them relies solely on how we structure the events. If I take over the bandits assaulting Aiko and have Lloyd deal with them in that very post, than the interaction would be 2-4 posts long + any other exposition added. But if we decided to have Alpha control the bandits and I only control Lloyd fighting them, it'd take a bit longer. I'm not too certain on the matters with the Joker group, so I can't say anything with that.

My point with this is, I'm not certain how we'll do this quickly. Alpha, you got any suggestions here? Or even you, Kumii, on how exactly we can do this?

I actually did have an idea for the spirit slayers who were attacking Aiko as characters, though a loose idea. But I guess if we had to do it fast I could just switch them to regular old spirit slayers and let you take control of them to speed up the process. Though, we could just have them do only a little bit of fighting, a few traded blows between the spirit slayers and Lloyd (who will probably overpower him anyways as they would have more experience) before he just grabs Aiko and runs through the slums with the spirit slayers on their tails, only losing them when they get to the blacksmiths shop. I kind of imagined that's how this would go anyways.

I think that's probably the fastest it can go without the plotline completely suffering.

Well, the minute Serana, joker and finch link up with the blacksmith, i'm resuming the invasion. It's only magic bolts flying through the air right now so

That's an effective way right there. I'll won't prolong or emphasize on the battle. I think I'll just have a bit of combat go down and then Lloyd will do something that "freezes" the spirit slayers for a moment then he'll start running with Aiko.

I'm still not fully on track with the previous conversation, but won't Joker, Finch, and Serana still prepare to battle because of the bolts striking the city? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just curious, not against it in any sort of way.

I have a plan for Ironshire anyways, so the exposition between everyone is happening regardless of what actually happens
