Oooh, we don't have a lot of straight mages yet. It's really just been everyone with some kind of weapon, like a sword or spear, who can just use magic. I think Mateo might be the only one to date who's like a true mage in the whole 'only magic' respect.
Yup. I'll tell you this, his class is 'Astrologer' so he uses tarot cards as his main form of attacking but also means he's gonna be support too.

Oh my god I love that lol Its a interesting concept though. Definitely unique against the usual swords and spears of this rp.

So, Alpha, idk if you noticed in the Sisters of Fate character sheet, the Shifting Shepherds have an enemy gang. The Sand Dragons. This new antagonist is the leader of it so Harly would most likely know him.

Yeah, I noticed. We've got a few now. The Shifting Shepherds, the Sand Dragons, and the Garnet Raiders. The desert is definitely plagued with its fair share of criminal factions.

Am I correct in assuming that the Sand Dragons are gonna be the antagonists for the desert chapter, or are you just building up the world?

Nope, they're the antagonists. They're hunting the crystals and already have two and know Harly has the third one. So they've been hunting him

No wonder it took you forever to write a post. You had like a million words to type up xD

XD I know right. It took me a whole week since I said I was able to, but now you know why lol

Have fun reading
I'm a fast reader, so I just finished reading through it. Minus Aleph's since that doesn't concern me right now.

Last comment.

I quickly read through Aleph's post and Aleph's arm is looking great. That's a really good drawing, Alpha.

I love the design for Aleph's arm! It feels like a reference back to his clan while still being meaningful and true to Aleph himself. There's the dragon symbol and the color of the scales, which allude to him being a dragonslayer—or at least coming from a clan of them—while his distinction from them is demonstrated by his creativity. For example, the fact that Aleph thought to channel the current from the electrodes to provide a shock to his knuckles. It's a much more resilient battle technique than charging in with brute strength and power, and frankly, I don't think anyone in his clan would think the same way. Then there's the gear/lightning bolt heart. As stated in the paragraph, it's something true to him and referring to him wanting to find a path involving engineering and inventing. This is another difference from him and his clan.

As well as with the crossbow, yet another useful gadget that allows him to be safer and attack from a range, and the rotating hand, which I'm sure can have many capabilities. Sure, these are just minor-ish additions, but from my perspective, they're an indication of his contrast with the rest of his clan. In terms of intelligence, creativity, and whatnot.

The one detail I like the most is the hand symbol on the hand looks like (or maybe it IS) the Skyrim logo. It looks very similiar.

Thank you! I guess the arm is really just a big manifestation of his character. Where he came from, where he is now, his interests and whatnot. And your right in assuming no one in his clan would think of something like it, nor any of the other clans. They do have some intricate weapon designs, very Norse in nature where they have the spirals and lines and such, but nothing as creative as what Aleph came up with.

I didn't know it was the Skyrim logo actually, but I think I did reference it.

This specifically was the picture I referenced. I got it off of google images and liked the design, so I used it as inspiration for the symbol. I guess it did come out pretty similar though.
