Realistic or Modern Last Summer

♡Annabelle Natalia Moreau♡
Natalie rolled her eyes at the sight before her. With the puppy-dog pout, Sebastian was leaned foreward, apologizing to Audrey and explaining to her how 'he didn't mean it'.

What is she? A baby? She can handle the truth... On second thought, maybe she can't, Natalie pondered silently, still staring out the window. There were seldom clouds in the sky on such a hot summer day, but she distracted herself with the few wisps present in the sky.

Lifting her legs off Seb, she motioned towards Audrey, mouthing, 'go ahead.' Since he was so clearly occupied with Audrey, Natalia felt like her legs were holding him back. Still, that didn't keep her from being annoyed as hell.

They pulled up to the beach house shortly, and not a word was spoken to Sebastian after their incident with the fox. Hopping out of the car, she noticed Lucas standing in the driveway. A smile appeared on Natalie's face, as she waved wildly. Oh, how she missed Lucas and his dumb comments. They were quite good friends, and she was glad Paeyton had found him.

As another car pulled into the driveway, a timid Tom stepped out, carrying a monitor that was three times his size... An exaggeration, but it was still quite big and heavy looking. About to greet him, she held back. Natalie didn't need him running off, again.

Tom did his best to keep the pain from his eyes when Oliver ran up to him. He shook his head when Oliver asked if he needed help, shouting in reply. "No! No! I got it. I totally got it it's not even...That heavy. Tom hadn't meant to raise his voice, he was just nervous. He tried to act tough, standing up straighter and holding the computer even higher now. Oh god something's gonna break...Something's gonna break. Gonna get a hernia. Tom grit his teeth and mumbled a thanks to Oliver for getting the door. He groaned loudly when he saw the stairs, putting the computer down at the base of them.

Tom put his hands on his hips, huffing as he looked around.
"Yep this looks like a good spot to take a break. Not that I need one. I've been working out you know." He hadn't. Tom laughed nervously as he looked around, admiring where he'd be staying for the next month of his life. After he caught his breath, I mean got done taking in the view, he once again picked up the computer. "Thanks for your offer again Oliver. But I have definitely...Got this." It was all Tom could do not to groan in agony once he began walking up the steps, biting down on his lip hard. He continued up the stairs to the third(? Don't know where the room I have is located) floor, walking into the room he thought would be farthest away from everyone else. He dropped the computer with another huff, collapsing on the bed and wheezing. Thank god Eve isn't here to see me try and lift things.

Tom began hooking his computer up to the wall by his bed, throwing the doors to the balcony open. He didn't care about the view, he just wanted a cool breeze. He sat down in the chair at the desk, pulling things out of his backpack and placing them on top. He paused briefly when he realized he didn't know the wifi password. He shrugged and continued hooking everything up.
Ah well. Guess I'll play some Fallout while everyone gets settled in. Tom pulled his headphones over his ears and was officially gone to the rest of the world. It would take someone coming into the room and shaking him to snap him out of his trance.

(My way of giving everyone a chance to catch up, get to the beach house, etc:.)

Gabe had fallen asleep for a bit, but was jerked awake when the car came to a halt. He blinked, and looked outside. There was the beach house. He grinned, gave a cry of glee, and hopped out, grabbing his things.

He pushed his way inside, and whistled when he saw the interior. "Nice place," he said. "So, where is my room?" He was practically begging Paeyton to tell him.

Finally, after a long four hours of sitting in the car, Eve had arrived at the beach house.

With a gentle tug of the wheel, she parked the sleek, silver Jaguar right next to a black van, killing the engine soon after. She glanced over to the van curiously, before peeking out through her windshield, seeing that everyone else had arrived too.

Good, I got here just in time.

Eve smiled slightly, slipping her keys into her purse. Tugging on the door handle and pushing open the door, she was welcomed by the warm sun and salty sea air, making her sigh out of relaxation. Seeing movement out of the corner of her eye, Eve glanced to the side to see Annie, along with everyone else. Upon seeing them, she smiled, causing her cheeks to dimple.

"Hey, everyone!" She called out softly. The warm breeze rustled her white locks just slightly, and she reached up to tuck a strand behind her ear.

Audrey opened up the van door and stepped out. She stretched her legs and arms out wide, yawning as she did so. She never realized how sleepy she was.

She hears a soft voice call out, and she turns to meet Eve's tiny frame. "Eve! So nice to see you again." I smile, then grab my luggage from he van. The last thing she wanted was to look weak brave someone else carry her luggage.

That was a waste, though, cause when she turned around and saw Lucas, her body filled with a warm feeling that she desperately was missing. Ahh. A friend that was
not annoyed at her. She dropped her luggage, waves at Lucas, and mouths "Nice to see you. Things are a little hectic right now."

She turned back to her luggage, heaving it up and moving towards the beach house. On the way, she stops beside Paeyton. "The rooms?" She asks her, her arms skaing slightly from the heavy luggage.

She might have went a tiny bit overboard with packing.

Paeyton smiled as she seen Lucas, and just being close to him somewhat made her forget at they had been in disagreements lately "Missed you too" she said to him as he stepped away from her. Once it seemed everyone was inside she turned to them "Okay first thing, there are two sets of stairs that lead upstairs, I don't know why but there is. On this level is Alessandra, Lucas and mine, and Audrey's rooms" as she said the names she pointed towards their bedroom "Up these stairs is Gabriel, Sebastian, and Tom's rooms" she lead the way up the stairs quickly showing them the locations of their rooms. She went back down stairs and lead them to the other stair case " and here is Oliver, Eve, and Annabelle's room's" Once again pointed to each of their bedrooms.

Paeyton walked downstairs, the one room she didn't want them to know about just yet was the room where her aunt kept all the alcohol

all of the bedrooms besides 7, 8, 9 have queen size beds. 8,9 have a full size, 7 is king

Oliver quickly grabs his things and raced up the stairs, surpassing all of his friends. Once he reaches his room, he quickly goes inside and shuts the door behind him, quickly forgetting about all of his friends. Oliver had never been so on edge before and he knew that one more thing was to get to him he wasn't going to be able to control himself, he quickly opened the window and leaned his body out of it. Admiring the beautiful scenery before him, he grabbed his pack of cigarettes and you guessed it, started smoking. He really needed this. Suddenly all of the tension that had built up, quickly melted away. He sighed blissfully as he leaned against the window seal, he made sure all of the smoke went out of it, so it would not make his room smell but also so he wouldn't disturb his friends who don't agree with his nasty habits. "I'll meet back up with the rest of them after I stop feeling so sh*tty." He said to himself as he continued enjoying his smoke in peaceful bliss.

When Ales was a few minutes away she began wondering what to say to everyone. Of course, she saw them all the time, but this was still a big deal. When the house came into view she was pleasantly surprised. Their car wasn't there, but they probably had it in the garage. She carefully walked up to the front door and knocked, waiting patiently and looking at the front yard's landscaping.

Gabe glanced at the door when he heard a knock. He walked over, and turned the handle, pulling the door open. When he did, he found Ales outside. He smiled when he saw her, and his heart started beating. "Hey Aless! What took you so long? Everyone's here, so c'mon in!" he said, gesturing for her to enter.

"Thanks!" Ales said, taking a step in. She gave Gabe a quick hug and passed him, hurrying towards everyone else. She heard voices ahead and walked up to her group of friends, just finishing the tour. She hugged Annabelle tightly and squealed, "Hay! I missed you so much! I haven't seen you in like, a day!" She pulled away grinning and gave Paeyton a small nod of acknowledgement. The girl looked around for Thomas but didn't see him with everyone else. She set down her luggage, not worrying about it for now.

As Paeyton headed back towards her room she seen Aless, "Hey!!" she said excitingly, "your room is right there, we are also going out for Italian later for dinner" she pointed to Aless room. "Also maybe we could have a movie night, got the home theater all set up" she smiled at those gathered by the entry way. She went into the kitchen and got herself a drink, deciding to let everyone get settled in.

"So, Ales," Gabe said, walking up to her, "what took you so long? You drive or something?" Gabe yawned, and stretched. "I had to get up pretty early. Said goodbye to my younger siblings, got on a plane, slept a bit, and I mean a bit, and now I'm here." Gabe smiled at Ales when he finished. He really liked her, but didn't have the courage to tell her.

"Yeah. I had to. My bed begged me to stay and I listened to it." She sighed dramatically as if remembering their time together fondly. "Sorry I couldn't be here sooner. What kind of trouble did you guys get into already?" Ales asked with a small smile. She picked up her luggage and glanced over to her room.

As Audrey made it up to her room, she plopped her suitcase on her bed and started loading things into her dressers. Afterwards, she rain downstairs, her hair flowing behind her. She finds Peayton in the kitchen. Audrey pours herself a Coke in a glass and sips it slowly.

She turns to Paeyton with a questioning look on her face. "When are we going to the beach?"

Oliver finally had his fill of smoking so he decided to head back downstairs, as he was walking down he noticed all of his friends gathered at the bottom. He gave them all a reassuring smirk and made his way into the kitchen where Paeyton and Audrey were. Remembering the whole Fox incident earlier, he felt a twinge of guilt about the look he gave Audrey earlier. He didn't mean to look so mean but he knew he did, so he walked over to her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders, "Hello, doll." He smirks. "Sorry about the look earlier, wasn't exactly in the greatest of spirits." He pauses, "but you shouldn't care that much about an animal either so I mean.." he mumbled the last part of his sentence quietly.

Even though he said the last sentence quietly, she could still hear it. She tense up, removing his arm from her shoulders. "What do you mean I should care about it that much? They are living, they have family, they want life just as much as we do. So your saying that you just wanted me to let it die?" Audrey says coldly.

"You wanted to let it be run over and just leave it there? That's being a murder.
Especially if you see it before you hit it and have plenty of time to stop. You know what? Forget about it. You never meant your apology anyway." She turns to Paeyton. "We'll chat later." She looks coldly once again at Oliver, before stomping up the stairs to find Lucas. He was the only one that seemed to appreciate her at this moment.

Oliver sighs and runs his fingers through he nappy hair, he quickly goes after Audrey and grabs her arm. "C'Mon, dollface. I didn't mean it. Don't be mad at me sweetheart." He makes a puppy dog face, half serious half not. He may not seem like he cares but Audrey means a lot to him, and he doesn't want to ruin their friendship. First Annabelle, and now her. This is too much for him.

Before Paeyton could mention anything about the beach, Oliver came down, trying to get back on Audrey's good side. As she snapped back at him Paeyton who was now sitting on the counter stared at them, Paeyton knew how much this subject meant to Audrey. Once she stormed off with Oliver right behind her, Paeyton Finished her drink and walked into the home theater

Sebastian followed Paeyton into the theatre room, hopping off the couch and chased after the girl. He still didn't know the layout of the whole house, so he knew if he wanted to get anywhere he was going to have to refer to Paeyton. "Where are we going?" He asked with a cheeky little grin. He would have hung out upstairs with Audrey, but it seemed as if Oliver wanted to get back on her good side. "I'm going to have to follow you around until I learn where everything is in the house, if you're okay with that." He added, giving a little more insight on what he was doing.

Seb had meant to greet Lucas, but the boy was caught up with his girlfriend, so he decided to leave him alone. It wasn't a big deal though, they could probably play some games later on anyway.

Finally arriving at the grand 'ol beach house, Annabelle sat upright, peering out the window as Paeyton parked. As soon as the car came to a stop, Annabelle flung the doors open, disregarding her luggage, because, clearly, there were more important matters at hand. For one, she absolutely had to test out the bouncy-ness of her bed, and two, she needed a chocolate bar, badly.

Before they even managed up the steps, she saw a sleek silver Jaguar pull in. Pondering, she couldn't remember any of her friends driving Jaguars, so she assumed it was someone Paeyton knew, that hadn't been introduced to Anna yet. Then, out stepped Bunny. In awe, Annabelle watched as Evie greeted everyone, before running up and giving the girl the biggest hug she's ever managed to give, ever. And that's a pretty big, tight, suffocating hug.

"So... You're totally gonna let me drive it, right?" Annabelle winked, sliding an arm around Evie's shoulders.

Evie exchanged greetings with the rest of the group, and they all made their way inside, when another familiar face appeared. Receiving a tight hug--almost as tight as the one she had given--Annabelle laughed, seeing Ales speed into the house like she was sugar high.

Anna had remembered her luggage, and made a quick trip back to the van to retrieve it, arriving back just in time to hear Paeyton make the rooming announcement. A slight 'bleh' moment hit her, when she heard Oliver would be staying on the same floor, but she shook it off. Bounding up the stairs, Annabelle found her room, set her luggage down, strew clothes all over the room like she had been living there for a month, and proceeded to jump on the bed to--as she likes to say--"test out the bounce factor".

Finally, after a long ten minutes, Anna tired herself out. Making her way back down the stairs, she headed to the kitchen to find some refreshments, only to hear the whole argument Oliver was having with Audrey. He had been apologizing, and even following Audrey as she stormed away angrily.

"Wow, if only you tried that hard for our friendship, huh?" Annabelle murmured under her breath to herself, pouring a glass of orange juice. Feeling refreshed, Annabelle tossed away the negative thoughts, and wore a bright smile. She was so excited to be here; this house was huge. Time for exploring...

Paeyton was looking through the large shelf of DVD's when she heard Seb come in behind her. "well this is the lovely home theater room, but sure, it won't take long for you figure out where everything is" she smiled at him, continuing looking through the different movies. "Did you check out the gaming room yet?" she pulled one of the DVD's out of the shelf then turned to face him "Also what do you think of this place so far?"

Audrey sighed as Oliver grabbed her arm. "It's fine, okay? Just leave me alone." She yanks her arm away and follows Paeyton and Sebastian. She stands next to Sebastian, and sighs, leaning on his arm.

"Why is the world so complicated?" She asked him, looking up.When she sees Paeyton going through the stack of DvD's she cheers up a bit.

"Let's watch San Andreas! That's my favorite!"

Sebby shook his head, his eye lighting up at Pae's words. A game room? He didn't even know she had one. "This place has pretty much all the things my father's beach has, I'm definitely going to have fun." He leaned back in the theatre seat, closing his eyes and creating a thoughtful expression on his face. He didn't need to think about it, there was no way he couldn't like this place, but it was always better for him to think about his words before he said them. "Yeah, this place is great. If this wasn't our last summer here, I'd probably come back over and over."

It made him feel kind of sad that this was probably going to be the last time he'll see all of his friends together, but he knows this is all part of growing up, leaving behind his past and creating a new future. Seb only jumped slightly as he felt a head on his shoulder, but his fear was replaced with amusement when he heard Audrey's whine. "I don't know, it's one of life's mysteries." He joked.

Gabe sighed, rubbing the back of his head. "Audrey and Annabell were fighting over Seb again. I swear, it's like watching Medusa's sisters fight over who gets to kill the guy who cut off her head. What was that guy? Also, something about almost hitting a fox on the way here. Haven't talked to Tom yet. Can't wait to, though." Gabe then decided to ask Ales a personal questiob. "What about you? Have anyone special in your life?" Gabe smiled as he ended his speech.

@ThePumpkinQueen

Ales carefully listened to him, a small smile on her face until she was startled by his question. "Uh... no. Nope. Not at all." She lied. There was, but that would be impossible to say. "And you? Any lucky lady?" Alessandra asked the question to change the subject to him.
