Also i'm assuming this process takes time, the more complex the object is, the more time it takes. Since he would have to imagine all the small details . Correct me if i'm wrong though

That's exactly it. I probably should have mentioned he can't actually hurt anyone using his power due to a promise he made. If anyone ever attacks him he won't use his power to fight back.

It follows the story of a lazy-ass angel and incompetent fallen angel who decide they don't want the world to end, a witch-hunter army trying to decode a collection of badly written prophecies and the devil's search for the anti-christ who he kinda misplaced. It's very funny and written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman (Of Diskworld and Coraline fame respectively)
