@GingerBread Unkillable but only if he burns himself. The only reason why Shina hasn't died yet was cause she burned her body. If Nyx dies in a way other than being burned to death, he'll still die. Even a Phoenix's regenerating power won't last forever.

@GingerBread The hero doesn't necessarily have to kill the villain. And there are possible chances for more "heros" if Nyx feels like opening up to more people. That's what Shina was hinting. She wants Nyx to open up to more people and stop acting all tough when he can't.
