"I'm just here to learn I guess," Sabah chuckled. She realized she didn't have much of a story compared to these people about why shes here. Okay, well she did, but the whole, 'I found out my dad wasn't actually my dad, my real dad is a super rich oil guy' is not a story she wanted to tell the whole school. "My dad sent me here so I can take over his business," she continued, "But that's all boring stuff. You went to Iran? Do you travel a lot?" She began to realize it would be hard to talk about her life in Iran without people finding out her family situation. She looked at Marco and examined his appearance. He looked really strong. Not strong in a physical sense, although he seemed to be that as well. And he didn't seem strong in the sense that he went through a lot of emotional trauma, although for all she knew he could have. He seemed strong in the sense that he was disciplined and assertive.

Marco smiled. "I was flying over it on my way to a Military base in Iraq. I come from a Military family,I was to follow in my father's footsteps. I stayed at Al Assad Air Base with a few other team members. My mom however wanted me to try something else before I fully sign up for mitary. So here I am." Marco kept twirling his pencil, his gaze flew slightly off to the side

He remembered the nights the base was attacked. He never killed a man,he was simply assisting. Carrying ammo, logistics things along those lines. The base was usually under attack from small arms fire, mortar strikes and the occasional suicide bomber.

All of this was but a second in thought. His gaze fixed back to Sabah.

" So what's the family business?" Asked Marco. His thoughts began to wonder and he needed something to distract him.

Sabah was shocked to hear he was in the military. She didn't know Italy was involved in the war in Iraq, and she didn't expect a military person to talk to her. She didn't support the Iraq War, but she understood that its what his family expected of him.

"
My dad has an oil company." Sabah felt strange every time she called Khalil her dad, since she would never call him that to his face."I don't really support that kind of stuff, because its really bad for the environment and growing up I always thought of being something like an environmental engineer. But I mean taking over what my dad does can be good for me because I'll get a lot of money and I'll be able to make some changes in the oil industry."

She would also be able to get a lot of
stuff with that money, but that part didn't sound so great. She was still kind of thinking about how the boy was in the military. Does that mean he killed people that looked like me? Obviously, I'm Persian and not Iraqi, but could a European really tell the difference? Or does he only see my headscarf and my tan skin? Logically, she knew he wouldn't be talking to her if she reminded him of people he killed, but these insecurities still filled her head. She remembered the topic at hand.

"A lot of the time kids only do things their parents do, because they either feel pressured or its the best opportunity they have available." She said, trying to find out the way he felt about the military.

An oil company, Marco smiled a bit. Go figure, of course she would inherit a oil company in Iran. What else is there? It was good to hear she wanted to protect the environment but that sure was an ironic way to go about it.

Marco acknowledged her statement but he couldn't figure out if she meant it for her or for him.

"If you feel your being pressured or that's the best opportunity available, then you make one. Or you plant your feet and you fight against what's expected of you. "

Marco kept twirling his pencil. He was happy with his reply to her statement. He's felt like that all his life of cours . If you want something you go and get it. Simple as that.

"That's true, but I mean it would be crazy if I didn't want to inherit that. Most people would kill for that kind of opportunity, and if you don't believe in something the best way to change it is from the inside. So I guess that kind of is making your own opportunity," She said in reply to his comment. She was slightly disappointed he didn't relate to her remark to his own situation, but she understood. He probably believes he's doing the right thing, and its nearly impossible to change what a person believes. Besides, she doesn't know many people and it would not be wise to end one of her first real conversations with a political argument.

"Have you met many other people here? I've only talked to you, Bry and that tall kid, DJ." She said, trying to keep the conversation moving.

Pleasantly surprised that someone approached her first, Eli shifted her gaze to watch the girl walking towards her. Eli offered a sweet smile to Kristi. "First year? Same! Well, first day for me, actually," the blonde grinned. "Hey, you wanna sit? Nobody's sitting next to me," she offered, nodding her head towards the desk to her left.

"Welcome to Kingsgrove, I suppose? Anyway, what's your name? Where you from?" Kristi had asked her.

Eli shifted her body to position herself to face the other girl, crossing her legs. "
Thanks! I'm Eli, my brother Ryder and I flew here from California, actually." The younger Bradley explained, tucking a stand of silky blonde hair behind her ear, exposing her various ear-piercings. She had her first, and second holes done, along with a double cartilage piercing, her tragus, and her outer conch & helix.

A small smile tugged at Macrie's lips at the boy in front of her. He was funny, a trait that never failed to capture her attention. He also seemed reasonably brave, and even a little rebellious. He was interesting, and the blonde was all over it.

"Oh dearest me, we got a bad boy over here." She teased, adjusting her bag onto her shoulder. How had she not noticed this guy before? He seemed like the type she'd get along with. "I'm actually not the hall monitor, but you might wanna go back. Your class is gonna think you fell in." She said with a shrug.

The girl was tempted to flirt a little bit, but something kept her from doing so. Oh yeah, probably the fact that she doesn't flirt. Well, she does. But only with boys that are insignificant or can give her something useful. This boy didn't seem like an instrument, which meant that flirting would make her like him. Marcie doesn't genuinely like boys. That would be a catastrophe.

"Say, Ryder. Have you ever considered joining theater? You should." The girl said, deciding to focus on her business task and not on emotions. She pulled a flyer out of her bag, holding it out to the boy. "Tryouts are this afternoon. You should come." She added with a small smirk as she looked at him through her lashes.

"Yeah, sure, I'll sit here. Maybe I can get away from Aiden and his attempts to court me this way, and not have to get the STD from Justin, who doesn't seem to like me very much."

Kristi felt abnormally comforted by Eli's smile and offer to sit next to her.

Rather odd for someone to be so nice like that. I always feel like I'm the nice one, but I can't complain. Maybe she'll become my friend. Who knows?

"Eli? Well, pleasure to meet you," she said, sitting down at the desk left of her.

"So a Californian girl, huh," she started with a laugh. "I haven't met many people from California in Texas. Or maybe I have on farm tours, but I am not too sure."

Settling in her seat, Kristi leaned back and smiled back at her. Smiles were always a reassuring way to show someone you were nice, and have good intentions. Or for the most part, at least.

"Bet I don't look like much of a farmin' girl to you," she jokingly stated. "I normally don't dress in uniforms, but for this school, you have to. My normal attire back at home is pretty different. You've got your boots, your cowboy hat, your jeans, your flannel shirt. This is so formal for me."

Taking her phone out quickly and checking for messages, she glanced at the screen. Nothing new, and no new blackmail messages, to her relief.

"So, enough about me, tell me about yourself? What's it like where you live? Do anything cool? Any hobbies, etc.?"

Kristi was just trying to spark conversation and small talk. Sometimes, she was really good at it. Other times, not so much. She felt confident that Eli was a nice person. Maybe they would become friends. She smiled at her at first and even offered for Kristi to sit next to her. That was rather friendly. Maybe they would be friends, after all. Only time would tell.

@okaykarlee

Marco hung his head down. She meant the statement for him. Like most she was probably wondering why he was did what he did or why he wants to do what he wants to do.

"I do it because I love it. I love my country and I want to protect it. This is in response to what you mentioned earlier. I figured it was meant towards me after your previous response. Alot of people always question it why I do it." Marco paused for a brief moment then resumed.

"If you have any other related questions I'll gladly answer them, no one really outright ask me and the ones that do are usually really rude. " Marco chuckled as he remembered the different instances people rudely judged his choices.

Ryder chuckled at her sarcasm, tilting his head to the side as he admired her smile. He wasn't one to crush easily, but he was one to admit somebody was attractive when he saw them, flirt, and acknowledge that they were his type, but never usually invested himself in anybody. Marcie was gorgeous, and the teenage boy wouldn't mind getting to know her better. "
Theater?" He arched an eyebrow, glancing to the paper, then back to the girl. He reached out and retrieved the flyer from the others hand, examining it briefly.

He wasn't at all interested in any type of art, except for the drums, which wasn't much of an art to him, more of a way to get his anger out. Nevertheless, with a girl standing in front of you, batting her eyelashes, asking you to go to something, you almost can't find it within you to say anything but 'yes' instantaneously.

"
Will you be there?" He questioned, although he assumed she would be.

She giggled, "Nice to meet you too, Kristi," Eli put her pencil down on her desk, yawning quietly due to her lack of sleep. "These uniforms are formal for anybody, I think," she looked down at what she was currently wearing, and mentally compared it to her outfits at home. "I mean, I wear nice clothes, but never this fancy," she shrugged, secretly wondering how expensive the uniforms actually were, considering how expensive they looked. "They look even better on the boys though, just let me say that right now.." she mumbled as she eyed the various boys in the room, absolutely adoring the whole suit and tie thing. She laughed, returning her gaze to Kristi afterwords, as she asked about California, and what she liked to do there.

"
I love it, there's always adventures to be had and stuff to see and do, and there's always new people to meet and experience it all with, yaknow? It's very lively. The beaches are the best part, if you ask me. And the weather is usually perfect for going for a ride on my long-board, which I would probably say if my favorite thing to do." She nodded, smiling. "What do you do with your free time?"

Sabah froze for a moment when he began to speak. She did not expect for him to start talking about that. Sabah felt like a spotlight was being shone on her face. "Uh-um..." she stammered. "I didn't mean to be rude if my comment came off that way earlier."

@Gui

"Sounds just like what I had expected California to sound like," Kristi replied with a small laugh. "And the guys here look good in them? Yeah, I guess. Not really any my type here, to be honest. I'm staying away from the dating 'game,' for personal reasons I would like to not get into."

Kristi sighed. She knew she wasn't going to answer any questions as to why. She can't. Nobody can know about her past. She looked back at Eli.

Just not something she can know. Or anyone. I have to stay away from dating. Even just talking about it, I have to avoid.

"Now what do I do with my free time? Truth be told, I don't have much. I would either be working on the farm, doing school work, studying, practicing for competitive shooting competitions, stuff like that. But when I did happen to have free time, one of my favorite things to do was either shoot for fun at targets, or ride my horse or ATV around. It kind of depended on the day, though I leaned more towards my Horse. I would visit this one spot, occasionally, where no one knew about. Not too far from my house is a small little pond with a waterfall surrounded by the thick trees. The water was crystal clear, as beautiful as anything. I've always been outdoors girl at heart. That place really just was the epitome of what I loved in the outdoors. You couldn't ever beat that."

Kristi smiled as she stared off into blank space thinking of the place she was talking about. It was her little personal getaway. She didn't need a beach in the Bahamas. To her, her version of paradise was there. And she loved it dearly. To her, the great outdoors, surrounded by forests, mountains, rivers & lakes, and farmland were her type of paradise. But that one spot in particular was the epitome of it all.

"Anyway, yeah, that's what I do with my free time," she said, snapping out of it and looking back at Eli. "I can certainly say you've got that 'Californian Girl' look at in you," she said with a friendly laugh through her southern accent.

Marco could see she obviously felt bad.

" I didn't mean to come off rude. My apologies, all I'm saying is if you have any questions about it just ask me. Most people are rude about. I'm not saying you are, your actually very nice and attractive. " Marco smiled.

He felt slightly bad for making her think he was upset at her. Of course he aimed to correct that but he did mean everything he said. @sheep

Justin let out a growl in response to Aiden, glaring at his frenemy. “You better fucking talk to her.” He hissed angrily though he didn’t do much else, clenching his fists as he stared Aiden down. He didn’t move from his spot as he watched Aiden walk over to her. Backing up slowly, Justin let himself rest against the wall, watching as they talked before giving a surprised eyebrow raise when she hugged him.

Well that surely went well. She seemed to have flustered him enough.

Justin shook his head in amusement but didn’t bother going over to intervene. They seemed as though they were doing just fine now. Justin glanced back into the room. He could certainly all to Kiro right now but he didn’t feel like it. Maybe later at dinner or something. He was out of the class now and Justin was absolutely sure about not going back in. With that Justin turned around and began making his way to his room.

What better time than now to get his fix?

"Did you? So you're into girls? And guys? Or just girls. " Monroe watched her, she was just to cute when she got interested in something. All the questions brought her back to when it was the back to school dance when she had her first encounter with a female. She always knew, deep down that she wanted to involved with males and females, but the night at the dance had confirmed those feelings.

"I did, like foreal. Yes I'm into females and guys. Best of both worlds I guess." she laughed finishing off the last bite of her breakfast sandwich. She didn't even realize how interested Amira was in her sexuality, she just went along with it.

"I didn't mean it that way, sorry." Marco stopped twirling the pencil as he tried to focus on listening outside in the halls.

"Sure,if you didn't want to talk anymore your could've just said so " Marco chuckled as he finished his sentence he was obviously joking.

"I'm kidding. Lead the way miss."

Marco said as he waved her to pass by and go first

"Lucky you," Amira replied with a chuckle. So Monroe was bi. At least she was aware of her sexuality, Amira herself didn't really know where she stood anymore.

"And have you always known?" she asked after taking a bite of her sandwich, "That you liked girls as well?"

Aiden - The Hallway - M: Determined

When he heard that she was going to do, he stayed for a silent for a moment. Oh. Sighing for a moment, he crossed both of his hands behind his head as if he was thinking about something. Twitching a bit, he responds a little low as if he didn't want her to hear him.

"What ya eating?"

He was silently praying that she didn't hear him, but at the same time he wanted to eat with her. Maybe it was because he felt guilty about saying all of that stuff to her. He didn't know. When was the last time Aiden asked somebody out on a date? Either way, it was way less awkward than than how he was right now. What was wrong with him?

@Starchan

"I was going to make something. Why? Did you want to go out to eat?" She bluntly asked, her cheeks flaring up with embarrassment. She'd never been on a date before, due to her three brothers being so damned protective, and the fact that she never really cared. Studies were more important. Since she always excelled through school, she had no life or goals to be with anyone. Right now, that changed. Maybe trying to become at least friends with someone besides Justin was the right thing to do. "Have you eaten breakfast?" She questioned, her curious eyes passing over Aiden's face.

"
Woah, that sounds great," Eli fantasized, having always wished to have a horse of her own. She always loved them every since she was a little girl, and took riding lessons at one point, but sort of ended up forgetting about it as she got busier with school activities and her job.

"I can certainly say you've got that 'Californian Girl' look at in you," Kristi laughed, causing Eli to laugh along as well. "Do I really? I mean, people do say the girls all look the same around there," she shrugged, then smiled, a small dimple indenting in her cheek.

Bry saw Aiden talking with a girl. He clenched his fist and walked over to them. "Aiden. Just thought of something. Last night I couldn't sleep and I broke into the concert hall. We could go there and blow off classes." He grinned mischievously.

Gerard stepped back into the classroom "Class still hasn't started?" They thought, slumping back into their seat, huffing, when suddenly their phone buzzed off, they ignored it at first, then I Don't Care by Fall Out Boy started blaring from their phone, meaning someone was calling them. God damnit Alice. They pulled out their phone from their back pocket, sending a text to Alice saying they were in class, they then slid their phone back into their pocket and slid down the seat.

Stuffed and feeling significantly better about life in general, Dj walked out of the cafeteria. He’d noticed different groups talking but didn’t really want to speak to any of them. Whenever he was eating Dj was more focused on getting the food into his mouth. Talking could be for before or after that process. Never during. There were plenty of people still walking the halls and Dj wondered if class was even going to be worth going to.

He knew however the moment his father heard that he had missed a class it would be his ass when they were on break. So with that Dj made his way to the class, already seeing that there were plenty of people sitting around and chatting. He saw the girl from before and shot her a small smile before sitting next to someone else.

“Hope you don’t mind me sitting here.” He said, looking over at them with a small smile. “All the other seats seem to either be taken and the ones that aren’t don’t really have nice looking people next to them. You look nice though. Name’s Dj. You are?

Was the light on? Or was it off? Why was it so hot in the room? Did he even care?

A goofy chuckle escaped the lips of Justin as he fell onto his bed. As soon as he had gotten into his room he’d made sure to look the door to get himself ready for what was about to be done. He’d turned off the main lights and flicked on his lava lamps. They gave odd colors, their shapes contorting into this and that on the wall as they moved around. A small fan rumbled in the corner of the room as it had gotten very hot in his room as it usually did whenever he used any fire for his activities.

He had taken the sin and was now in the process of letting it take over his mind. Over his body. Goodness, nothing feels better than this.

Shirtless, the young man stared up at the ceiling, letting the drug pump through his veins and the music mess with his mind.
