Kingsgrove Academy (Mature, Realistic Roleplay) [WIP]

Bryan Greenwells

"Oh. Aiden went off with this girl and blew off all classes. There was no reason for me to be in classes so I broke into the concert hall and played piano for the rest of the day."

"I see," said Amira with a smile, "I--"

~Briiiiiiiiiiiiing!

At that moment, the bell rang, cutting her off. Amira quickly downed the rest of her drink and shot up from her seat, hoisting her bag onto her shoulder.

"Oh, God, we have to go," Amira said to Monroe, "I have English first period. You?"

@Kbunnyy

"I see," Amira said to her while she was finishing her coffee off and putting the cup back in her bag. "I--" the school bell cut Amira off and made Monroe almost fall off of her seat

"Shit." She muttered under her breath, she didn't want to be late of the first day! She didn't even know where her class was.

"Oh god, we have to go," Monroe nodded to Amira. " I have creative writing, then anatomy. I have no idea where my creative writing class is."

@Sibelle Grey

Joel blinked innocently and nodded, picking at his food.

"I don't exactly know who Aiden is... I think I somehow lost my only friend though so things aren't exactly going great..."

Leonard Alcantara

Leonard stood near the pool,grateful for the minutes by himself without the voices of anyone in his mind. The only person inside this particular room was him. He had lost the account of how much of vodka he had put into his body already,but it didn't seem to be important. Alcohol made him forget. The effect didn't usually last long in him,but it wasn't important.

For now,he had forgotten about his father. He had forgotten about his fight. And he had forgotten the hate boiling up inside of him.

He picked his phone and looked at a particular contact,the only person he wanted to talk to. Oh,who cares? He could as well call him.

"Hey Joel...I'm on the third pool right now,do you wanna hang out?"

His voice was obviously sounding drunk,which annoyed Leonard immensely. He rose suddenly from the table,wanting to leave the room.

But suddenly his mind rolled around and blanked,the alcohol blinding his thoughts as Leonard fell down into the pool,his last conscious thought being about the coldness of the water.

Joel answered his phone and blinked when he heard Leonard. The guy had hurt his feelings. He sighed and got up from the table.

"Excuse me." He mumbled, leaving.

The small teen headed to the pool and walked through the doors, not seeing Leonard. His heart fell, think he had been tricked. He walked to the edge of the water, his eyes widening as he saw Leonard.

The teen panicked and dived in, quickly struggling to pull him out of the water. He realised he wasn't breathing. He didn't know what else to do. So he pushed on his chest a little before giving mouth to mouth. CPR was the right thing, right?

Leonard was unresponsive for a while as Joel tried to wake him up,no response for the CPR as he remained completely still.

Inside his mind,it felt like trying to dive out of a dark river,but he was too deep to swim up. The water was everywhere and he didn't even know where the surface was anymore.

I don't wanna die.

He kept pushing up,unwilling to give up fighting for his life. A small light seemed to appear in the surface and he held onto it.

The air finally pushed into his lungs as Joel continued with the CPR and Leonard coughed,throwing up the water inside of him.

Joel quickly pulled away as Leonard coughed up the water. That was gross. He sat back, shivering from the cold water that now clung to his clothes. Damn, his anemia would act up again now.

The smaller teen looked at Leonard, seeming annoyed. He was still upset for being left, he had cried already multiple times.

"You're alive. Be grateful. What did you want?"

Leonard looked up at Joel,still confused about what had happened. His clothes were dripping and he just seemed tired as he laid down on the edge on the pool.

"I'm sorry. I should have warned you before I left. That was...selfish. But my sister called me saying that my father wounded her and I lost my mind. I had to leave and tell him where I think he should put his money and how I'm going to kill him if he ever hits my sister again."

He closed his eyes,putting his head against the cold surface of the ground. His entire body hurt,and his lungs seemed to be on fire. He was nearly regretting the fact that he was alive.

"Bye." He mumbled. He wished that his brain could shut up. All that was running through his mind was Aiden. Aiden Aiden Aiden. He wished he could stop thinking about him. What was wrong with him? Why does this person in particular keep fixating himself in his head.

His phone rang suddenly. He picked it up seeing it was his Mom and answered it, "Hi Mom." he said in a dull tone.

"Hey sweetie. What's wrong you sound upset?"

"It's nothing."

"Bryan Tobias Greenwells. I have raised you by myself for 17 years. Tell me what's wrong."

"It's just Aiden."

"What's up with him?"

"He went off with this girl and skipped all classes."

"And?"

"And he just left me. He blanked me and ran off with her and I can't stop thinking about him."

"Oh Bry," the lady giggled. "You'll realize soon enough. I'll speak with you in the morning. Oh and call me when you figure it out,"

The raven haired boy sighed, "Bye Mom."

"Bye sweetie."

He hung up the phone and got up. Maybe a walk will clear his head.

Joel didn't look at him. He didn't know what to say. He didn't even know if he forgave him. He should, he knew he should, it wasn't Leonard's fault really. He had had a hard time.

But when Joel had been left, he had gotten very sick. He had panicked and cried, making himself so much worse than normal. He anxieties had told him Leonard didn't want him. Eventually, the small teen had collapsed, passing out.

He had woken up, still upset. He had cried some more, before taking some medication and cleaning himself up. He had gone to get food, only to lose his appetite and pick at it. Before getting the call from Leonard.

Leonard noticed Joel's silence,an emotional pain growing inside him to accompany the physical. He couldn't even imagine what the boy had felt when he had left him by himself,needing him by his side.

"I'm sorry...I don't...deserve to be forgiven. I only hurt people. That's the only thing I can do right."

He opened his eyes and watched the water over the pool,considering how easier things would be if Joel hadn't appeared. He would still be inside the water and all his problems would be solved.

"You should have left me there."

Joel suddenly turned and hit him, hard, tears in his eyes.

"Don't you ever say that!" He yelled, the tears falling. He didn't know. He didn't know how he had lost his second brother.

Everything had been fine, until the storm came. Joel's big brother, Lewis, had been with him and some classmates on a field trip. They had been studying a river for geography.

Now, it was raining hard and they were headed back to the coach. Until Joel had slipped, falling into the river. He couldn't swim against the power of the water in the storm, he had begun to drown. Until Lewis had jumped in, pushing him out.

But Lewis didn't make it out too. He was washed away. Joel had cried, his teacher's holding him back from going after him.

That day he had lost his big brother.

Joel was in tears as the memories flooded back to him. He collapsed to his knees, sobbing quietly.

@KaalysBR

Leonard touched his face lightly where he had been slapped,feeling the burn in his skin. He didn't understand what had caused the reaction,he was only telling the truth.

When Joel collapsed in front of him he gasped,thinking that he had caused the reaction. He pulled himself forward and hugged Joel tightly,running one hand through his wet hair like he used to do.

"Joel...I'm so sorry...I didn't mean to..."

Joel cried against his chest, clinging to Leonard's wet shirt. He was shaking, trying to make himself calm down. But it was too much. He had blocked the memory out up until that point. And it damn hurt now.

"You don't get to decided that... I'll save anyone. I'll give my life. Because I should be dead... I'm the one who should have died... Not him..." He sobbed. It must have meant nothing to Leonard, being complete ramble to him.

Leonard caressed Joel's hair gently,not knowing what else to do to help him. He kept his arms around him tightly as he heard the ramble,which only made him more confused.

"Joel...you are an amazing person,of course you deserve to be alive. I...don't know who you're talking about but I'm sure they wouldn't want you to waste your life away like that. I'm...really grateful that you saved me."

The last part was a lie,as Leonard still half wished that he was in the bottle of the pool. But he wouldn't tell that to Joel.

Joel sobbed quietly for a while, not bothering to explain himself. He calmed down, hugging Leonard tightly.

"I'm sorry I got angry... I was scared you would leave me... Please don't die..." He whispered, unable to make his voice work anymore.

The teen felt pretty sick, he knew he had gone pale. He was right, the cold had messed with his anemia a lot. He shivered violently, freezing cold to touch.

Leonard replied to Joel's hold with the same tightness,holding onto the smaller boy like he was a safe rope. And he actually had been one.

"I'm...never leaving you. And I'm not going to die. I promise."

He felt the coldness of Joel's skin and knew that he couldn't leave the boy in there shivering,his anemia would get too severe. He rose from the ground and pulled Joel along with him,stumbling a bit as he left the pool room. His legs hurt and Leonard felt like he would pass out,but he didn't get even close to dropping Joel. He would die before falling with the boy in his arms.

Leonard opened their room and walked to the bathroom,opening the hot shower on top of them without bothering to take their clothes off.

Joel curled up against the other's chest as he was carried to their room. He was so cold and dizzy, he felt awful. He shivered uncontrollably, whimpering a little quietly.

As he was placed under the hot shower, his temperatures quickly rose. He stopped shivering, but did go faint and fall against the wall.

"I don't feel too good..."

Leonard lowered his body towards Joel in the shower,placing one hand gently in his forehead. His temperature was normalizing,but he still looked like he was about to pass out in front of him.

"I think you need to rest,another shot won't help now."

Leonard pulled Joel gently out of the bath,removing the boy's wet clothes quickly. He was so focused on helping that he didn't even pay attention to the fact that the boy was naked in front of him. He quickly found a towel to dry him off and a t-shirt that would almost looked like a dress on Joel.

He placed the boy on his bed after he was done,pulling the covers on top of him.

Leonard was still dripping,but he was too exhausted to remove his own clothes. He simply allowed his body to slid through the wall as he closed his eyes and laid on the ground.

@JoelHPIS

Joel blushed heavily when he had realised he was naked in front of Leonard. But he was quickly dressed and laid in bed. He curled up under the blankets, rolling onto his side to look at Leonard hazily.

"Leonard... Were you drinking...?" He asked quietly. He could have sworn he had smelt alcohol on the other's breath earlier.

@KaalysBR

Marcos eyes widened and his eyebrows raised. He was surprised she was a shooter. Not because of her Gender but because,we'll she didn't look the type.

"What a surprise, your a shooter?"

Marco asked,sure she just said she was gonna check the range but he just had to confirm.

"I'm headed there to, we can head out together of you'd like. Unless you rather the peace and quiet to yourself." Marco asked once more. This was he might be able to see her skills. Maybe se was an amateur or a pro. Better yet, maybe she has tactical experience or maybe she's just a sports shooter. Marco was curious,highly curious.

@Jennifer Shotain

Kristi grinned slightly to his question. She found it interesting that so many people didn't take her for the type to shoot firearms.

"Why yes, I do. I shoot competitively in the US, under the United States Practical Shooting Association. I do things like three gun competitions, stuff like that. I got a scholarship from them to here to further my academic and competitive shooting career. I started getting into it a year ago, and I won every match I was in. I was so good that I turned so many heads and kind of got a bit popular from it," she said, ending with a small laugh.

"Sorry, I brag about it sometimes. It's what I'm most proud of."

He then went on to ask her if she'd like to shoot with her. Kristi could never let up an opportunity to show off her skills in a humble way.

"Sure," she said getting up and looking at him.

"C'mon, let's go," said Kristi as she started walking towards the range. "So tell me, how are you involved in shooting? Competitive or recreational, although that's really something only in the US, or big there, at least, since we have a right to gun ownership."

@Gui

Leonard felt his face go red with embarrassment at Joel's question. He pushed himself to his feet with difficulty,going to his wardrobe to grab a few dry clothes.

"Yeah. That's why I fell down in the pool. I have a drinking problem,and even though I knew that I shouldn't be drinking I just... couldn't stop. I had to blur my thoughts somehow."

He changed his wet clothes to something dry and comfortable,glad that they both still had the leave from the infirmary's nurse. He felt like he could fall down at any moment,and that wasn't the best state to be in a classroom.

Leo dragged himself to his bed,falling down by Joel's side and looking at the ceiling.
