"There's nothing better than the life I loved back at home. Kingsgrove, however, offered me an opportunity to really advance my academic and competitive shooting career. And being that the United States Practical Shooting Association gave me a hefty scholarship here, I couldn't turn it down. The more I think about it, the more ironic I find it that the USPSA gave me a scholarship outside of the US," she said back to Eli, after her comment about what she described sounded great.

"You really have no idea how gorgeous it was. If only I had a picture with me to show you that place. Though, a picture doesn't do it justice," she added, before sighing.

Eli seemed rather friendly and nice, which is somewhat of a parallel of what she has encountered at Kingsgrove so far. She found a lot of people to either be full of themselves and self centered, or the classic snotty rich kids. Sure, Kristi had wealth in her family, but her family taught her to work hard for it. And she would on the farm those countless days.

Eli then asked her is all 'Californian Girls' looked the same.

"Well, I mean, I can't exactly say what they are supposed to look like, but you look like you could fit the description of one, at least from what I have heard. There's just this look associated with that title that I can't quite describe, but you've got that look in you I could say is similar to what I imagined they would look like. And I'm not saying this as a bad thing. No, no! Not at all! I'm just saying you got that look in you."

Kristi leaned back and her chair and yawned.

"Time zone difference isn't something I'm quite used to yet. I'm still tired."

Rubbing her eyes as they filled up with tears as she yawned, she looked away from Eli.

Hope it doesn't look like I'm crying. I hate when you yawn and it does. Also, I am acting way more friendly and outgoing then I had intended to today. I guess that's just who I am? Friends aren't a bad thing. You just got to make sure they're really there for you.

"So, tell me, Eli, have you ever ridden a horse?"

"I can only imagine," she giggled, wishing she had the experience of living in the country. She had always wondered what it was like, to wake up and hear the birds, rather than the hum of traffic. It seemed so much ore simplistic.

"
Yeah, I mean, the long blonde hair and manicured nails, and a golden tan...Can't get more classic white girl than that," she teased, wiggling her eyebrows. "All I need is a 30$ plastic Starbucks cup to carry around," Eli said, laughing softly. She was actually a bit drowsy herself, but she always was in the morning. She was never a morning person, even as a kid she always slept in late.

"So, tell me, Eli, have you ever ridden a horse?"

The blonde grinned, "
Yeah, I took riding lessons when I was younger, my foster family always wanted to make me like them, so they payed for that for about four years, until the Ranch I rode at shut down," she explained, shrugging a little. "I always felt so free on the back of a horse, like I could conquer anything," she sighed at the distant memory, wishing she could be back there at some point within her life.

Marcie raised an eyebrow at Ryder, putting a hand on her hip. "Of course I'll be there. Every afternoon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays." She paused to lean in with a smirk, "I'm the president of the club, after all."

Green eyes shone playfully as she gestured to the flyer
. "All you gotta do is read some lines, and perform, and memorize all your lines, and commit fully, and sell your soul to me. Not to mention that I'll need your social security number, as well." Marcelina joked. Well, mostly joked. Theater club wouldn't require his social security, but it would most likely require his soul. Partially because it was a lot of work, and partially because Marcie just loved to reap souls.

A slim pale wrist reached out to touch his shoulder lightly, as the blonde stepped forward.
"I've got to go, but maybe I'll see you." She said, before withdrawing her hand and strutting past. About two feet behind him though, she stopped again, "Oh, and Ryder? My number is on the flyer if you... have any questions." She said with a wink, before leaving to wreak more havoc among the halls.

Ryder nodded as she confirmed what he had assumed,

So...she is one of those theater girls...cute. He thought.

He then shrugged. "
We'll see, sweet cheeks, but, if you're about to rob me of my soul you've at least gotta let me take you out to dinner first," he stated, his voice filled with nothing but charm. He was half kidding, but he wouldn't be if Marcie were to actually take him up on his offer. Just then, her hand was on his shoulder and before he knew it she was winking at him, and walking away, hips swaying dangerously as she did so. "See ya, babe," he called after her.

Hot damn, Ryder thought, shaking his head with a chuckle before running a hand through his hair.

"Oh yeah, you can't forget the Starbucks part," Kristi said with a laugh, trying not to be too loud.

Classic white girls love Starbucks. I don't go there that often. ...Okay, that's a lie. I love Starbucks. It is stereotypical. But they're soooooo good.

As Kristi listened to Eli explain how she felt about horses, she could only nod in response. Kristi had known that feeling all too well. Sitting on a horse and riding it around was one of the most amazing feelings their was. There was something about a horse that just felt so much more free and surreal than that of an ATV or any motor vehicle, for that matter. It was almost dreamlike, and it reminded her of what were once simpler times in the world, where technology such as cars were nonexistent, and hard labor is how you made it in the world.

"There really is something just so surreal about riding a horse that you can't beat," she said, staring off into space with a slight smile. It was the truth about horses. There is nothing like it.

Malaya just exited the administration office after being late to the orientation. She finds herself in the main hallway, a thin stack of papers in one hand and her phone in the other.

Malaya was still in disbelief even as she stood in Kingsgrove. She could not believe she was so far from home, and for a school she only knew about after getting a scholarship offer. She was fine just attended her school in LA despite the raunchiness of her peers. I guess it gives me a better chance at colleges, she thought to herself as she exited from the administration office.

Malaya was, for the first time in a long time, truly nervous. She was in a new place and knew no one, she barely even knew about the school for crying out loud! She decided to stop complaining though knowing that she would never be able to grow and like the school if she always thought negatively.

She continued down the hall, filing through her papers after slipping her phone into her coat pocket. Her goal of the day was to find her room, find her locker, and maybe meet a few new people.

~After classes

The end of the academic block. It is 3:30 p.m., officially tea time or free time, followed by the sports and arts block until six.

Joel hadn't had a good day really. He was worked up and anxious and his anemia had been messing his life up once more. He was quiet and kept away from people most of the day. He had no idea where Leonard had gone. But he was hungry. So he made his way down to the dining hall.

The small teen sat alone as he ate a little, not feeling great. He didn't really like being alone in such big places. It made him pretty anxious.

(Open to anyone)

Well, an interesting day I had. More so an interesting morning, than anything. All I really can say is Aiden... What an interesting fellow who won't give up on hitting on me. I swear to god, I could scratch my arm, and he'll come up with some really sexual, crazy thing to say all I'm attempt to get in my pants. It's sad, really. But there are guys like that out there. God knows I have dealt with them before... I also made a name for myself with someone. According to Justin, I'm 'Bullshitter Girl". But, that is my fault. I did bullshit him to mess around with him for my own enjoyment. Then again, he is so full of himself.

With school out now, I should head over to the range, and get some practice in. I'd be surprised if they had anything similar to the US here, considering the US is gun friendly. But, we'll see.

As the young girl walked out of school, she headed straight for the dorms. She wanted to change into something more casual for now, something that reminded her of home. Approaching her dorm, she opened it up and walked inside. It was really a nice little place for a school dorm. But then again, Kingsgrove is for the elite and wealthy, so it should only be expected that the school would have nice dorms with the kind of money they get.

Putting her stuff down and opening her drawers, she searched through and found an outfit that reminded her of back home. Grabbing a pink button up shirt, a white undershirt, blue jeans, and her cowgirl boots. She was going to grab the cowgirl hat, but instead opted to take a camo hat. It would be easier to wear that while shooting at the range. She quickly undressed and slipped into her casual attire. She sat down for a minute, admiring the feeling of home from her clothes. She missed it dearly.

Kristi got up, and walked to the door. Twisting the handle, she opened the door and walked out. Soon, she was back outside. Walmong down around the campus, she found a small bench. She debated for a minute if she wanted to sit down or get to the range right away. After much debate, she sat down and decided to take a couple of minutes, and look at the campus around her and take in the couple of days she has had here so far.

The day was over and Bry had walked into the dining hall. He grabbed himself a plate of mashed potatoes and walked over to a boy sat alone. "Excuse me," He said. "Um... can I sit here?"

@JoelHPIS

Joel jumped when he heard someone speak to him and nervously nodded a little. He cursed his anxiety for making him seem so nervous around him. The guy would probably be freaked out by him already. He sullenly picked at his food, realising another person probably thought he was a weirdo.

"Thanks," Bry sat down across the boy. "I'm Bryan but everyone calls me Bry."

Joel looked up at him from across the table, ignoring his food for a moment. This guy hadn't ignored him or called him a weirdo. He didn't quite understand.

"I-I'm Joel... But everyone calls me the freak..."

Bryan Greenwells

He ate a fork full of mashed potatoes before speaking, "Why,"

Joel stared at him, seeming bewildered. Nobody had ever asked why. They just agreed that he was a freak and bullied him.

"B-Because I don't talk normally... Because I'm quiet and can't be around a lot of people. Because I'm bad at socialising..."

Aiden - Walking Towards Dorms - M: Determined

Aiden and Astrid were walking towards the dorms, making sure security wasn't running around. They may or may have not gotten burgers from the joint across the street. Astrid ordered something else, but Aiden had gotten an abundance of things.

Okay, none of it was anywhere near healthy but he didn't care.

Looking down at the shorter girl, he began to look around.
"Wanna hang in my room? You're not completely uncool, ya know." It was a joke of course, but he was definitely waiting for a clap back from the girl.

"That doesn't make you a freak. That just makes you, you." He ate more mashed potatoes. "Anyway, how was your first day?"

(OOC: I really want mashed potatoes now...)

From the hallway, Malaya makes her way towards the cafeteria, figuring that that's where people would be.

According to her schedule, it was the end of the academic block. She was a little glad that she did not have to go to class earlier but felt as though she missed out. Malaya decided to find her way towards the cafeteria. She didn't eat breakfast that morning, and her stomach was already rumbling. The first day of swim was today, and she would not be able to function well with low energy.

Upon entering the cafeteria, she noticed that it had already attracted a crowd. She looked around and observed her new schoolmates, wondering who she think she'd be compatible with and secretly judging those she assumed she would not get along with.

"Well, I'm not sure if you're cool enough to be in my presence, princess." She smirked, patting his shoulder. "I'd be glad to hang out for a while. Just until four though, I have a swim team meeting." The smaller girl was happy with the day, her and Aiden bonding slightly over lunch. She ordered a chicken burger, Greek salad and a vanilla milkshake, when Aiden had ordered twice that amount of food. She laughed at him, teasing him as he ate. They ending up splitting the bill after Aiden insisted that he pay, his reputation shattering before her. He was pretty great! Now she was back at school, the two going to the rest of their classes and meeting up again at his dorm. Astrid smiled up at him, her hand still on his shoulder. " Open the door then, it's cold out here!" She joked.

Aiden - Dorms - M: Stealthy

Aiden nodded down at her as they made their way down the hallway in a fast pace. Quickly unlocking his door, Hildegard and Tyler were already there, rolling blunts. They both shot their heads up noticing Astrid being gently pushed inside so that a security guard doesn't catch her. Hildi rolled her eyes while Tyler waved excitedly.

"Hey, scary girl!" He greeted her promptly.

Aiden decided to formally introduce his two best friends.
"Asstrid , this is Tyler. He's not mentally ill, he's just not one of the sharpened crayons in the batch. He's smart at some stuff though, so I gotta give it to him." Looking over to the female being handed a burger, he clapped his hands together once. "That's Hildegard. She's pretty damn gay, so if you catch her checking you out just act like you don't notice. This is Astrid, guys."

"Hey Trid." They both say in unison.

Of course he wasn't great with introductions, but it was all he got. He jumped on his bed leaning back on the black sheets.
"Wanna smoke? This is the shit we do before newspaper club."

@Starchan

Astrid wandered into the room, glancing around at the various items of Aiden's domain. Pretty tasteful decor, well, at least to her standards. She waved to Tyler and Hildegard, ignoring how she was introduced as Asstrid. The smaller female nodded to Hildi, giving her a sly wink, then turned to Tyler; responding to his greeting. "Hello." Her smile was wide now, her eyes glinting with curiosity. As Aiden did, she sat down on the corner of his bed, nodding her head. "I would love to smoke a bit before swimming. Tha- wait. Newspaper club? Can I join?"

@MikkiAli

"lucky you."

@Kbunnyy[/URL]
"Lucky you," Amira said then she laughed. She was glad she told someone. It was like a weight lifted off on her shoulders. Like a breath of fresh air but, she didn't just want anyone to know. Bi-sexuality wasn't some people found very appeasing, they called a slut and greedy when all she wanted was to love who ever she wanted, it didn't matter if boy or girl. She found them both to be very beautiful creatures.

"And have you always known?"Amira asked her and made her jump out of her thoughts and back into reality. "That you liked girls as well?" Monroe thought for a moment, biting the skin on her upper lip.

"I guess I have. I've always liked both, male and females. I guess I really realized when i was about 13"

Marco stepped out of the men's restroom in dark grey cargo pants,boots and a tight black shirt with the Italian flag on each bicep. Marco had free time and he felt it necessary to get familiar with the range this school could provide. He knew that it would be up to par to the ones he's used to.

As Marco walked out the building and through the courtyard he spotted a familiar face. Kr...kris....Kristi was her name. Marco approached her as she sat at a bench contemplating life he assumed.

"Hey,enjoying the weather I take it?" Marco asked with a smile as he tilted his body to the side causing his face to be at her level.

@Jennifer Shotain

Joel shrugged a little, shaking his head.

"I didn't really go. I didn't feel well." He admitted. He felt guilty for not going, but he really hadn't felt well at all earlier.

@MuffinRPs

As Kristi sat there, staring and enjoying the peace and quiet and reflecting on the past couple of days, an unfamiliar voice spoke to her.

Snapping out of it, she turned to look in the direction of the voice that she had heard. When she located the source of the sound, it appeared to be the one guy that had kissed her on the cheek in the morning.

"Marco, right," she said with an eyebrow raised and a smile back at him, trying to think of his name.

"Anyway, yes. I'm just enjoying the moment right now and looking out into the sky and the trees around us before I head on over to the shooting range to practice some."
