🌹 Jazz Bellz🌹
The blue hooded Luminary ran off, leaving her... Well, to call it a lackey would be both appropriate and grossly inaccurate at the same time. Jazz materialized her Keyblade, slashing through a creeper as it appeared from thin air.
"Alright guys, we got a live one! Focus up, and make sure you follow through with every attack! Your target isn't inside of the giant Nobody, but through it!"
She snapped her arm and her whips materialized, swinging to parry the tendrils of nothingness. Fragments sprayed off and nipped at her body. Painful, but not as bad as taking the hit directly.
💕Ria Arnoldo 💞
"Hello? Can you all hear me?" A mid-tone feminine voice rang inside of the heart of every member of the group fighting the Twilight Thorn. "No time for proper introductions, my name is Ria and I'm the Land of Departure eye in the sky." The voice seemed rushed, cutting itself off for a second. "Sorry, I'm on the line with a lot of people right now, big catastrophe and all. If you need any questions answered or anything, just think a message to me and I can send a response ASAP. Here's a freebie: the Twilight Thorn is near invulnerable anywhere except its head, if you wanna do some real damage to it, attack the head!"

🌌REW🌌
Rew fell back as the Nobody faded. He felt a sigh of relief wash over him, the group managing to pull off a win, the first of many he'd hoped. The world didn't seem to want to let him rest though, a sudden earthquake filling his body with adrenaline. When all the shaking stopped he managed to get up. He felt a twinge of pain looking at the wreckage, the books he'd never get to read, the stories he'd never know about, the memories he made here. He knew that they weren't gone, it still hurt to see a place he cared for fall apart. He walked to a table that was snapped in half from a bookshelf and saw one that he often checked out and reread, the spine was bent however he still held it with reverence. He was brought out of his thoughts by screams and panic, the echoes of more destruction around them.

A second later he was nearly knocked over as students of all sizes rushed by him. "If what's attacking our home doesn't kill me, the students might," Rew had quietly said to no one. When the Moogle popped up, Rew looked over the wares before deciding on a small capsule that had the word 'tent' on it. Never know when we'll need one, he thought. He looked to the Moogle, hoping it'd be okay here. He was about to leave when he heard a small cry coming from a chair. A young wielder sat on it while another comforted them. Taking the bent book he crouched to them. "I know that it's scary out there. It'll be ok though don't fret. Me and the others are gonna find out what's happening and stop it. Until then," he held up the book, "would you do me a favor and keep an eye on this book. It is really important to me and I don't want it damaged more. If you want you can even read it while you wait." He handed over the book, the young wielder hesitantly taking it, the tears now held back. "I'm really scared right now so you being so brave, and helping me, I'm getting extra courage from that." He smiled at the wielder then gave them a hug, running off after the group.

When they got to the courtyard Rew was surprised to see the other group near them. "Huh fancy seeing you all here." Rew was in awe over the Twilight Thorn, he'd only read about Nobodies of this size never thinking he'd see one. He took a breath to ready himself for the fight, glad that the groups had reconnected. Rew hardly saw the person on top of the massive creature, it wasn't until they were on the ground he got a look at them. The pin and the fact that the Nobody seemed to take orders from her must've meant she was a Luminarie meaning that the fight went to them. When the woman ran off, Rew tried to pursue her "Wait!" he yelled running after her. The sudden wall stopped him and more Nobodies showing up didn't help either. With his keyblade in hand, he fought them. The sudden voice in his head caught him off guard, a strike from the enemy nearly hitting him. Rew tried to think of an idea, rejoining with the others to fight with them. There had to be a way to reach it and knock it to the ground. He looked at Revealed Wanderer, then got an idea. "Odd question does anyone here have training in surviving a fall?"

📙- riza - 📙
"A-ah, thanks...!" Riza wasn't really expecting the compliment from Harmony, but she was certainly grateful for it.

Being useful was something she always sought to do, especially in a team; she didn't want to slow anyone down, even if she wasn't a powerhouse. Fortunately, that nifty little trick from her father was very rarely not handy, whether for mundane purposes or serious ones like the situation they all found themselves in now.

Giving a small wave as the Moogle took its leave, she took a deep breath, adjusting her glasses and hat back on, taking the opportunity to brace herself for the coming battle. Chances were, it'd be tougher than the one the team just went through...but they had been training for this their whole time here, heck, some had probably been training their whole lives for a moment like this, right? So losing her nerve wasn't an option - though admittedly, the cheers and encouragement from their fellow trainees was helpful in keeping said nerve...even if it also made her cheeks become significantly more flushed than she would have liked.

Riza quickly followed the rest of her teammates, her boots clicking against the floor as they made it out to the courtyard, the soothing effects of fresh morning air quickly overtaken by the sight of the massive Nobody standing over them, clearly the source of the rumbles from before. After a few seconds, she remembered it from her studies as one faced by Roxas, though her knowledge on that wasn't as strong as it would have been on some other enemies.

Her eyes scanned over the creature, eventually landing on the person who stood atop the Twilight Thorn's head. Specifically, it landed on the glint of sunlight on her pin, orange and put over her heart, immediately marking her as a Luminary. Her gut twisted and stirred at the sight of one, especially so soon into their journey, but she kept silent, trying to swallow her dread back down. The blast threw her out of that state of mind quickly, the small girl dodging and quickly smacking at any nearby Creepers with Admirer's Oasis. Trying to follow Jazz's instructions, she nearly jumped at the voice she heard inside her own heart, glancing between her allies for a second to be sure they were hearing it too and she wasn't losing her mind for that second.

'Okay, so the head's the weak point...we just gotta get up there...' she thought, figuring her Flowmotion could be helpful. At the very least, everyone was here again to try and fight this thing and its cohorts, so hopefully their numbers and whatever strategy they came up with could take it out before anyone got seriously hurt.

"U-um, if it helps, I have Flowmotion...! I-I can't say I'm great at controlling it, but it should help with getting up to its head...!" she offered. Hearing Rew's question, she asked, her attention still mostly on trying to take out the smaller Nobodies attacking them all; "Does any crash-landing count...?"

Ayanami

The sudden voice intruding her mind was definitely a startle at first, but was glad to hear it was an ally. It was strange and new to her that a keyblade weilder could have such an ability. How fascinating, to be a keyblade weilder among talented people like this. She runs towards the twilight thorn, keeping her advice in mind. She turns briefly to see her allies coming along, and arrives next to a fellow group member.

"Glad I'm not the only one who decided to come at it. You say you have flowmotion? I don't think there's anything nearby that could let you slide up there, but if you want, I could give you a boost and toss you up to it's head. We would need an opening that gives us time to do that though." she says, racking her brain for any potential plans.

Should I use a stop spell? It'd be a high use of energy, but it would allow a critical weakness to show on the twilight thorn. Hmm, maybe it'd be best to wait for the rest. I know Dawn can use her aerial magic to give herself and others the ability to jump greater heights. However, the idea of relying on her doesn't sound great. I can't and shouldn't do that to someone. A keyblade wielder's greatest strength comes from within. Darn. I suppose in the meantime, I can do this.

Ayanami throws her keyblade at the twilight thorn, rocketing it at his head with her power.

The Land of Departure: The Library - Gaku & Harmony

"You're welcome!" Harmony replied back to Riza with a smile. Harmony turned to the Moogle in response to its comment. "We appreciate your hard work! Stay safe!" As the Moogle went away, Gaku approached Harmony by her side in urgency. "Get to the Courtyard. We got trouble." He said before leaving the Library in haste. Harmony looked over her shoulder towards the window Gaku peered through earlier while she shopped for items. She began to ponder what Gaku saw outside that got him up in arms. As she became concerned for what lies ahead, her worries fade away as the trainees the group saved earlier gave her a boost of confidence. With determination, Harmony exclaimed "Let's go show them what happens when the enemy messes with the Keyblade Coalition!" before she leaves the Library heading to the Courtyard.

The Land of Departure: Courtyard - Gaku & Harmony

Catching up with Gaku, the duo made their way to the courtyard along with Team A with Team B following from a different direction. Before the group of budding Keyblade Masters stands a towering monstrosity of a Nobody, Twilight Thorn. The giant Nobody brought a human figure from their head to the ground with its hand. Gaku and Harmony observed the figure's orange pin over their heart confirming to a Luminary. Gaku couldn't notice her face, but careful observation of malice spoken through her lips in view made him furrow his face as he summoned his Shibuya's Reaper Keyblade. Harmony attempted to focus in on the Luminary with her scan ability, but she got quickly interrupted by the Twilight Thorn's sudden summoning of Creepers against the Keyblade Wielders. She horizontally slashed one of the Creepers away while sidestepping another Creeper's attack before lunging a combo that results the Nobody to fade into nothingness. At the same time, Gaku blocked the thorny tendrils sent by the Twilight Thorn towards while suffering a few scratches. Unfazed, Gaku stood his ground while smirking. "Tsk Tsk. . . That's the best you got?"

After Harmony dispatched the third Creeper, she gets caught off guard by a sudden voice emitted in her head. "Eep! Wasn't not expecting a voice in my head that's not my own!" Guess I'm not the only psychic around here. With the voice introduced as Ria, Harmony learns that the only way to defeat the Twilight Thorn would be to whack its head enough. She checked her surroundings to see that the group got the same message as they began to sound off ideas to reach the Nobody's head. Harmony looked over to Gaku who seemingly attempting to aggro the Twilight Thorn. She wondered if Gaku heard Ria's voice given how her psychic abilities don't seem to have an effect on Gaku. Brushing said thoughts aside, she looked over to Riza to begin formulating a strategy. So she says she uses Flowmotion. Perhaps. . . She looked over to Jazz who has her Keyblade transformed into whips. Oh! This could work! She pointed to Jazz's keyblade whips and stated her strategy. "Use your whips to grab ahold of the Nobody! Along with one other person, we can use her Flowmotion to grind the whip to the head and start damaging it! I'll keep the Creepers at bay!"

"U-um, if it helps, I have Flowmotion...! I-I can't say I'm great at controlling it, but it should help with getting up to its head...!"

"Glad I'm not the only one who decided to come at it. You say you have flowmotion? I don't think there's anything nearby that could let you slide up there, but if you want, I could give you a boost and toss you up to it's head. We would need an opening that gives us time to do that though."

(On mobile)
Jazz Bellz
Jazz's brow furrowed as she kept some of the Creeper's at-bay. She could hear the planning behind her, but her mind was locked in on the battle. Her first master had taught her about how to focus in battle, tune out the distractions, waste no thought nor movement on anything but survival and winning. Her mind was already, admittedly, quite empty so that was easy. What would be hard was working as a team. Her mind on the battle the sounds of planning washed over her ears, like waves against the shore. But as she was forced to contend with the problem of reaching the Twilight Thorn's weak spot, she finally tuned in to what her allies were saying.

"I can manage that, cover me..!" She quickly tied her whips together before throwing the whip's braid up and around the Twilight Thorn's shoulder, holding tight. "You got this..! I'll keep my whip there as long as I can, as long as you're careful, you can ride it back down..!"

Dawn
While the wielder knew they'd likely be facing something big given all the shaking, the towering Twilight Thorn was still more than what Dawn had expected to battle so soon. She'd at least heard of it; the history of the masters was something she took great interest in, and as such, she was familiar with the story of Roxas' battle with one. Still, seeing it in person was different from simply reading about it, and its towering height was more than she imagined. Of course, it also wasn't alone. She held her breath as the Nobody lowered a mysterious woman to greet the newly reunited teams. Her pin matched the description of the Luminaries... On top of that, something about her voice seemed familiar...

There wasn't time to think about that, though. The woman left them to deal with the titanic Nobody and a number of its underlings. Thorns scattered about the arena, and Dawn barely had the time she needed to dodge them. They'd need to take this thing down quickly if they wanted to have even a moment to breathe... And if they wanted to catch that Luminary.

A sudden voice in her head gave an answer. Dawn was a little startled to hear someone else's voice in her head, and she did feel a little uneasy about this Ria woman being in her thoughts, but she figured she'd need to trust this person for now. She was helping, after all, and her advice seemed sound. They just had to find a way to reach the thing's head. Dawn glanced around as a few of the others offered ideas to reach that target. Harmony's plan using Jazz's whips also sounded like a good idea... And thankfully, Dawn could help with that.

"I can give someone a boost with my wind magic to help get the whips on its head! Or I can just use it to get myself up if no one else wants to go..." As nervous as she was about getting close to it, she was determined to do what it took to get to that Luminary. She had questions that were far too important for her to not ask them as soon as possible...

With Jazz's whips in position to be lifted to the Twilight Thorn's head, Dawn glanced around to see if there were any takers for her offer. If not, she was ready to move herself...

The creepers began surrounding the wielders, though Riza and Harmony's attacks managed to dispatch a few of them. While they were weak, they made up for that in numbers, and a few lunged at the party to try to halt their plan. Two targeted Jazz to try to make her drop her whips, and Riza and Harmony were both targeted by one each in response to their attacks on other creepers. Meanwhile, the sharp thunk of Ayanami's Keyblade against its head made the Twilight Thorn turn to face her. It raised a hand and began to slam it down on Ayanami. Thorns continued to whip out from around its body towards Rew, Gaku, and Dawn, though they had been slowed down now that the Nobody was distracted. Jazz's whips latched onto its other shoulder and managed to hold in place, though it was too busy focusing on Ayanami to remove the whip.

"R-right! That sounds like a plan!" Riza agreed with Ayanami, adjusting her glasses quickly before turning sharply and smacking a Creeper over the head with her Keyblade, aiming to keep her eyes open enough to formulate a potential strategy.

Sure, physical hits wouldn't do as much damage as her magic, but Creepers were primarily a problem because of their numbers rather than individual strength, and she'd rather save her spells for the Twilight Thorn itself, especially if they only had certain opportunities to try and strike back against it. A tinge of anxiety built in her chest, knowing that her Flowmotion was effectively essential - or at least a major strength at the moment - so the pressure was on. But, she focused hard; she wasn't about to let anyone down, after all...! Especially not in a battle like this...! And losing her head now would definitely be doing that.

"Aah, thanks Jazz...!" she said, grateful as Jazz brought out her whips; something that could make a handy grind rail up and down to the head.

Seeing the whip was holding it in place by one of its shoulders, Riza bundled up her courage. "I-I'm gonna try and go for it!"

Was she internally panicking so loud she could barely hear her own thoughts? Yes. Was she going to try and ignore those thoughts so she could try and pull her weight a bit? Also yes.

The Land of Departure: Courtyard - Yen Sin
885ec664e205bf373f2fb84ae18febac.jpg

For as long as he could remember, Sin lived in the Mysterious Tower with only the 'Old Hat' (Yen Sid) and sentient furniture to keep him company. The last years specifically were spent studying tirelessly and training intensely day in, and day out under the mentorship of his now former Master Yen Sid. He owed everything to that Old Hat, and if there was one thing he was determined about: it was proving that Yen Sid did not make a mistake by taking Sin under his wing. Now that he was deemed ready to take on the Mark of Mastery, it was time for Sin to finally leave the Mysterious Tower and take his next step along his journey as a keyblade wielder.

Traversing the gummi routes in the sea between worlds from the Mysterious Tower to the Land of Departure gave him plenty of time to reflect on this, and to also look forward to the future and adventures that awaited him. He was excited - but also afraid. He wanted nothing more than to see other worlds and meet other people, but now that the moment was soon arriving he couldn't get rid of the butterflies fluttering in his stomach. Strange, I never thought I'd miss the tower so soon...What am I even nervous about? I'm sure it's going to be great, everything will be fine...But what if nobody likes me..? OH NO, even worse, what if they think I'm weird!?! he thought to himself doing what he always liked to do: needlessly overthink.

Travelling between worlds was thankfully smooth sailing, likely in no small part due to the spell Master Yen Sid had placed on him to ensure he would be able to reach the Land of Departure safely. The only problem was that the trip felt like it went on forever! Until finally he was in sight of the Land of Departure. The butterflies multiplied in his stomach, but at the same time he felt a violent surge of excitement for what was to come....That excitement did not last long.

8f2f2700980457bf6be959f612a91661.jpg
As he transported down onto the the Land of Departures gummiship landing, he could immediately notice that something was wrong. Something definitely doesn't feel right here, I expected...Wait, what was that?! he thought to himself before jerking his head up abruptly as he heard strange sounds in the vicinity, it almost sounded like.... Battle!? Springing out into action: the moment Sin leapt out of the gummiship, it would immediately begin to autopilot itself back to its original owner Master Yen Sid.
Creeper.png

Yen Sin raced out from the gummiship landing area and up to the courtyard above where he had heard all the commotion going down. His eyes turning to wide-eyed shock as he stepped out to the sight of what appeared to be an invasion of Nobodies, something that Sin had read plenty about but never encountered one up close. That was until now. At first he stood in shock and awe of the spectacle taking place, he watched as the other keyblade wielders attempted to bring down the large Twilight Thorn whilst being surrounded by Creepers. Manifesting keyblade in hand, Sin stepped out to approach the group of keyblade wielders and face the some of the creepers surrounding them, Now is my chance to show what I can do! he mused as he rose his keyblade up in a fairly awkward type of 'hero-pose' before shouting aloud "Never fear, for Yen Sin - is here!!!" he cried out in the most heroic and deep voice he could conjure, while on the inside he
9b3783ee96d38c026f4fa0b5ab558489.png
was already churning Oh man that was a stupid thing to say, this is a terrible start already... And with that he wiggled his keyblade back and forth in the air while casting "Thundaga!" shooting down purplish black bolts from the sky down onto the surrounding creepers, he didn't expect to bring them down with one spell but he figured it would at least get their attention away from the others. He then tried to make his presence known "Uhh, hi...I'm not sure what is really going on here, but what is there anything I can do to help?"

The Land of Departure: Courtyard - Gaku & Harmony

After discussing her strategy, she barely had a chance to catch her breath before another Creeper retaliated behind her. Before it landed a hit on her, Harmony sidestepped out of the Creeper's attack range before she threw her Keyblade at the Creeper pulverizing it. After calling her Keyblade back, she continued her flurry of attacks against another group of Creepers approaching the group by rapidly dashing with her Keyblade through each Creeper in a stabbing motion. On her last stab into the last Creeper in the group, she turned around only to find another group of Creepers spawned ready to attack. "You have to be kidding me! This is getting ridiculous!" Harmony said in frustration. Just as she was about to cast Thundaga, a flurry of dark violet lightning bolts struck the group of Creepers leaving them vaporized much to Harmony's surprise. She surveryed her surroundings only to find a gummi ship leaving the world with a boy in a rather oversized green coat running towards the group Keylade in hand. Harmony quickly concluded that the boy used Thundaga to vaporize the Creepers. "Thanks for the save!" She said to the newcomer. "Right now, we need to defeat this giant Nobody attacking the Land of Depature and the Keyblade Coalition!" Harmony motioned her hand towards Dawn's position. "She has wind magic and could use an assist! Get with her and utilize her magic to somehow attack the Nobody's head!"

Meanwhile, Gaku continues to perform reversal dodges as the thorns from the Twilight Thorn began to slow down. After the last set of tendrils, Gaku began darting towards the Twlight Thorn and blasted a few volleys of Dark Blizzaga at its feet in attempt to freeze it in place. As soon as Gaku backed away to attempt his next combo, he notices the Nobody's hand aiming to slam down against Ayanami. Gaku began running towards Ayanami while conjuring up his Ruinga spell. Gaku condensed the spell into a small spherical form before swinging his Keyblade to throw the spell at Twlight Thorn's hand in hopes to knock the hand away from Ayanami. Gaku then yelled out in attempt to further aggro the Nobody. "Your fight is with me you giant dipstick excuse of a Nobody!"

🌌REW🌌

Rew swatted at the Nobodies around them. The sheer number of them did mean that he had to be aware of the ones around him, however it also meant that no matter which way he swung he was likely to hit one. He didn't think there'd be any surprises left in the battle...then he heard the battle cry (?) of a wielder he hadn't seen before. "I...have no response to that" he said in a low yet surprised voice. He was thankful about the Thundaga cast though. "Wait, did he say Yen Sid?" Rew shook off the thought, he'd get a chance to ask his questions later.

Rew barely managed to dodge the thorns, even though they had slowed a bit. He was starting to realize that he didn't have the stamina for a battle of attrition. He thought about using the other form of his Keyblade when he noticed another thorn making it's way toward Dawn. He stuck out his weapon and cast Reflect in her direction. A dome appeared around her and the attacked was diverted...right into him. It had happened in an instant and he had no clue how. He screamed as he was knocked over to the ground.

There was a pain in his shoulder as he stood up from where he was hit. "That could have gone better." Even holding the Keyblade hurt, nevermind when he swung it. Rew ignored the pain, though his strikes weren't as powerful, he kept trying to fight. There was no way he'd be able to use the altered form here, he needed both arms to activate it. He blocked an attack, then another, and another. He tried to fight one handed however didn't have training or know how and instead chose to fight with the pain. He tried to use a potion he had, however when he tried to reach for it, he'd get attacked. When he managed to get himself some breathing room, he aimed for a group then cast Magnet.

Ayanami

Holding her keyblade upward to defend from the twlight thorn's barrage of attacks, she initially tries to move closer to Jazz to defend her from the incoming creepers and even with the vines. However, she is surprised by a sudden spell from an unexpected ally. She turns her eyes to see a boy dressed in black and green making his way towards them. He introduces himself boldly but follow up with a more timid response that she herself can relate to. Hearing what Harmony told Yen Sin, she knew she had to act fast.

With Gaku coming in to distract the twlight thorn, seemingly having taunted it, Ayanami gives him a brief "Thanks, you won't regret it" for helping her. She decides to capitalize on her new freedom, taking into consideration the actions of everyone near her.

Jazz is pulling it's upper body, and Riza is using those vines as a ride up. That means...

Ayanami takes a step to her side, positioning herself on the side of the twilight thorn.

"Your weakest point right now..." she says, rushing forward with her keyblade, and making an impact with the twlight thorn's legs.

"IS HERE!"

Ayanami wasn't concerned with doing damage, she was only focused on making the twlight thorn lose it's balance and fall. There, everyone can rush it's head with full confidence. She takes a step behind the twilight thorn to avoid it falling on her, turning to see if she had succeded.

🌹Jazz Bellz 🌹
The battle had erupted into chaos quickly. "We're disorganized.. We need a leader.." she mumbled to herself. Part of her thought to start calling out orders, get them organized. But they had all only just met. Trust is a resource they didn't have yet. Her arms and back strained, holding the massive form of the Twilight Thorn in place. The fibers of her muscles tensed and fought against its rouge form. Were she not the daughter of a monster, maybe this monster would have a chance. Maybe.
"Your weast point right now..." she says, rushing forward with her keyblade, and making an impact with the twlight thorn's legs.
Jazz watched as Ayanami struck into its legs. This was her chance. "Alright then, full power!" Her whips now crackled, burning thorns exploding from their form as she amplified her strength with her magic. A aching step from Jazz, pulling on the colossal Nobody's body as Ayanami struck into its legs. A creeper thought to interrupt her towing of the creature, but was crushed underfoot as Jazz pulled with everything she had. She could feel her legs screaming now. Her joints popping with strain and eyes bulging out of her head with her force. Only time would tell if it was enough.
💞Ria Arnoldo💕
Ria sat deep within the halls of the Land of Departure, managing multiple battles on every front. It was like an army had been unleashed upon their soil. One designed to destroy them. A soft smirk crossed her face and she input coordinates for magical defenses the school had in place to defend against such an attack. It wasn't much. A few batteries of Gummi Cannons had been installed, caked with dust and half not working from lack of maintenance. Most had forgotten they even existed. Not Ria. She cursed under her breath. "I bet Tony Stark wouldn't have let this school be so.. undefended." she murmured. Messaging to masters and students where to fight. Where to coordinate and take the wounded. Things were going to plan.

Then came a surprise. A Gummi Ship coming in from Gummi Space orbit. Callsign belonging to master Yen Sid. Relief washed over her as she directed the ship to land at the square with the Twilight Thorn to bring Yen Sid where he was needed most, and then someone she didn't recognize stepped out.

"Uhh, hi...I'm not sure what is really going on here, but what is there anything I can do to help?"
"Who are you?" Her mildly perturbed voice rang from his chest into his head. He may have introduced himself to the others, but she wasn't there. Her powers were limited in such ways. "Whoever you are, I already have enough people to manage. Stay with the group you're next to now, I'm bringing you onto their frequency." a sound of soft hissing and fuzz rang in Sin's ears, not loud enough to hurt or even distract, but noticeable. "Speak through your heart to communicate, the others will hear you. Stay focused on the battle and don't die." Her voice pivoted to a less annoyed tone as she addressed the wider group. "No idea who this clown is, but he's got a Keyblade and I can't navigate any reinforcements to you all. He'll be helpful... I think."

She paused, thoughts clearly racing in the silence. "Magic users, form up, that Twilight Thorn is about to fall over, at least if my scans are right. This is the first major battle you're all in so follow what I say and maybe you'll live. Casters, keep the Creepers off the melee fighters while they focus on the Nobody's head once it comes down. Those with melee specializations aren't good at fighting crowds and are better at taking on high value single targets. "
A dome appeared around her and the attacked was diverted...right into him. It had happened in an instant and he had no clue how. He screamed as he was knocked over to the ground.
"...And protect your wounded. You're a team right now, if you don't look out for each-other you're all dead." Her voice was frantic. "Keep fighting! I gotta look at another group-" her voice suddenly cut off from their hearts, as if something had attacked her.

Dawn
While the rest of the group worked on setting up an opening to attack the titanic Nobody before them, Dawn kept busy by swatting creepers out of the way. Unfortunately, it seemed like every time she took one down, two more would take its place. It didn't help that the surges of thorns ripping through the air were unpredictable and didn't give her much time to dodge. She darted around, striking and slashing at the diminutive creatures, trying to save her magic for a better opening or to help with the plan. It seemed that the others had devised a plan that wouldn't require any wind spells, but she kept ready just in case.

The number of creepers began to feel overwhelming. Dawn felt herself tiring the more she moved around to dodge the Nobodies and the thorns. It seemed like she'd never find an opening... But the arrival of a new ally forced her to split her attention and listen in while she kept her assault up. The more sheepish follow-up to the man's boisterous entrance confused Dawn a tiny but, but Yen Sin's Thundaga managed to dissipate half of the creepers, leaving nothing but an eerie gray mist in their wake. Dawn took a chance to straighten up and take a deep breath before glancing at the man. Harmony gave a quick point in her direction and suggested that the man could give her a hand with some magic. She gave a nod, staying vigilant in case any more thorns whipped her way. "The others are getting ready to give us an opening to attack, so we can both strike when they're done!"

Her brief reprieve almost proved deadly as one of the thorns hurtled towards her. She heard its sound just in time to turn around and flinch back, unable to dodge... Thankfully, a sudden reflect spell caught it and sent it careening away. It struck Rew before she even had a chance to give him an Aeroga shield, though she quickly cast the spell after. "Thanks for the save! That should help protect you if any more come your way..." He may be injured, but Dawn wanted to do her best to make it up to him by protecting him from further damage.

Gaku's Ruinga managed to deflect the Twilight Thorn's hand and knock it slightly off balance. The foe did its best to struggle against Jazz's whips once they were moved into position, but her strength and the beast's own frozen feet were too much for it to struggle against. A sudden strike to the legs by Ayanami was the final move to send it toppling down onto its knees. The ground shook and the pavement cracked as the creature's full weight slammed down below, and a few of the remaining creepers were crushed beneath their gargantuan ally. The Nobody's torso lurched forward, and it barely managed to catch itself with its hands. However, its head was left hovering just above the ground, wide open for the group to attack. The tendrils around its neck draped down onto the ground, with one in particular creating a line from Riza to the Nobody's head. The assault of thorns came to an abrupt end as the Nobody took a moment to regain its bearings. The remaining creepers stopped in their tracks and turned to face their downed ally before slinking over to it, preparing to defend it while it readied itself again.

Dawn nearly jumped out of her skin as Ria's voice crackled into her head once again. Telekinesis was something she supposed she'd need to get used to... Thankfully, things had died down now that the creepers' numbers had thinned and their main target was incapacitated. She listened carefully to the tactician's words while keeping her gaze locked on to the Nobody, giving a quick nod once the orders were done. "Right!" Dawn fished a potion out of her pouch and tossed it to Rew. "You should drink that while you have a chance!" With that sorted, it was time to devise an attack plan. Magic was definitely her forte, a fact her more labored breaths reminded her of after all that dodging. Luckily, with all the creepers converged around the Twilight Thorn, it seemed she'd have another use for her wind magic. She hurried over to Yen Sin to start working out a plan. "If you've got another spell like that in you, I can get the creepers out of the others' way so you can help me finish them off!" She then redirected her attentions to the Nobodies. She thrust her Keyblade forward in their direction as a white glow lit up the blade's tip. Dawn let out a cry as she cast Aeroga, and a sudden gust of wind sent the creepers rolling away from the Twilight Thorn and the group. "There, now it's all clear!"

The Land of Departure: Courtyard - Gaku & Harmony

Gaku began walking towards the Twilight Thorn as he watched the towering monstrosity get brought down to its knees only to fumble itself to exposing its head for the Wielders. "An opportunity presents itself. Ready for a beatdown?" Gaku said as he twirled his Keyblade itching to throw it at the Thorn's head.
Harmony grinned with pleasure as she raised her headphones from her neck to her head. "You better have a sick playlist ready Gaku!"
"Dammit Harmony, You know I always deliver." Gaku said while adjusting his headphones. "InSync. Melodic Bangers only. Passing the Puck to you now!" He raised his keyblade and performed a Strike Raid. The moment the keyblade hit the Thorn's head, the world went silent through Gaku and Harmony's minds as the bass dropped through their own environment.

A shimmering green light came out of Gaku as the "puck" itself went into Harmony. As she felt its power, Harmony raised her keyblade and shot a volley of lightning bolts out of her keyblade into the Thorn's head. As she sustained the lightning, the lightning seemingly danced irratically in the form of soundwaves seemingly mimicing the music playing in their headphones. Right on the appropriate beat, the puck leaves Harmony back to Gaku as he moved in closer to the head. Performing an Upward Spiral attack, Gaku slashed down at the head with heft. He struck the head a few more times before laying down another accentuated slash that would trigger the puck to leave Gaku back to Harmony. Without skipping a beat, she engulfed her keyblade in lightning and began to throw it in repeated succession. After her fourth throw, the puck returns to Gaku albeit larger in power. Feeling more powerful, Gaku began performing multiple dash attacks before ending his combo with a blast of Ruinga.

Seeking to disrupt the Syncronization, the creepers began circling around Harmony. She has to wait patiently for the puck to return to her. Disrupting the Syncronization would equal a loss of power buildup between the duo. After the Ruinga blast, Harmony received the puck and immediately slashed away the surrounding Creepers before spinning around to casting Thundaga at the Creepers blown away by Dawn's Aeroga, so they don't think about ever coming back to guard the Twilight Thorn. "Strike it down!" Harmony cried out.

Ayanami

Turning to see the Twilight Thorn crash down to the ground, Ayanami immediately capitalizes by jumping over, landing near its head.

"BEGONE!" She yells, thrashing the Twilight Thorn's head with her hefty keyblade.

She relentlessly swings her keyblade at the head, not even pausing to check for incoming enemies. Of course more nobodies would swarm them once the twilight thorn was exposed, but it seemed that Gaku and Harmony were taking care of that. Hearing the Ruinga and Thundaga melt creepers, she hacks and slashes away confidently.

I must keep going before it gets the chance to get up. No nobodies can be left to harm the newer weilders...

Beginning to worry they might not defeat the Twilight Thorn on time, she turns to a nearby Jazz, getting a quick flash of an idea. If we really wanted to hurt this thing, we would need something with a bit more impact.

"Hand me a vine, I'll slam you into it with all my force!" She says, tossing Jazz her keyblade and keeping it stretched out for a vine.

You can even use my keyblade too, but please, trust me. I know I may not be a human like the rest of you, but I will do all I can. She thinks, hoping that she didn't seem out of hand in her idea. Should she have told Jazz to slam her? Still, she said what she said. She can only hope now.

Jazz Bellz
Jazz felt the Nobody finally topple over. Any more effort and she might burst a blood vessel, so with it finally falling relief washed over both her muscles and her mind. But it was no time for a break. As soon as it fell, her whips melted into firey petals and reformed her Keyblade. What followed was a unique variation on the traditional strike raid form a spinning swing to develop the most energy possible before chucking it into the smooth dome of the Twilight Thorn's head. On impact it would seem her Keyblade would shatter into an explosion of burning thorns before materializing back in her hand. While she might not be the most magic adept, being able to weave magic into her strikes always yielded interesting effects. She continued the salvo until Ayanami made a suggestion.

Without even having to think about it, she agreed with Ayanami's idea. She quickly resummoned the whips and interlocked them for length before catching the Keyblade tossed to her. A swing of her whip and the handle was just over Ayanami's hand while the whip end was tied into her arm, thorns digging into her skin. It was painful, but this made sure she wouldn't come loose in the attack to follow. Her legs compressed, hips and knees bending as ankles were pivoting, before a jump straight up into the air to give their next move some additional help via gravity.

"Like a hammer driving a nail!" She yelled. She trusted Ayanami at least a little bit. But if she was honest with herself, she just thought the idea sounded fun.

📙- riza - 📙
'Don't mess it up, don't mess it up!-'

Riza focused everything on trying to control her Flowmotion, into keeping her feet grounded to the whip's surface, to ready an attack to the head. And she really did manage it...! Up until that final bump, near the Twilight Thorn's head, and it was like she had been fast asleep and suddenly shaken into a world she didn't know. Inwardly, she knew the moment was coming, but it still sent her stomach turning. Her glasses dislodged from the bridge of her nose and one hand hastily tried to keep them on - being blind in the middle of the fight was the second worst thing after falling off, only topped by literally dying in this moment - and sure enough, the moment she knew was coming came. She went flying up, too fast and too panicked to coordinate a hard hit.

Wanting to salvage it, as that last glow of magenta persisted, Riza turned her freefall into a downward dive, smacking her Keyblade into the massive Nobody's head. "Take this!"

It might not have been enough to knock it down, but at least it widened the opening. She glanced aside, having realised several seconds later that there was a newcomer in their ranks, a newfound ally. "H-hey! W-welcome to the club- uh- sorry, we're a bit tangled up!"

Now that she was on the ground, Riza surveyed the situation; okay, Rew was clearly wounded during the encounter, Ayanami and Jazz were handling the downed Twilight Thorn, Gaku and Harmony were trying to fight off the seemingly endless numbers of Creepers...right, the Creepers, her magic could handle them! If they took them out, it'd open up more time for everyone to take on the head at once...!

"Blizzaga!" she aimed Admirer's Oasis into the centre of the enemy line that Dawn had sent backwards, hoping that the blast of rime and ice could take out multiple at once as they were stunned, and get at least lighten some of the pressure on her teammates.

The Land of Departure: Courtyard - Yen Sin

"Thanks for the save!" She said to the newcomer. "Right now, we need to defeat this giant Nobody attacking the Land of Depature and the Keyblade Coalition!" Harmony motioned her hand towards Dawn's position.
He'd only just arrived, and already he was getting put to the test. It was now that Yen Sin was going to discover whether or not all those years training under Master Yen Sid paid off, but it was strange. As far as he could remember, he had never been in a real fight before, but now as he observed the Creepers getting vaporized by his dark thundaga a feeling of familiarity swept over him. A feeling like he'd somehow been in a situation like this before, but surely not? The thought was quickly thrown into the back of his mind as one of the keyblade wielders turned and thanked him: causing Yen Sin's cheeks to blushed a bright red creating a stark contrast with his otherwise unusually pale skin. Unfortunately there was no way for Yen Sin to hide whenever he was embarrassed, flustered and blushing.

"Oh, uh, yeah - don't mention it!" he said dismissively, his attention following Harmony's hand directing him over toward another keyblade wielder in the near distance.
"She has wind magic and could use an assist! Get with her and utilize her magic to somehow attack the Nobody's head!"
Sin nodded in confirmation as he started dashing his way over to Dawn's side, only stopping halfway when he suddenly felt and heard a voice ringing out from his chest into his skull. For a moment he could feel his heart sink to the bottom of his chest. AHH, what the!?! the thought rang through his mind alongside the new, unfamiliar voice he had never heard before.
Yen Sin did his best to adjust to this very new experience, he had so many questions about what was going on, how did this voice work? Was this voice a person who wasn't present, or something else entirely? For a moment he even considered maybe this was just a power he didn't know he possessed until now - that was certainly a possibility! He decided it was best not to question it too much right now, knowing that there were bigger issues at hand. So he just rolled with the punches, putting whatever questions he had aside and paid close attention to this new 'inner voice'.

Through my heart? Okay...Focu- Wait did she just call me a clown!? The rudeness of the inner voice aside, he paid close attention to the orders given and followed through to the best of his abilities. He wasn't quite certain what role he fell in, but considering that he studied under he great Master Yen Sid he felt a bit more confident in his abilities as a caster for the time being. Acting accordingly, he focused his attention on the surrounding Creepers.

Thanks to the wind magic of Dawn the crowd of creepers were swept away from the group, giving the casters an opportunity to remove them from the equation so that all of their focus could be put onto the Twilight Thorn. Noticing that his dark thundaga was proving to be quite effective against the Creepers, and another one of his allies jumping in to cast a spell of her own, Sin felt it was best to not fix what wasn't broke, mustering up his magic into his keyblade he rose it up to the skies once again and cried out "Thundaga!" as he swung the keyblade down, casting a downpour of black lightning bolts onto the creepers. Hoping that it would be enough to finish off whatever was left behind from the blizzaga spell that was already cast by Riza.

Perched by the door to the castle proper, Alye watched her new teammates fight the Nobodies. She had always found the empty white being disturbing, more so than even other Keyblade Wielders. Still, she was posed to swoop in at the sign of a turning of the tide against the wielders. But these new friends were proving very capable. Though Alye was still worried about the hidden depth of this mission, it was reassuring that those selected were proving up to the challenge.
Alye was adjusting herself to launch herself into the fight when someone new joined the fray. Her glowing red eyes narrowed on this new arrival, prepared to pounce on him if he proved Luminary. But instead, he helped the others, introducing himself with a name with a familiar ring. Those who did not believe in fate simply didn't have proper pattern recognition, to Alye's mind. Yin Sin arrival was a good omen. His arrival and aid reinforced the team where Alye figured she'd be needed. Still, it would be rude to sit the entire fight out, now wouldn't it?
Magical sparks leapt from Alye's feet as she slid down the hand rails leading to the castle door. At the bottom, she launched herself forward towards the rest of the team. As the momentum from the Flowmotion began to wane, she tucked into a roll, hitting the ground with her shoulder. Pitching forward, she ended up in a crouch next to Rew. In a swirl of darkness, her Keyblade Acerbus Adagium appeared in her hand, it's large blade resting cross her shoulders. The unblinking eye in Acerbus Adegium flashed briefly as the Heartless girl drew up on the blade to prepare a spell.
"Save the potion for later." She said to Rew in a calm voice that didn't match the energy of the situation. "We may need it."
She gave Rew a bright smile, her white teeth contrasting with her dark skin. With her free hand, she raised it up to channel the healing magic she was pouring in mana into.
"Curaga!" Alye called out, releasing the spell's rejuvenating energy upon Rew's injuries.

Ayanami

Ayanami grabs ahold of the keyblade and with all her might, spins in a 360 degree motion to create momentum, jumping before swinging it over her head and down on the twilight thorn's head. As she lands, she remembers that the keyblade in her hand was not her own. Unsure what to do with it, she throws it with her full force at the twilight's head as well, being careful to throw it at an area not near where Jazz landed to avoid hitting her with her own keyblade.

What a firm and sturdy keyblade, nice to see I'm not the only one with a bias for close combat.

"Thanks!" she says to Jazz, waiting for her to finish before recalling her keyblade.

🌌 REW🌌
Rew managed to catch the potion, though before he got the chance another wielder appeared next to him. He nodded then felt the magic flow over him, healing the wound. "Appreciate it" he yelled before jumping back into the battle. He pocketed the potion then ran toward the Nobodies that were gathered in the magnet. Leaping in the air he struck them down, the ones remaining flying in different directions or dissipating from the damage. When he looked at how the Keyblades stuck he got an idea. "I need to get up high, who can do that?" He probably could thrown his Keyblade and warped to it like before however the Luminary was getting away and they needed to catch her. "Look this'll work...I think." He blocked an attack then prepared for what was next.

With an ally made well, Alye turned her attention to the rest of the battle. A creeper broke from the group and headed for the Heartless girl. Her smiling demeanor shifted to a look of disgust at the empty husk charging her. To her, it was a gross thing, a body flapping around limply and unnaturally. Such a thing should not be, nor should the feelings of loss that echoed in her heart every time she saw one. Taking her Keyblade Acerbus Adegium in both hands, Alye dropped the blade off her shoulder. Using the momentum of the drop, she heft the blade in an upward slash, it's blade scrapping along the ground, kicking up sparks. With speed surprising for such a large blade, it met the Creeper mid leap, sending the lessor Nobody flying.
Alye was search for her next target when she heard Rew ask a question. She eyed first him, then turned her gaze upward. A smile returned to her lips, this one edged with a reckless glint. Oh, this was going to be fun.
"Got you covered, rocket lad!" She called out.
Dashing forward, Alye bobbed and weaved to Rew's side once again. Once she was close, she drew up her keyblade and stabbed it into the ground. She offered her hand out to Rew with a wink.
"Let's see you fly!"

Once Alye's hand is grasped, she would let out a "WHOOP" as she dragged her passenger behind her as the magic of Flowmotion sent the pair spinning around Acerbus Adegium at high speed. After several turns, she called out,
"Stay lose!"
Heaving with all her might, Alye flung Rew skyward, passing to him all the momentum they had been building up in the spiral. While Rew rose, Alye was sent sprawling across the ground. As she rolled to a rest, she let out a low chuckle as the world continued to spin around her.

🌌REW🌌
Rew held out his hand and found himself off the ground. He couldn't help smiling over it, the speed of the wind flying by him, the feeling and sound that rushed by him, even as he flew into the air he smiled and laughed if only a bit. When he felt himself start to fall, looked around, realizing he needed to correct the trajectory in order to get over the target. He threw and warped to his Keyblade repeating the process again and again. He managed to get to the top of the thorns surrounding them. Taking a deep breathe, Rew placed both hands on his Keyblade as it broke apart. The pieces formed around his arms and legs and a light washed over them. Armored gauntlets and boots the color of his Keyblade appeared. The armor reached just above the joints and had extended metal that pointed out over them. While his hands were somewhat clawed, the boots had small wing designs on the heel. He fell back, aiming for the head. Rew had never tried to do something like this before and it scared as much as thrilled him. Holding his arms out he closed them together into a hammer fist slamming that into the head as he landed the vibration from the impact shaking him. He jumped and stumbled as he landed on the ground, though recovered. He could feel his heart beating faster from the adrenaline though his panting made it clear he was running low.

Dawn

The barrage of spells from the team's spellcasters whittled down the creepers' numbers until all that remained of the smaller nobodies was a gray vapor that only lingered for a few seconds longer than the creatures themselves. With the minions gone, all that remained was the Twilight Thorn. The rest of the party's continuous volley of attacks at its head dealt heavy damage, but they also made the foe more frenzied as it struggled to escape. As hard as it tried to steady itself with its limbs, each attack slowly pushed it back towards the cliff at the edge of the courtyard. Rew's final blow nearly sent it toppling over the edge, but the Twilight Thorn managed to shore up the last bit of its strength in that moment.

The Nobody lurched upwards, using its arms to pry the whips off of its body. It shakily got back up on its feet and towered over the party, staring down at them. It only had the energy left for one last move, and the emotionless being had no reservations keeping it from unleashing its full power.

The Twilight Thorn hovered just over the party and extended its limbs out over the battlefield. Its head, hands, and feet all stuck into the ground as dark vapor pooled around each point. Thorns erupted from the pools, lurching out in all directions. A bright light formed at the center of the points and began to grow larger and brighter. Heat emanated from the light, growing more intense in turn with the light. The Twilight Thorn was preparing to pour all of its energy into an explosive finale, though its head was still wide open for more attacks...

Much like their enigmatic foe, Dawn was feeling drained at this point. Between all of her spells and all of the fighting to this point, she wasn't sure how much energy she had left... But she couldn't let that stop her. She had to save the Coalition headquarters, and she needed to find that Luminary before she got away. There was too much at stake to let her leave... Both for the worlds and for herself. She focused on steadying her breath as she held her Keyblade up, activating the Cyclone command style. Magic might have been more her element, but she wasn't sure if she had any more big spells in her at the moment, and there wasn't time to prepare for those, anyway. "One last push, everyone! We can do this!"

With that said, Dawn hurled her Keyblade at the Twilight Thorn's head, using the wind to boost its speed. She charged ahead and called her Keyblade back into her hand before unleashing a flurry of spinning attacks on her foe. She practically hovered as she spun and swiped, not daring to let her feet touch back on the ground. She had to keep her momentum up for this to pay off.
