Kingdom Hearts+Exalted=Bad idea???

Thorn Darkblade

I know lots of things. Lots of things...
Okay, so, I've decided on my new game...Exalted, 2nd Ed, canon plotline, until something happens and one of the characters becomes the new chosen of the Keyblade, and opens Creation to the Kingdom Hearts universe. While I do realize I may be tying my own noose should I ever have Mickey show up, I think this has a potential to be a good game. However, I need help putting this together

Having never played Kingdom Hearts, I can't really help in understanding the plotline or anything.  However, will your player's be happy with Disney characters turning up in their story?

From what I hear, it doesn't sound horrible. But If a 6 foot tall mouse wearing little pants and gloves appraches me wanting to be friends I'll collect it's head... same goes with it's 6 foot tall duck and dog pals too.

They're not 6 foot tall.

They're clearly about 3 feet tall.

'Cept goofy, of course. I think he's, like 7 feet tall. But he's not a threat.

Well, I'd kick-ass-ify it somewhat...

Anywhoo, the idea I had is a member of the circle gets the Keyblade, and Creation is opened up to the other worlds (in other words, the Final Fantasy and Disney realms, perhaps others as well...).

Just read your new sig.

Killzone is the shizzle.  I've played the thing through now probably a hundred times, and I keep hearing new quips and comments from the characters.  That kind of detail is what keeps me playing through the thing. That, and the satisfaction that Hakka brings with playing the thing through with just his pistol and his underslung shotgun.

*end threadjack*

I stand corrected.

For me, the biggest appeal of such a game is the opportunity to play as Final Fantasy races.

Burmecians FTW!!!

Yeah, I'm tossing in FF7-X, the Disney worlds, the Kingdom Hearts unique worlds, and possibly some other stuff....(Hyrule, anyone?)

I love Killzone, more so than Black, anyday.  The story, characters, quotes, detail, sound, everything far outweighs anything that Black had to offer.  Oh, I loved Black, its just that I found the levels far too long with the number of levels far too few.  And the multiplayer game of Killzone is just superb.

I agree, although a game cross ova of kingdom hearts sounds cool the moment i hear an "O boy pluto" im going to pull out my over powered essense cannon and blast mickys ass back to tuesday... maybe if you were to replace micky... and the rest with different characters.

Other than my insane erge to kill micky mouse, go for it....

be sure to include jack skelington though... he's cool as

"this is halloween" do du do

I think I had a discussion once before about Jack Skellington in Exalted. We decided he'd be better as a Ghost than as an Abyssal.

Though maybe he could be a Deathlord...

I'm going to threadjack this, because I find any efforts to mix Disney and Exalted automatically stupid.

In keeping with the theme of stupidity:

Gandalf is obviously a Sidereal. The question is, which Auspice?

Ah, but you see, with a Kingdom Hearts Exalted game, you have the excuse to bring ANY world you like in Exalted. Even LotR. As for Gandalf- are we talking about Grey, or White? We'll need to figure this out if we're going to include a Middle-earth KH world. Glee.

P.S. You don't HAVE to put any Disney in. The same event which kills Sora could easily kill a bunch of other inconvenient people...

*placing in his monocle and nabbing a corncob pipe, bubbles floating out if it...* Dear boy, he is clearly of the Caste of Journeys or, I dare say, the Caste of Secrets for he knows much from the Mayar.

You see, I think he's a Chosen of Battles, what with him always getting people involved in wars.

I would say, since he's always running around telling people what to do and delivering exposition, he would be Journeys.

That would be good if you were using him in Exalted, too. The point would be to get the PCs up and doing, noot letting Gandalf do all the work.

I whole heartedly agree...

Final Fantasy = Good!

Disney = BAD!

Gandalf = Chosen of Journeys

Disney's not ALL bad. I refer, of course, to Halloween Town.

The Lion King could also tie into Exalted. Just add Lunars! Plus, Scar is the only villain I know who could sing a musical number and still remain believably evil with some sort of twisted-alien-disturbing-music thing going. I gotta respect that.

If Mickey does make an appearance, it means you have all pissed me off to the end of my ropes, :P

This isnt meant to be an uber-serious game, mind you. I just wanted some cheesy fun for a change. And, as far as giving FF characters castes and such...why? I'm gonna customize then...after all, it's not until Creation opens up to the other worlds that the shards have a chance of Exalting them. Although, the shit that'll happen in Yu Shan when other gods from other worlds start popping in, :D

But, don't you remember, Scar is dead.

Hercules wears him as a pelt.
