You could just bite the bullet and say, "Hey, Regular Sorcery is White, and Necromancy is Black and you could have access to both."
or
just make up spells on your own. Â Things like Holy and Meteor would certainly still be Solar(and its Necro equivalant) Â level spells.
Blue...well you could do a water down version of Eclipse/Moonshadow caste ability. Â They sortof already have a blue magic deal. Â They just dont have to get hit with the attack/specialability/spell/charm. Â Or it could just work only against spirits/elemental/ghost/littleGod/demon charms/arcanoi. Â When they get hurt or attacked by these powers, player can learn them at a reduced cost or something or other, but it has to be bought right then and there? Â maybe? Â I dunno.
Then yeah, gonna have to make up your own spells. Â I think Mechanincally it should still work like how spells are cast in Exalted, but only because the more deisel spells should be harder to caste and thats it. Â If you are a white mage then you can only caste white magic and you'll have to make up spells that are white magic only. Â Which spells the chars get will basically be a thing determined by you.
The spells in Final Fantasy seem more like Charms, to me, particularly elemental Dragon-Blooded Charms. The Elemental Bolt Charms and their kin, for example, would directly correspond to the fire, blizzard and thunder spells. It's only more complicated thins like Gravity that are tough.
Spend essence, magic appears. The FF spells aren't nearly as powerful as Exalted spells; even Terrestrial Circle Sorcery is more powerful.
You'd have to be careful of healing spells, though. They could seriously mess up the game balance.
Yes, Final Fantasy and Disney races and origins will be allowed, as will other settings if you can convince me why they should be. However, it will be a Solar game, so, the reason they have a shard must make sense.
Well, I'm hoping to get at least a full circle involved. I dunno if I want more than that, but the possibility's open. Other Exalt types are currently out, as I'm not familiar enough with them as players, but only as NPC's.
Oh, and, face the facts. King Mickey can whoop you all.
Hardsuits are from Bubblegum Crisis (the original OAV series) and from Bubblegum Crisis 2040 (remade TV series).
They're basically power armour, depending on which series and when in the series, they can range from power armour in the range of Dragon Armour to Crimson Assassin Suit to Celestial Battle Power Armour. Â
But then... the same thing could be said of Samus Aran's Varia suit. Â 8)
Personally, I prefer the look and feel of the BGC 2040's upgraded power armour that Sylia uses
The one on the left is the upgraded version of 2040 Sylia's hardsuit
The main thing is I'm not sure how high of a tech level I wanna introduce though. Although, I could always say your world's been eaten by the Heartless and your tech is the last of it's kind.
