Max gave a nod finishing up the food "I will." She said quietly frowning as she heard the door slam and cars rushing off. She looked at Kevin as he came back in and frowned more "Whats happening?"

Tommy doubled over in pain as he felt hers go up and quickly dialed Danny knowing he needed him there "Help...please.." he muttered starting to fade in and out as she did. He had been connected to her too strongly and he was having just about the same reaction as she was except his wasn't deadly

Kevin shook his head. “Lily go with them.” He told her quick. “She’d want you there.” He pointed out to her until she left and he turned to max. “She’s getting worse. There’s not much the humans can do for her.” He muttered. “But they’ve taken things further. It’s a very slow painful death this substance.” He muttered.

Carmen frowned laying back and blacking our, going into a seizure as it all got too much for her body to handle at once, no longer able to explain to tommy the words she’d been trying to get out o him

Max frowned shaking her head some giving a heavy sigh "Why would they want this? All this loss and pain?" She asked watching him some "You wanna get the youngsters? They need to eat."

Tommy frowned looking at Danny as he came into the room "Help her.....please..." he whispered out clutching her hand in his as he kneeled next to her

Danny just nodded and guided the nurses through what was going to help the most then helped tommy get situated laying next to her. “If she can make it through the night she has a fighting chance but it’s gonna be very touch and go.” He muttered. “How are you doing? Physically that is.” He muttered.

He nodded and kissed her head going to collect everyone, heading back to sit with her quietly, his hands shaking some with exhaustion.

Max frowned some and took his hand in hers when she saw him shaking "Eat then go lay down okay? You need to rest." She murmured

Tommy frowned holding her as much as he could "I can feek her slipping...its the worst pain I've ever been in." He muttered

Danny nodded some, getting him some painkillers as well. “They might help a little.” He told him. “Tommy... be prepared for the worst but hope she makes it alright?” He told him gently going to wait around out by the nurses station promising to stay out the way but he had started chatting to one he thought was pretty cute.

Kevin nodded and mumbled a thank you, eating slowly and eventually left about a third of his plate then headed up to bed, collapsing into it fully dressed still and fell asleep quickly.

Tommy frowned some and took the painkillers before he shifted and layed with her trying to give her some help to get through it

Max came into his room and gave a small smile getting his shoes off him and pants as well before she tucked him in and made her way to her room

He mumbled in his sleep about footwork and form then went quiet, waking up in an empty bed and frowning some, getting up and quietly making his way to Max's room, shifting into a golden retriever then headed inside, sneakily making his way onto the bed with her, hoping if he looked like a cute dog she wouldn't be mad at him, trying to get close to her.

Carmen woke up in the morning shivering like crazy with a fever of 108 just feeling fur under her hands and gripping at it as much as she could, shaking some and barely able to move or breathe but she was still alive for now and she wasn't sure how but she glanced down seeing Tommy laying there with her and groaned quietly

Max woke up in the morning and raised an eyebrow seeing the dog in her bed. She sniffed the air and relaxed knowing it was Kevin. She sighed and shook her head some going to the restroom to get a quick shower

Tommy groaned as she tugged at his fur. He hadn't slept at all last night too worried about everything that was happening. He licked her cheek gently and nuzzled into her some.

She managed a little smile just glancing over at him, running her fingers through his shoulder shaking but trying to move a bit more. “Tommy... I should... I should have said... I saw it.” She whimpered.

He waited patiently until she came back out and turned away while she got dressed to give her space before shifting back. “Morning.” He mumbled, reaching for her.

Max glanced at him as she sat on the bed "Morning sneaky....so were you ever going to tell me you were a shapeshifter?" She asked raising an eyebrow not as mad about it now as she was before.

Tommy whined some in response holding her close close nuzzling her more to him kissing her again

She frowned shaking her head. “I thought... I thought I was... being paranoid.” She whimpered a little as pain shot through her momentarily but relaxed more as he shifted and she managed to move to be laying back against him, holding his hands tightly.

He smiled at her sheepishly but nodded. “I think... really it just never came up.” He mumbled. “I don’t ever think about it in that way anymore. I belong to a pack of wolves. A wolf is my main shift... I didn’t think it was that important... granted the fact that my lineage is rather important, I should have told you that but again, I’m not part of that family anymore.” He mumbled, reaching up and tracing patterns on her back.

Max frowned some giving a small sigh "Right...." she murmured stroking his cheek gently "I need to start breakfast and training." She mumbled before getting up to go downstairs

Tommy shifted back and held her close to him taking a deep breath as lay there with her "Stop it, its okay I promise." He murmured softly

He frowned and got up pulling her in close to him for a moment. “I have to go in alright? I would like to not be late but I don’t know.” He murmured kissing the top of her head before going to get dressed and leaving.

She just nodded and rest her head back against his shoulder relaxing into his touch. “Do you think... do you think she’s okay?” She whimpered quietly “When can we go home?”

Max gave a small nod kissing his cheek gently "Be careful alright? If you can find anything out about Darcie." She murmured quietly

Tommy frowned softly kissing the top of her head "I think she is okay, I don't think they'll hurt her. We can go when you're one hundred percent." He murmured quietly to her

She just groaned a little and held onto him still, sweating like mad through this fever having to burn off the silver in her system. “I wanna go now.” She whined a little and held onto him still.

Kevin nodded and smiled squeezing her hands before heading to his bike and heading out of there to the council to get the job done today

Tommy ran around to the passenger side of the car when they arrived home opening up the door and helping Carmen smiling softly "Welcome home babe." He murmured kissinf her temple gently. The silver had done a number on her body and she needed a lot of help repairing it before she could have made it home.

Max sat at home frowning as she tried her best to stay away from Kevin. She had gone into heat around a week ago and it had become very difficult for her to keep her stance on taking things slow with him.

Carmen smiled tiredly at him and walked inside with him, setting her bag down in the hallway and kissing his cheek “Ugh. It smells like wet dog in here.... who’s meant to have cleaned today?” She asked slipping right back into mothering mode while she spoke to lily and some of the others in the lounge.

Kevin groaned walking through the youngster house smelling max from a mile away just walking past her and kissed her head. “Hey, I’m gonna go talk to tommy but then if you need me I’ll be in the garage.” He murmured. He was still just as worn out but he at least had managed to get max to agree to sleeping in the same bed as him. But she had pushed him away soon as she came on heat and he was waiting patiently for her to be ready. He headed over to the main house and walked in, going to see tommy. “Hey, glad to have her home? I need to talk to you.”

Max took a deep breath and nodded softly kissing his cheek as well "Okay babe." She said sweetly to him. She was happy with him at the moment, she could tell this time was much different than when they had first mated.

Tommy frowned as Kevin came up to him giving a small nod looking at Carmen as she spoke with Lily "I'll be in the study babe, call if you need me." He said before motioning Kevin to follow him "Whats up?" he asked once they got in and the door was shut

Kevin sighed heavily sitting down. “I don’t know where she is.... I have had nothing to do with the little kids. Youngest I’ve seen is 10.” He told him still unable to tell him what he was doing with the kids. “I keep hearing though they’re trying to create a bunch of soldiers. A generation of them. They want them to grow up without emotion so they just follow orders... Ricky orchestrated the shooting on carmen.” He told him slowly. “They planned it all along. I don’t know if it had to be carmen or if it was just any alpha female but... it wasn’t an accident or coincidence.” He explained, charring for a bit before heading to the garage.

Carmen made her way up to his study when she got tired and went to sit on the other side of the desk. “Hey handsome.” She murmured smiling a little. “It’s nice to be home huh? Tommy... what’s wrong?”

Max stood making breakfast for everyone waving at Kevin as he came in and made his way to the garage to work on his bike. As she finished up a bit later and went out to the garage to fetch him but stopped dead in her tracks when she saw him. Due to her over hightened emotions she was nearly drooling at the sight of him working on his bike. She gulped as he looked at her and took a shaky breath "Breakfast....is...is ready." She stuttered out.

Tommy looked at Carmen as she came in and frowned some as he thought over what Kevin had told him. He shook his head some and started explaining to her what had happened barely able to contain his anger but he was doing his best

Carmen frowned watching him and just shook her head. “What if they’ve sent her away somewhere?” She asked shaking a little getting upset. “I know she’s alive. I would know if....” she couldn’t even bring herself to say it. “Tommy I just want our little girl back.” She whimpered.

He turned to face her having taken his shirt off and was getting a little sweaty, glancing over and feeling his primal instincts kick in, growling a little and stepped towards her, bringing her body in close to his.

Tommy held her close to him and shook his head some "We're going to get her back. I'm not going to let this shit happen. Someone has to stop them." He muttered kissing her temple gently

Max gasped softly and soon let her instincts take over kissing him roughly and letting him take her right there not caring about it right now at all

Carmen frowned some but nodded and leaned into him some, "You smell nice right now." She mumbled tiredly, holding onto him until she heard someone knocking on the door and got up to go lay down in bed and leave him to it.

He groaned shoving her up against the wall as he lifted her up with ease, gripping her thighs tightly and kissing her roughly, "Mmm, you sure about this? Not gonna slap me when we're done are you?" He chuckled as he placed kisses all down her neck and over her collarbone.
