Well, that's because most Exalts are near immortal. If you were going to be virile for the next few centuries, I'm sure you'd get curious, and if you were going to be so for the next few millennia, I'm sure your curiosity would get the better of you eventually.

Only and this is crucical if the Perfect Defense is a defense against the class of attacks. Even defenses that ignore applicability only ignore effects that say attack type x is inapplicable [when it normally would be and this only happens with normal combat dodges and block].


Elusive Dreams Defense doesn't stop sword blows and Seven Shadow Evasion doesn't stop a fair folk noble ravishing your soul.
