Himeko waved but stopped when she say the tiny girl. Her eyes went wide as she dropped her bag and knelt down to her height. "Ran-Chan eh?" she said while patting her head. "Nice to meet you."


She scanned the girl behind Ran-chan. "Woah a Kemonomimi, never seen one before."

"Sure!" Kiko said happily as she followed. Sayuri down the hallway to find Megumi and other girl with her. "Nice to see you again Megumi." She said. Then looked at the girl who was introduced as Himeko and chuckled at what she had said. "Well. hello to you to I guess."

Megumi smiled at Kiko and waved. "Hello again." She said, opening the door for Himeko. She wondered where the caretaker was, or when they would show up. Or were they going to be alone for the three months, which seemed unlikely. She shrugged the thought off and turned her attention back to the three girls in front of her.

Sae ignored the interaction around her. She's too tired from her bus trip, so she sat down in the dining table. She watched the girls talking to each other, and noticed a teapot in the stove. So she heat that up and prepared several cup and placed it in the table, when the tea is heated she poured it into one of the cupband drinks it.


"Whoa this is nice!"

 

[Cross]

Hokuto pressed the door closed behind her. She'd been too overwhelmed by unfamiliar faces and introductions, she'd missed reciprocating them. Hokuto roamed into the kitchen. She glanced over the post-it note for a moment. The bit about staying away from the Scarlet Garden unsupervised seemed odd. Didn't the shrine maiden trust them? Hokuto smiled at the other girl in the kitchen. Her slim fingers gripped the kettle. Hokuto discovered a fine china tea cup in the cupboard, with painted flowers curling on the sides, and poured her drink into it.


"Sorry, I didn't get to introduce myself earlier. I'm Hokuto." She said. Her gaze traveled from the kettle's spout to Sae. "Coffee in the morning, and tea in the afternoon, makes for a happy life." She said.


Hokuto set the kettle on the stove top. She pressed her palms together as if in prayer. "Thank you for the tea Kitsune spirit." She said, tone stoic for a moment. Hokuto lifted the fancy china to her mouth and sipped. "I hope all the good room's aren't taken yet." Hokuto said.

-Do you want help with unpacking, or a you finished aka putting it up for later? Sayuri wondered. If the latter, we could do something else. Have you tasted the tea the shrine maiden made? It's delicious!


Sayuri jumped up and down as she talked. She was so excited for the upcoming months.

"Nice to meet you, Hokuto. And yes, this tea is wonderful." Sae took another sip. When Hokuto mentioned the rooms, Sae quickly emptied her cup and stand up. "Aaawww dammit I forget about the rooms! Do you want to look for it together?"

Megumi giggled and watched in amusement as Ran-Chan was jumping around. She was so small and cute, in her own little way. But could she blame her? The next three months would be such a blast!. "Ran-Chan, you're so fun." She said with a smile, and waited for her new roommate to go inside their room.

[Cross]

"Sure," Hokuto said. It seemed like they were helping each other out already. "We just discovered we have something in common. Maybe we'll end up roommates or neighbors." She spun around a little to display her backpack. It had bright colors and lava lamp shaped waves. "This is all I brought. Marauders stole one bag and the bus drove off with the other." Hokuto said with a sigh. She gathered her fancy, like someone's great grandmother's, teacup and disposed of it into the sink. Hokuto would have washed the dishes already gathered, but the room situation seemed more important at the moment.


Hokuto glanced at Sae. "Have you tried the bath house yet?" Sharing a house with so many girls, she hoped it was as ginormous as the manor. "And I really want to see the shrine." She added.

"It'd be nice if we can be roommates." Sae smirked. She looked surprised, listening to Hokuto's story. She could only answer with a nod, and followed Hokuto putting her dirty cup in the sink. "I'm sorry about what happen. Dang, where are you from? I mean, with marauders stealing your bag..."


Sae shook her head at the question. "No, but let's try it after placing our bags! We can visit the shrine after taking bath."

Skyler stared at the other girl in the water with her with curiosity and confusion.


"Umm....You do know I can see you right?" She said tilting her head slightly.


The girl seemed short, but was the most adorable sight Skyler had ever seen.


Moving over to her, Skyler effortlessly picked up the small orange hair'd female


and set her on the edge of the pool.

Kiko giggle at how adorable Ran-chan was as she watched her jump. "Maybe we could finish unpacking later. I haven't really seen this place. We could explore alittle if you'd like." She suggested.

Sae went ahead of Hokuto, carrying her luggage and backpack with her. She walked down the hallway, checking the small plate hung in the room's door to check which one had her name on it. She kept looking, until she found one with hers and...


"Aatu Kito." Sae read the name of her roommate, and smile widely. "Great! I doesn't need to introduce my self whatsoever again."


She knocked on the door, waiting for a response. Since Sae saw Aatu leaving to check the rooms, she should've already inside. Sae knocked again, and again, before finally giving up.


"I'm opening the door!" Sae announced, and opened the door. There are Aaru belongings in one side of the room, but she's not there. Just then Sae heard her voice coming from the hallway. Sae peeked out and see her talking with the girl who just arrived. Sae figured that she can talk to her later anyway, and decided to went to the bath house. She quickly placed her belongings to the empty side of the room, and take her undergarment and towel, before leaving the room.


"I'm leaving first, Hokuto." Sae said, as she passed her on her way to the bath thouse. She noticed that two of the lockers have been taken, and that there are two shoe outside. That's good, Sae could befriend this two inside. She quickly placed her belongings in her locker, taking the bath house towel and wrap her body with it. She opened the door and stepped inside what may be the most beautiful bath she have ever seen, and went inside the pool and greet those who already inside.


"Hello, Mao." Sae beamed. "And... What's your name?"

Aatu smiles and says "That's good" As she looks at Tamara door "Oh! You have Megumi as your roommate. She's pretty cool. " Aatu smiles at her "I have Sae as my roommate. So how big is your family? My family consist of my father, my grandma who I have actually never met. My father doesn't want her to meet me. And me. There is other members but never met them"

Mao's eyes widened as she realized Skyler can see her. "Uh..... Nwo?" She said, staring at her before she picked her up. She yelped and struggled underneath her grasp until she was set to the side. When Sae, one of the girls she met outside walked in, she slowly sunk into the water and waved slightly, embarrassed that her ninja skills had failed her once more and there was a witness to see.

Tamara paused, silent for several moments as she processed what Aatu just said "...What? I thought you were my roommate..." She said, highly disappointed "Are you saying it was predetermined?"


She was more focused on this fact than to answer Aatu's question, or question how Aatu could see her door from here in the first place, or even the front of Aatu's own, since they were both sitting inside her room.

"Yea, I believe so. " Aatu nods sliently "Sorry I just forgot. And someone seems to have moved my stuff to the different room. " Aatu looks around "I just notice that, but don't worry. I'm pretty sure that Megumi would respect your space, she's really nice you know!" Aatu grins at her softly

Tamara sighed "Well, alright..." She replied, closing her laptop and unplugging it before picking it and her bag up. She was looking forward to having Aatu as her roommate, too... Well, if the rooms were predetermined, there wasn't really anything she could do about it "I guess I'll talk to you later, huh?"

When Sayuri heard the compliment for Megumi she smiled brightly.


-Exploring..? That sounds fun, Kiko san. I think there is a bathhouse here, Sayuri said. Maybe we should go find it?


She stopped jumping and looked at them.

Megumi frowned when she saw that Himeko was not her roommate, but instead it was Tamara. "No way." She said, sounding a little disappointed that this was happening. "This blows. We were going to be perfect roommates!" Megumi said to Himeko, sighing a bit. "And I have Tamara instead." @Utfevy

"Sure, if you need anyone to talk to. I'm here" Aatu hugs her softly as she leaves. "You are pretty awesome Tamara. I hope we can become great friends" Aatu pulls away as she looks at her room sighs "I hope she respects space as well." She mumbles walking to her room

"Thanks." Tamara replied, a bit surprised by the hug, before leaving as well. She would've hugged Aatu back, but her arms were full. She walked down the hall until she found her room, with hers and Megumi's names on the door. How long had that been there? Ah well, now that her room's been decided for her, she walked inside and sat down on one of the beds, plugging in her laptop again and opening it before logging into the system.


Tamara jumped a little bit when she discovered that her laptop was on full volume, and the login chime played quite loudly. She was using an OS that anyone would recognize to be almost 10 years old by now, (Pretty much whatever Japan's equivalent of Windows XP would be, if not XP itself) but she didn't really care. She liked the charm it had, really. Wondering if anyone actually had heard her, she started navigating her files to check and see if everything was there. And everything looked alright, to her "Yes... Thank goodness..." She breathed as she sighed in relief.

Himeko watched Ran-chan jump up and down with excitement. Something told her these next few months were going to be amazing. "Oh yeah, I forgot the rooms were predetermined." she said while standing up.


She pulled out a crumpled piece of paper from her pocket and unfolded it. "It says I'm with someone named Tsukiko Hiroshi." she said before putting the paper back in her pocket.


Himeko pulled her Duffle bag back over her shoulder and looked around at the other girls. "I'm up for some exploring." she said before walking up to the Kemonomimi in the group. "I'm going to take a wild guess and say you're Tsukiko."

 

[Maki]

"Bye Himeko!" Megumi said as she left, and also went her own way. She slung her bags over her shoulders and walked down the hallway trying to find the room. It didn't take long to find it, seeing that there were only six rooms. Megumi opened the door and walked in, eyeing her new roommate. "Hello Tamara!" She said happily, closing the door behind her.

Tamara looked up at the door, where her new roommate was standing "Oh, hello." She greeted the girl, setting her laptop to her side "You're... Megumi, right?" She asked, hoping she remembered the name right from before.
