Mao heard someone come up behind her, but she didn't move. Her eyelids drooping as the girl spoke. "Hmm?" She muttered, looking over at the much taller girl, immeditaly getting protective of herself. She only lightly glared at the girl before turning her head back at the door, an annoyed expression on her face as another person approached. She didn't look at either of them. In fact, she looked the opposite way, not wanting to conversate with anyone that's way taller than her. When the other dark haired girl... boy? No, girl.... Maybe... Spoke, she muttered a quiet, "Yus..." and looked away again, trying not to be too rude. Mao didn't want to leave a terrible impression on everyone. When another person approached, she glanced at them and gaped. Even a dog was taller than her?! She fumed and turned compeltely around, arms folded and seemingly now wide awake.

Aatu notice the smaller girl and says "Umm....are you alright?"Aatu was worried because she didn't want her to get sick or be unwell. "Can I do anything to help you?" She asks caring

Mao heard the dog talk and slowly turned to her. Was she making fun of her? All because she was just short? "I'm fwine!" She barked, stomping her foot and turning back around, staring at the wall with her eyebrows furrowed and a pout stuck on her face. Her arms were crossed over her small chest with a realization that she may been making fun of her breasts. Everyone elses were larger. Her head ducked down as steam was practically coming out of her ears in anger.

"I wasn't making fun of you or anything" Aatu says realizing her words were not good words to say. "I was just wondering what was wrong because you are too cute to be pouting. You should be smiling. My name is Aatu and you are?" Aatu asks softly and kind. Aatu glances at Sae

Mao's eye twitched lightly as she shot them and angry glare."I'm. Fwine." She grumbled, glancing over at the dog. When she said she was cute, her modd did a complete flip. Her eyes widened slightly and her cheeks turned a light pink as she glanced away, lightly stroking the hair that framed her face. "Heh...." She timidly smiled lightly, nervously glancing at all of them now. "U-uhm... M-Mao..." She stuttered, awkwardly shuffling. She normally was called scary, not cute, so compliments were kind of a new thing to her.

"Well Mao, you are so cute and adorable." Aatu says smiling "Would you be my friend? I don't many friends back home because of my ears" Aatu points up to her fox ears "I'm an Neko, fox and where I come from. People don't like my kind so much. So I don't get many friends" Aatu smiles at Mao softly

As Megumi was in the Neko's room, she could hear faint talking coming from outside the front door. More people? Maybe. "Ran-Chan, I'll be right back. Watch my stuff for me." She said, and placed her bags carefully on the ground. Megumi quickly left the room, curious and excited to see the new people. "Hello!" She said, and opened the doors for the new people.

Aatu turns and looks at the girl and goes shy again "H-H-Hi my name is Aatu" Aatu looks down and blushes "What's your name?"Aatu looks up again

Megumi looked down at the girl, inspecting her from head to toe. She seems nice enough. "Hello Aatu, my name is Megumi. Nice to meet you!" She said happily, smiling at her, and giving all three of them a friendly wave. "Come on in!" Megumi told them, and stepped away from the entrance, allowing them to actually come in.

Mao blushed harder when she was complimented more. She played with her hair a frantic nervous manner and she struggled to find out what to say. When Aatu asked for Mao to be her friend, she smiled and giggled lightly. "Yus." She replied. When the doors opened, she got hit face first. She fell back and pouted, rubbing her head, sniffling slightly. "Owie..." She muttered, not sitting crisss-cross on the ground.

Aatu eyes widen and she bends down softly and asks "Mao you ok? " She asks worried and looks up "I've already been in the house early today. I just came out to talk to Mao and the others. " Aatu looks at Mao "Do you want some help getting up? I can give you an piggy back ride only it would be an foxy back ride"

Megumi had no idea that she had just hit Mao in the face with a door. Until she poked her head out and saw her on the floor. "Oh no!" She said, frowning. "Are you ok?" She asked, feeling bad for hitting her. Megumi took a few steps outside and extended a hand to Mao, trying to help her up. If Megumi did something hurtful, it always made her feel a little bad, even if it was the littlest thing.

Mao nodded, using one hand to wipe her eyes that were full of tears that she didn't want to shed. "I-I'm okway..." She mummbled. She was already emabarrassed enough and a.. foxy back ride would only make her more embarrassed. Plus, she extremely dislikes heights anyways. When the girl that hit her wit the door asked if she was okay, she nodded again, starting to get a bit aggitated. "I'm fwine." She stated, standing by herself and dusting the back of her skirt and button up off. Mao sniffled and grabbed her suitcase, walking into the house without another word.

"Well, anyway, nice to meet you!" Sae greeted. She's the last to enter the house, as she let the other girls to enter first. As expected, there are several more girls inside. Sae grinned at them and raised her hand to say hi. "Hello, hello!"

Aatu nods and walks back into the house and mumbles softly "I'm gonna go to my room for an second, excuse me" Aatu walks down the hallway to her room as she opens it. She sees an another girl stuff on the other empty bed. She sighs mumbling quietly "Whose my roommate?"

Skyler felt left out as she watched the other's talk and socialize.


Instead of going over to talk to the girls, Skyler walked passed them and made her way to the bath house.


Its been a long day and she could use a nice bath.


As she entered the traditional building Skyler felt at ease. Walking into the back she found the large steaming pool and removed her clothes to settle into the warm water.

Mao set her suitcase in the middle of the hall when she spotted a blonde haired, blue eyed girl leaving the house. Intrigued, she followed after her, creeping behind and humming 'Mission Impossible' while doing so, sticking to the walls and crawling occasionally until they reached a... bath house? Mao stared at the girl before looking at the building... Oh, this was awkward. She let out a slight sigh before following shortly after. She figured that while she was already here, she might as well. 'Oh... Right... Naked...' She thought, her face turning a very bright red as she slowly stripped her clothes, threw a towel around her small frame and stepped into the bath, throwing off the towel, and ducking in the water as fast as she could, only leaving it to where the top of her head was poking out so that she could breathe.

Tamara ran up the pathway to the Scarlet Gardens - Or, the manor that was there, anyway - panting as she approached. Despite being excited to visit the legendary garden, she somehow managed to sleep in much later than she'd intended to. She even slept through her alarm! As she ran, she tripped on a groove in the sidewalk, dropping the bag containing her laptop onto the cement "Oww... Oh no!" She exclaimed, as she pushed herself up and picked up the bag, opening it briefly to check if the laptop had any physical damage.


She breathed a sigh of relief as she found nothing, though she still hoped nothing inside broke. The contents of her hard drive especially were irreplaceable... Thinking she'd check on it later, she stuffed the laptop back into the bag and zipped it up, breaking out into her run again. Once she made it to the front door, she stopped and bent over to catch her breath before knocking on the door, assuming everybody else was already there.

Aatu hears someone knocking at the door and walks out her room and to the front door. Aatu she sees that most of the other girls has left as she opens the door and mumbles "Ummm....Yes?"

Tamara smiled as best as she could behind her exhaustion "Hello... I'm Tamara Otanashi, I was invited to stay at the Scarlet Garden." She told the girl that answered the door, before bowing respectfully "I'm terribly sorry I'm late..." When she stood upright again, she noticed the girl's ears. A Kemonomimi! She'd seen a couple, but never actually met one before. Was she a guest like her? Or was she a servant? Tamara didn't want to be rude by asking, figuring she'd find out.

"It' s alright" Aatu smiles at her while looking her up and down. "Most of the girls are here. There are some that haven't can yet but I was invited to stay at the Scarlet Garden as well. " Aatu looks at Tamara bags and mumbles "I can help you with those bags. They look very heavy. " Aatu eyes widen and giggles "I've seem to forgotten to introduce myself, Hello I'm Aatu Kito and I'm an Kemonomini Sliver Fox. So the ears" Aatu points to her ears "I have an tail as well but I have it hidden. Oh that reminds me. I need to get my beanie"

Megumi sighed as she was alone again, which was something she hated. Maybe she should find Aatu or Mao and hang out with them. "Yes, that's a good idea." She said to herself, and walked around the building, hoping to find them. "There are twelve people, and I've met 6. That means there are six more I haven't met." She thought, trying to piece together something. It didn't take much exploring to find Aatu talking to someone at the front door. Was it another person? It had to be! Megumi quickly made her way over to the door, smiling. "Aatu! Who's that?"

Aatu smiles as Megumi walks up to her. "Hello Megumi! This is Tamara Otanashi and she is gonna be joining us this summer as well" Aatu looks around and asks "Where Mao? And the others?" Aatu looks for her phone as she hears it rings and finds her beanie in her back pocket with her red beanie. She puts on her beanie to hide her ears as she looks at the phone and frowns sighing softly as she puts her phone back in her pocket. "I was just asking if she wanted help and about my species. Kemonomini Sliver Fox, my tail is hidden though and so is my ears now" Aatu blushes

Tamara shook her head "No, it's fine, it's just my laptop. I can carry it by myself." She insisted, before somebody else ran up. She took a step back and let the two chat for a second, as she was prone to do. She tried not to speak up unless someone spoke to her directly, so she wasn't rude. She waited for them to catch up and, she presumed, get around to showing her her room.
