Realistic or Modern Kaki kyūka Yuri Yuri ( closed ) -

Himeko stepped off the bus tiredly with her music on full blast. She had fallen asleep and missed her stop forcing her to catch a different bus back. She slung her duffle bag over her shoulder and proceeded through the gate. "Wow this place is fancy... Maybe I should have dressed a bit better." She said while looking down at her t shirt and sweat pants.


The music from her headphones could be heard clearly around her. The volume didn't bother her in the slightest in fact, it helped her concentrate. In the distance she could see a figure or two standing outside the manor. "Alright here we go."
 
"I haven't seen Mao yet. I think she might still be mad at me." She said sadly, stretching her arms. "But I'm sure that she'll forgive me." Megumi watched Aatu grab her phone, as well as put on her beanie. "I still think it's so cool that you're a kemonomimi." She said, but then realiEd that someone else had arrived, and that she had not yet introduced herself. "Hello Tamara! I'm Megumi, nice to meet you!" She said, smiling at her.

Tamara nodded "It's nice to meet you, too. Excuse any rudeness, but could one of you show me to my room? I'm a bit exhausted after my trip here..." She asked them. Plus, she wanted to check and see if her laptop was okay. Hopefully she'd be able to do that.


This place had plugs and electricity, right? What building in this day didn't?

Tamara nodded "Alright, that'll be just fine." She replied. Sharing a room with a Kemonomimi sounded like a fun idea, anyway. And she didn't seem like the type of person who would snoop around her stuff; Something she seriously didn't want to deal with during her little vacation "Where's your room?" She asked the Aatu, ignoring her statement about the new person approaching. Right now, she just wanted to check her laptop for damage.

Kiko chuckle understand her breath. "Well, there was bond to be someone to bring to much luggage." She then picked up the last of her luggage, trying to keep her balance as she stood up.

Megumi saw that another person was coming towards the house, and decided that she would wait for the girl to get her, so she could greet her. She leaned up against the door, waving at the approaching girl. "Maybe I'll room with her!" She thought, seeing that she hadn't gotten a room or a partner yet. @Utfevy

Aatu nods at Tamara. "Follow me please" As she walks inside the house and looks back to make sure Tamara is following her. "I pick the room with the most light in it because I'm kinda scared of the dark so sorry if that's gonna be an problem." Aatu thinks for an second "Oh and I won't snoop around your stuff. I respect your space and you respect mine. That's really my only rule."

Tamara followed Aatu through the house, listening to her speak "Oh, that's completely fine." She replied. She preferred a darker space, but it was nice to brighten things up once in a while. She was relieved to hear that Aatu would respect her privacy "Thank you. I don't like it when people poke around my stuff. I'll keep out of your space, too, for sure."

Aatu grins at her " Thanks " as her phone rings again but she ignores it. Not wanting to see the messages the students at her school were sending her. Aatu walks to the room and opens it seeing the empty bed and says " Here we go. And I don't like either when people messes with my stuff or tries to find out what's wrong just by snooping. I had that happen to me by my own father. "

Himeko approached the manor as a few of the figures entered. She waved to the remaining girl and smiled while pulling her headphones down around her neck. "Hey!" she said rather loudly still trying to adjust to the quieter sounds around her.


The remaining girl appeared to be the same height as Himeko as well as similar in age. She stopped rather close to the girl and looked her up and down. "I'm Himeko Shinohara, but you can call me Hime." she said with a smirk.

Tamara cringed as Aatu mentioned her father's snooping. Her own father didn't trust her enough to just ask her if anything was wrong? Something just wasn't right about that, though admittedly Tamara herself had secrets like that as well... She sat down on the empty bed and unzipped her laptop bag "That must've been tough to deal with..." She commented "Thanks for letting me stay with you, by the way."
 
"Hello Hime, my name is Megumi, but you can call me Megumi." She said with a wink. Megumi inspected the girl like she did with everyone, and smiled when she finished. "I'm assuming that you will be staying here? If so, we should room together!" Megumi was quick to jump to things, but she didn't know this. Normally she was more relaxed, but she couldn't help herself. @Utfevy

"It's no problem. " Aatu smiles at Tamara "My father isn't an father. Not after Kate left. Kate is my bio mom but she left when I was 6 so she wasn't an real mom. " Aatu sighs "My dad never really recovered from it. I got over it and raised myself. Now my father checks my room every week to make sure I'm not leaving no where. As I think my dad said 'An young girl like yourself aren't suppose to leave. You shall stay here until you wed an nice young boy. " Aatu rolls her eyes "I think when he find out I wasn't into boys, he was more then happy to send me off"
 
Sayuri took some Kiko's luggage in her hands, wanting to help. She pointed to room.


-That's where I've put my stuff! Wanna share? I've counted, there are only six rooms, so you'll have to share with someone anyway, she said. She walked to room and held the door opened.

"Oh, how sad..." Tamara replied, feeling pity for the Kemonomimi. Or was Kitsune a better fit? She wasn't exactly sure "So does that mean you live by yourself, now? Or are you still living with your father?" She asked, as she pulled her laptop out of her bag. Opening it up, she pulled its charger chord out of the bag as well and plugged it into the socket on the wall nearby, attaching the laptop to the other end before pressing the power button. Well, at least the computer still turned on.

"No I still live with my father. " Aatu mumbles "He didn't want my 'sins' reaching out to his friends or whatever. So he sent me to an private boarding school in Japan. I'm actually from the UK. I was only 14 at the time and I've been at that school for 4 years with my roommate which unlike you hates my 'kind' and she is kinda the popular girl so..everyone hates me. Not to mention the fact that I'm the second generation Kemonomimi. My dad's grandfather was one and then until me everyone of my dad's family has been human. So I'm the freak in his eyes. Kate also" Aatu rolls her eyes and blushes "I'm sorry...I just been rambling to you. How about you?"

"Sounds like something my mother would do." Tamara replied "Though it wasn't me that caused her to flip out... It's kind of a long story, but she was very strict on what she wanted 'Her' daughters to be. We had to do everything perfectly or she wasn't happy. She was... Insane, I believe." She explained, while her laptop booted up. She selected the operating system she wanted to use "Honestly, I do. She completely freaked out when my younger sister told her that she liked girls, and she actually divorced my father because he didn't agree with her."

Aatu sighs "Parents are crazy sometimes trying to make their kids perfect." Aatu mumbles "When they are actually tearing the kid apart. My dad tried so hard to figure out an way to make me normal and he even got an doctor that was willing to cut off my tail. I'm suppose to come home this summer but then I won this raffle and I'm here safe. Plus there is no problem liking girls. Girls like Girls just like boys do. Completely normal...well for some people." Aatu rolls her eyes "How's your sister?"

"She's doing okay now. I think it really helped her to stand up to her mother like that." Tamara told her "She's a lot more active now than she was before, I think. At least, if her circle of friends is any indication. She's living with our oldest sister, helping take care of and attend the shrine up where she lives. At least, that's how it was the last time I saw her." She said, realizing how busy her life has been lately "I haven't seen them in a while, because of work."

"Room together eh? Sounds good." Himeko said with a smirk.


She threw her arm around the other girl and leaned on her, once again not respecting personal boundaries. "Lead the way!" her voice finally returning to regular volume.
 
Megumi was a little surprised by the girls sudden friendliness, but shrugged it off and smiled at her. "Yes, thank you!" She said and they walked. She led her down a corridor, and to the rooms. She went a few doors down to an empty room, and opened it up. "Here we are!" She said happily.

-Hello again, Gumi san! she said and waved to her. She turned towards the other girl. Who are you?
 
"Hello Ran-Chan!" Megumi said with a smile. "This is Himeko, we are rooming together!" She explained, looking down at Sayuri.
