Fandom Justice League: The End

Supergirl was soaring through the skies, heading for a destined location Bludhaven. She's almost near the city, ready to see what trouble is going on. While in the air, Clara was thinking what Bludhaven looks like, as she had her days in Metropolis, working for the Daily Planet. She was smiling and thinking about the Justice League and how it will turn out for her to meet them. And officials join them.

Clara was finally in the city of Bludhaven. It looked way different than Metropolis, since its a neighboring city to Gotham. She was flying a little bit slower now that she sees people that are probably superheroes like her. Clara landed by the two superheroes. She walked closely to them and spoke, "Supergirl's here. What's the situation?" Clara smiled as she turned to look at both of the two heroes.

The Watchtower: Gymnasium [L5]

Some time after Blake and Lexi had finished their discussion and then after Diana left Blake to himself while she attended to personal matters, they reunited in one of the Gymnasiums within the Watchtower. Given the limited space inside the space station, rooms like this were often general purpose for different various training exercises and "rated" by a level as to what they could withstand. Level five was the highest; in this case, to withstand Starbolts from Blake and concussive blows from Wonder Woman. The entire room was outfit with hexagonal shafts that could raise and lower and even slant at any angle to create various terrain and other assorted features for training were found within the room as well, none as pronounced as the shifting floor, however.

"Do you honestly believe you can withstand the training of an Amazon, Blake?" Wonder Woman asked him with her personal hint of disgust. While she liked Blake - considerably more than Will or most men for that matter - the fact remained that he was a man. There had never truly been a male Amazon, although there had been Kings. It was not just training. It was a culture. They were a people. Even if Diana pronounced Blake an Amazon and took him to Themyscira, he would not so easily be accepted. In this sense, Diana had no intention of training Blake to become an Amazon. Bridging that gap was all-but impossible.

"To be honest... no. But, broken bones heal stronger," Blake responded to her. He heard the rumors and history of the Amazons. War with them would prove disastrous, even in the current age of technology. Lexi in her best suits couldn't hold off many, Superman with a full charge wouldn't be able to fight many without outright killing them using Heat Vision. They were powerful. Mystical. Intelligent. They were not mere brutes that could swing a sword.

"Your bones are not what you should worry about," Diana replied in a quick snap. He was humble, but at the same time, lacked the pride needed to truly excel.

"If I fail, I'll--"

"Your pride is what you should worry about, Blake," she barked at him, intentionally interrupting him. "Standing in front of me, you don't even have a backbone to break. You may have the temperament of a General, but you have the will of weak politician. I listened to you go back and forth with that Luthor girl. You act more like a senator than a warrior," Diana explained, lining her words with the disgust that came from the comparison.

"Tell me how I could be more. My blasts melt through the thickest steel, I'm strong enough to take blows from most of the League and shatter the bones of the other half. I fly faster than most speedsters run. There are few battles that force me to fight," Blake responded, effectively admitting the problem he had been facing up until this point. He didn't know the extent of his powers, nor had he ever been pushed to really use them.

"There is your pride, boy. I knew it was in there," Diana said with a snarl. She uncrossed her arms and let her dark eyes peer right into his through the distance. "If your blasts are so great, Mighty Starsurge, show me one. Show me your greatest, she told him. She challenged him.

Blake was more than happy to accept. His light, violet hue swirled around him as he charged a Starbolt in each hand. His bright, radiant energy seeped from his eyes while his hands swirled together, sparking the two Starbolts in his hands. Sparks flew from them even more as they started to arc together, connecting until a single bright, white glow emanated from center of the arcs. This was his charged blast - something his mother couldn't even begin to create. The heat alone from the contained blast was as hot as lightning and the power behind it just as ferocious. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman watched it blankly. "A sword that needs sharpened is not suit for battle," she commented at how long it took him to prepare his blast.

"This is no sword," Blake responded before unleashing the torrent of energy at Wonder Woman, creating a single white streak that arced through the air as fast as a bolt of lightning, albeit in a straight line. A split second later, thunder was heard as the air around the bolt ionized. Blake continued to pour his energy into the blast, making it a solid beam. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman lifted her bracers in time to absorb the blast. In many ways, it was the same as the laser vision Clark had used on her years ago. In fact, Blake reminded her of Clark in many ways. Always holding back, somehow believing he couldn't go further just because of how far he was ahead.

After a few continuous seconds of the blast, Blake let up on it. He could feel his energy depleting and while he still had plenty, he didn't think it wise to exhaust himself in one go. Almost immediately, the blast ended with no lingering effects. Wonder Woman stood there with a single arm lifted and a golden band that didn't even glow red from the heat. There was no smoke clearing, no dramatic end to this exchange. Just the silence of failure that permeated the air once Blake realized his strongest attack did nothing.

"Is that all?" Wonder Woman asked. There was still silence. Blake didn't answer her because the fact remained: that was all he had. "I've looked into your records. You think you have the perfect of abilities, huh? Nearly as powerful as a Kryptonian with your only real weakness being a bad attitude and a limited energy supply. As a matter of fact, you can absorb energy right out from a Kryptonian, huh? Use them as batteries. Do you feel like the apex, Blake? Do you consider yourself the top of some food chain?" she asked him rhetorically. In many ways, she was right. Blake was content with his powers as they were.

Blake was about to speak, but before the first word even came from his mouth, Diana interjected. "What will you do when all your powers fail you? You question Batman, but he had a plan. He always had a plan. Even at the darkest hour when a real warrior felt there was no hope, he had a plan. What do you have?" Diana asked yet again. She silence him. Blake could only stand there thinking of what she meant. All of his plans, all of his strategies, revolved around him making effective, efficient and accurate use of his abilities. Very few of them relied on anything else.

After the silence had sat in the air long enough for both Diana and Blake to become acquainted with it, Blake finally found something to say: "I suppose I should get a sharp sword for when those times come."

Diana only smirked. She crackled her knuckles before he retorted, "Weapons are earned in my world." She then rushed at him in a quick dash. She was faster than he was on foot, and his instinct was to jump into the air. Diana could fly as well. This is where Blake had the natural advantage, but he soon found out that was far from around to dodge Wonder Woman. While he darted from corner to corner in the hexagonal room, Wonder Woman was analyzing his movements and angles before springing herself onto a wall to intercept him. Without open air and a straight line, he had no hope of escaping her regardless.

Diana slammed him into the ground once she caught him, roughly skidding on top of him over the tiles. She busted him in the face once before saying, "Learn to use your fists first, then a blade." She hit him twice more, dazing him. Blake wasn't much for close combat and his instincts were dulled by the blunt hits. It wasn't until the fourth fist came down on him that he blocked it with his forearm, then blasted Diana with a Starbolt with his free one, knocking her off of him. A light burn grazed her upper chest and she snarled. "Relying on your powers again. Pathetic,"

Blake stood up, still half-dazed. Wonder Woman hit hard. Real hard. He glared at her for a moment before realizing she was right. He could have thrown a punch at her and tried to brawl, but instead, he blasted her off. Was it the smart move? Probably. But, it was the first one he thought of, and he went with it. Blake lifted his fists, one in front of the other while the other was close to his body. It was one of the Tamaranean fighting stances his mother taught him years back.

Wonder Woman scoffed, but she didn't vocalize why. The reality is she knew that style. It was exactly like the one his mother used and lost with. It was their fallback and it had plenty of weaknesses, just like all fighting styles. More than likely, it was the only one Blake knew. He had no idea how to properly use his body or his abilities, and it was made even worse by the fact he was more powerful than his mother. Blake was basically untrained with no mentor. As their session went on, Wonder Woman couldn't help but compare him to Clark more and more.

The surprise came when Blake was the one to charge at her. He wasn't nearly as agile as her, but she never recalled Starfire making an aggressive move without using Starbolts. This was different. She waited for his first strike and it was a simple lunge forward with a jab. She went to capture his arm for a submission, but a mid air leap allowed him to use his flight to turn just enough to throw a punch with his closer hand, landing in her abdomen. It wasn't as harsh as a blow from Clark or even Jonathan at their fullest, but it had more kick to it than that of most Amazons. More so, it was a surprise. The tactic was similar to the defensive one used by the style: deflect, then counter attack. Blake had make a feint into a surprise attack - something not quite done before by his predecessors. Or, at the very least, his mother.

"Who taught you that? Diana asked as Blake ran at her again. She had jumped back for some distance, but he didn't let up. He threw a high kick at her, resulting in her lifting her bracer to block it. She predicted he'd try a similar move here with his flight, and she was right. He jumped off the foot he had planted on the ground and used his flight to move in for a quick jab at the same place on her abdomen. This time, she ducked to catch his second leg and threw him into the air, leaving him mid flight.

Blake caught himself in the air, but floated back down to the ground. His eyes locked back onto hers before he replied, "No one." He then lunged at her again and again. A dozen times over and he never landed another blow - not like the first one. Diana was relentless as well. Each attack was better than the last. Blake was learning fast just by sparring with her, but he was held back by his lack of experience. Each encounter left him with another bruise. A black eye. A bloody lip. She didn't let him just get away, but he kept coming. This went on for a half hour before Wonder Woman ended it by tossing him violently into one of the hexagonal pillars, nearly knocking him out cold.

Blake stumbled to his feet, but by the time she got there, a simple shove knocked him back down. She saw his potential. He could learn. He would learn. In just this session, he stopped using his Starbolts in favor of a fighting style that used his flight. The only tools he had to fight her were half a style that he never mastered and his mind, and he still proved capable despite the blatant gap in skill. With the right resources, he had the potential to become more. "If you want to be trained as an Amazon, you must enter our culture. But you cannot be one of us, Blake," she said. She then lifted her hands and in them she materialized two iron shackles. "If I train you in Themyscira, you will not be an equal. You will not even be a guest. You will be my servant until I deem otherwise. And, if you return here, you will wear these as a symbol just as I wear these colors as a symbol," she explained to him.

A servant? It made sense. In Amazon, a male servant was one of the only ways a man could exist. The iron shackles represented the life he would accept to become stronger. He could tell that in less than an hour with Wonder Woman, he was already greater than he was before. Blake looked up. His face was battered so thoroughly that only one eye could even see Diana. Before he could answer, she added the final stipulation, "These shackles will suppress your abilities. All of them. You will learn to focus them. You will not be without them, but you will have to use them more sparingly. If you choose to come with me, you will not be Starsurge anymore."

Now this. This hit Blake hard. Being Starsurge is what bonded him to his mother. Starsurge was the hero he wanted to rival Starfire in the halls. It was the name he always thought he would make famous. And, what would it mean for his abilities? Could he still fly? If so, how fast? What would his Starbolts be like? Could he even fight Wonder Woman like he did with those shackles... it was all a lot of questions. But, Blake only asked one: "If I take them... will you make me stronger? Will you make me a warrior?"

Diana smirked again and lifted her head, almost allowing her sense of superiority to rain down on him. "If you can survive it, you will be stronger than you ever imagined. You will train in ways you never imagined. You will become more than a senator at a table: I will make you a General at the forefront of an army," Diana answered him. If he could continue to learn and grow like he did, especially with his powers suppressed, then she had no doubt in her mind that he would be a true force to reckon with on the day he broke his bonds.

That. Those words. It was all Blake needed to hear. He lifted his arms to receive the shackles and Diana slipped them on him. Once the cuffs closed, a transparent chain connected them and in moments, Blake could feel his powers weening. The drain wasn't as significant as the day after using his Hyper-Evolved form, but it put him in a state where his confidence was shattered. Before this, he would have gladly fought Jonathan, Lexi or even Batgirl, but now... now he questioned what he could do. And, in that moment of questioning, every aching bruise on his body hurt even worse.

"Rise, Blake. Rise not at Starsurge, son of Starfire, but as Thrall, Servant of Themyscira," Diana told him. He could feel an odd urge to do exactly as she instructed. Regardless, he rose. He rose from his knees to his feet and felt every ounce of pain rush through him. His body truly was battered, but even broken, he was someone else. He was Thrall. Diana grabbed his wrist and lifted it up. "Be proud. You're the first man of Themyscira since my son, and you're already off to a better start in bondage," she said, as if that was a victory speech.

Brian Hall AKA Condor

-Watchtower Training Room-

Brian hissed as he sat up, wincing at the attempt to fold his wings, Isroh coming over to check on him. "I'm fine." He hissed, "Nobody told me I'd be fighting a damn demon, mutant, whatever cat." He'd been prepared for hand to hand combat with someone trained in assassination...not that. The man stood, not really shoving Isroh but rebuffing him out of his own personal space. His pride had enough of a hit, "Why did I tap?" He grumbled, now of course running through the scenario's in his head on what he could have done, should have done. His wounds while stinging and bleeding he ignored moving towards the exit to the training room, he'd likely leave a small trail of blood through the halls but he didn't much care. Brian was heading straight for the med room, needing to patch himself up...again.

Kenchi Yasumoto AKA Blue Lantern

-Edge of Bludhaven-

After Lexi had dropped them off Zanra seemed at a loss as to what to do next, Milo however seemed to have an idea on his part though he didn't sound thrilled about Kenchi turning him down. "If you need a place for the time being your welcome to try mine." They'd exchanged numbers before Milo had left, and just as he had a newcomer had shown up. Supergirl she had called herself, "Recovery and cleanup at the docks, though the Justice Leaguer suggested we not stick around to get blamed for it. Blue Lantern by the way." He said flashing the girl a quick smile of greeting.

Zanra nodded his head in turn to the girl's smile. "Eos, pleasure to meet you Supergirl. As the Blue Lantern stated, we're here to do recovery and cleanup although as far as I can tell" -Zanra closed his eyes for a few seconds and remained silent- "there aren't that many around this area. But perhaps it's the radiation or something else interrupting with my powers."

Milo Chandler AKA Green Lantern

-Los Angeles-

Soon, Milo arrived in his home town. His family lived in one of the outlaying neighborhoods, in a rather medium built house. Milo was not sure how to approach this. He had been gone for two years already, and didn't offer a sign that he had survived. Sighing, he knocked on the door. A few seconds passed and he was ready to knock again, when a lady opened the door. "Yes?" It was his mother. He looked at himself, then changed back into his usual attire, smiling. "Hey mom. Long ti-" Milo couldn't finish as his mother suddenly hugged him, slowly squeezing him, as she started to cry out of joy. "Oh Milo. I thought you were dead." Milo couldn't help but shed a few tears too, embracing her as well. "Let's talk inside, alright? I'll tell you all that has happened." His mother nodded as she let him go, going inside the house. Milo looked back at the sky, then smiled and entered the house, closing the door behind him. He was, once again, home.

"Black Ops? Tell me what you mean by that? Also, I can train the kids just as fine. But small groups should be easier to control than one single mass."
"Its taking deniable missions, by some of our more rather radical heroes and anti-heroes like Blake," spoke Lexi. "I am not saying its right, but I am not saying its wrong either."

"And to be honest Skylar. You'd kinda flunk with kids, do the point - that you'd need to be able to handle any type of superhero kid, that might walk in through the doors in spandex," she said. "And people suited to those jobs are either me or Superman. Since Sups can take anything, and I can outhink anything."

"I'd wager, you'd do good, if we delegated you to the superhero team. But, if you want to help train kids, be my guest," she chuckled.

Blake stumbled to his feet, but by the time she got there, a simple shove knocked him back down. She saw his potential. He could learn. He would learn. In just this session, he stopped using his Starbolts in favor of a fighting style that used his flight. As Lexi was discussing with Skylar, she sent a quick message over to Wonder Woman. Asking if she was available to spar, for the moment' notice.

She had some leftover - feelings she needed to get over, one was her sense of morality and the other, was that she could still fight.

Sky shook his head. "Fair point with the kids. I'll only ask for hours with Liam. About den mothers, we can decide that later. And no, we're not making suicide squads. We're not Amanda Waller. I am sticking to my guns as to who should be in this council. We need you and Superman for the important missions. Villains and Demons won't send their weak ones just to give us a chance. I a-" He looked as Batgirl stumbled in. Sky's expression turned to a rather curious one, then he shook his head. "What I am trying to say Lex, is that we need this council to decide who enters the active roster and who doesn't." Sky crossed his hands to his chest, sighing.

"Nice to meet you both," Supergirl responded as she meets Blue Lantern and Eos for the first time. She was glad to see more heroes, as she thought there was't many of them. "Unless you guys want to do it yourself, I can assist with the cleanup. I have plenty of time in the world." Supergirl finished

"Nobody isn't going to stop somebody from strapping on a pair of spandex and decided to aid his fellow man," replied Lexi to that. "And the League is currently the only organization, that is closeby to anykind of oversight we have on heroes. And you bet, there are alot of others who are still doing it solo."

"You can't just decide, who is a hero and who isn't," she said. "Check out our history, if you don't believe me. Originally we have had kid-camps, before they could move to the League aka big kids camp. But that proved, despite them being kids or younglings, they operated and fought villains just like we did."

"And no, I don't mean creating a suicide squad. I meant, in diving ourselves into specific groups to maximize our potential. You can bet, putting Starsurge and Will together, won't be the best idea..."

"I meant bigger foes. You don't expect someone like Liam or myself taking on Darkseid or Doomsday head on. Sometimes solo isn't enough. We need a shock team, and someone to keep us together and organized. If Will and Blake are the problem, then tell me who could fill either those roles?"

Lexi merely face-planted at that, rubbing her face in exhaustion. "You know what, fine. Do you what you want, it beats trying to make you people listen to me," sighed Lexi, giving Skylar the go-ahead - despite the opposite of what she is trying to do or make them understand.

As Lexi was discussing with Skylar, she sent a quick message over to Wonder Woman. Asking if she was available to spar, for the moment' notice.
She had some leftover - feelings she needed to get over, one was her sense of morality and the other, was that she could still fight.
Wonder Woman didn't message Lexi back immediately. No, she was going to give her judgement of Blake the full attention it deserved without reserve for something Lexi wanted. The desires of one girl were not going to stand in the way of the honor of Themyscira, especially considering a male wanted to find his place in the world. But, the entire event itself only consumed an hour or so. Diana allowed Blake, now addressed only as Thrall, to wobble into the Medibay of his own volition and ability. Now that Diana was free, she shot Lexi back a message: "I am available this moment. I'm in the communications center if you absolutely need to discuss something, but make it quick. I don't intend on staying much longer."

@Demonhunter

@The Regal Rper @The Great Catsby
I'm glad you did tap! She's f*cking dangerous. Very few fight her and live. Isroh was trying to explain exactly what Brian had just fought without injuring his pride anymore. Look, I'm sorry, but fighting her is a deathwish. She's been killing stronger demons than even Rai for over 50 years.Isroh wanted to help, he truly did, but if he stayed around Brian much longer in that state, it wouldn't end well for either of them. Yet Isroh didn't want to be anywhere alone in the tower with that cat around. He found his way back to the main room where Rai was sharpening her scythes and flipping through an old book, preparing to go check out that warehouse. Then Batgirl waltzed in... bleeding. He jumped and quickly tried diverting his attention. Why does everyone insist on bleeding today!? Isroh growled.

Rai glanced up, slightly alarmed before a cold shudder hit her. A sudden fear in her stomach churned so violently she whipped around to find Zero. The demon and the demon hunter stared each other down for a good long time before either one moved.

Zero. Rai acknowledged, deciding to be at least somewhat civil.

Harpie. Zero on the otherhand, did not see a point in being civil with what she saw as mere animals. Pests even. Rai growled under her breath, such insults were not taken lightly to her kind, but knowing Zero's culture she'd have to take it all in stride. She couldn't be getting into fights with a new team member, even if their species's goals were to attempt to kill each other. Rai refused to turn her back to Zero, who stood arms crossed, still staring the demon down. Her eyes traced down to the mark just under Rai's collar, the rune that marked Rai as mated (equivalent to a wedding ring. only permanent). So you have enchanted a human boy. Beastly little witch you are. Rai's eyes narrowed, she lifted a scythe, getting into a more defensive stance. She knew how Karuara treated demons that mated to humans. Straight to the silver guillotine for them, or a public hanging with a silver cord. Horrible really, but their kind didn't regard demons as sentient at all.

What of it. It's permanent and you have no say in demon matters. We are on the same team and you can do me no harm.

Zero laughed. On league time, we are teammates. but you set foot on the mortal world, my officers have been told to drag you to the courtyards immediately. Stay in the watch tower, stay in hell, but if I see you on earth... you're dead bitch. Rai's breath was slightly shaky, knowing Zero's reputation, this wasn't just talk. She decided to leave this fight be, backing to the ZETA and setting the location for right outside that warehouse. She'd take her chances with Zero's officers, bottom line was she needed to find out what was killing and turning so many humans at a rapid pace. She hit her communicator.

Superman. I'm at the warehouse. Meet me here. I-I don't really feel safe being alone.Rai left it at that.

Zero growls, letting Rai slip off before turning her attention to batgirl.
Attacked by demons yet you have them on your team? Shocker.

"But whatever, I got a quick meeting with Wonder Woman, catch ya later," replied Lexi, as she soon headed out of the confrence room and met up with Wonder Woman.

"Hello, Diana - thanks for picking up, on such a short notice," she replied. "Since your short on time, I'll get to the point. I need a quick match with you - while at that time, I can discuss with you something related to the future of the League. If your interested and got enough time for that."

[QUOTE="Sir Les Paul]
I assure you: it is far more difficult becoming accustomed to controlling it than it is using it. he replied to her. The Black Beetle lifted himself into the air with his propulsion systems. They were nearly silent and in fact could be even quieter if the situation called for it. The air around his feet and midback bent slightly as if by heat, however, there was none. The suit was already displaying some of the stealth features Bruce implemented. Despite his flight, however, the Black Beetle floated over to Jess and her bike, then sat down in the sidecar. I can fly. Significantly faster than you can ride. However, I believe there will be an element of surprise in my flight if it is used after appearing in the sidecar. He explained. He already sounded like a little Bruce Wayne.

Jess smiled. (I'd like you to play Ace. Sorry for my super late reply. I've been cramming for the end of the year)

"I'm not really interested in witty banter or conversations of philosophy, either. I had enough of that earlier," she added, "and I would hate to destroy one of your suits for nothing. I hear they're expensive."

Eddie had arrived back in the tower to watch the end of the fight and he applauded Brian and looked at Zero. "Jeez, is she scary." He mumbled. "Blech." He looked at Rai and smiled. "I'll be here to have your back, demon princess." He said, winking at her.

While Jessica and the Black Beetle made their way to the abandoned warehouse that Ace was last seen, Ace was preparing a whole new, floral beast. Petunia was really a trademark of his mother, Poison Ivy. He wanted something new. Something that would reflect him more. Besides, seeing Petunia cut down like she was - in a fervent, holy blaze - struck a chord of fear inside of Ace. A type of fear he couldn't quite describe. Something that made him fear how he was. Something that made him seek change. And, the change he was after now was in the form of truly differentiating himself from his mother. Ever since that incident, he was working hard on manipulating the genes of the seeds that made Petunia to make something else. He was no geneticist, but his ability to manipulate plants gave him a unique insight into their structure. As if he was part of them. All of them.

Ace had his hands hovering over a few small pods, making them change their shape and form. The hard outside shell of the pods shifted unnaturally, as if something were crawling beneath them. They changed hues and densities. He had been at this for hours. Making small changes, gradual alterations, to keep these plants stable. They weren't natural. Not in the slightest. This took time, precision and accuracy. In an odd way, the new floral beasts were a labor of love. Inspired by fear, but nonetheless, a labor of love. This intense focus made the inside of the abandoned warehouse incredibly quiet. Eerily quiet, especially given the verbose, semi-theatrical nature that Ace normally had.

Once the bike was in range, Black Beetle updated Robin. An individual with DNA of at least 48% similarity to Poison Ivy is within the building. He appears to be manipulating a set of small pods and there is no other signs of activity.

"So what I am hearing," Diana replied, "Is that you need assistance with a mission. Not that you want to spar or talk." There was a hint of irritation in her voice. "Or, did you just message me on the fly in the middle of your mission for some arbitrary matter? she asked, somewhat explaining why she was irritated. It appeared to Diana that Lexi either wanted help or attention, and Diana was by far not the person to seek attention or approval from.

Lexi groaned at that rubbing her face at that. "Sometimes, I wonder how Batman never went crazy with you guys - you speak one thing, yet they always hear the other thing."

"Must I say, I quit - before somebody can focus, beyond what the voices in their head are speaking. The League is...at bestly put, divided more than a daycare center full of children - we go no coordination, no teamwork and no damn leaders."

"Its times like these, that wishes one to, simply quit and go create your own hero-group. Since the League seems to be more divided over personal reasons than ever - despite the large increase in our technological and political might."

"I am not someone to vent to... girl. Your problems are not mine, and whether you like it or not, a majority of what comes of your mouth is personal," Diana replied with a quick, snarky tone. "You are much like your father in that both of you could see a forest and miss the trees. My advice to you is simple and blunt. Stop looking at the bigger picture for a while and get a grip on yourself... because you're losing it. You are of little use to the League in the state you're in," she explained with the same disgust in her voice that she had when she spoke to Blake during their fight. "Now," she said with clear, deliberate emphasis, "if you contact me again, it best be for a good reason. You are a nuisance as you are." She then disabled the comm link directly to Lexi, preventing further communications. While it would be easy to establish a new, secure line, this was effectively hanging up on her.

(Setting the stage, for something devious. Namely an attempted World Coup by the League of Shadows. xD xD. Need to do this for added drama)

Lexi groaned at that again, now finally Wonder Woman too, she couldn't take this anymore. She sighed at that, the League was splintered it couldn't act this way anymore - and the only honest truth to Wonder Woman' jabs, was that neither could she.

She activated a console, and typed away a few commands beneath it - then activated her communicator, setting it to all frequencies. So League members both old and new, could hear what was stated. "This Overload, to all League Members - I am resigning. I am sorry, but I can't do this anymore. Terminating data, goodbye."

With that final word, she deleted her the rooster for Overload - before taking her final Zeta-Beam ride and setting its coordinates to the Clark Residence. Neither of the the old League Members could talk with her straight. So she decided to go visit the most powerful, idealistic and humble one of them all.

The original Superman, as she soon arrived down outside the Clark Residence - before walking upto the door and knocking on it.

(I guess... I mean, I did it for one scene. Am I controlling the original trio now? Tf...)

Clark lived in gated community within Metropolis. While it was no Wayne Manor - neither in size or location - it was definitely an impressive place to call home. Not just because it was a large, two-story building with a well-trimmed lawn, eloquent stone garden and shapely patio, either. The area was close to supermarkets and even a well-reviewed school most of the children from the community went to. It was the high-end lifestyle that Clark didn't live. No, he was a small-town farm boy. This was a whole new environment for him, but it's the one Lois wanted. For their future. Martha lived with them there for years once she was too old to live alone, specifically after John passed. The Kent Farm, however, was still in their family and still tended to. There were so many memories both there and here, in this house. In his age, Clark didn't live so much in a Fortress of Solitude as much as he did in a gated, urban community just inside Metropolis City Limits.

Clark was the one to answer the door. Of course he was; his physiology was just barely at forty and likely would stay there for decades. Lois, on the other hand, was getting up there in age. Her hair was grey and her body a bit more feeble, but she was in far better shape than Bruce. Probably because she didn't put her body through the intense stress that he did in his lifetime. Nevertheless, he opened the door for her with a smile before greeting her, "Come in, come in. Very few people actually visit me at my home... most don't make the effort. What brings you here, Lexi? I doubt it's just to visit." While Clark was considerably more polite than both of the others, he was almost as blunt. Of course, there was a sincerity in his voice. Maybe Lexi didn't realize it, but visiting Clark Kent at his home was a fairly off thing to do. He was the original Superman, the most iconic hero of his era, and now he was retired with his wife.
