Superman set the teleporter and went into the light. He nodded to his cousin as the light engulfed him. In the snowy tundra of Tibet, the familiarity was almost haunting. He breathed out and looked back to try and see his cousin.


Meanwhile, out of the shadows, a male was grabbed from behind and struggled to breathe. After a few beats, he ceased his thrashing and passed out, being dragged into the shadows. A card with a headshot of a man in a fedora was dropped onto the body. A single eye showed from under his fedora."Seems these criminals are brutal but not too smart, but they won't escape justice for long."He said, and in a flash, he made his way towards the Monarch Theater."Time to shake things up."

Hall of Justice. Good sign. Maybe this dimension wasn't too messed up.


"Erinys." The half Amazon answered, letting go of Batgirl's hand. "Let me guess, you're a Cain, right?"


Ignoring Batgirl's question, Erinys easier herself into a sitting position. There were a few twinges of pain, but nothing bad. If that was all the injuries she suffered traveling through the Bleed on her own, then she was extremely lucky.

"How do you know that?" Batgirl says in complete shock that this strange woman knows her Mom's maiden name that she got rid of after marriage due to her dislike of her own father. Batgirl decides that she needs to check in at the watchtower and that the tech on the watchtower can discover what that woman is human, alien, or from some alternate universe. "You would like to follow me to the Watchtower the base of the world's greatest heroes the Justice League?" Batgirl walks to the teleporter room in the Hall of Justice and begins to activate the machine for 2 people. Batgirl walks into the teleporter and instantly teleports to the watchtower. She walks into the meeting room. "Status report anyone?" @Anyone at the watchtower

As soon as the others got up, they were met by a rather weird sight : Skyler, his bow drawn, aiming at them, along with a few of Talia's guards. "..." He did not say a word. The only thing to do was to stare at the two, bow still tense. The tightness of the string could be heard, as the tension was palapable. " You two, restrain Nightwing. I'll handle the girl." Sky said, going near Rai and grabbing her arm. "Now you know why the tattoo doesn't hurt you." He said, taking them both to a sort-of throne room.


Inside, Talia looked at them enter, smiling. "Ah, my champion. I knew you would eventualy come back." She closed in on Skyler, at witch point Sky took a step back, still holding Rai's arm. Talia's grin grew even more. "You learn from your mistakes." She looks at Nightwing, shaking her head. "And you. Why are you here? Didn't you understand my conditions? I should kill you right now." Sky spoke up. "No! If you would do that, the whole League could interveen. Let me take him and torture him... to show you my dedication to the Shadows." Talia let a hand rest on Sky;s shoulder. "You have that fire in your eyes... like father did. Of course." Sky nodded and put a hand on Nighwting's back, pushing him forward. "...Move." Another 3 assassin members followed him.


In the room, there was only Talia and Rai. Talia looked at her, snickering. "...I know what you saw in him. How does it feel to be betrayed?"

In the room, there was only Talia and Rai. Talia looked at her, snickering. "...I know what you saw in him. How does it feel to be betrayed?"

Nightwing looked utterly surprised, but said nothing as the two ninjas grabbed both of his arms. He walked into the throne room without much resistance and when Talia's attention turned on him, and then Skylar pushed him by his back. "Alright, alright, not so rough," Nightwing said with a small grunt. He knew enough about Skylar that he kept his normally talkitive mouth shut for the moment. He heard Talia ask Rai how it felt to be betrayed and he turned over his shoulder and yelled "You get used to it eventually, Talia!" He chuckled and then kept walking, seemingly unafraid of the torture that was to come.

"As one, with a knowledge of psychology would say. To move forward against one' fear, one must conquer and understand it," spoke Medi-bot. "I advice, you to simply talk with her about it. She has made sure, that all of you are safe, from time to time."
"This medical facility, costed exactly 321 million dollars, all custom-tailored to each hero," he added. "And ever since, your incident with Scarecrow. Miss Luthor has had protective detail around you 24/7, scanning for any night-time attack, when your on your off-duties."


"She has often confident, that she fears - she might one day, slip. And end up, like her paternal figure, Lex Luthor."

Jess nodded and listened to the Medi-Bot, but she raised an eyebrow when she heard about Lexi putting a protective detail around her. She opened her mouth, and was soundless for a moment before saying "How did she know...?"


Robin kept her time with Scarecrow, the torture that she endured, the reason for her nightmares, mostly off of the list of things she liked to talk about. As a matter of fact, she completely avoided the subject. How Lexi found out and/or knew about it was a mystery to her, but her heart warmed a little bit at the medi-bot's words.


"I'm confident that Lexi would never slip. My father heard someone say that 'You either die being a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become a villain,' and to this day, he and Bruce are still heroes. I...." She paused, before continuing thoughtfully. "I believe Lexi would be the last person I know who would turn."

Superman's gaze focused forward. even in the blasting blizzard he could hear everything and it unnerved him. Nightwing was there but he was captured and Sky had turned traitor. Not wanting to worry his cousin, he ingested the anti-Kryptonite pill and already he could feel a sort of warmth washing over him. He clenched his fists and nodded."Let's do this." He said and drew back a fist. he launched it forward, smashing the wall in and making the entire place buckle thanks to his power.

Sky was taking Nightwing through the halls. He let out a chuckle. "You moron. You taught the generator was still in the atrium." One of the ninjas laughed, speaking something in mandarine, and the other laughed as well. Sky let out a sigh, then turned to them. "Thanks." As soon as he said it, he drew his bow and launched two electrified arrows at them, taking them down. Taking a normal arrow, he cut Night's binds. "Sorry for that. Had to find out where the generator is. Just pass the next hall, and take the first right, and you'll see it. I'll go and tell Talia I left you with the two knocked out people here. I need to save Rai after all." Sky had his normal smile again. He gave him a salute, after starting to walk normaly back to the throne room.

Rai glanced up as Skylar as he was suddenly a tick rough with her. The copper made her body very sensitive because her nerves were frayed and going absolutely haywire. She winced but then realized exactly what he was doing as he metioned her mark... If he was actually betraying her and if he really didn't love her, that mark would be scalding the hell out of her so badly it could have been deadly.


Once Skylars hands were off of her, she couldn't stand she hit the ground, forcing herself into a sitting position. She ganced up at Talia, pure hatred in her eyes. Your family tree must be a cactus. Cause everyone's a pr*ck. She smirked, deciding if she could piss talia off, she'd buy Skylar and Nightwing more time. I keep trying to see things from your perspectiv, but I can't seem to get my head that far up my arse.

Maybe he'd gone too deep, that was Condor's thought at this point. As he slowly but surely retreated towards the exit whilst fending off his attackers, he hadn't heard any comm chatter in forever maybe because of interference inside not to mention backup never showed. The winter coat he had on now having plenty of holes from their blades. He had a few gashes but nothing too serious, the main issue was that he was slowing as fatigue from constant fighting was setting in.


Two enemies approached and Brian swung wide with one fist, missing as the other man used it to flip over him. Something was off, they usually came in three's or four's...he didn't spot the third until it was too late. The third had a sonic cannon pointed straight at them, He's going to blast his own guys to get me. That was the only thought Condor had before the blast hit, his head felt like it was being split in half as he was half pushed and half stumbled into the wall behind him with hands covering his ears.


It was agony, and he felt blood on his hands as it came from his ears...then there was a rumble and it stopped. Brian opened his eyes dazedly and saw the guy with the sonic cannon not only looking confused but wide open. So Condor kicked off the wall and propelled himself with a large burst from his wings to fly at his enemy, crashing into him. Brian got his arms around the League members neck before snapping it and falling to a sitting position momentarily as he caught his breath and sanity.


Once he stood up he curb stomped the sonic cannon with a grunt, making the weapon completely unusable. That's about when he spotted a hole in the wall, with Superman standing in it. "You're late!" He called out in both annoyance and relief.

Nightwing gave a small Salute back. "Knew you wouldn't let me down, Sky." He muttered as he sat the two ninjas up in a sitting position. "Now what to do with you two...?.... Ah!" Nightwing grabbed the rope from the pit and tied the two together, back to back. "That'll hold them for a while."


He turned and, remembering the younger Green Arrow's words, jogged to his destination. "Holy giganticism...." He whispered, reverting to an old habit from his Robin days. The generator was HUGE. "No way am I going to be able to–" he heard a loud crash and looked over, seeing Condor, Superman (2.0) and Lexi. He gave a loud whistle. "Hey Gang!" He called out. "Party's down here!"

Rai growled up yelped at the kick, her hyper sensitivity shot sparks through her. She fell over and writhed in real pain that she hadn't felt in ages. and it wouldn't stop. She watched Skylar pass her, she cringed as painful blots continued to spread from the kick site. She made eyecontact with him, conveying real pain. they had to get that collar off soon before she sustained anything immobilizing. Sky-lar. Damn her acting was good, she really began to look afraid.

It looked like the weapon was finally dismantled. He looked at Crono and nodded."Hold that thought."He said and walked over, taking the Kryptonite in his hand and breathed out. It looked like Lexi was right. He grinned and handed the Kryptonite to Lexi."Get this in lead if you can."He said. He heard Nightwing and looked at him, floating over to him and smirked."Nice to finally met you, Nightwing. Superboy told me about you."

(My turn for plot twist, xD )


"Got it," replied Lexi, soon enough, pulling a thin sheet of metal from inside her suit - and wrapping around the Kryptonite, makin sure it wasn't able to bleed of any radiation. She soon pocketed it for safely disposal later - before, the sound of some speakers, being activated in the room; and the sound of clapping being heard.


"Well done, Justice League..." spoke a muffled voice, hard to understand, but sounding eerily familiar. "...although, knowing your kind - you were bound to find this, place. Which is why, I had this set up..."


The sound of rock crumbling and walls opening was soon heard - as a trio of sonic cannons were revealed. "A gift, from Lex Luthor...or rather one of his old weapon-base. This one is rated enough to demolish a mountain-side," laughed the unknown voice. As the sound of humming was heard - the weapons had been charged up. "And Mr. Superman, there was one special feature, for your sake. Enjoy red-radiation wavelengths...hope you don't make too much of a splat on the wall. As for the rest, it won't matter..."


With that final tone - the sonic cannon was activated, releasing a devastating pressure force. Almost equal to the sound of a screaming female, demolishing rocks in its wake - before about to reach the rest of the group until..."REVERSE SUIT POLARITY!" yelled Lexi, getting infront of her team - as the pressure force impacted her, and reflected back. Causing a chain-reaction back at the weapons, tearing apart the entire cavern system - and causing an earthquake in the area.


"This...bz....isn't....over....bzzz...." replied the voice irridated, as the circuitry and sonic cannons were demolished by their own pressure wave, reflected back at them.


After the sonic boom subsided - Lexi simply collapsed on the floor, feeling like she had been hit by Superman, a hundred times. Or something similar, as her suit was reading: massive interal failure, energy cell damage, suit integrity compromised, internal bleeding, critical limb damage. Code Red, Critical: Overload.


Well, guess that meant the copper taste, wasn't from her suit - rather in her own mouth. And why she realized, she couldn't feel her left arm, from below the elbow. The notion, she was going into shock, was when she found it funny.


To the rest of the team, they simply got a sight of seeing Lexi jump infront of a sonic onslaught - reflecting it, then them seeing her suit' buckle and tear itself apart, under the attack - taking her left arm along, before it ended.

Superman felt a measure of relief fill him. That was that, they had managed to dismantle the weapon and confiscate the kryptonite that was in it. He was about to speak with the group but a muffled voice chimed on the intercom. He looked around and blinked."Red wavelength..? What is he-" what came next was the worst agony he had ever suffered. He was on his knees and his hands covered his ears, letting out a noiseless yell in tjhe piercing noise. In a blurring vision, he could see his cousin in front of him but she looked just as bad, if not worse. "Lexi..." Came the word from his mouth just before he lost consciousness, his world fading to black.

Lexi couldn't understand much, of what happened - since her HUD was mostly flashing red and 'error'. She managed to simply voice-activate the zeta-beam beacon on their location - to get them out, seeing as how the cavern was slowly destabilizing and starting to crumble.


They would likely scare a few people, yet they atleast managed to destroy most of their needed targets - the generator and the sonic cannons, and she could analyse the voice later. She managed a slight smile, once confirmation was approved - and her world became enveloped in golden, before she passed out.

Nightwing smiled, "Likewise." He said, nodding before all hell broke loose. "Oh boy..." He muttered before the sonic cannons blasted and he covered his ears, getting behind a pile of rocks and blocking out most of the sound. As both Superman and Lexi passed out, Nightwing took one in each arm, then Lexi managed somehow to activate the Zeta-Beam. The four heroes were teleported back into the medical Ward, and Nightwing was half shocked to see Jess in the machine. "Oh thank God..." He muttered. "Hey, Medi-Bots? We got a couple of unconscious heroes over here. One of them seems to have lost an arm." He said calmly.


"I'm fi– DAD!!" Jess yelled, sitting straight up. "Oh my god... What happened?! Are they okay?! Who did this!?!" She ripped off the blanket, feeling much better except for her now-pounding head, and sprinted over to her father. She took Lexi and set her down on the bed next to her, doing her best to gently take of as much of Lexi's remaining armor as she could, her swift, dexterous hands making quick work of the suit. She let bits of it drop to the floor with a CLANG!!! and once she had gotten all of it off that she could, she gasped. "Oh my god.... Lexi...!!" She gently put her hand on Lexi's left shoulder. Where her Left arm should have been was a bleeding mass of flesh and bone, ending right at her armpit. Without a word, Jess grabbed a roll of bandages and began to bind Lexi's shoulder expertly. "C'mon, Lexi, don't die on me...." She muttered quietly. "You're going to be fine, I'll make sure of that...." She looked at the Medi-bot. "I've bound her shoulder. I don't know what other damage she sustained butnit look pretty bad..." She wasn't anywhere near the verge of tears, just a whole lot of concern in her voice.

Superman's eyes slowly opened as his vision began to clear. Almost immediately, an ungodly headache struck him and he very quickly shut his eyes to try to null the pain."Lexi... My cousin...she's hurt..." He managed out.

Nightwing smiled, "Likewise." He said, nodding before all hell broke loose. "Oh boy..." He muttered before the sonic cannons blasted and he covered his ears, getting behind a pile of rocks and blocking out most of the sound. As both Superman and Lexi passed out, Nightwing took one in each arm, then Lexi managed somehow to activate the Zeta-Beam. The four heroes were teleported back into the medical Ward, and Nightwing was half shocked to see Jess in the machine. "Oh thank God..." He muttered. "Hey, Medi-Bots? We got a couple of unconscious heroes over here. One of them seems to have lost an arm." He said calmly.
"I'm fi– DAD!!" Jess yelled, sitting straight up. "Oh my god... What happened?! Are they okay?! Who did this!?!" She ripped off the blanket, feeling much better except for her now-pounding head, and sprinted over to her father. She took Lexi and set her down on the bed next to her, doing her best to gently take of as much of Lexi's remaining armor as she could, her swift, dexterous hands making quick work of the suit. She let bits of it drop to the floor with a CLANG!!! and once she had gotten all of it off that she could, she gasped. "Oh my god.... Lexi...!!" She gently put her hand on Lexi's left shoulder. Where her Left arm should have been was a bleeding mass of flesh and bone, ending right at her armpit. Without a word, Jess grabbed a roll of bandages and began to bind Lexi's shoulder expertly. "C'mon, Lexi, don't die on me...." She muttered quietly. "You're going to be fine, I'll make sure of that...." She looked at the Medi-bot. "I've bound her shoulder. I don't know what other damage she sustained butnit look pretty bad..." She wasn't anywhere near the verge of tears, just a whole lot of concern in her voice.

Will jumped up as Lexi and Superman arived in the medical bay, both seemed injured but Lexi wasn't in one piece. Isroh cringed at the smell of more blood. He closed his eyes and had to leave the room to avoid losing control over himself and harming somone. Will decided he'd stay out of the medi-bot's way, not wanting to cause any slowing of her treatment and decided to go to help Superman instead. You need anything? He asked curiously, unsure of exactly what to do.

23 had felt his "brothers"(as he had taken to calling him while he was living in the fortress of solitude) distress and made his way to his side...


He wasn't fast enough showing up only to find that superman had already been transported. He sniffed the blood spatters on the ground


Not big brothers blood...smells like mean metal girl.


He looks up at the faint glint of the watchtower above him


Brother had told him not to go there,it was dangerous...but brother may be hurt,at the very least his friend was.


"APEX SAVE YOU SUPERMAN" he bellows


Exploding the ground beneath his feet as he leaps out of the earths atmosphere speeding towards the watchtower like a bullet...

Rai growled up yelped at the kick, her hyper sensitivity shot sparks through her. She fell over and writhed in real pain that she hadn't felt in ages. and it wouldn't stop. She watched Skylar pass her, she cringed as painful blots continued to spread from the kick site. She made eyecontact with him, conveying real pain. they had to get that collar off soon before she sustained anything immobilizing. Sky-lar. Damn her acting was good, she really began to look afraid.

Skyler let out a groan, and the arrow struck Rai... 's collar. It fizled and dropped to the ground. Sky turned to Talia, who was awestruck . "You were right Talia. I am like your dad." His bow string tensed up as the archer aimed his arrow at Talia. "Give up." Talia exhaled furiously. "You little treacherous bastard! You could've led a faction that many battled to obtain it! Do you realize what you had thrown away?!" "Yes." Sky responded, smiling. "A dying faction." A ninja entered the hall, and many surrounded Talia, as some tell her to escape, as the League already entered the premise. "Looks like I was right." Sky let out a flurry of arrows, some hitting the guards and sending them on their backs, knocking them out. After the hall was empty, he went rapidly towards Rai, kneeling down. "Hey, can you see me muffin'?"

The Shroud entered the storage room. There was a lot of cranes and other machines as well. He stepped into the light and glanced around."Reveal yourself, evil doer! And prepare to be judged for your crimes!"


A burly looking man stepped out and gave a laugh."So it's true, some nutcase IS running around and leaving his calling card behind. You're dead Shroud, and I'll personally see to that. " about five men surrounded the Shroud, waving submachine guns but something was off..


The Silver Shroud didn't look the least bit intimidated. "You hide from justice behind your men like a coward would! Judgement has come for you! And I am its Shroud!"


"Waste him!" And at that moment, The Shroud moved, quick as lightning to disable the men. Some were groaning and nursing broken arms.


The big man growled and jumped down, walking slowly towards the Shroud."You picked the wrong day to mess with me, Shroud."

Rai gasped in air as the collar was cut off, falling back as her body began reclaiming itself. It took a bit for her nerves to reconfigure so they would work once more. Rai couldn't get up during the fight, she met eyes with Skylar after the fight was over. She wrapped her arms around Skylar in a hug, eyes closed. I'm fine, thank you. She struggled to stand, shaking off the last bit of the copper stun and looked around. Have the other busted that generator yet? Or will we be doing that now that crazy witch is out of the picture? She asked, glad that this mission hadn't been a complete and udder failure after all.

"I am sure the others took care of it. Let's go back to base." Skyler smiled and helped her up. A few minutes later he exited the compound, Rai at his side. Turning, he launched two inferno arrows, the whole construction starting to burn down. "...Had to make sure." Walking slowly, they arrived at the plane. Sky picked Rai up in his arms, and seated her in the plane, then he took the helm. "Also, sorry for that. Had to be convincing."


Later, they arrived at the tower, and sky jumped out of the plane. "We're home!" Skyler yelled, as he again picked Rai up in his arms, moving towards the main hall.

Superman opened his eyes and saw Will's shadow coming into the room."...About sixty bottles of aspirin would be a good start." He said. His ears picked up yelling and he cringed as his head pounded."Looks like Sky's back.." He said in a groaning murmur.
