Realistic or Modern Just Your Average Highschool Roleplay

Lindsey had arrived late after Church, her father had dropped her off, still in her dress clothes she arrived at the school, she arrived at class and sat down, she grabbed her Math Book and her Bible, she hid her bible under the desk as class started

Math was boring. Alden had stopped paying attention to the teacher's insipid words a while ago, regretting only bringing a notebook and pencil now that they needed something to do. Then a girl entered late, and suddenly there was a world of opportunity as she sat in the desk next to them. "Hey," they whispered, a light smile tugging at the tips of their mouth even in this tiresome class. @TrumpetGuy

Carter had finished running his laps before most had. His eyes flickered over those who had yet to finish. He placed his hands on his hips as he watched, finding nothing better to do. Perhaps he could ask if it was allowed to do more laps? Shaking his head, he made to sit down on one of the side bleachers.

"Lindsey, if you were Robin Hood trying to shoot an arrow from horseback, and you knew how fast your arrow would travel to get to the targeted apple some distance away, how would that affect your aim?"

@TrumpetGuy

Tyler walked in to math class in headed strait for the teacher not bothering with looking at the class. To everyone else it seemed as if he was a jerk face but on the inside he was just really nervous. ' Calm down it's just school . Different place same type of people...hopefully.' He showed the teacher his schedule and mumbled his replies to her ( ? ) while she gathered the class syllabus and a few other papers. Once given the papers he sat in the seat that was pointed out to him right in front of Lindsey.

"Hello", said Lindsey, as she was adjusting her skirt while sitting down, she grabbed her Math book and proceeded to pay attenion to the teacher

"Ummm it would make you more nervous I guess" said Lindsey not really paying attention to his question, she proceeded to plant her face back in the math book, once the class was done she grabbed her Bible, but dropped it in the teachers sight.

Alden sighed, though their smile grew at at least some comversation, despite how minimal. At least this godforsaken class would be over soon, right?

A new kid entered, face straight ahead, but hey, the teacher was distracted by them, and Alden deeply admired the saying 'you do you' so they didn't really care. As class ended, Alden stood up, and turned to the sound of a thud to see Lindsey with a bible. They were sure she could pick that up on her own, so they just turned to once again face the halls.

Antonio Durante

So he may have skipped a few classes on the first day. Not his fault the carnival needed help setting up the tents. Or the fact he'd started talking to a pretty acrobat. Ah, yes. Education. Apparently his saviour to this supposedly gypsy lifestyle he happened to enjoy. It would be like any other school he attended of course. Now wandering into the office he faced the dry looking secretary, whom gave a bored gaze. "Name?" The italian draped his arm over the desk, a white toothed grin plastered across his tanned features. "Antonio Durante" Came the smooth reply. His voice whiskey-cured, with a low smoky sound. "I believe I missed a few lessons... I'll just need a timetable if that would be alright." And of course it would. With devilish looks, melting eyes, and a wide grin- the italian could get almost anything he wanted. The secretary flusteredly handed over the paperwork, which Durante snatched up in an elegant flick. Just in time for the lunch period.

Carny rule number 1: Always be the innocent bystander.

Lindsey chased after them and said "Excuse me" "Why didnt you pick up the Bible for me, your supposed to respect women you know !" angrily shouted Lindsey

It took Alden a second to realize that the girl from math class was, in fact, shouting at them. It took another couple of seconds for it to really sink in. They turned on their foot to face her, a bemused curve to their smile.

"I was sure you could handle it," Alden said to her, voice calm despite the fact that she was yelling at them. That wasn't really necessary. "And it looks like you did, so I don't really understand why it's so awful I didn't pick up your bible for you."

With a look of disdain, Carter watched as the students that had been loitering around the tracks began moving towards the cafeteria's general area as the bell which signaled the end of class and the beginning of Lunch rang out and was heard by all. He stood by, not wanting to be caught up in the crowd. Once the flock of students was out of sight, he made to go to the locker rooms, but unlike most others didn't seem in a hurry to get to Lunch. Upon his arrival, most had cleared out of the men's changing rooms. The red head changed at a leisurely pace, it was rather obvious to anyone that had been watching him during this time span that he dreaded the break periods. Lifting his black hoodie over his head, a look of anxiety flashed over his features as more males had filed in to get changed. With more haste this time, he pulled on his red worn out jeans. Said male, turned on his heel and slung his backpack over his shoulder.

In an attempt to flee the cluster of male students, he ran into many more than he would have liked. This only rewarded him with looks of disgust and a more than plentiful amount of glares from more than half of the population found in the room. He didn't turn back to apologize, his breathing had become far too uneven at this point. Carter escaped swiftly, although he hadn't gone unnoticed like he had planned beforehand. A small groan escaped his lips and a hand was raised in an effort to hide his face. The library. Not many visited it, most tended to be in the cafeteria or loitering in the hallways. Once he had calmed himself enough, he made a break for what he liked to view as his "safe haven".

"Ok,let's go hang out somewhere.I'm not really that hungry..Are you?" He asked. "Cause if you are,we can go get some lunch if you want.Just as long as your happy" He said and looked at her, smiling.

Tyler sighed as he gathered all of his things at the end of class ' First class down ..several more to go.' As he stood he watched Lindsay drop her bible and raised his eyebrow as the whole altercation went down.

"Excuse me" "Why didn't you pick up the Bible for me, your supposed to respect women you know !" angrily shouted Lindsey

" What utter bullshit....." He responded without knowing he said anything out loud.

Alden's grin grew, knowing they weren't the only one who thought this made no sense. They gestured towards Tyler, who they recognized as the kid who had been late. "See? It would've probably been weird for me to pick up your bible."

They then looked her dead in the eye and said in the same flippant tone they had said everything, "Besides, I doubt you want my atheist germs on it." Not exactly the truth, but close enough. @TrumpetGuy @Valepicrosely
