Maddy texted Jon back with a hey and too you? Maddy placed her phone in her bag and grabbed it. She noticed that there was about 15 minutes left of class so she decided to leave. She quietly got up and made her way to the door

Trinity was completely confused at Mr. Dewitt's actions. Her heart was still pounding. She nodded and briskly walked over to a lower step on the bleachers and sat down. Mr. Dewitt had always been a hard-ass, and his sudden change of speech made him seem... more human than she had original thought of the man. I mean everyone joked that he was some kind of new-aged Terminator sent her to kills us with our humanly limitations. It never occurred to her he could act anything more. A bit worried as to why he wanted to talk to her she took some deep breaths, and patted her upper chest. She opened her book and began to read. Her one place she was truly safe.


After a few chapters she thought about Jon and remembered he had texted her. She pulled out her phone reading it. It made her smile and giggle a little from happiness. Did she ever think any boy would call her hot? No, but then again she never thought that Jon was looking at her when she was dreaming about him. Maybe he could be my new safe place? She half joked to herself.

"Alright, I'll think about it... For you!


Seen anyone from the team yet?"


Trinity sent the text message then added another one.


"P.S - Mr. Dewitt let me sit out for P.E - Should I be worried? :b"


She was actually a bit worried but she didn't want to bother Jon in a bad way. She didn't want to lose him because she got too emotional too fast on him. "Breath..." She told herself, laying the phone in her lap and picking the book up once again.

Alden put his hand down as another was called on, listening intently to what was said even if he wasn't involved in saying it- the year was young, the first day of school wasn't the time to show off his mad science skills. The girl from the start of class got up and made to leave, but hey, that was her problem.

Trinity set her book down and grabbed her phone again. She had forgotten that the Running back last year was a Senior. She had gone to all the home games, and a few away games.

Trinity knew how important the connection between the two positions outside of the field was. If it sucked then their game play would suck. Click off the field, click on the field. She could still feel something in the pit of her stomach as she waited from Mr. Dewitt. She wanted class to end but at the same time she didn't want to talk with him.

Alex watched a girl he'd had his eyes on leave, so his feet were working before he was. The teacher hadn't noticed with his nose in the book. "Hey!" He called out to Maddy and waited for her to turn around.

Mr DeWitt puzzled over Trinity's reaction, whilst now joining in with the repetitive laps. Mostly to clear his own head, rather than for the fun of it. There was a lot of things he needed to think about. Andrew may have been seen as a 'Down to earth' and rational man, yet when it came to it, he'd barely been an 'all clear' for his Post Trauma Stress. One couldn't simply forget, how human flesh could be torn apart so easily with a well placed mine. The stench of cooked meat, charred and burnt. Screaming. Yelling. Orders in poetic chants.

Snapping out of his bomb dazed thoughts, DeWitt for once slowed down- checking his watch. Five minutes left, they'd be able to go and change. All in all, the end of lesson. "ALRIGHT. OFF YOU GO. GET CHANGED" He called, the students giving exhales of relief and rejoicing. Then again, there still was the girl to speak to. DeWitt approached her, rubbing his chin a moment before speaking. "...Trinity. This is not something I'll be forcing upon you, nor begging you to do. I've worked with many trauma patients. I've also had my fair share, and I understand how it can affect people in various ways. Im worried about you Ms. Avails. I think you know why. If you ever want to speak more about it, perhaps another teacher whom you feel more comfortable with- Please do. You'd be amazed what we can do with the right information... Trust me when I say bottling it up leads to a traumatic episode. My office is always open, and I think you'd know where to find me."
