Just Want To Be Loved.

"And give you lung cancer," Brax said, coughing slightly. He sat down beside Cory and rested his elbows on his knees.

"yeah...i'd like that though" he added looking down at Brax "honestly you shouldn't be out here so late" he spoke flipping his black hair patting his back slightly.

"You WANT cancer?" Brax asks him. "And I always come out this late. Best time to clear my head after....discipline" He says, looking down slightly.

"well at least i'll leave this god filthy damn world" he adds looking down at him "oh i see what you mean by discipline" he spoke burning out the lit cigarette on his own skin then throwing it on the ground crushing it under his feet

Brax stays quiet, scooting to the other side of the bench, just wanting some distance so he can be alone. But he's to shy to actually say anything. "My discipline isn't like burning myself like an idiot...it's more like being beaten nearly to death everyday for being born the way I am." He says.

Cory looked over at him "well why are you beaten?...if you dont mind me asking" he spoke quietly clearing his throat shredding the ends of his jacket.

"I'm gay. An abomination....a mistake." Brax says, not caring what Cory may think. He already deals with hate at home, a random person would be no different.

Cory looked over at him and nodded his head nervously "yeah...good for you" he mutters ripping a huge whole in his sleeve chewing his lower lip nervously looking at Brax. "its not bad to be gay man" he added nodding his head.

"Tell that to my parents. Four years ago they found out and make me remember why my life is wrong." Brax says, not looking at Cory, but looking at the ground.

Cory looked over at him "run away, that's what i do..." he muttered then patted his back "there is nothing wrong with being gay" he added with an Awkward smile.

Brax nodded. "Yeah...tell me that enough and maybe I'll believe you." Brax said. He sighed. He glanced at Cory. "I'll leave if you want." He said, noticing how uncomfortable Cory seemed to be.

Cory shook his head "no its fine...I need company" he spoke quietly glancing around the area then back at Brax.

Cory looked over at him "i get lonely" he spoke following his gaze "i know it might seem weird for a huge douche like me but still..." he adds puffing out his cheeks.

"You're not a douche...you seem nice enough; you just have....interesting social skills." Brax says, grinning slightly.

Cory rolled his eyes then glared at Brax "well thanks that helped" he chuckles "and im pretty close to what appears to be a d***" he adds laughing looking over at him.

Brax sent over a small grin. He thought that Cory was only putting on this tough-guy-bully image for defense...he felt like Cory could be kind if he wanted. For example, Cory wasn't beating him to death or punching him in the stomach like before. That's a start, right? "Better to be a dick than a mistake," Brax adds.

Cory rolled his eyes looking over at him "i am a mistake basically and being a dick is umm...well it makes feel better about myself" he spoke flipping his black hair pulling his hood over his head glancing down at Brax.

Cory shrugs taking a deep breath "it doesn't" he mutters nodding his head slightly looking down at Brax. "I'm dumb what do you expect" he adds shredding the bottom of his sleeves.

Brax gives him a look of compassion. Despite the pain he's in, he's paying attention to Cory, trying to help. "You're not dumb, just...socially arrogant."

Cory shrugged "same thing" he muttered shortly then looks over at Brax "i shouldn't even be talking about myself, when you have a life full of pain...i sound f******g retarded" he added running a hand through his black hair.

"Don't try to act like you know me..." Brax said. He felt weird that someone was being...nice to him.

"i never said i did" he spoke tapping his foot impatiently for no reason the glanced over at Brax "well you do have a black eye" he sputtered pointing at it.

"You can thank my dad for that. And everywhere else on my body that's bruised and sore." He says.
