Realistic or Modern Jackson's Home for the Mentally Ill Teens and Young Adults

Blaze visibly cringed. Crap. "Oops. It was supposed to be a joke." He fidgeted and looked down at the floor, a faint blush rising to his cheeks. He felt uncomfortable again, almost wishing he could escape back to his room and cat, animals were so much easier to understand than people. "I'm really bad at this. But my mother said I'm supposed to try and make friends, so..." He shrugged, still not meeting her eyes.

Charity shot him a huge grin, "That's okay, I didn't mean to sound upset, I was saying, if talking this long is too uncomfortable, you can always talk to me later" She explained before checking her watch, "Oh, I need to go feed my bunny soon... Would you like to come?" She asked with a grin.

She has no idea just how uncomfortable it gets sometimes... But he was surprised to note that he was feeling surprisingly comfortable in Charity's presence, the first person he'd been somewhat okay around in years. It confused him, but also was a little frightening. At the mention of an animal, Blaze perked up a little. He hesitated for a moment, but after thinking about her offer of letting him leave, decided that he might as well. "Alright. I like animals anyway."

Kyra was surprised that the girl didn't just walk past her. Her hair looked fiery up close, and she was momentarily surprised by the color until she shook herself from her thoughts. "H-hi," she said, awkwardly shaking her hand. "Kyra Nevect." The girl seemed very chipper and Kyra was again caught off guard. She didn't think that anyone could be happy in an institution. She had always thought of places like these as prisons.

"N-No I haven't," Ira said truthfully, allowing Durand to lead her towards the stables. She glanced back a moment, only to find the ambulance had already sped off back to the mental hospital; Ira sighed softly, then peered at the up-coming stable ahead. Horses... I've never seen one in person, but them seem huge, she thought with a slight smile on her face.

Wyade shook his head, "Exactly what I've been saying, I was a b*stard and you are acting like it was your fault." He crossed his arms, "You need to stand up for yourself" He snapped, before motioning her out, "Until you learn to stand up for yourself, leave" Wyade growled.

Charity hummed as she trotted up the steps of the stairs, she needed to get fit because her weight was already too much (She is super skinny acutally >x<), she hopped up the steps, when she got to the right floor, she stepped in, leaving the door open behind her as she walked up to her rabbit's cage. It hopped over to her, accepting her fingers, which scratched it's head through the cage.

Alex shot her a dazzeling smile, "You should start decorating, the room feels so plain" She glanced around, suddenly she gasped and dug out a small notebook, she sketched quickly. When she was done, she showed the girl, "What doyou think? A sakura painting right there?" She held up a Sakura tree drawing, "It would look great" She said with a grin.

Durand nodded, as if he understood the final piece to the puzzle. He took out a chestnut horse with a white snout, chest and legs, it snorted, nuzzling him. The blonde boy lead it over to a saddling area; he slipped a heavy saddle on it, after fastening it, he held his hand out for Ira to take. "I'm gonna count to three and you will jump, I will lift you onto the horse" He explained, there was a small step next to the horse but it would take some struggle if Ira did it herself.

Ira nodded, understanding as she gripped his hand calmly. "R-Ready when y-yo-you are, Durand," her voice is slightly edging from stuttering, but she's only speaking because it could be her first actual friend. This stuttering habit is getting annoying, oh well, it'll go away in the meantime.

Blaze followed Charity up the stairs. Why not take the elevator? She doesn't need the excursive, he eyed her thin figure. But he followed her into what was obviously her room. She went straight for the cage that her rabbit must have been in, and he followed. He watched over her shoulder as she scratched it's head. It was obviously very friendly.

Kyra eyes grew wide when she looked at the sketch. What were the odds that Alex would pull out a sketch of her favorite tree. "It would look great," she couldn't help but agree. For the first time that day a smile found its way on her face.

Wyade growled, towering over her. "This. Is. My. Room." He snarled. He was not going to survive being around this girl much longer. He really wanted to raise against a hand against her but instead he slammed his hand against the wall. Trying a new tatic, "Then I'll just have to use you to the fullest then" He ran his hand over her arm. His voice, soft and seductive.

Durand counted slowly, "One... Two... Three" He lifted her onto the horse, gently. "There we go, hang onto the bump in the saddle right there, your a little short so be careful" He warned before hopping on with her, behind her.

Chairty opened up the cage and glanced at the door, "Shut it the door, please" She said, "I wanna set him down, he needs his out of the cage time" She explained, the bunny cradled in her arms like a baby, it looked so peaceful.

Alex smiled, giving Kyra a nudge with her shoulders, "Thanks. I'll start painting it soon but until then, your room will have to deal with this" she ripped the page out and hung it up with tape, which she carried in her pocket for her room. She gestured at it, "Ta-da, as a sign of new beginnings!" She said, with a fist pump (Like, punching the air).

Darcy raises an eyebrow, smirking. "If you do anything I don't like, I will knee you in the groin." She says, her voice low. "And no, I won't apologize."

Wyade sighed, dropping his head in annoyance, "That usually gets them running." He snapped, he lifted her up, under the arms, moved her out into the hall, and shut the door, quickly. "Go bother someone else" He huffed.

( xD Warning, kicking him will not make him like you)

Wyade growled, "I'm not intrested in you. I was trying to make you leave. Pfff, why would I like you" He growled, crossing his arms and leaning against the door, he locked it. His back against the door. Why couldn't see take a hint?

Wyade gave out a sigh of relief, "Thank god" He huffed, moving away from the locked door and flopping on his bed. He would not make friends here. He was determined.

Blaze turns to shut the door, before returning to watch how Charity interacts with her rabbit. It was something that made it easier for him to connect with people, he realized, if they could connect with animals as well.

A full-blown smile lit up Kyra's face. New beginnings. This could be a new beginning for her; a fresh start. "Thank you, Alex," she said. "I like the sound of that."

Darcy nearly runs down the stairs, going straight for her bedroom. She slams the door shut behind her, doesn't turn off the lights, and throws herself onto the bed. Immediately, her arms wrap around her gigantic bear. "I don't even like me..." she mumurs.

Ira moved her hands to wrap around the bump in the saddle, her feet curled a little inward, but never touching the saddle/horse. She smiled a little, brushing the horse's mane before her hand met the bump again, ready to ride when he was.

Charity set the rabbit down which instantly hopped over to the new person. It sniffed Blaze's shoe before hopping towards Charity's bed, it opped up on it's back legs to sniff the familiar comforter before hopping towards the closet. Charity smiled and clicked her tongue, the rabbit turned and bounced back over to her quickly, holding it's head out for petting. "Good boy, Oreo" She prasied. "You can pet him, he's very friendly" She informed Blaze.

Alex shot her a grin before glancing around, "You should get unpacking, this room looks so empty without a woman's touch" She said with a grin before a meowing caught her attention. "Uh-oh. Flame is getting lonely. Mind if I bring my cat over?" She asked with a permanent grin on her face.

Wyade sighed, running his hands through his hair, stressfully. His stomach growled, he was going to eat with them so he might as well make something for himself. Wyade went down the hall, into the elevator, tucking his sleeve over his new bandage. Before coming out at the bottom floor. He strolled into the kitchen in a great mood, suddenly. He glanced through the cupboards, suddenly he jumped as Mrs. Jackson appeared, "Oh, Wyade, I was told you were a great cooker, be a dear and make us all lunch, we have eleven kids and five adults. Thank you" Wyade groaned as she left before he could say no. "Whatever" He muttered

Durand leaned forward to grab the reins, he steered the horse out of the barn and into the meadow. The horse was easy to control and very friendly but eager to get it's energy out. The scorpian caught his attention but he ignored it, focusing on the horse; he nudged it's sides and the horse started into a slight trot, he wanted Ira to be ready before he got it going any faster. "If you need to, you can hold onto the horse's neck instead of the bump" He informed her as the horse started into a faster trot.

Blaze reached down and carefully petted the rabbit's head. It seemed to enjoy attention, shoe continued stroking its fur. His eyes lit up as he gazed at the rabbit and smiled gently at it. "Oreo huh? Why that name?" He turned to Charity, curiously.

The bunny hopped away from Blaze and started to run in circles are Charity. "Well, most people think it's cause of it's fur, see black and white but it's actually because of an oreo I found this little guy. I dropped an oreo on the ground because of my friend, he hopped out, grabbed it and I scooped him up because I believe oreos are bad for bunnies and I didn't see a home nearby and he was so friendly..." She trailed off as she nuzzled the bunny. The bunny then hopped over to Blaze and jump onto his leg, he hopped off and started running circles around Blaze.
