overview

Jackson's Home for the Mentally Ill Teens and Young Adults

It's a cozy home in the middle of a forest, it's completely surrounded by forest and hard to get to, it's a home for people with mental illnesses or disorders.

You've volunteered, assisted or were forced to come here, there are many other kids with a few doctors, you live in your private bedroom with your own items. There is a stable out back as well as a pool and small hangout area. The house is huge, made up of about eight floors with the bottom floor covered with theraphy rooms, kitchens, bathrooms and a living room and game room. The second floor contained a huge library and a nurse's office. The next floors all have rooms on them.

Charity stepped out of her car, it had taken her mother ages to find the place but they finally had, she carried two suitcases and a cage as well as her mother held a steel cage, it was a few feet long and about a foot tall, otherwise it was fairly small. The house was huge, it towered up and was very long, it was really big for being a forest house turned into mental home for teens and adults. It was brick, a soft brown brick. She could see a barn behind her as well as a pool and a large open field; there were horses that she could see so maybe this wouldn't be so bad. Charity had barely taken a step up the stairs when a woman appeared, old and frail looking, "Miss. Charity Bachlor?" She asked, despite her looks, her voice was strong and powerful, "With Anorexia Nervosa?" She asked, looking at her clipboard. Charity nodded, her cheeks slightly red from her mentioning her disorder, "Pleasure to meet you two" She asked said softly before stepping down the steps to hand Charity's mother a form. Charity's mom filled it easily before kissing her daugther on the forehead, "Get better soon" She whispered into her daughter's ear before hugging her tightly and waving goodbye. Charity watched her mother leave with a dejected sigh, "Is this your rabbit?" The woman asked, looking at the cage and Charity nodded, "Yes, what's your name?" she asked, trying to balance the cage but the woman gently took the cage and rabbit from her, "I am Susan, but address me by Mrs. Jackson, I am the owner of this place." She greeted before going up the steps, "I will show you around soon but go ahead and sit down on the couch. Drop your suitcase by your pet by the front door" She said before taking a stand out front, Charity sat her suitcase down where Mrs. Jackson said, going back to take her rabbit and cage from the woman. She sat the cage down but kept the rabbit's mobile home with her.

Wyade stepped into the car, his brother steering him like he was insane, "I know how to get into a car" He snapped, and his brother just smiled sadly at him, he didn't know where he was being taken but his mother was crying, he had a guess... "Let me go" He growled but his brother forced him into his car. His father locked the doors after Wyade and his brother were inside, Wyade crossed his hands, first they clear his room and back it up? His mother crying? He couldn't wrap his mind around it. His father and brother remained silent throughout the trip, it took hours before they pulled along a forest road, his father kept checking the map. Suddenly the pulled down a road and Wyade barely saw the sign, 'Jackson's Home for The Mental Ill Teens and Young Adults' "NO!" Wyade about screamed, "LET ME OUT" He roared, as his brother struggled to hold him down.

Vito sighed as he rubbed his forearm, they were behind a car, he was in an vechile driven by his therapist office, he was being taken to a mental illness home for young adults after an attempt of suicide, he could see thrashing in the car ahead. Vito ran his fingers down his dog's back, he was pleased to know he could keep the dog with him. The dog was a a pitbull, it had torn up ears, scars and a stubby tail but it was still very sweet. It's head was rested on Vito's leg and his suitcases below him. "Almost there" He said softly, the people in the front seat were silent, they wore sunglasses and had spoken only one word the entire trip. Along Vito's forearms, there were thin slits that ran from his wrist to his elbow, all fresh.

Alex yawned, she had an itching to start a fire, recently she had volunteered to go to a mental illness place, so she was going to go there. Her therapist's suggestions only worked a little, she lite a candle as often as possible, to try and soothe her feeling of starting a fire... It didn't work that well. She lite a blue candle and it caught a flame, she ran her fingers over her cat, she was all packed up, nothing in her room was left, not even her sheets. All of her clothes, decorations and pillows were packed away and soon she would be gone. Alex knew her mother hated her, she hated everything about Alex; Alex didn't mind though, her smile on her face, she tied her red hair back into a ponytail, loose but still keeping her hair out of her face. She wore her school uniform, she didn't bother changing because her school uniform was hers to keep. She had been taken out of school early so the car taking her could pick her up to take her to the home. Alex lifted her cat, who meowed loudly at her, "Yes yes, I'm sorry, Flame" She cooed as she put the cat in the carrier, it turned around, meowing in discomfort as she shut the door. The cat was the same color as her hair but it's eyes were an intense yellow while hers was a soft reddish pink.

Samael glanced out the window, he was leaving the asylum, he wondered why, "Where are we going?" He asked his best friend, who sat beside him, the man up front started to speak but Samael cut him off, "I was talking to my friend" He muttered and the man fell silent. His room had been cleaned out and packed up, he didn't understand why though. "Where are we going, Hayden?" he asked and the boy beside him shrugged, "I dunno" He said, patting Samael's shoulder, he glanced out the window and Hayden's reflection didn't shine back because Hayden wasn't really there, no matter how much he felt there. "I hope it's nice" Samael muttered.

Durand smiled as he entered the car of his friend's, he was being taken to a place for people with illnesses like him. His suit cases and dog were in the backseat; he sighed, "I'm ready" He said to the male behind him, Durand flinched, he could see a huge black scorpion on his friend, that scorpion followed him everywhere but he tried to remind himself it wasn't there. He didn't want to alarm his friend. Durand bite his lip, he tasted blood quickly but ignored it.

Skylar sighed heavily, they were driving, he discussed with his other personalities what the place might be like. 'I hope it's nice' Skylar hummed in his head, Sal shrugged, 'It might not be bad', Natalie shouted, 'I hope we get our own bedrooms'. Adam snorted, 'If we don't, we can just take it over'. Quinn agreed with Adam quickly, 'We need to show him who is boss' He howled. Nichole tsked, 'We'll get kicked out' she warned, with a snappy tone; Evan muttered back ,'I hope they don't mind us playing the guitar'. Henry snorted, 'Let's get kicked out, this place is gonna be torture' He loved planting the seed of doubt in the rest of the personalities.

Darcy walks into the house, her mother behind her with her solitary bag. This place is much different than the last place she'd been in. It's much more... homey here. The other place had obviously been a place for crazies and depressed kids. "Ayela Bennet?" She looks toward the sound of her given name, as does her mother. Immediately, her mom swoops in, signing the paperwork and leaving, not even uttering a goodbye.

"
Call me Darcy, Mrs. Jackson, " she says, running a finger over the sutures running vertically down her forearm. Mrs. Jackson takes her bag, and she looks around, seeing that other people had their pets. She suddenly feels an aching longing for Azula, her cat. Curse her mother for not telling her pets were allowed...

The car had been silent for the entire trip. Blaze sat silently in the backseat, staring sullenly out the window. He'd watched disinterestedly as the scenery changed over the long hours. His mother kept glancing back at him from the passenger seat, but he payed her no attention. If she was really that worried, he decided, she would have stopped his father from maligning these... arrangements. He and his father had never gotten along, his father had decided long ago that there was something wrong with Blaze, and it eventually changed from attempts to get him to go out and make friends when he was younger, to trips to the psychiatrist, and now this. His mother hadn't even tried to stop him. Once she glanced back at him when he was looking out the front windshield rather than the side. The amount of worry clearly visible on her face angered him, so he gave her a glare. She quickly looked away, eyes filling with glistening tears. She didn't look back the rest of the drive.

The building that they pulled up to was weathered brick, and too many storeys to bother counting. He stepped out of the vehicle carrying only his Egyptian Mau, Cameo, in her carrier, not bothering to wait for his parents. His father grabbed both his large suitcases (his mother had been adamant that he bring anything he might possibly need) and they both followed him inside. They were greeted by a old woman who introduce herself as Mrs. Jackson. His mother felt with the paperwork while he and his father stood waiting. His father kept glancing over at Blaze as if he were going to say something, but never did. When his parents left, he stood like a statue as his mother hugged him, tears trickling down her cheeks. His father just patted him on the back and left without a word. His only remaining family member, Cameo, mewed softly from the carrier.

Darcy looks toward the newcomer and, lo and behold, another cat. "Why does everyone have a cat?!" She accidently lets the comment slip from her mouth and immediately looks down, blushing and tugging on her sweater sleeves.

Please don't respond, please don't respond, please don't respond... she thinks, repeating the words like a chant in her head. She wasn't going to make friends at this one. Not here.

Charity bit her nail nervously, she started pacing, her stomach growled loudly but she didn't feel hungry. She glanced up as Mrs. Jackson said someone's name. "Hello" She chirped to the new girl, she sent her a smile, her finger twirling around a strand of blonde hair. Charity was thin, much too thin. "Mrs. Jackson said to leave our bags by the door, she will be showing around, shortly" She explained, softly.

Wyade was taken out of the car while yelling, trying to fight his brother and father off, his father signed quickly, shouting goodbye as he dumped Wyade's luggage at the bottom of the stairs, Wyade was pushed forward before his brother spun around, jumping the car, the car sped away. Wyade clutched his arm, his nails digging into his skin, his heart hurt. How could they leave him, his hands shaking, he spun open a bottle and drowned four pills, two over his regular dose, down for his anger. An old woman approuched him, "Wyade Gornia, enter the house, stay in the living room, drop your items off by the door, I will be showing the house around" She said, she looked at him, her eyes warning him not to try anything funny. Wyade growled before storming up the stairs, pushing a girl (Dracy) out of his way before flopping down on the couch, his arms crossed, fuming.

Vito exited the car after a boy with white hair, he went up the steps in fury. He couldn't blame him, judging from it, he didn't know he was coming. Vito gripped his dog's, Survivor, leash tightly, his other hand gripping his small travel bag, one of the two men dropping him off, grabbed his other bags, setting them in front of the stairs. The other man went up, signing the documents. Vito glanced at the house and woman gave him a reassuring smile, "Vito Xevier?" She asked softly and he nodded, she ran her eyes up his wrists, he was forced to wear short sleeves today, so his fresh wounds and scars were visable. "Go on up, sweetie. I will be" She said, her voice soft and Vito nodded, "Thanks" He muttered, he dropped his dog's leash, to grab all his bags, the dog followed, he moved into the doorway. He dropped his stuff before picking up his dog's leash. He sat down away from the people, he felt like a spotlight was shining on his scars.

Alex pulled her bags away as she heard honking, there was a bus waiting for her, she entered, smiling over her shoulder, her mother shut the door seconds after she had stepped out. She sighed heavily before stepping up the bus, balancing all the suitcases with struggle. She dozed lightly but was awaken by the bus driver, only about ten minutes had passes and she was there. She hopped down the steps and into the area, she glanced around and there was an older woman, showing a boy with black hair and a single white strand up the stairs, a dog following. She approuched, with a smile on her face. "Alex Hares?" She called and Alex nodded her head quickly. "Yes." The woman glanced behind Alex, "Where is your mother?" she asked and Alex felt her face fall. "Oh... She, uh, kinda hates me" She explained with a small smile and woman sighed. "I see. I am Mrs. Jackson, owner, after signing this, go ahead and go up the steps, put your luggage by the door and stay in the living room, we will be showing everyone around together." She explained before Alex headed up the steps after signing her signature.

Samael glanced up as the man pulled over, he opened the car door for him, almost shutting Hayden in, "Be careful" He warned, helping Hayden out of the car before going up the steps, he saw a whiff of red hair as a girl entered the doors above. A old woman glanced at him, the man spoke, "This is Samael Sandreas with psychosis" When the man said psychosis, Samael touched his head, his head was pounding and he didn't understand. "Samael, look at me" Came a soft voice and the woman was right in front of him, next to Hayden, "Take your pills sweetie" She said softly and Samael glanced at Hayden, he nodded and Samael took two pills, the pain vanished. "Thank you" he said polietly before glancing behind him, "Hayden will you get some of the stuff" The woman glanced around, "Where is Hayden?" She asked and Samael laughed before pointing behind him. "There, you act like you can't see him" He said, with a chuckle, a look of concern passed the woman's face before nodding, "Okay, you and Hayden will be sharing a room, Mr. Sandreas, I am Mrs. Jackson" She introduced, "Lay your things next to the door, I will be leading you around the house soon" She said and Samael nodded, going up the stairs and dropping his bags. He began chatting to Hayden, his imaginary friend.

Durand fell asleep on the car ride, he awoke when his friend touched his shoulder. "We are here" He said and Durand glanced out, it was a tall, brick house. There was a woman greeting a male and two parents and Durand frowned, lucky him. Durand's parents were ignorant, pretending they don't have a son because of his shame to the family. Durand sighed heavily before stepping out, his friend glanced at him, "Want me to come up with you?" he asked softly and Durand shook his head. "It's fine" He said, softly.

Skylar sighed, he felt so over whelmed, he retreated back into reality and glanced around, they progressed alot while he was in his head. There was now a forest, they were headed down a dirt pathway. He stepped out of the car at a tall brick building, there was a brick wall surrouding most of the place except for a meadow. He took his bags, there was only two; and stepped towards the stairs. He passed by another kid, his heart was pounding, "Skylar Nikerson? Multiple Personality Disorder?" Skylar announced, with a small smile at the older woman. She handed him a clipboard before turning back to the other kid (Blaze).

"Better than humans," Blaze replied shortly. He left his bags by the door, and was about to leave the carrier, but changed his mind. He set it down with his other belongings, then bent down and reached in, gently pulling Cameo out. She settled comfortably in his arms. He watched, bored, as others arrived. Everyone there was completely different, and he was interested in connecting with none of them. Besides, there were enough people around to make him uncomfortable, so he asked Mrs. Jackson, "Can I head up to my room now?"

Darcy winces as the whit-haired boy shoves past her; he'd caused her freshly stitched arm to slam into her slightly protruding hip bone. "Ow!" She hisses, cradling her arm before going over to the girl who'd talked to her. "Hi." She says softly, placing her bag where she was told to do so.

She stands quite awkwardly, her blonde hair in a ponytail, her small frame in an oversized grey sweater. Her leggings stick to her legs, accentuating the fact that her thighs touch. She puts her weight on her left leg, and cradles her arm, a small, fake smile on her lips.

Mrs. Jackson shook her head but glanced outside, she sighed. "I guess I can show you around. Well, this is the living room, the downstairs consists of six singular theraphy rooms, one group theraphy room, three are down that hall, the other three, including the group theraphy room down there. Follow me" She lead them into the kitchen, "This is the kitchen, beside it is the dining room, you are welcome to eat whatever you want, just no over eating the snacks, we only restock them weekly" She said in a joking fashion. Mrs. Jackson lead them to the game room, "This is the game room, you can do whatever you like here. Over here is the bathroom, there are four on this level in total, two for girls and two for boys" She explained showing the door. "There is an elevator to each floor but we shall take you up the stairs" She stepped up the stairs before showing them a door, "This is to the library, it's huge so be careful, you'll get lost" She warned, "Down the hall is the nurse's office and another unisex bathroom. The next floors are all dorms. Lets see" She slipped some reading glasses on to read the names.

"Charity Bachlor, 20, Anorexia Nervosa... You are fourth floor, first one on the right

Ayela Bennet, 19, Bulimia/Depression... You are the fourth floor, last one on the left.

Wyade Gornia, 23, Bipolar... You are sixth floor, second one on the right

Alex Hares, 21, Pyromania/OCD... Fourth floor, last one on the right

Blaze Hawthorne, 17, SPD/PPD/Perfectism... You are fifth floor, third one on the left

Durand Masks, 22, Schizophrenia... Fifth floor, second one left

Skylar Nikerson, 18, Multiple Personality Disorderr... Fifth floor, third one on the right

Samael Sandreas, 17, Psychosis... Sixth floor, first one on the left

Vito Xevier, 19, Major Depression... Fourth floor, second to last one on the left."
She recited for all the kids.

Charity went to respond to Ayela when Mrs. Jackson called them, she followed, quiet but impressed with the decorating skills. When the mentioned library Charity perked up in intrest, she loved reading. Finally, the tour ended... Charity with pure red, "Y-Yes" She muttered, hiding her face when Mrs. Jackson called her name, she didn't want people to know why she was there.

Wyade growled when she said his name, the woman gave him a sharp look and he huffed, remaining quiet but a dark feeling radiated off of him. He was basically seperated only some kid with Psychosis was on his level. Ugh.

Vito cleared his throat, "Mrs... Jackson, why am I on the floor with all females?" He asked, softly. The woman glanced him up and down, "Because of your recent attempt of suicide, you will be checked on constantly, and the first level of dorms is the easiest to get too." She explained. Vito's cheeks caught on fire, "Yes, m-madam" He muttered, his head down, he ran his finger over his dog's head.

Alex hummed softly, she didn't care what people thought, she was eager to get into her room and start decorating it. Alex's fingers were doing the indication like they were lighting a lighter but nothing was in her hand, the other hand was her cat's cage.

Samael didn't seem to notice, he glanced up at hearing his name, the sixth floor, first one on the left. He repeated, he turned to Hayden, "Remember that, please?" He asked before turning back and fading out again.

Durand listened, he already had them all memorized, Anorexic, Depression/Bulimia, Bipolar, Pyromania, SPD/PPD/Perfectism, Multiple Personality Disorder, Psychosis and Major Depression. He glanced at each person's reaction, pin pointing who was who. Durand could see the black scorpian, it was on Mrs. Jackson's shoulders but no one else could see it. He reminded himself.

Skylar's cheeks turned pink at his name, he made a slight nod at his name. Fifth floor, third one on the right. He chanted in his head, not wanting to forget. He had already memorized the words

Darcy nods and memorizes her room. She always seems to get put at the end of the hall.

She sees Charity blushing and steps up to her. "Don't bother hiding it. Everyone's gonna find out everything about everyone while we're here. Besides, not eating is a lot less embarrassing than you might think."

After that, she steps away, heading toward the library. She can decorate later.

Darcy takes in the rows of books and runs her hands lovingly along the spines, finding her way to the back of the room.

Charity nodded, her blush fading slightly before she goes down the steps to bring her bags into her room, it takes her two trips up the stairs before everything was in her room. She set up her rabbits cage before setting him inside, "There you go" She hummed, she unpacked her clothes, hanging her shirts and pants up while putting her under garments into the dresser inside. She set her three pairs of shoes in her closet, boots, hiking shoes and flipflops; she set up her shampoos in the bathroom and started filling the small shelf with her books that she had brought. She changed the bed into her comforters, folding the ones given and setting them on the top shelf of the closet. She threw the pillows up there as well, preferring her own.

Wyade went down the steps and took the elevator to the sixth floor, balancing all the suitcases. He opened the door threw his suitcase on the bed before locking his door. He started by throwing his clothes in the closet, he would hang them later, he threw the rest of his suitcases in the corner of the room before flopping onto the bed. It was fluffy and comfty, felt good on his back.

Vito entered his room, he unclipped his dog and left Survivor in his room before bring his bags up, he only had two. The boy sat the items on the bed before changing the bed to his own comforter and sheets. The dog jumped up as he changed pillows. Vito sung softly as he buslted around, he put his three books on the shelf, his clothes hung up in the closet. Vito sat a picture of his mom and him, laughing as Survivor gave them a kiss. He sat it next to his bed with his laptop on the desk, he put his alarm clock into the bed, next to the picture and set the time up to date. Vito took out a picture, he had drawn, it was himself, surrounded by blackness with red words etched in the blackness, 'Depression is the inability to construct a future'. His drawing was really good but he didn't dare admit it.

Alex squealed with delight as she got the chance to her go to her room. It took her four trips to fully get all of her stuff up their, she released her cat and sat the litterbox in the bathroom, she sung loudly, twirling around as she did. She put her paintings, her pictures and her artwork on the walls, all drawn by her as well as a bunch of blank pieces of paper, in case she got a creative idea in the middle of something. Alex put her clothes in her closet, she threw the other comforters in the corner of the closet, throwing her own red ones on, the cat, Flame, yawned and jumped up, curling up on the pillow. Alex put two candles on the desk, one on the shelf, one in the closet, one on the dresser, four on the shelves and two in the bathroom. Alex lite one, smelling the apple fill the room. She hummed as she set up her laptop and nighstand, finally it was more homey. She flopped on her bed before cuddling with Flame, her cat, the smell of apple filling the room.

Samael spoke to Hayden the entire way before entering his room, Hayden, as usual, refusing to help. When he got his items up, he flopped down on his bed, scooting over to give Hayden room to lay down too.

Durand yawned before moving to his room... "Fifth floor... Second one... left" He repeated, opening his door, he dropped his stuff on the floor, locking the door behind him. He threw his clothes in the closet and a few things on the desk and nightstand before flopping down on the sheets provided, the bed was so inviting and comfy.

Skylar took five trips to get all of his stuff, when he finally got it all in, he shut his door, locking it, switching on the fan and flopping on the bed. He lay there for a few moments before switching the comforter, he put his own over before throwing his clothes into the closet and his alarm clock next to his bed, he put it up to the current time before yawning, already tired. He pulled his guitar out and let Evan take over. Evan started to play, "Oh one day, I will leave this place but until then, I will, stay crazy and love it. When I leave here, I will be so crazy that they'll have to bring me right back here" Evan sung.

Darcy allows herself to revel in the smell of old paper, the wood polish used on the shelves. She enjoyed stupid stuff like that, like the smells of books. The vast collection brightens her bleary mindet a tad but, and she allows herself to hum while she picks out a book.

Finally, she chooses Old Man and the Sea by Ernst Hemingway. Navigating through the labyrinth that is the library, she grabs her bag and makes her way up to her room, passing Charity's room, Vito's closed door, and finally, entering the room across from Alex's.

Setting the book down, she opens up her bag and puts her clothes in the closet. She takes out a really nice, top of the line apple laptop and places it on the end of her bed. Following it comes a large white teddy bear. At least, it used to be white. The bear was about the size of her torso, and a dingy colour that makes it obvious that Darcy had had it for a very long time.

Sighing, she sets up her laptop charger, puts her sneakers, slippers, and riding boots in her closet, and stuffs the now empty bag under her bed. She used to be like the girl across the hall, having everything you could possibly imagine to make her stay more comfortable. But that was the first trip to an institution. After her third, she was denied the luxury of comfort.

Blaze escapes as soon as he can, taking his bags and stuff up to his room. Fifth floor, third on the left... Found it. He entered the room and found it to be plain and simple, sparsely furnished. He didn't care either way. He dropped his suitcase on the bed and began unloading his belongings. He placed his clothing in the dresser and hung some in the closet, refolding the ones that became crumpled during the trip and carefully smoothing out wrinkles. He put things away in the bathroom as well, lined up neatly in precise straight lines. His laptop and cell phone went on the desk, along with a journal his mother had forced on him. Hah, a journal. As if I'll ever touch it. His chargers went neatly beside their respective devices. He set up Cameo's bed and everything, even though she never used it. When he was finished organizing everything neatly, he changed into plaid pyjama pants and a grey T-shirt and lay on his bed. Cameo mewed and hopped up beside him, finished exploring the room. Blaze stroked her fur absentmindedly.

Kyra's heart was pounding and her breaths were coming in short pants as she tried to fight back tears. "I don't need to be here!" she said as she struggled against her father's firm grip on her wrist. She struggled to remove herself from him and run back home. Anywhere away from the place she was in now. "I DON'T NEED TO BE HERE!" she said louder, crazily hoping that if she said it louder then he would listen to her pleas. "P-please... you won't have to see it next time. I promise! You won't have to know I'm there at all!" Of course her father didn't listen to her. Still being the cold man he was, he dragged his daughter to the front desk and waited for someone to take her off his hands. Kyra knew her father didn't want her around, but she never expected this. She tried not to cry in front of him, but it took all of her power not to. Her father didn't say anything to her this morning, except, "Get in the car." When she had woken up that morning she knew something was going on because when she woke up, all of her clothes, and several of her belongings were gone. She hadn't questioned him when he told her to get in the car, though now she wished she did. She wished she had realized it sooner. 'I don't need to be here... I don't want to be here!' she thought still struggling against her father.

Ira shifted uneasily, the doctors at the mental hospital restrained her quickly, figuring it was another paranoia attack. "Let me go!" She yelled, then a tear fell off her left cheek, "Please..." Ira noticed they had moved the bed towards an ambulance; her parents had no care for her or her disease, therefore left her at the hospital. The doctors and nurses calmly held her arms and legs. One nurse in particular had gained her trust, Nurse Mindy. "Sweetheart, you need to calm down. We're taking you somewhere safer," Mindy cooed in Ira's ear, smiling as she raised her head. Ira nodded, another tear falling down the side of her face; she quickly stopped moving, but the paranoia wouldn't stop, causing her to twitch every now and then.

As the ambulance arrived at the large home, Ira woke up, calmly for once. "
M-M-Mindy?" Ira stated softly, the nurse grabbed her hand and helped her out of the gurney, holding onto the curve of her back as she walked young Ira towards the entrance."Ira, sweetie, you'll be staying here for quite a while, alright? If you need anything, they're here to help. Try to make some friends, alright?" Mindy was practically considered Ira's mother, it was the only person Ira trusted more than anyone. "Y-Yes Mindy," she stuttered back, knocking weakly on the door. "We already sent your things here, so you have plenty of clothing and such. And, Ira? Be safe," that was probably the last thing Ira would hear from Mindy. Ira nodded and waited quietly at the door with Mindy; although, she constantly looked around, several mind tricks playing on her eyes.

Wyade stretched, he didn't feel like unpacking, he got off the bed and left the room, he had thrown his shoes off so he was moving about silently. His nails were digging into his right forearm, like it always did but he kept walking, he climbed into the elevator and went down to the second floor. He was intrested in seeing the library; when he entered, he took a sharp intake of breath. It was huge, all in author's last name. He followed his finger along the R's until he found JK Rowling's Harry Potter, he could finally finish the Harry Potter series but first he would have to read the other books first. He settled down in a chair. (There you go ;) For the person who wanted Wyade)

After reading for a bit in her room, Darcy decides to go back down to the library. She liked it there, she could really be alone. So, she takes her book and heads to the stairs, completely forgoing the elevator. She was scared of elevators, terrified that it would get stuck between floors and leave her in a small space for hours. She knows that's illogical, but it stems from her claustrophobia, so she deals.

Once she gets to the Library, she sees that the guy that had slammed into her was there. A frown settles across her face. She passes by him and sits leaning up against a shelf to read.

Ira shuffled uneasily, moving her left hand up and down her right arm; Mindy took notice of this and gently rubbed the young girl's back. "Do I really have to stay here, Mindy?" Ira said almost inaudibly, but Mindy heard her perfectly, "Ira, I'm sorry, yes you do." The girl clad in light blue clothing shifted her footing, she had no shoes nor' socks on to protect them. Her silky dark grey/black hair laid neatly over her shoulders and extended down her back in a wave.

"Wh-What if I-I don't make friends?!" Ira panicked, her paranoia had gotten worse over the years; she had begun to scream sometimes at things unexplainably frightening. Mindy had sympathy written all over her facial expression, she leaned down and kissed the top of Ira's head, then embraced the girl. "You will, my child, you will," Mindy whispered in Ira's ear. Ira flinched, losing her footing only to fall on her behind and yelp; a black blob had kept on scaring her, now it had white eye sockets and a visible white mouth and nose. Mindy helped her up, knocking on the front door again calmly.

Wyade glanced at her, out of the corner of his eyes, he huffed tiredly, he didn't feel like moving so he just turned away from her. He brushed his white hair out of his eyes, scanning for the sentence he had been last on. He found it and continued reading.

Durand decided that he would like to go horseback riding, he switched into boots and a hat, he had lived a farm most of his life. He stepped out and took the elevator down. He went out the front door and froze as he saw a new face. A pretty girl with black hair, "Oh, hello" he greeted.

She tries to keep reading, really she does, but her brain kept registering the white of the boy's hair and distracting her, making her loose her place. Finally, she gives in and, without looking up, says: "I'm Darcy."

Ira jumped, falling on Mindy at the sudden hello from the man; she rubbed her head and looked at him, then nodded her hello's. Mindy looked at Duran then Ira and bent down to Ira's height, whispering in her ear. "Say hello, Ira. It could be your first friend," Ira stared at her, then whispered back, "You know how shy I am, Mindy! I....I-I can't." She looked down, then back up at the man, stuttering endlessly. "H-H-He-Hello...?" Her tone sounded more confused, as if asking if she greeted him correctly or not.

Wyade ignored her for several minutes, only answering after he had finished the chapter, "Wyade" He responded, not wanting to say much more. His right hand was holding the book and his left was playing with the neckalace. He didn't feel like talking but something told him that she would keep talking.

Durand raised an eyebrow, "Nice to meet you, Ira? I'm Durand" He said, polietly, his eyes was watching his scorpian, he wanted someone to say they saw it but it was part of his imagination.

Alex hummed softly as she moved around her room, finally leaving it. She skipped down the hall.

She flinched again, then calmed down a little. "Y-Ye-Yes..." Mindy peered at her, then took over, "I'm sorry Durand, she's shy around new people. Excuse her! Now, can I just leave her here?" Mindy finished with a soft smile, Ira glared at her mentally; Leave me... here... alone... without friends? She's got to be joking! Ira thought to herself.

She waits paitently for something else, an apology perhaps. After a few moments, she realizes he's not going to say anything else until she does. Naturally. She rub her wrists, her three-quarter lenghth sleeves doing little to hide the stitches. She doesn't care in places like this. "You're in for BPD, right?" Mentally, Darcy hits herself over the head. Just becasue you know something doesn't mean it has to be said. Certainly in places like this.

Blaze eventually got bored of lying around, so he decided to explore the house on his own. He left Cameo asleep on his bed and softly closed the door behind him. He hadn't bothered to put on shoes, so he padded silently down the hall with sock feet.
