I would imagine so, especially if he saved one of their children or something. You could say his reputation was high as a result and thus even when they're not sick, they still help him out when he's in town.I was wondering, do you think the nobles of the city would give a Doctor who charges no money a comfortable room while he stays there. I was thinking Doc would have a similar system as Kaladin's father from stormlight archive where he doesn't charge money whenever he sees a patient, just takes donations like food and stuff.
I was thinking he has just been seeking anyone injured or sick to visit while he would have been continuing research on undead in the area, ranging from the poor to any nobles.I would imagine so, especially if he saved one of their children or something. There would probably be issues with getting a free room consistently or at all sometimes, but I am sure people who have sick loved ones will take you in, in exchange for care. I havent had a chance to develop the slums and the red district and the country side farm lands. but I imagine they would have more sick people per family than average. despite being a world where magic is abundant and plentiful, it doesnt mean everyone has the capital to use a lot of it or at all.I was thinking he has just been seeking anyone injured or sick to visit while he would have been continuing research on undead in the area, ranging from the poor to any nobles.
I'll probably have Doc wake up mid operation, consider the information then finish the procedure. There would probably be issues with getting a free room consistently or at all sometimes, but I am sure people who have sick loved ones will take you in, in exchange for care.
