Possibly. I was thinking that he would be of the mentality that anyone that gives him food must be a good person. The problem is he can be a bit clingy but mischievous.
Because of the size difference between the Half-Dragon and the Kobold, he's often perched on her shoulder.

lol i was thnking, he seems funny, chaotic, shirt- Charlie's Funny, Chaotic, Short

Hehe I love it.

I was thinking about working on some environments, but before I did, I'd like to ask if you guys prefer to write them on the fly. Or if it would help if I established first. I see like w'll need a castle, an academy, and a bunch of other stuff. and while the environments will be mostly for world building and a visual aid, i wanted to see if anyone wouldn't like them first. just so i can save some energy if its a bad idea xD

I'm indifferent- if you need help I could assist with world building

city thoroughfare.jpg

City Thoroughfare:
To the North lies the Queen's palace and to the south are the fertile grasslands which sustain the capital. After passing the military check points which are aided by dogs trained to sniff out drugs and dragons trained to sniff out black magics, merchants from all over the empire converge upon the market place to sell their goods. One can find anything in these markets from food, to clothing and some less than reputable good. Although you will have to find a black marketeer, all is open to those who have gold. It is here you will find the blacksmiths, the bakers, and the largest population center in the capital.

Culture:
Most people are very laid back and friendly, especially if you have money. There is generally a job for everyone due to the improvements magic and recent scientific breakthroughs such as penicillin have brought. Most people trust their government and the city patrols tend to be lenient, even though they are authorized to executed thieves and wrong doers at their discretion. You will find at least here in the capital, there is a mixture of all the races. You can find dwaves, elves in small numbers, orcs, and humans generally living in harmony. It is also through the education edict that most citizens are taught about the past and the necessity to get along with one another. " united we stand or together we fall", is the capital's creed. Although as of late, there is trouble concerning the queen. She has begun to make some less than trustworthy moves. Causing some dissent to spread around the taverns and within private quarters.

The capital and empire at large follow the state religion of the god of light. It is believed that through his blessings, humanity has begun to claw its way back from the brink. Through spreading happiness and helping those in need, it is believed these values have lead to favor with the god of light. It is believed that the god of light is also the ultimate arbiter of truth, which dissuades subjects of this religion from taking action against others until absolutely necessary. Within the past century, due to discipline and faith, most edicts have revolved around following the ways of the light god and to stamp out evil. although critics say it is only due to luck the church and state have not oppressed the peoples but they are drowned out by the popularity and cultural phenomenon of the god of light. Every year the people of the capital and across the empire make a sacrifice to the god of light and light it all ablaze in an annual festival, to celebrate a great harvest and to be a harbinger of good things to come.

I welcome that if you wish. I would prefer the world to be built by everyone, but am also willing to build it myself since i started this shindig. :3

There's something that can be dangerous for my Kobold. In a more humorous way that is.
I love your idea. I am sorry I missed it the first time. :) the package deal js really unique. Also glad you found an rp partner to spit ball with hahaha

Gears for the win <3

I will be online for a little while now, like up to half an hour, reading up on the discussion/thinking/maybe a quick idea. Will be more available tomorrow
No rush i am going with the flow and getting a feel for our groups pace. Take your time and make sure to dm or @ me if you need to.

Aue Aue

I was thinking that maybe your character was saved by the Queen, and joined her party. Maybe your character eventually grew in rank and was famous and all, enough to join the final raid on the Demon Lord.

My character has been the one giving the buffs and all from the beginning, but your character probably doesnt know that.

Volcanica is a public figure, so if your character eventually visited the castle with the Queen, they probably have met.

Hmm, this could work

An idea of how my char might improve herself: in the orig timeline she hears about an old man, a solitary martial arts pro and she wants to learn from him, but when she gets to where he is rumoured to live, she enters his home but finds him dead. Maybe DK's agents also heard of him and killed him as part of some conspiracy to decrease the number of information circulating in the world to weaken people. So, one of the things she might want to do with this future info is to prevent his untimely death

When Gears said: "I'm indifferent- if you need help I could assist with world building"
I would welcome anyone helping me with world building. An ic built by the players > solely the gm. I'll always incorporate your guys ideas when they come. :)

<3 I love this idea so much.

How about a small, poor nation called Daliqay neighbouring Blackthorn. One of a kind, a democracy surrounded by kingdoms and empires, but a failed one so far, ruled by a corrupt "elected" council.
This is also where my char could be from.
Maybe her backstory would go like: She is travelling on quest to learn as much about fighting techniques as possible, would end up traveling towards Blackthorn, and one night, while she sleeps in an inn somewhere, she gets ambushed by demon cult people who take her captive and she is a prisoner for the next decade

I was thinking Zyn could be from a near anarchist state, with all the politicians being corrupt, really ruled by the Bandit Lord. I was thinking it looks perfect from afar, with the ruling bandits wanting to attract rich people, but inside is just brothels, taverns, and thieves dens.

Chiester Chiester
So, it seems so far our idea for the SM and Vol connection goes something like this:
In the orig timeline: The Blackthorn queen's party and the SM begin working together after SM is rescued by them, towards overcoming of the main enemy and SM thinks that the magical protection/buffs is the queen's magic's doing and the queen is making Volcanica look like an evil, cunning one in the eyes of the SM.
And since the SM and the Queen died together in the final encounter, the SM would believe that to be the case still upon her regression.
And what will change at the start is that Vol would be the one to get to the SM's prison this time around and the SM will see a different picture of the situation...

This decade of imprisonment came before she met the queen(darn now i need a kingdom name haha)? But I like the idea and ill incorporate this country into a world map later.

So zyn is from a lawless zone ruled by robber barons. Will this place be important later because they are along trade routes or something? Or are they like a small enclave of people hiding out from polite society and only attract people because of their reputation and illegal goods?

They have a few thieves crews in most cities, and the baron king has a bounty on her head because reasons
