This world is for the strong.

With lands of earth upon a large sea there existed a mass of land. This land spread wide tearing borders of vast ocean between.

This earth sprouted many kingdoms, all rising and falling within single generations, only to rise under new names and fall once more due to the fierce beasts of magic. Those beasts eventually grew to enjoy the presence of humans, for the things they did without magic.

As time went on, humans began to learn how to use mana in exchange granting them powerful abilities. Magic not unlike the beasts.

Now, one of the isles of the continent of Rolepadien a group of individuals find themselves brought from other worlds at the action of one of the 3 gods fighting boredom.

Lizali come from the "Great Lizali Empire"
Slimeshifters are from the "Slimeshifter Origins" island, they are also all across the continent.
Goblinoids population is the highest in the "Goblin Hold", but they have other settlements around the continent aswell
Orkaknids can be found in the Ashlands.
Elves live mainly in the "Elven Realm"
Unitaurs only have a few settlements(Unitaur Settlements) on the border of the "Great Lizali Empire"
Humans live all across the continent, but most of them live in the "Great Dunes" and the surrounding forest.
  • The site rules.
  • No godmodding. Don’t want someone with one of those cheat skills.
  • This is SFW. You can mention freaky stuff, but don’t actually get freaky in-RP.
  • I’ll say that risqué images are allowed for character designs, cuz Japan. However, you must control yourself. Don’t use a image that’s too fanservice-y than usual.
  • There is no set of literacy I want, so you can write in short responses, semi-lit or lit.
  • While there‘s no set of days for you to post a response, at least wait for the others.
  • read through the ooc to get the lore

Agreed.

Some concrete info on the starting region/nation will be really helpful.

How do you do you guys want to go about deciding on lore?
deciding = votes/most wanted 😭, if that is most....logical
before we plan anything plot wise, we need to figure out the land around us and the history of it. If it's staying isekai, we want to fit in with another genre as well.

I came up with something if you like it.

History/folklore

This world was created by 2 deitys that were in love, but they couldn’t decide on what they wanted to do with their creation,

They tried countless times to create mortals , but every time, the mortals would destroy each other within a generation.

Every time the mortals died, tension between the couple would deepen, until they decided to create something more permanent, a immortal child for them to look after.

Eventually one of the deities decided they would try to create humans again, and the humans attacked the child. Making the other diety very upset. Ruin was brought to the world once more, for the deities both believed the child was still alive. Then both deities left leaving the third behind, buried underground.

From the third grew lives, humans from the clay the child was covered in, bringing forth the tree of life. Something like the Yggdrasil.

As this tree grew, the humans cherished it, pampering it to be well.

When suddenly the child awoke from their slumber, unearthing one of the roots.

Once more the humans attacked the child, but this time without their parents around, the child fought back once more. Causing yet another extinction.

Now, after centuries, the child decided to create new life ones loyal to him rather than the tree he grew and now took care of.

Civilization formed and kings were brought to power as the child distracted himself. Humans learned magic and some of them almost became the same level of power as him, only they were still mortal where he was not.

They challenged him once more, and instead of taking this challenge, the child grew bored and merely moved to an isle to build a small army of people from other worlds to claim victory for him while he sat by the sidelines.

I love a divine love story. I am left wondering why the third deity managed to succeed where their parents failed, and if he plans to wage a war against the rest of the world, why not just wipe them out like before rather than bringing in foreign entities who would potentially turn against him too?

CHUUYAS_HAT CHUUYAS_HAT are you planning to submit an idea as well?

I'm not sure, but I'll be placing my thoughts and suggestions on the way

you seem to have covered my own thoughts on the lore anyway

Faction wars could be interesting to include aswell..

The land is split between powerful factions, each fighting for control over scarce resources and ancient ruins. Some factions are fanatical cults dedicated to mysterious forgotten beings, while others are merchant guilds that run brutal trade empires, hiring mercenary bands to protect their caravans or eliminate rivals.

It would be also interesting to take a different approuch to our main characters in this story.

The newcomers arrive as fragile, weak, and nearly magicless. Lacking the resilience or skills of local inhabitants, they are seen as unproven outsiders and struggle the limited amount of mana, making even basic spells a drain. Constantly threatened by the wilderness and local bandits, survival depends on running, hiding, or finding allies for protection in the beginning.

To survive, they must build skills, gain trust among locals, and earn enough resources to thrive.

Just a idea that was in my head cause I played Kenshi, lol.

ooo
I love this idea

I'd like to throw out an idea then.

A typical high-fantasy world full of magic and a variety of creatures, from the average human to terrifying dragons and eldritch horrors. But the world is also full of gods, some real some not, but these and other powerful entities are how our characters find themselves in this new world.

Whether you died and were reincarnated, whisked away on a whim, or you intentionally brought yourself here, you awake to find yourself on the continent of Terrect(?) in the kingdom of Cantor. The kingdom is vast and teeming with life, but for all its beauty and splendor there is trouble brewing.

The arrival of Outworlders (Isekai'd people) has started to tip the scales of power among the natives of this world as wealthy nobles, merchants, religious sects, kings and queens, and even deities employ these foreigners to use their sometimes amazing abilities to eliminate the competition. This causes the breaking of old alliances and war seems to be inevitable for many of the continent's superpowers.

So as you find your way in this new world you must decide; will you play the game? Are you a champion of the people? A chosen of the divine? A sword sold to the highest bidder? What mark will you leave upon this isle and the greater world?

Cantor: A thriving feudal nation nestled in the west of the continent. It is a lucrative trading hub and a gateway to the neighboring continent [Insert Name]. Because of this it is yet to be affected by the changes occurring deeper in the continent and instead still lives in peace with the neighboring states.

Outworlders: To the common person these people are not real; they're stories told around campfires and to children. But more learned people know they are very real and some people in positions of power have even managed to summon Outworlders to this world.

Player Characters: (Per Sync's suggestion) Our characters would begin as amateurs in their respective fields and must endeavor to build not just their skills, talents, and their reputations, but also their homes and find some way to provide for themselves.

Glad you included the other's idea >.<

perfecto

Definitely! They were great ideas and there is plenty more room with this set up to add more lore as the stories grow.
