Sender: (Miss) Nana Roshan
Recipient: Malerie Silent Angel Silent Angel
Canon Status: Send in Character, after the events of Healing the Holy City of Vegard

Dear Malerie,

Things have been strange in the aftermath of everything. Some people claim your presence was nothing but a fever dream, as you were supposed to be a monster instead of a saviour.

However, I know you were real. I also know you were one of the most caring and kind people I've ever met. You were genuinely concerned for me and for the others. You even got mad when I didn't rest enough! So how could that be a monster's doing? I don't believe it. I don't know who or what you are, but I know that you are real and I know that you're not a monster. You're a great person and friend of mine!

I really wish I could convince the others, but nobody wishes to listen to me. I'm sorry. Wherever you are, I hope you don't give up due to people being judgemental and rude to you. Please keep doing great work, like you did for me and the rest of the city.

I'll be praying for you to be doing well and for you to be treated better in the future,

Kind regards,

Nana Roshan

Canon Status: Send in Character a long time after The Mysterious Disappearances at Norroburry Lake

Dear Fairy Knight,

When I was looking out over the lake this morning, I spotted a butterfly dancing just above the water. It immediately reminded me of you, so I decided to write you.

Truth be told I was very sceptical that you'd be able to bring my son and husband back. Yet you and your group succeeded and you fulfilled your promise. They're still with me and they're both doing well, which is something I'd thought impossible at that moment.

Sincerely, I hope that you're still able to confidently say that you never failed before, just like you could confidently say it to me back then and that you'll forgive my initial doubts. I've learned not to judge someone by their size or speech, as it's clear someone's heart can be many times bigger than their body.

Please give my regards to the others, should you still be with them or should you ever meet them again.

Kind regards,

Elina Cardiff.

To my forgetful father Olka

Hey, you better not forget to send me a Valentine! You're my father, so you're supposed to teach me how a man treats a lady! Of course, I'm much better than a lady since I'm a princess, so you have your work cut out for you. Oh, I know! That's what my present to you will be: I'll set the bar much lower than normal so that even a scatterbrain like you can nail it!

But--just so you know--I did actually get you something. I worked really hard on it too. SO YOU BETTER LIKE IT, OK?

Ok, I'm off to do something important that definitely doesn't involve riding one of the dogs around.

I love you even though you smell worse than the animals sometimes!

Nat

To the one and only Princess Nat

How could your loving father forget to send you my love? It definitely wouldn't be because your so short I overlook you sometimes. That was a joke. A father can tease his teensy weensy little baby girl from time to time, can't he?

The proof of my love is all around you at our shop--why, it's very name was picked out by you! All these creatures we house and take care of as though they were our own family and then frivolously sell off to the highest bidder like livestock...

[tiny splash marks as though the page were sprinkled with water droplets make this portion illegible]

...and your mother loved them so. She was quite the lovely giantess. I will miss her dearly.

Ah, but this is my Valentine to you, little Nat! If your silly father leaves you with anything, let it be this: be every bit like your mother. Be strong. Be brave. Be kind. Do that and I know she'll be proud of you. I have no doubt that she already is. I know I am.

Hey girl,

Remember how you visited my art gallery with Rose and Regula? It was nice seeing someone your age appreciate my art. Most youngsters don't seem to get it, which is a shame.

That said, I can't believe you took my muse away from me! Why did you two drag Rose all the way to the boonies in Stonewall... I'd never even hard of that place before! As a result, I've been totally uninspired lately.

So, I've come up with a bargain. I'll travel to Stonewall sometime in the near future to hang out with my muse again and to see if I can get some inspiration back.

If you convince Regula to pose for me as well, so that I've got a good example of wings to sketch and carve out in future projects, I'll forgive you for stealing my Rose away from me.

It's quite the deal, no?

That sketch I included is something you inspired me to start working on, but I wasn't able to finish it. Help me out and I'm sure to see it to fruition. That's nice to sweeten the deal, right?

Canon Status: Send in Character, delivered in secret by messenger due to My Fading Dream, after Regula settled in Stonewall in The Start Of Something New.

To mister Barlowe,

It's been difficult for me to figure out the proper tone of this letter.

On the one hand, I'm grateful to you. You aided us, helped us get Aria's legs back and from my meagre understanding, you've shielded us from some of her father's wrath.

On the other hand, I'm incapable of grasping your exact location in the playing field between Aria and Marcus. Who, in the end, would you chose?

That said, I'd like to make a proposal. As you undoubtedly noted, I'm a baroness now. It's not much, but it's meant to be a mere start, as I plan to do what I can to rise the noble ladder.

The reason I'm telling you this is simple.

Aria's a dear friend to me, so I'd like to do what I can to keep her from having more traumatic experiences, including those with her father. Help me shield her from him, and in turn, I'll do what I can to get and keep both of you from of his grasp when t I've obtained enough power to do so.

Hoping for a positive reply,

Regula Caelia

Dear Melissa,

I'd like to thank you for hooking me up with an upgraded rapier, chain-mail and a spare rapier. When you told me you'd charge the minimal price, I'll admit I was secretly wondering what the catch was. After all, who'd charge low prices for high quality?

By now, I learned there was no catch. To my surprise, the weapons are of great quality and the armour still fits perfectly. Truth be told, it's almost too good to be true. I'm not sure what your business model is, to provide such a high grade quality for such low prices, but if it includes making friends or repeat customers, I'd gladly say I paid that price.

It's also making me curious; do you offer more specialised weaponry and armour? I've been debating those special metals. Mithril and Orichalcum, was it? I'd love some advise on those, if you'd be willing to offer it.

I've also gotten curious about the existence of 'guns' that shoot 'mana' that certain people keep talking about. Do you, per chance, know about those as well?

Sorry if I'm just assuming you know everything,

With regards,

Canon Status: Send In Character, the letter reads 'to be opened by the deliver' on the front, rather than stating a name or address.

To whomever is asked to deliver this,

I'm glad to say you'll have an easy job, as I wanted to write this letter to whomever was asked to deliver it themselves.

You see, I've been writing and receiving a fair few letters lately, which seem to have all made it to their recipients in record times. I've got some ties to the Adventurer's Guild myself, so I now they're reliable and have a good work ethic, but these results are still impressive. Hiring them for deliveries has not been a let-down.

Considering how many people move places constantly, don't have a single regular address, move countries altogether or are out in the middle of nowhere on quests, it must be a logistical nightmare, yet the job still gets done! It's almost miraculous.

Although I can't properly thank the entire industry, I wanted to at least thank someone for it. So, consider this my official word of thanks for all your hard work. Should you visit the Caelia Barony, feel free to ask for the baroness and show them this letter and my signature at the bottom. I'll treat you to some tea.

I don't know if you can read this, or if you can even open a letter. Really i'm kind of surprised i am writing this letter in truth to a little princess whom i know very much has no thumbs of which to even use a letter opener.

But all the same.

I know our last meeting was one of conflict, and in truth I don't know why you were on the side of the imperials but I do know this... I do ever so miss my little friend seven. I miss those moments I had you perched on my shoulder, being able to spoil you with but seeds and a scratch.

I hope to one day be able to do so again, I head northward, to the Republic then perhaps elsewhere with a friend of mine. I hope one day to spoil you once more my little feathered princess.

Sincerely,

Finnegan Huttman

P.S: I really do hope somebody is able to help you open this letter, the post man seemed awfully concerned when I said I was sending this to a bird...

Greetings, Finnegan.

I see you're still incredibly amusing and incredibly endearing. I assure you, I revel in this regal treatment greatly. I cannot help but feel as though these dismal days have been saved by your optimistic spirit. Compared to you, I lack the courage to do as you--I am a shy maiden, after all. To be the first to initiate in the expression of communication is incredibly daunting for me. I admire your presentiment of your wishes to communicate.

I learned to read and write the common language from an old acquaintance of mine. You best not worry about my lack of thumbs for more reasons than one. Things have changed greatly--and you too have noticed. But I still consider myself a wishful, fragile young girl at heart. One who desires to be saved by my strong, charming knight.

Won’t you rescue me from the plague of boredom? I’ll die without your presence. Perhaps I shall reveal to you the truth of my whims. I’m a helpless princess, but I have my own little secrets. Wouldn’t you like to know?

Come save me, My Knight.

Entertain me.

Hello Maria,

I'd like to inform you that I managed to become baroness Caelia now. Should you obtain the means to travel across the land for longer periods of time, do feel free to come visit my Barony. There may not be much water, but there's lots of fun stuff to see. Having someone that's curious, eager to learn and equally eager to explain their own culture is always fun. Add to that a cheerful personality and you've made yourself a welcome guest.

However, I must say, I'm still slightly surprised by how eager you were to have me touch your tail. Yes, those scales were oddly smooth and nice to the touch, a good second place directly below the fluffiness of other tails, but now that my wings have grown all out, I realised that having folk wanting to touch them would just be annoying, unless you're really close with them. Wouldn't the same count for that tail of yours? Or are you just an open-minded person?

By the way, is the sword still to your liking? I bet you'd have already trained well enough for an upgrade, so let me know!

Dear Ko,

Is the sword I forged you still to your liking?

You'd already left when I realised that I never even asked if you wanted me to also enchant it. I might have been a bit distracted by something, so I apologise for that.

However, if you want me to enchant it and perhaps also give it an upgrade while we're at it, I'm willing to, well, make the same deal as previously? Of course, I can't have you tell anyone else about this type of deal, as to not make me look like some sort of pervert undercut the market on accident.

Either way, I've managed to obtain the barony I was hoping to obtain. Perhaps I'll have some job openings for someone of your talent soon.

I'm also looking for someone to return a run-away friend of mine. He's a big iron carriage called Pierre Rothel, so finding him shouldn't be too difficult. He wrongfully believes I can't handle whatever troubles he thinks he'd bring me, an utmost foolish thought. If you can return him to me, ideally without harming him too badly, you'd have a great deal of my gratitude.

Although I'm still not quite sure how you rapidly became the prime inheritor of Stonewall's Smithy, I must commend you on your initiative and on your hard work.

Considering I wanted to show a sign of gratitude and considering I can always appreciate someone pursuing the same craft as mine, I wanted to let you in on the techniques I've used for own my gun. Whilst this knowledge isn't exactly top secret, I'd rather not have it out in the open either, so I'd like for you to keep it away from curious eyes and for you to destroy it once you've learned enough from it.

The notes included are my most recent changes, which should have brought it to entirely new levels of efficiency and which should deal with some old problems. It's something I haven't shown anyone yet, not even my own master, but I'm fairly proud of it. Even so, I'm open to suggestion, should you have some. Now that I've got to focus on my barony, I'm afraid my time to work on my projects is severely limited, but I've got high hopes for you instead.

Potion-making is a craft that I'm admittedly unfamiliar with, but I heard great things about its results. Their usage might also be beneficial for the development of the barony I'm currently running. It's why I'd like to invite you to come and sell your wares here, in Caelia Barony. Should such an endeavour prove successful, I'd even go as far as to say I'd consider asking you to open up a more permanent store-front in the town of Stonewall.

Dear miss Bloodraven,

Forgive me for reaching out to you, despite us being unacquainted.

However, I've heard some surprising stories. Namely, that you are a vampire, yet not a [monster].

That's something I'd formally deemed to be impossible.

You see, I am personally in the unfortunate of being both vampire and monster.

Please don't misunderstand. I fight that side of me with all my might and I'm proud to say I've been successful thus far. However, the desires to destroy, to mutilate, to harm... they grow stronger each day. I've also been extremely lucky to find willing blood donors, but I fear the day that the thirst overcomes me without any such donors being around.

So please, tell me, what is your secret? How did you get rid of your monstrous side? Or are those mere lies? Or did you never have one to begin with? Your existence is one that I deeply crave to be, so please, I beg of you, share with me your knowledge.

Considering my identity, I have to be careful not to be found, but I'll leave a way for you to contact me. Please, don't break that sign of trust.

Dear Kate,

I admire your outreach as well as your attempts to control the more 'monstrous' side of yours. It truly is a noble and just cause, one requiring immense self-control and willpower. However, I'm afraid I must be the bearer of bad news;

My Vampirism is unlike your own. I believe the correct term for my specific race is 'Moonblessed Vampire' and that such a race is firmly cemented within the Human tree. I know very little of my circumstances, in fact, you could say I woke up one day only to know this as my fate. My own hypothesis is that my condition is a blessing as opposed to a curse, or at least so it is viewed by the gods. Though that is just an assumption based on my race title.

I have never hungered for the blood of other humanoid races. Nor has the sight of such blood ever appealed to me. Animal blood on the other hand is something I do find quite hypnotising when hungry. I am also told demon blood may be of interest to me but that is just something I read, a myth if you will.

I hold no animosity toward other vampires, your secret is safe with me. I wish you luck in your endeavours.

Kindest of regards,
Nox

To the only bird I've ever hated,

Life is a funny thing. When I close my eyes, I still hear, smell and almost feel the blazing fires.

You know what's even weirder? I also, vividly, recall there to be a random bird. Small, pristine, gorgeous, I'd dare say. The type of animal I'd have loved to make into a songbird at my court, the type to feed the most luscious seeds on a daily basis.

If it hadn't been for the fact it'd been on the shoulder of my most hated enemies, of course. Something like that ruins a first impression rather thoroughly.

They say that in the See, nothing is what it seems to be. So, tell me, what are you really?

It's odd to have such a desire to kill something I know so little about. To want to burn alive something that looks so gorgeous and cute. Is that your true nature? Look like an angel, act like a demon?

If I ever encounter you, perhaps I might hesitate just the slightest moment. Wondering if I should really murder something like you.

Then I'll make sure not a single revive-able shred of you remains.

Dear Sariel,

When going through some writings on recent events in the former Thorne, now Caelia Barony, I found your name listed as one of the people that aided Sootspire in getting rid of a goblin problem.

Although I believe I briefly noticed your presence at Lord Light's meeting, we weren't capable of getting further acquainted.

As the new Baroness, I'd like to formally thank you again for having aided the territory. I'd also like to extend you my condolences regarding lord Light. Although I'm not the same as him, I do share some of his ideals. Should you be looking for employment, or a place to say, I'd gladly welcome you to the barony.

Furthermore, I'm hoping to visit Sootspire myself, in the near future. I'm sure people there will recall your aid and welcome you back, should you wish to meet me there.

I've also heard a rumour you might be acquainted to a friend of mine, Pierre Rothel. Should you find him, please tell him to make his way to Stonewall immediately and stop his current behaviour. If he doesn't want to, please bring him to me yourself.

Good Morning!

Salutations Seven! It has been quite a while since we last met up, and honestly, it has been quite lonely without a friend as dear as you by my side. Adverse events had transpired, of which I had much involvement in.

However, this letter is not meant to detail my grieving and lonesome thoughts, as just knowing that you may read this, makes my heart filled with anticipation and joy. I am filled with warmth just writing this!

How have you been? I miss talking to you, quite a lot. Have you met with Finn? Are you doing well? Are you eating healthy and regularly?

These days, I have been dreaming of performing somewhere in Aslan. Perhaps I would go and plan a concert there? If I do, I would be sure to let you know, it would make me exuberant if you came.

Dearly with love, Your Friend,

Hello, Ophenia!

I haven't managed to see Finnegan in a while with how busy I am. I wish I could support you a lot more realizing your circumstances though. Still, thank you for your concern. It incites very pleasant and nostalgic feelings for me. I confess that I'm a bit not used to it, so thank you. I really, really appreciate it.

Additionally, I admire you greatly in your attempts to follow through with your dreams. Still, I believe your talents are best reserved for someplace that shall appreciate it further. There are better lands out there than Aslan. I would, however, still be willing to watch your performance there should it happen.

I'd be very happy to see you again. With what has been going on recently however, I feel that Ryke may be the safest place for us two to meet. Embarrassed as I am to admit it, though, if it's possible, I'd really like to go through with that sleepover if you're still interested in that...

It's...a bit of a strange feeling, if I'm being honest...but I feel a bit warm just from reading this letter.

Thank you for your pleasantries.

Do you recall when we briefly met during that horned rabbit hunt a long time ago? Truth be told, you didn't really stand out to me then, so I was shocked to see how much you'd changed when I saw you again at the round table meeting. You volunteered your services back then, although it was to baron Highgrove. In case he didn't make use of that, would you consider aiding me instead, now that I'm baroness Caelia?

That also reminds me, I never got to properly thank you for helping me find some diviners to confirm my noble heritage in the Magic Duchy. Consider it's rude to ask you for a favour before rewarding the first one, you're free to let me know if there's anything I could thank you with.

I'm not sure how close you were to Michael, but you were closer to him than me. In case my letter doesn't reach him, can you tell him that I'm sorry about how his miracle-work ended up making him an outcast? I'm afraid my sympathies are all I can offer him, even though this is an injustice.

Dear miss Liddell,

Your rabbits might've not entirely behaved themselves, but I'd like to sent you a letter of my appreciation regardless. After all, you, yourself, have been one of the most polite guests I've had to date. Between the regular members being provocative or quick to anger and the guests being troublesome at times, it's great when lady as polite as yourself shows up.

Considering you were so polite and curious, I'd like to invite you to join us again one day. This time, with a proper invitation, rather than one that was randomly found. Besides, I'm interested in those stories you told us you'd have to tell us next time you'd visit. Narine gives her regards as well, although she also told me to ask if she could butcher one of your rabbit companions to see if they'd taste more like bushmeat or more like a docile rabbit.

Don't worry, I've told her it's rude to try butcher the pets of our guests. She will hopefully not follow through with that request, but keep them in your sight just in case.

Either way, I'd love to welcome you again one day,

Hello Nissa,

You've only gotten to meet a little bit of the 'real' near the end of our journey, so it'd feel improper to act like we're acquainted. Even so, you've gotten me curious about something.

Unlike me, you weren't trying to hide your nature all that much. If anything, you were soon putting it on display for everyone to see and deal with. Tell me, how does that feel? Is it liberating?

Perhaps, to you, it'd seem like wasted effort, but I've been attempting to suppress my monster-like tendencies and instincts for a long time. It's painful, dreadful, difficult and outright frustrating, more often than not it's like self-inflicted torture.

It makes me wonder what it must be like to just 'let go' for once. To be free.

Part of me still wishes to find something, a cure, an answer, a solution.

Another part of me wants to give in and just enjoy what I seem to be.
That's the part that's writing you right now.

Tell me, how much further have you gone since we met? How much more did you follow your monstrous nature? Was it liberating? Was it pleasant? Was it joyful?

I also believe you to be acquainted to my loyal knight, Aria Barlowe. I'm not sure how much of these relations you forged still remain, after all the recent events regarding Sol County and Count Light, but I'd still like to thank you for your previous efforts.

I'd also like to ask you if you would be willing to work for me, in particular regarding the Fae. Both as a diplomat and a teacher. Although I have good relations towards The See, there is much I yet wish to learn about its citizens. Learning from one of them personally seems the best way, should you wish to aid me. The new count, Count Sadek, is half-elven. Considering his mixed ancestry, he might be open to finding new ways to work together with The See. With your aid, both the county and my barony within it, might forge precious new alliances.

Please visit my barony and show this letter with my signature to my guards, should you wish to aid me.

Dear mister Peacecraft,

It has come to my attention that you are a fellow priest. Furthermore, I learned you are in the service of Elisiul. It's interesting to learn more about the priests of the deity that once both cursed and blessed me.

As a Syncretist priest myself, I worship any deity striving for good, Elisiul included. Peace, after all, is one of the greatest goods this world can have.

Tell me, as his follower, have you ever seen the fields of golden poppies? Although my memory of the events are unclear, I have once been honoured to witness them.

Still, I know first-hand that peace is extremely difficult to bring to those that do not seek it. To make matters worse, I learned that peace and pacifism can not always coincide. Difficult choices await those that carry their ideals close to heart.

It's why I appreciate anyone willing to dedicate their life to the ideal of peace. Even though we have never met, know that I sincerely and truly wish for your successes to be uncountable and your goals to achieved.

May you honour your name and may the Gods be with you,
