Character Name: Terri Muirin
Nickname(s): Sharky

Rank: Recruit
Sound Grade: E
Squadron: ONE

Age: 18
Gender: Male
Height: 5’4’’
Weight: 140 lbs
Hair Color: Dark Blue
Eye Color: Yellow

Sound Aura Color and Appearance:
Terri’s sound aura manifests as waves on the ocean, at first calm and small, but as he continues playing music they grow bigger and more violent.

Position: Drummer

General Appearance:
Terri sports shoulder-length dark blue hair. He keeps his hair tied up in the back forming something like a bushy ponytail, but even that doesn't stop his bangs from covering half of his face, which he does intentionally. He usually wears cargo pants, a tank top or any short-sleeve shirt, along with his signature leather jacket.
His eyepatch is not just for show it hides his left eye which suffers from mydriasis, essentially dilating his pupil to the extreme making. Despite his short body, he is quite stocky and strong but he is not ripped as some would say as he prefers being compact.

Personality:
Terri might appear like a constantly angry and violent person but that is far from his true self, such behaviour is his defence mechanism acting up so he doesn't pass out due to low blood pressure. But if you take away such behaviour you are left with a hyperactive person with more energy inside him than he can spend in a day.

Having few friends cause of his personality he became very loyal to those who decided to side with him, caring for them to a fault even forsaking his own health if it meant he could help them with something.

Being caring, gentle and a bit childish doesn’t fit his image, but that's his true self, which only a few ever see, and how do you know you're one of the few? It's simple he smiles whenever he sees you, runs up to you and hugs you.
He has fears about many things but he always gathers up his courage and pushes on ignoring the thing he is fearful of, sometimes even deciding to fight what he fears.

Being a heavy case of an overthinker Terri had to find a way to empty his mind sometimes, he found two ways to do that, rollerskating and music, at first he found it hard to do either of those but through the years he grew accustomed to them, making them essentially a part of himself.

Current Story:
Terri knew what he wanted to do since his early years, well kinda the problem was his attitude which was his method to protect his life.
Since his health problem did limit his ways in life, having abnormally low blood pressure made him drowsy and sleepy all the time, but he did find a way around it mainly that angry and violent attitude with being active. That was not his real self, but since the medication doesn't work he does what works best at the moment.
For him, only two options stood before him during his last day of high school.
First is becoming a cop like his father, but he didn’t like that idea Terri’s demeanour wouldn't allow that, what person would approach a scary cop.
The second would be to fulfil his dream of being in a band, he was in a few over the years but the same issue stood before him once again who would accept him the way he behaved wasn't the greatest and to be honest the same could be said about his music skills but his passion.

Well, there was the option to work in that maid/butler cafe but the thought of it send a shiver down his spine, last time he worked there he was forced to wear the maid outfit.
Why, well the boss thought he was a girl and did not take the truth of Tirra being a boy as an answer.
After finishing his lessons he packed up everything into his bag, changed his sneakers into the skates he kept in his bag and went skating to clear his head.
He spent a few hours skating around his neighbourhood before he tripped on a rock or something and fell.
Fealing a bit tired by now he just laid there looking at the sky before removing whatever stopped his skates from rolling, it was a poster for the IWA, he had seen them a few times around town, never really looking to close into them.

So he decided why the hell, not I'm already laying here with the poster in hand so let's read it.
After reading it Tirra jumped back up and skated as was as he could home to tell his parents what his future will hold.
The promise to end the Legion, while still being himself, and doing music, it was like a dream job for him, which he shall earn his position in it.
While entering his home, he simply yelled “I'm going to IWA!” and run upstairs to his room and began beating the drums like never before.
For finally he found a place he could belong to.

Character Name: Clair O'Reilly

Nickname(s): TBT

Rank: Recruit

Sound Grade: C

Squadron: One

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Height: 5'10

Weight: 127lbs

Hair Color: Blonde

Eye Color: Green

Sound Aura Color and Appearance: Clair's Sound aura takes the form of a web made up of chains. These deep blue chains form a web at her feet and ripple along to the beat. When focused on her music and completely in the zone Clair's Aura begins to create a sphere of chains around her as opposed to just her at her feet.

Position: Lead Guitarist

General Appearance: Clair's hair is o-natural, as a result of its unruly nature and Clair's chronic laziness her hairstyle is often left unattended aside from shampooing and personally cut short to accommodate such. Her clothing style is just as simple, short shorts, Bra tops and/or tank tops are her go-to and she never goes anywhere without a hooded jacket to tie it all together. For her lack of effort Clair's skin is incredibly soft as well as her hair. likewise despite a lack of exercise and a particular liking for sweet treats her body shape is deceivingly athletic and slim, sporting curves in all the right places with a lightweight and slender frame to match her long and lean legs.

Personality: Clair is a lazy individual and this attribute perfectly sums her up. Clair's approach to pretty much everything in life is 'cross it when it comes, leave it till it does' with only music managing to operate outside this philosophy of hers. Clair is a cool operator, she approaches everything with an open mind and thinks thoroughly before approaching any task so that she may complete it with as little effort as possible. Caring little for petty squabbles and small talk Clair approaches her social life with a wide berth, only intervening in her social group's conflicts and situations when absolutely necessary or when she's offered no escape. That being said Clair's go-to form of comedy is stark sarcasm and dark humour with a self-deprecating focus. She is a loyal and trusting person who can easily keep a secret but is not the type of friend you'd call should you need help with something more practical or physically focused. With a fear of only spiders Clair is typically calm in all situations but is easily flustered when it comes to topics of romance and the like to the point, she will very quickly either find a way to escape the situation or change the topic. Her only real hate is that of gossip, especially the negative kind.

Current Story: Clair Graduated High-school last year and took a year out to 'decide' on her future. What really happened was she instead lazed around the house for a year with only her music to preoccupy her and the occasional meetup with her friends. With all her friends now employed or in university and with her parents laying down the law at home, Clair decided it was probably easier to at least try something rather than convince her parents to allow her another year to wait. After all so long as she tried what was there to be said? As for why she chose the IWA? Well they were looking for talented musicians, offered great pay and benefits and a top it all would allow her to hone her musical skill with the best of the best. It was a no brainer really, plus if she failed? She still technically stood to gain another year off right!

54ed4d309f14568b3bb688bd19207e05.pngCharacter Name: Anastasia Stepfield
Nickname(s): Anna, Ann, Little Step (By her Parents)
Rank: Recruit
Sound Grade:
Squadron:
Age:
20
Gender:
Height:
6'0"
Weight: 156 lbs
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Greenish-Yellow
Sound Aura Color and Appearance: Anna's surrounded by a smoky haze of grays that is similar to fog. Whenever she plays, this fog is consumed rapidly by her instrument.

Position: Bass Guitar

General Appearance: Anastasia tends to carry at least one travel bag with her whenever she can. Setting aside only when she needs to get physical or can safely store it somewhere. These bags tend to carry the usual travel gear one would expect from a hitchhiker including extra clothes and edibles. Though not a fashion person exactly, Anna does tend to stick to black colors due to their synergy with her Aura. Ties her hair back into a ponytail when practicing, training, etc.

Personality: Anna's a straight-forward type. She doesn't tend to mince-words and respects keeping things out in the open where they can be dealt with. Due to this, she can be fairly oblivious to finer social cues, far more comfortable with steam-rolling through any and every nuanced conversation she even gets close to in order to keep things on the level. Her bluntness tends to come off far harsher than she intends it to, a terrible combination with her indifference towards casual woes.

Anna's been aiming to fight the Legion for a long time, and tends to prioritize that highly. Recognizing her instrument as instrumental to that goal, she's taken to treating it like a battle brother, talking to it during tuning and even sleeping with the thing occasionally.

Though she's been living as a hitchhiker for the better part of two years, she tries to keep her possessions and environment as orderly as possible. Though not exactly neurotic about it, she views messes and inorganization as distracting, and can't help but point it out wherever she is. She will go out of her way to help colleagues keep things organized and clean, maintenance is a trust exercise she's done plenty of times with Price after all.

Its extremely hard for Anna to relax, as she's constantly trying to prepare herself for fighting the Legion. She'll tend to neglect Self-care and push herself beyond her capabilities, often using this as an excuse to prep even harder for her next bout. The only time she tends to really let go is when she's practicing with Price. Getting better at him tends to ease her, and confirms that she still has a purpose after all.

Anna was closer to the war than most people her age, her Father was a decorated official of the EIA who even coordinated some expeditions. For her earliest years of childhood that didn't mean much to her, or her friends at the time. They all just took it as meaning she was slightly better off than others, but that viewpoint changed drastically for Anna once her parents found out about her particular affinity for music. Her father recognized her potential first, he was the one who put the idea of eventually fighting for humanity in Anna's head.

Her mother felt she was too young to even hear about such things, and would go on to try and encourage her daughter to invest in other hobbies or focus on schoolwork. Though Ana would ponder both her parents advice, she found herself leaning more and more towards her Father's ideas for one reason and one reason only: He told the truth. Her mother hadn't known at the time, but Mr. Stepfield was nothing less than absolutely blunt with Anna when it came to his work. The people he worked to protect, the lives he put on the line, the sheer unyielding destruction the Legion were capable of.

There was no mincing words, no sugarcoating it, from a young age Anna could feel the weight of her own potential settling onto her shoulders. The sense of duty and responsibility began seeping into more and more of her routine, making it hard for her to care for the everyday happenings of her peers. She began to try isolating herself from others so she could focus on schoolwork, but many of those topics seemed to fade from relevance whenever her thoughts came back to the war.

A vicious cycle began wherein her family's name would draw potential friends to her, only for her increasingly uninterested persona to drive many of them away. Anna didn't fault them for it, but there was too much at stake for her to change.

Her mother noticed these changes, but mistook them for some kind of rebel phase. When she found out what her husband had been telling their daughter, she grew disgusted and divorced him. She pleaded with Anna to leave with her, but Anastasia knew better than to run from responsibility. Though her father accepted the divorce, his wife's scathing final remarks did manage to instill doubt in him.

By that point it was too late, Anna let relations wither and rot, distanced herself from any education that wouldn't aid her in fighting the Legion, practiced with her Instrument more and more as the time when she'd be legible for the Audition drew near.

But then her Father insisted on postponing, telling her to experience more first. Anna initially opposed any form of hesitation, but her father wanted her to be sure of her decision. He implored she explore first, see what little of the world she could and see all the opportunities before her. Only when he implied that it would make her a more well-rounded soldier did she agree.

Dropping out of school, Anna spent several years venturing around numerous parts of the super dome. When she returned to her father, she gave him her answer...

...erasing any traces of doubt from his mind.

Character Name: Nathan Carpenter

Nickname(s): Nate -

Rank: Recruit

Sound Grade: TBD
Squadron: One - 'Name Pending'
Age: 20
Gender: Male
Height: 5'7''
Weight: 132lbs
Hair Color: Plain Black
Eye Color: Gray

Sound Aura Color and Appearance:

Nathan has a fire deep inside. A flame that rises up from beneath his skin and reaches up to the sky. Snapping wildly, throwing out embers and sparks as it moves and sways with the howling wind-- howling at the sky along with the fire pit, on choir with this deep hiss as it burns brighter, stronger the more Nathan gets into the flow of things.

Position: Singer (Mixed)

General Appearance: Wiry and nerdy, even without the prescriptions, you can tell he's a band kid from afar. Nathan has this perpetual frown and gloomy, extremely worried glare, like he were on this constant fight-or-flight, on his death march. And he is. He walks fast, keeps the hands a little too close, never takes his eyes too far off the ground, and there is an ever-so looming chance of there being a gigantic stain on his back as his clothes drench in his own nervous sweat. His hair is down to the chin and is awfully well kept, lustrous and straight. Anything black, white or greyish is a go to for him on mondays through fridays; weekends are for lazy yet formal enough khakis and stripped button-ups. He's made it a rule of thumb to never wear a sweater or a jacket, out of fear of dying dehidrated once the heat and his own social awkwardness kick in, into this storm of sweat.

Though he doesn't want to admit it, he still wears his high-school's uniform to sleep. Slowly shaking off the habit. In his own way.

Personality: Nathan thinks of himself an uninteresting, boring person. And that would only be a half-truth, as he is, blatantly, devoid of any interest. As in, any profitable interests-- math, physics, biology, psychology; nothing at all. Drawn to the wrong things, according to everyone he's met. He's more of the high on a compulsion, stuck on his idle fancies kind of guy. Thus, if yours was a morbid interest-- the type to stop you dead on your tracks, just to have you watch ants run up their ant hill-- then Nathan would make up for only a half-interesting person.

That other half of him is too scared to go all the way. See things through. Too hard to see it through, if we're talking his perspective.

He has this stagnant, no-can-do attitude that always renders him catatonic in most social interactions, which just so happen to be the very bane of his existence. He never understood people beyond the superficial, and he never wanted to anyways. That side of them, beyond the plain-simple homeliness of brain dead greetings, put up formalities, and all those things he acts out absent-mindedly with the neighbors; therein may be a monster too ugly to maintain eye contact with, too nasty to sympathize with. So he avoids it at all costs. With a catch at his throat, and biting down his tongue for good measure, he looks down. Sweats up a storm. Relapses into this non-being where everything cuts off, he shuts down and lets things happen, too strained and worried to pay attention. He gives up on people.

One thing to note, the only real way of recognizing the moment he's tapped into this loss of the senses, is by that hard stutter in his voice. A brutally long silence, analysis, realization, and then he goes beet red.

Current Story:
Once his high-school days wound down to an end, with a very anticlimactic bang, young Carpenter was met with two options: 1) Skip college entirely and work at a convenience store, eating once or twice a day because the minimum wage can't pay the rent in one go. Student loans are a thing too, apparently. Or 2) Go for a major in engineering, not on your own terms, fully knowing you still count with your fingers, drop out and fall into option 1 anyways.

Nate picked the secret, elusive third option: spend his imaginary sabbatical at his mom's house, see where the wind blows. Since then it has been about a year or two, the wind was dead still this month too. And he dreaded that very thought. The convenience store lurked around the corner, like the greedy, sinous, bastard hands of death snaking around his neck-- whispering romantically into his ear: "You will work a 9/5..." And lately that cold whisper blowing at the back of the neck had gotten a little too real, a little too palpable.

That is when, roaming aimlessly around the local park, on his way back home from the bakery, he noted this one poster pinned on a tree. It was like those shamelessly dated stories his old, old, great gramps would spew in his delusions-- 'Back in the old world, before the fall of humanity, we killed each other over menial things, in the most horrific ways possible,' Senile old man would claim proudly. Of course, different wording, extremely paraphrased in his mind, but still, the message remained. War was never too profitable, never too rational. Just a big, loud and proud circle-jerk of powerful people winding up their toys and watching them spin in circles. This time, it was the very same premise... but damn was it profitable.

For him at least.

They were offering a hefty sum of those fancies and commodities he so dearly loved, the money was there too.

Music and robots, guts and glory. Who wouldn't want a part of it? The only real dilemma was the music part. He was no artist, he didn't have that gene in him. But what he did have was dedication. Obssesive, compulsive dedication to useless things. That and his burning memories from being that one star kid in band class, with the articulate, passionate voice for singing his heart out.

Needless to say, back then he sang like a clockwork mechanism when he was told to, on pitch perfect sync and matching energy just to get the class over with; but he sang with all of his heart, goddamnit!

Perhaps if he stayed in the back and allowed that nerdy band kid to come out, then maybe he would stop looking at the convenience store with dread in his eyes.

Thus, our hero sets sail.

Character Name: Lucy Loman
Nickname(s): Luc (pronounced like "loose"), LuLo
Rank: Recruit
Sound Grade: D
Squadron: One
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Height: 5'2"
Weight: 107 lbs
Hair Color: Grey
Eye Color: Light Purple
Sound Aura Color and Appearance: Lucy's aura takes the form of luminous silver threads that weave, ripple, swirl and dance to the music.
Position: Violinist

General Appearance: Lucy is a petite young woman with the slim, lithe body of a dancer, and favors a casual style of dressing when off duty, usually wearing various band t-shirts with a black hoodie, black ripped jeans, and black high-top sneakers. Multiple piercings are visible on each ear, including an industrial piercing and a helix piercing on her right ear and three helix piercings on her left, creating a deliberate asymmetry, which almost always sport shiny black jewelry. She also tends to wear chunky black rings on her hands and multiple wristbands. Her hair is almost always swept up in a messy ponytail.

Personality: No longer feeling the need to prove herself so strongly, Lucy has developed a more mellow, laid-back demeanor in contrast to her earlier years, although she still holds herself to a high standard and takes her job seriously. Social and interested in others, but seldom intrusive, she adapts well to group settings and will try keep the conversation flowing and make sure no one is left out. Often, she winds up filling the role of "mom friend" because she can't resist stepping in whenever she sees a problem. Though she values harmony and cohesion, if her values are ever crossed, or if she witnesses an injustice, she is capable of being very aggressive, surprising those who haven't seen this side of her. In quiet moments, a melancholy, reflective mood comes over her, and she will sometimes become lost in her abstract musings. Overall, she carries herself with an understated maturity, and has been said to be wiser than her years. Under her collected exterior, though, she tends to value herself according to her usefulness to others, wrestles with relentless self-doubt, and struggles to know what she wants for her own life.

As the daughter of a music teacher and a once-prominent concert violinist, music has always been a part of Lucy's life. That's just what the Lomans did. From her first piano lessons in elementary school to marching band, show choir, and musicals during her high school years, and even ballet and tap dancing classes throughout her childhood, if it involves music, she's probably done it at some point. However, her number one goal was always to follow in her father's footsteps, so her central pursuit was the violin.

Friendly and hardworking, Lucy attacked both the academic and social aspects of high school with gusto, and was rewarded with both popularity and a place on the honor roll. She was the sort who knew everyone and got along with everyone. After graduating with top grades, she entered her father's alma mater, one of the finest musical conservatories in the area. Though she progressed well at first, by her sophomore year it was becoming increasingly clear both to her and to her teachers that she was missing something in comparison to her peers. Over and over, she received the same feedback. Her technique was excellent, but her style was robotic, methodical. It lacked passion, a certain connection with the music.

Even faced with this obstacle, she was determined to forge ahead. After all, she was the daughter of Leonard Loman. How could she do less? But what did it mean to play with "passion"? What did it take to master something intangible? When sheer effort alone didn't provide answers, she simply dug in harder. Competing with her classmates, practicing every spare moment and long into the night, sometimes pulling all nighters, she took to living on caffeine and, as her health took a hit and colds became frequent, vitamin C supplements. As stress and sleep deprivation took their toll, she became uncharacteristically withdrawn and irritable, and her performance suffered, driving her to further extremes. She was spiraling. By the time her third year rolled around, it was clear she'd reached her breaking point.

At the end of the first semester, her violin teacher called her into his office and told her, gently, that it wasn't too late to consider a different career path. Lucy was devastated by what she perceived as a lack of faith in her talent, an apparent confirmation of her own worst fears. When she argued that she would make it work somehow, the professor strongly urged her to at least take some time off to "figure herself out". That was almost a worse insult. Stupid people who didn't plan took gap years to "figure themselves out", not responsible honor students! She hated the idea. It felt like admitting defeat. Still, she couldn't deny that she was burnt out and desperately needed some breathing room to get herself together.

So, she went home at the end of the semester, and didn't come back. Although they seemed outwardly supportive, she could sense the unspoken confusion, concern, and judgement from her parents, especially since her younger brother had entered the conservatory that year and was thoroughly excelling. Completely exhausted, when she arrived home, all she wanted to do was sleep. For the first time since she was three years old, she let a day pass without touching her violin. Then another day passed, and another. Days turned into weeks, weeks into months.

In the deafening silence that filled the time between her half-hearted job searches, as she went for long walks or simply lay in her room staring at the ceiling, she was forced to confront the fact that she had lost all passion for music... if she'd ever had any in the first place. Right now, she didn't even want to hear music, let alone play. Just like that, she realized all her hard work for the past seventeen years had been for nothing. She wasn't who she thought she was. She wasn't talented. She didn't take after her father. Now, she would have to pick another career path and start over from scratch. But she had absolutely no idea what she wanted to do. After so much time was wasted, it seemed nothing could possibly fill the vacuum left in the wake of her lifelong ambition. Unable to find passion for anything, she whiled her days away, sinking deeper and deeper into depression and apathy.

One day, three months after dropping of college, she happened to walk past a hole-in-the-wall music store with a secondhand electric violin displayed in the window. Out of curiosity, she tried it, liked it, and bought it. It was the first impulse purchase of her life. While she was there, she also picked up a flyer for the IWA. She took the violin home, tuned it up a bit, and, while learning to play it properly, began to explore genres of music she'd previously ignored, and quickly fell down the rabbit hole of alternative music. At the same time, she met some local independent musicians at the store where she'd bought her violin, who helped expand her taste in music further and even invited her to collaborate with them and participate in some small gigs. It was far from professional work, but it was fun. For the first time, she experienced the joy of experimenting and fooling around, of making noise just for the hell of it. For the first time, she knew what it meant to put heart into her music.

She'd finally found her passion. Problem was, as a broke independent artist still trying to find her own sound, she still needed a day job. That's when she remembered the IWA flyer, and made the second impulsive decision of her life. Ultimately, she didn't quite know herself what she was thinking. For all the pay and benefits, it was still an insanely dangerous job that could get her killed. Maybe the rebellious phase she'd skipped during her teens was catching up with her now. Certainly, her parents were... ambivalent. Maybe she liked that guts mattered more than skill in this line of work. Maybe she liked the idea that, even without genius-level talent, she could still do something meaningful with music. Playing her heart out and saving the world at the same time? Really, it wasn't such a bad deal.

In fact, she couldn't help but feel that she'd found her calling. Perhaps the gnawing sense of inadequacy that had fueled her perfectionism had been leading her to this very moment all along. She wouldn't know until she tried, right?

Sound Power

Instrument
Instrument Name: Fatespinner
Type: Electric Violin
Energy: When Lucy channels her aura through her instrument, silver threads form where the bow meets the strings and spread out in every direction, growing longer the more she plays.
Power: Once enough strings are produced, they can be controlled in unison to weave and constrict around enemies, snaking into any opening and dealing continuous damage as the vibrations from her playing travel along them. After three turns, the threads forcefully detach themselves from their targets, slashing at their internal components as they do so and dealing an extra burst of damage before dissipating. This effect is amplified when multiple targets are connected by the threads.

Basic Information
Character Name: Evalynn Rakhila Madore
Nickname(s): Eve
Rank: Recruit
Sound Grade:
Squadron:
Age:
20 Years Old
Gender: Female
Height:
5'6"
Weight: 137 lbs
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Hazel
Sound Aura Color and Appearance: Her aura is a shimmering silver consisting of threads of sound that sew themselves along the white patterns in her clothes. These threads resonate with her desires/thoughts as she plays her instrument.

Position: Lead Accordionist

General Appearance: Evalynn is more physically fit than people give her credit for, though most of her muscle is focused on her shoulders, abs, and legs. The traditional garments handed down from her family hides most of this, known in her home town to help one focus due to herbs infused into the fabric. On her arms and hands are faint scars from raising her pet wolf from a pup to an adult wolf, her loyal companion that's earned the sole right to live forevermore in the picture framed within her necklace's locket.

Personality: Evalynn is known for being very patient and understanding to everyone she meets, and is inherently kind to a fault. Despite her naivety as of the true motives of the world, her optimistic outlook helps her keep her nose on the grindstone and withstand stress and pressure many find unbearable. She's not known to talk about her feelings, choosing to express herself through other means she keeps hidden from others.

Current Story:
-Evalynn was born out of wedlock between her Russian father and her Canadian mother, both of whom had been living together as roommates in Montréal for years before her conception. Though the city was where she was born, she moved out into the country side with her parents shortly after her birth due to concerns over growing inter-city turmoil. While her mother was considered part of the common people, her father was a member of a rich family who was ignored and avoided by fellow family members; having moved away in pursuit of a better life elsewhere using what little funds he was entitled to. Despite their struggles living mediocre lives at best, she found her life with her parents enjoyable. She grew particularly interested in hunting with her mother and studying under her father about being a diplomatic envoy.

-When she was a month away from turning 10 years old, she came across a wounded wolf pup crying out in pain; its body pinned by a rock too heavy for the small animal to move. Having just finished hunting with her mom, she in turn cried out for help as she ran over to the rock. Despite her best attempts, the rock barely budged to her efforts. As her mom came to see what the commotion was about the howls of a pack echoed in the distance, the pup seeming to grow more anxious. Evalynn pleaded to her mom to help the pup, tearing up in desperation as the howls seem to grow closer. Without hesitation her mom ran down to help move the rock as well. Inch by inch their combined efforts moved the rock off of the pup, and as it crawled out from underneath they both let go of the rock; her mom picking her up and carrying her away from the pup into the brush. From there they watched, the pack of wolves running up to the freed pup. After a bit of looking around and sniffing the pack seemed to grow agitated, running away and leaving the injured pup behind. Evalynn came out of the brush shortly after as the pup tried chasing after the pack, only to slide back down the slope as it flinched from the injury. Now her faithful companion, the wolf pup was taken into the care of her family as one of their own; helping out during hunts and keeping guard for the family during the night.

-As Evalynn turned 13 years old, she was woken up by her parents quickly opening the door and shaking her awake, as machines could be heard outside if their cottage marching through the soft layers of snow. Her pet wolf sensed the danger as well and silently watched the bedroom doorway as she and her parents stuffed themselves into her closet. By the time they were snug behind the sliding wooden doors her companion jumped onto her bed and laid down, with the machines making their way inside and entering her room. As one of the machines approached the closet the rumbling stomps of a mech drew their attention away from searching the closet, with the machines quickly vacating the cottage in pursuit of a bigger threat. That was the catalyst that inspired her to become a mech pilot, dedicating part of her free time to learn how to play the accordion.
