Dice Into the Ruins - Exalted 3e OOC

Basically, how many people know and what the overall heat level is.
This is all way over my head so I do not mind at all deferring to the rest of you guys in this. My character will likely to feel the same way given that he is a young Lunar with his particular background.

But yeah, is combat over? Psychie Psychie

EDIT: If two of you have posted in-game, I guess it is! =)

Would a heavy (we could probably say almost Superior) knowledge of occult give one familiarity with the nature of other exalted? Mercy has never met a Lunar before, and I am determining if she could recognize him as such. With her supernatural vision (still in place for the scene), she can tell he is not a god, demon, or elemental.

If Mercy can produce some fresh fish, chicken, or other feline-friendly nommies, O Mighty Fat Cat might tell her himself! Ha ha!

I am tempted to have Mercy use her Burning Name ability to create a red dot and see if Fat Cat chases it around.... 🤣

To make it official, yes this short fight is over. The handful of mortals are thoroughly cowed by the sight of multiple Exalts all taking out their fearless leader and neutralizing a pair of demons without breaking a sweat. They stand no chance against you and they know it.

I will give you high odds of knowing that the giant cat is most likely a Lunar. Give me an Int + Occult roll.

I'm tempted to post again, but I don't wish to flood the IC thread with my own replies while we are waiting for the rest of the party to jump in.

You hear the pained words from the bleeding man in the dirt at the feet of the one-armed Solar, and you know that he speaks the truth. You yourself have seen at least thirty, maybe forty horsemen, riding under the banner of the Realm, coming hard. From the sight of things, there are at least eight, possibly ten, Dragon Blooded leading the charge. They are perhaps a half an hour behind you, or even less than that. The others in the group look to you to be mortal monks trained in the Immaculate Order's fighting arts, so they will not be a bunch of simple sell-swords, but well-trained fighters used to facing off against Exalts before. Even with your great strength and the numbers of Solars here, this is most likely a fight that you cannot win.
Whoa! Talk about good to know!

Yeah, with the fact that those Dragon Blooded are going to be at least Essence 2 or 3, we'd best be on the move soon or we'll have our asses handed to us.

Heya folks and friends!

It feels a little odd to for Fat Cat to be hearing this while he is (currently) interacting with Mercy.

Since Amara and Kerwin are having a conversation, and since Fat Cat is approaching Amara with his offer of clothing for her, I will wait until Sherwood replies as Amara, and however that goes, I will have Fat Cat then hear the above information from Kerwin and then act accordingly (if that's all right?).

That is fine with me. I posted that with the thought that neither Amara nor Kerwin seem to be attempting to make any effort to conceal the conversation with one another, so it is possible for others to have heard the exchange.

If I were to post for Amara now, she'd probably react to Kerwin's taunting with a finishing strike to his head, especially now that she knows his true feelings for the Celestial Exalted. I want to let Rykon Rykon , jaydude jaydude and Chowlett Chowlett post before she goes totally mid-evil on his sorry butt.

I will add a post regarding her reaction to Fat Cat giving her some clothing and to Mercy's comment, but that will be all until the others have a chance to get into the chat, too.

Regarding Kerwin, I really want to know what the story is behind his motives. What in the world was he thinking throwing Solars into a wagon together and not even binding their hands or feet? No gags? No manacles?

Maybe Kerwin grossly overestimated his poisons or he is over confident or something! But what?

He seems to be pretty hostile and going with the whole 'Solars are Anathema' thing. It might be as simple as that. But I am in total agreement with you, Dann. I want to know what he was thinking and why he did it.

Working on my post, but I just want to confirm something. Did Kerwin willingly and knowingly help us escape the Wyld Hunt in Nexus? Or did we just blend in among his workers, and he only found out about us later on?

Psychie Psychie I have a post almost up and written, but I need some ST guidance on. I'm using my local Lore to declare that I know somewhere to hide nearby. I've rolled 5 successes. Is there anywhere that you would like me know about, for plot reasons? Failing that, how much can I declare on a 5? I'd hope for at least a very well-hidden cave or hollow, hard-to-find and/or obscurable and/or defensible. On 5 successes, I wonder if I might get a good bit more - like, do I know of a hidden Demesne or similar that will shield us with its own internal "magic"?

On a related note, I figured I might as well run with an improv relating to Kerwin’s actions based on what’s been established so far. If I go too far you can always drop a bonk on the head, and I’ll clean up my mess. I can also make a roll to introduce this little story as a fact if you’d prefer.

To be clear, the post is up and I have an edit nearly ready to go.

You know of a secluded spot that just might fit the bill to hide out for a time. It is still many hours of travel from your current location, and it is in some very tricky countryside, but if you can get there before the Hunt, you should be fine. It is an old manse that is well hidden from prying eyes.
