Been trying to work out if it's worth using my Belt of Shadow Walking; it turns out it isn't, because I'd forgotten what it does - I thought it let me jump from shadow to shadow, but it actually turns me into a dematerialised shadow, which isn't helpful in this case.

But apparently I should have been having a flat +3 dice to all stealth checks. So, uh, you didn't see me even more.

Sorry, sorry. Too many irons, not enough fire (or something like that).

I know everyone's lives are busy, and I only have myself to blame, but in addition to my actual day job and family life I'm also trying to juggle:

* DM'ing a D&D campaign for my family
* DM'ing a D&D campaign for my work colleagues
* Practising my archery (and supporting my daughter's archery, since she's a national-level athlete)
* Coding up a boardgame in a new-to-me web framework
* Rehearsing to play Sweeney Todd in a month and a half

My brain is so fractured!

That’s a lot of things going on all at once. Just make sure you keep healthy in the middle of all that.

A quick question for the party at large. Are we going to try and take the Abyssal alive, or are we set on killing her? I don’t want to just jump to lethal measures if we can do without that.

My stance on this group of Abyssals hasn't changed. I don't see a compelling reason for my character to pursue mercy at this stage yet.

She's a complete stranger to Da Chonk - he's willing to listen to Aredin, Grey Stone, and Silent Glade (those he feels are his Circle) and go with their votes. Consider him abstaining (because he doesn't know a thing about what's going on really, but if his Circle thinks it's a threat, then bye-bye!).

In the meantime, O Mighty Fat Cat will be content to just sit and heal off those 7 Lethal levels of damage! Yowich!
