He dolled out soup for the rest of the mothers and pups that were capable of eating regular food and no longer needed their mothers' milk before dolling out a bowl of soup and handing it to Gracie, then giving another to Morwenna and going down from there in terms of ranking.

" ok we need to see how much money we have so that we can head in to the city and buy an appartment coplex to house every one then from there we can rebuild the pack territory and the pack housing after that we can morn the dead propperly " she said

Clay nodded though it didn't make much of a difference if he was thanked or not. He was a simple omega. He fed the few omegas, including himself, when the other members were able to get their own food...likely the first meal the omegas would get for some time. He scraped up what was left in the pot into a bowl and began eating as Gracie began speaking of various plans. "You're in charge," he said. "You're the leader, you don't need anyone's opinion or advice but for Morwenna's as a delta."

" i am only incharge for the time being until the alpha returns or a new one is appointed, but right now we need sheltor and food, we all that to work hard to survive this" she said as she began to colect the empty bowls and took them to the river to be cleaned before returning to gather up more once there more of the pack had finished, they will also be needed to get rest for the long travel ahead of them

"Be that as it may, there is no guarantee the alpha will return or even their heir," said Clay. "Perhaps your parents are alive and can resume the beta position, in which case they would likely be new alpha if the alpha or his heir doesn't return. I imagine you might get booted up to alpha heir in that case, depending on what your parents decided but it's hard to say of the future."

Morwenna said nothing as she listened to the conversation between the omega and lead warrior. "Perhaps Cain, Clay and I can go hunting when they are both rested up and try to find some food and gather what fruits and nuts survived the fire. Cain is a Hunter/Gatherer and it is is Clay's minor rank after all."

"Indeed," said Clay. "Rue likely needs to stay here with the other mothers and take care of her and Cain's pups. Eve seems to be unconscious from Azure bringing her here," he gestured behind him towards the tent where the Den Guard had been lain, "but she will need to be here to guard the mothers and pups. You may be able to take Azure as he's the lead guard of the pack after all and some non-injured omegas."
