Symbolic Animal of Gallifrey
"Surely what it REALLY needs is one those mini disco balls instead of the pom-pom" Chas commented. "Or a fibre optic pom-pom and glitter, just to go full rave party on the hat." Jay smirked, using her free hand to take a photo of Elliott in the hat. Once he realised he was having his photo he got off the couch to give Jay a better angle and began hamming it up, posing like he was some kind of professional hat model. John, Chas, Rinaa and Jay couldn't refrain from laughing at his antics, the teenager setting aside the bowl temporarily, lest she drop it on the floor by accident. "Personally rave party hat sounds far more exciting to me than road safety hat." She replied once the laughter had died down. As Elliott walked past, John grabbed the hat by the bobble, pulled it off Elliott's head and put it on himself. It didn't look any better on him than it did on Elliott, the bright yellow and his blond hair was an awful combination.
Nat was nearly finished with Rhys by now and was just working his way through the final dirty patch on his legs. The difference the grooming had made was clear just by looking at the dogs, their coats were shiny and healthy looking and in the case of Meyer she actually looked like a dog as opposed to a pile of fur that had run backwards through a compost heap, a garden centre and a beach. "That's good to hear, you clearly really care about this dog, and since he's a stray he'd need it more than any other dog. It really disgusts me that people abandon any kind of animal, living here all my life has really taught me that every animal deserves love, whether they're useful in the context of the planet, like these three are, or not."
