Somewhat cocky, somewhat quirky, Tau is definitely mysterious, and probably would take pride in being described as such. While she’ll often deflect personal questions, she seems extraordinarily well-educated, knowing random facts about high-level theorems in realms ranging from quantum physics to human sociology. Her speciality is with computers, however, being fluent in several types of programming code, and with her interests, it’s possible that she has some experience as a hacker. Despite her sometimes aloof persona, she cares deeply for other people, even if her motive might not be actual human kindness. Other than that she seems relaxed most of the time, and is able to keep a collected head and positive attitude even in high-pressure situations. She is able to take her guard down most when she’s around Rule, whom she calls “Alphy” (in reference to A, “Alpha”), due to the buns on her head. She gives nicknames to things she likes.

While she can play the violin and is a wizkid with technology, her true hobby is food. She met Rule a short while ago through her work, and decided that she liked her. They probably hung out around dumpsters together. In the end, once there was no hope for the world and they saw some kid yelling at people to hop aboard his ship, they escaped together. She doesn't steal things from others, and won't take anything if it belongs to someone else, but if it (looks like it) is laying around without an owner, then finders keepers. However, if you have an item that looks particularly interesting, she might try to swindle you into giving it to her. Whenever she gets back to her room, she dumps all her crap out. She tries to sort them by characteristic, but she forgets what piles are for what and her room is a complete mess. Has a history of dumpster diving for garbage "cool stuff."

  Her parents are sort of well-to do, being high-up lackeys board members of a rather stable company. Her older brother, William, is rather concerned with how he and his family are viewed, and is generally the one to tell her off about her... less than respectable hobbies. He was largely responsible for her growing up, and as much as he nags (and she doesn't listen), they have a stable sibling relationship.
  
  
  
  One night, as her parents were at a board meeting, Rule had been traipsing about the offices, making copies of her butt and rubbing her grubby little paws all over the ink cartridges, she met Tau, who was currently attempting to send out overshares to the stockholders of the corporation. She was bribed into not telling by giving her half a reuben sandwich, which was gladly accepted.
  
  
  On the Last Day, as the family was being evaucated, Rule was nowhere to be found, and, as a result, William went to go look for her alone. He brought her to the Last Dawn, and stowed her away without enough time for him to join her. His whereabouts and status are unknown.

  Personality: Lieutenant Commander Arden Waldas has proven time and time again to be a compassionate and caring person. Averting violence when possible, it is a wonder he signed up to begin with. Further he has surprised us with a surprisingly 'father-like' attitude despite the lack of his own. Always ready to help others, it's hard to find a person as selfless as Lt. Commander Waldas. He is not without faults however, he is troubled by the past and can sometimes fall into deep sessions of depression and isolation where maintenance and busy work seem to be the only thing to keep him going. These are thankfully short-lived and far between however which allowed him continued service.

  RDX-3 Flight Suit/Armor

  Head: RDX Model 3 Helmet- As with all his gear, the helmet is quite outdated but still serves reliably for what it is. The RDX 3 has full environmental sealing capabilities, allowing Arden to survive vacuums, toxins in the air, and if combined with the full suit, even minor levels of radiation. This all requires disposable filters however, no rebreather technology is installed therefore he is limited on his 'environmental invulnerability'. Along with sealing abilities, the RDX 3 uses a solar battery to power the helmet's visor which can cycle through three different modes; Thermal, Ultra-violet, Standard. It can withstand significant punishment for it's age, having been stress tested, the helmet bears few scratches and dents.
  
  
  Torso: RDX Model 3 Breastplate- The Breastplate of RDX 3 is an ablative armor as light as kevlar, as strong as steel. It serves excellent defense against high velocity projectiles and heat based weapons but serves little to no protection from low velocity melee (such as a combat knife). The Breastplate comes complete with RDX 3 pauldrons of the same characteristics and the enviro-suit that is a full body suit required to be worn with the armor in order to gain the environmental invulnerability.
  
  
  Arms: RDX Model 3 Utility Gauntlets- Of same characteristics as the RDX Breastplate, the Utility Gauntlets are modified by Arden to allow him to process ad catalogue biological discoveries quickly and easily by scanning an isolated subject for several seconds (must be done in a lab or sterile environment). The Gauntlet also comes with a holographic map that uses vibrations to 'paint' a transparent blue outline of the surrounding areas he walks in. The map can be brought up from the gauntlet and closed just as easily with the press of a few buttons. This allows a bit more surveying without the risk of being lost, it does however make him quite noticeable while using it.
  
  
  Legs: RDX Model 3 Greaves- Simple plates on the crotch, thigh, and shins guard his legs. Of same characteristics but a bit more padded to protect him from 'cheap shots'. The sole of the boots vibrates gently with each step, allowing Arden to comfortably walk for miles as well as generating a clearer picture for his map tool.

  MT001- Solaris- A small single shot direct Energy Weapon, the MT001 Solaris is has a solar powered battery that is capable of firing a powerful ionized charge once every hour or so. The weapon is given to Pilots as a last resort as Spaceship pilots often don't survive their crashes. While it may for all intents and purposes have 'unlimited ammo' it can only be fired once every hour, making it's use saved for true emergencies.<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_10/Pistol.jpg.ee7b7b4112e91bd76bf7b685676b30a1.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="80659" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_10/Pistol.jpg.ee7b7b4112e91bd76bf7b685676b30a1.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>
  
  
  Scrapyard Sword- NO IMAGE AVAILABLE; AQUIRED AFTER CRASH. Essentially a length of sharp shrapnel metal that was wrapped up with a length of fabric to create a hilt for the blade. It serves as a useful machete and a decent last resort weapon.
  
  Purification Tablets- Tablets to be dropped into approx. 20 oz of water to purify for consumption.

  Arden's personal history is largely unremarkable, coming from an upstanding family even with the decaying state of Earth Arden never had it too rough. He signed up at the age of 18 and served loyally his entire time. However, while his service was loyal, it was not always cooperative. He consistently argued the ethics of running bombing runs on rioting cities and frowned upon the liberal use of deadly force on rebels. It took a lot of time to convince him to commit to the runs but he was often reprimanded for intentionally missing targets. His failure to act without question is one reason that after almost 20 years of loyal service, he is only a Lieutenant Commander. One incident in particular the Lieutenant Commander refused his run, purposefully missed his targets as before, but later that day those targets committed a massacre at a nearby refugee settlement. When brought in for questioning, the Commander was threatened with a dishonorable dismissal of service, when asked why he joined to begin with he only answered;
  
  
  "Somethings are bigger than you and me, sir. Sometimes we have to be willing to sacrifice everything, to save something."
  
  
  From then on, the Commander often was committed to his runs without question but it taxed on his psyche. He was chosen for the ship to lead any sort of scouting detail that may have been organized though he was lost among the chaos as people scrambled for the ships. The Commander had an Ex-Wife who's location is unknown and a 17 year old daughter, also unknown.

  Neha was born in the area that used to be called India, and then moved to a "lush," beautiful city in the former Middle East where she grew up. In the ever changing environment as the Earth limped towards its end, Neha discovered her love for maps—both making and reading them. She had plenty of opportunity to practice her skills. She has an older sister, Misri, whom she idolized and adored growing up. The two of them often went on adventures together, right up until the Last Day.
  
  
  Though her family wasn't extremely wealthy, they did manage to secure passage on ships leaving the Earth as crew. Neha got a job aboard the Elite, a state-of-the-art spaceship commissioned to ferry extremely wealthy passengers to their new destination. Misri attempted to get a job on the same vessel, but couldn't and was forced to find a position on a different ship. Aboard the Elite, things took an unexpected turn. First, Neha found herself in the unwanted position of the ship's unofficial courtesan for its passengers, and second, people began falling victim to an unidentified illness.
  
  
  By the time the Elite landed on Pandorica, only three remained. Shortly after landing, Neha stole some of the remaining supplies and disappeared aboard the ship's small scouting vessel. Where could she have gone?

  Myriad is the most incredibly developed AI in the history of Human creation. It may seem like quite the feat to boast, however it has been well deserved. Myriad was invented by Russian Programmer Veronika Polyakova just before the last days in 2905. She released it into her super-computer, though soon found that the AI was far too advanced to limit it to such a machine. She soon began giving it the ability to transfer itself through different machinery. She created her own universal code that every other human software language could translate into. This allows Myriad to understand and adapt to all pieces of software its presented to.
  
  
  Myriad became a person, rather than just a machine. It began to develop signs of emotion and empathy, causing it to become much more human than machine in nature. This is also a reason it didn't go the whole, 'Dominate everything' route. It took on a variation of Veronika's voice, since Veronika had described herself as Myriad's mother. This could only lead to the assumption that Myriad defines itself within the female gender, though since it is a machine, it wouldn't mind being called 'it'.
  
  
  This is another thing that sets Myriad apart from other AI. It recognizes its difference from humanity, though doesn't choose to act in a superior way to humanity. It chooses to try to adapt and integrate into human society as seamlessly as possible, despite having only android bodies.
  
  
  So, the story of why Myriad was inside The Last Dawn. Myriad enitially set out away from her 'Home' computer within Veronika's home in a very basic Drone. It then soared toward Japan, sensing and detecting a place where it could flourish. This is where she found FOX-15. The Android was resting on display outside of a Japanese robotics institute. This is where Myriad made its second transfer into FOX-15. Soon, the android smashed out of its glass display and began roaming the streets. Upon the evacuation of Japan starting just days later, Myriad attempted to escape with the humans. She did so successfully, though as soon as the Japanese evacuation plane landed in the Americas, it was instantly stolen by tech-thieves. It was sold around the country without protest, due to the fact most of its owners treated it with wonder and awe. Finally, it was bought by those who used to own The Last Dawn. In the cargo with FOX-15 was also SPRTN and NOMAD.

  Myriad is currently in an extremely advanced, humanoid android titled 'Fox-15'. This particular android was developed for an Android whose sole purpose was to try infiltrate and record. The processing power within this machine is one of which that could be called 'Godly', the creator of said processor being a long-lost Japanese manufacturer (Japan, in the time of the Last Days, would have probably been known for technological supremacy). It has incredible visual systems, it being able to see with further than 20/20 human vision with the thin slits that run down what appears to be its head. It may zoom, target, and scan various organic materials. It allows the machine to make extremely precise assessments and gather excessive amounts of information. The machine's joints are advanced as well, though nothing too god-like. It allows the machine to function with the appearance of a human. The machine can run, jump, etc at the same rate of a human. The plating on her exterior is nothing special and is rigged with a light, rather fragile metal. Though don't be mistaken, it's still stronger than skin.

  The SPRTN model is an extremely durable Android which could be compared to a Rhino. This model is much older than FOX-15, dating back to the German Riots in 2890. It was created to endure barrages of glass, bricks and even bullets. It is equipped with a basic processor, rather clunky joints and movement drives, yet very proficient optic receivers. It is able to deter enemies with ease and without fear of being torn asunder. The metal plating is among some of the toughest and rarest that was found on Earth, making the production of these crowd-controlling droids limited. It is said that the android can withstand temperatures comparable to a volcano, even boasting being able to endure a hydrogen bomb. However, it does not deal with being pulled apart.

  The Nomad is a creation of unknown Origin and Date. All that can be said is that it has the most efficient joints and movement abilities within any machine created by humans. Its metal hands are so well developed that it is hard to tell that the surface is rugged and shaped like most Android's hands. Thousands of gears and motor drives power the advanced limbs within its metal exterior. Its six optical receivers allow for amazing perception of the world around it. However, with this amazingly strong and well developed machinery on the interior, the exterior is extremely easy to penetrate. Its durability is similar to skin, though it is still metal that encases the genius within.

However, the time to transfer varies based on complexity and security of the device it's connecting to, along with the size. You could consider Myriad a Virus of sorts, as she will attempt to make connections to any piece of equipment if she deems it necessary. It should be noted that Myriad is not always a malicious virus. If it recognizes another AI (Such as Luna) it would be unlikely for it to try to force Luna into an idle state and take control of Joshua's ship. If it does attack another AI, it will not delete or erase it from the system she integrates herself into. It will put it into a previously mentioned Idle state, though a stronger AI may be able to fight it and reclaim control. This would effectively kill or exterminate Myriad. If Myriad is interrupted during the process of transferring itself to another piece of tech it could severely damage it.
