Nahh, I get that Tommy's mad, but to punch Charlotte? What happened to him to make him so aggressive?

Tommy's just a hot head and quick to get physical. Also, Charlotte just asked him to shoot her, and for all he knows in that moment it's a loaded gun. It's better that he didn't actually attempt to shoot her.

To answer your question, she called him names, dismissed him, and basically talked down to him like he was an idiot. That does not mix well with Tommy's personality. And she was challenging him in front of the entire class. He doesn't want to look weak, but he's not gonna just shoot someone in the head, so a punch to the gut was the better alternative to not look like a weakling in front of the class.

I bet half the class wouldn't even shoot her, or even back talk her in the first place. I guess it's all in his head, cause I'm sure no one would call him a weakling for not shooting a teacher.

Lol, you mean Lance isn't among the students? Where is this kid?

Tommy really did have it coming.
 
Me, realizing that almost all of my characters have major quirks or suffer from kind of condition..

Seriously they all do lol

Sylva is extremely shy around people. (Social Anxiety)
Mara is overly stern most times without intending to be.
Lance likes to play rock music wherever he goes.
Charlotte is a tsundere.
Vincent is absent-minded/scatter-brained.
Jessica is... well actually she's really the only normal one.
And now we've got Cal who is a constantly sleepy boi. (Narcolepsy)

Raelyn's a people pleaser. (Didn't intend on that, just kind of happened but I think it works for her)
Tommy has anger issues.
Milo has a very traumatic backstory. Constant limp in their leg and all sorts of PTSD and issues.
Isaac is protective of his kids, I guess. Though it's more like how a lot of fathers are with their kids. He's like Jessica, the normal one of the bunch. Though, he had his own issues and grew from them.

I mean, a lot of character's end up having quirks or issues, and those types of characters are usually the fan favorites. If you look at any fandom, a lot of side characters that have some form of issues end up being the favorites. I think maybe because they're more relatable than the perfect main character that a lot of shows have. Also, it makes them more dynamic. They aren't perfect and feel more three dimensional.

On a role-playing perspective, roleplaying those types of characters can be fun. It's great to see characters grow from those issues or conditions. I think that's why I end up having my characters start out weaker (Cough cough Mateo) that and the fact that I don't want to go overpowered.

Go for it. I purposely didn't have it come back to them in that post because something could've happened, whether Vincent end up grabbing it or something like it getting stuck in a wall.
 
Just a Tommy and Rae post. There's not much for Isaac to do at the moment, it would've been just some throw away dialogue anyways if I had made a post for him. Plus, I'm just tired and kind of lazy. First day back at school and feeling drained already. Yay!
