Infernal Previews!

neither is guy in samurai armor with samurai sword from a warrior culture.
I'm not sure if there's a genre of porn based on people in samurai gears, though.

I didn't challenge that it exists (since I've seen some myself), rather that it's a popular enough image to be considered its own type of pornography. :P

Well, I'm saying that people's problem with the hellnun is not that she's not exactly original or refers to real world concept too much, but that the motivation behind her design is too obviously base and sort of offensive. A nun with voodoo gears and decorated with people bits would have been acceptable, since that get's the point of good girl gone bad across. But a nun with leather thongs and a massive cleavage in full display?

:|

I just can't see why you're surprised. I mean, even the core book had a panty shot. I don't see how this is any worse.

It's not worse in the form of more graphic.

It's that it doesn't even remotely fit into the time scale of Exalted.

There are no Catholics, therefore no Catholic nuns, nor are there any other faiths that wear a wimple as part of their uniform. So, why does one of the Infernals wear such an outfit?

Is it because she created the entire Catholic faith? That's even a bit much for me.

I propose that from this point onward, the Infernal Sig characters be known as 'the Disco Infernals".

..Though that's probably giving them too much credit.

I'd rather call them the Dance Commanders.

Also, people -did- throw quite a fit over Lyta's panties. I assumed that such issues was what reduced the number of Kiyo's artworks in the books. (I actually liked her thongs on plates. :( )

Also also,

So' date=' why does one of the Infernals wear such an outfit?[/quote']
Why do Lookshy soldiers where samurai armors? Feudal Japan never existed in Creation either. Calling them out for referencing real world material is sort of a low blow, considering how many awesome things they managed to produce by doing so so far.

But the setup is anime/manga. Ancient Japanese styles would be obvious. Making reference to a non-existent religion does not fit with the style of the game setting.

If they had put a religion in place that had members who wore such clothing, I wouldn't have a problem with it at all.

Possibly.

The oriental influences in the game are strikingly obvious, thus anyone running around in typical Japanese armor wielding a katana isn't going to get much more than a second look.

Where is the Catholic costuming influence in the books?

The Immaculate Order seems to be an altered version of the Catholic faith, but they wear Oriental monk garb, not European monk garb.

It does? Seems much more like monastic Buddhism to me.

You guys are gonna feel real bad when they have some great in setting reason for her to be wearing that and it turns out to be the keystone of her character.

And also when all the pigs are flying and you can't even jump that high.

And meso American, Arabian and other cultures. There is a lot more in Creation than anime and wuxia.

And we already have had a reference to a non-existing religion before fetish nun.

# Hell Safaris—These dangerous expeditions lead small groups into the Demon City of Malfeas, where our defeated foes languish within the body of their leader. Sorcerers can interview prospective demon slaves or collect mystical materials that are unavailable anywhere else. Solar cardinals and archbishops can bring groups of bishops and priests here to show them an example of what Creation could have become if not for the Solar Exalted. It’s been my experience that no one else tends to bother

If that information means anything in relation to this. She might simply be dressed as a First Age "nun" in mockery of the First Age religion.

Neph and HLS, especially Neph are cryptically teasing people with Infernals speculation.

The most definitive he has been is that A. GSP's do not have Exalted charms. and B. They are the Sidereals worst nightmare.

I think it was noted way way back by those two that the GSP have their own charms which "converted" exalted like Dukuntha have access to. Or at least partial access to.

Yeah, stuff was mentioned that Akuma have one patron they can get some sort of charms from. Apparently while Akuma still have Exalted charms, GSP's have absolutely none.

As I understand it, each of the five Yozis that sponsor GSPs have a charm set. Akuma that are part of those Yozis have access to that specific charm set in addition to their original charms (i.e. Dukantha has access to Kimberry's charm set, as well as his original DB charms).

The GSPs have access to all five Yozi charm sets. What else they have access to, I have no idea. Considering the way Abyssals are built, I highly doubt GSPs have access to Solar charms.

Now, why do only five of the Yozis have GSPs to play with? And what charm sets do non-Big 5 akuma get from their Yozis?
